through the son whose name is yahushua in him lies [00:18] the only hope for salvation we know that it is obtained by grace through uh faith not not of Works lest anyone should [00:25] boast and give freely as a gift to all who obey him we understand that if you do not obey him it is made manifest or [00:31] made obvious that you do not believe in this state you should expect no good thing from the most high however [00:38] anything that you do get whether it be a gift of tongues a gift of Prophecy or any Supernatural experience that you may [00:44] have it can and it will be used against you in the day of judgment but that said Peace to the saints that are in the room [00:50] to the saints that couldn't make it but no peace to the Wicked the only thing we say to them is repent that they might [00:58] live all righty last week we we read about Ezra and uh we saw how Ezra you [01:04] know what I'm saying was trying to get the people together so he got he got some of the priests some of the Levites uh came together and they started to [01:10] teach the word as they start going through the word some of the men came to them and they admitted they looking like [01:16] listen we got some strange why as all you know what I'm saying Ezra is like oh [01:21] man of what sort they went through all the sorts and a lot of them was Canaanites there was some AMOM mites in [01:26] there too but a lot of them was Canaanite Nations so so you know what I'm saying Ezra being familiar with the [01:32] law he knew he is like no we wasn't supposed to make no Covenant make no agreements with them [01:40] so thank you but uh he like yeah we wern't supposed to make no agreements with them so he said no let's put them [01:46] away put them away them and their children right so that's what that's [01:52] what uh the fathers did they ended up putting them away putting the children away and putting the uh women away that [01:58] they had um got married to um so now this week what we going to do is we gon [02:03] to read the book of Esther right so let's get let's go ahead and jump right into it read the book of Esther um [02:09] Esther chapter 1 verse one so in the Book of Esther what we kind of are [02:15] looking forward to or what we gonna see um is we have in in a place called [02:21] shushan right one of the one of the the cities of Babylon um you have a Persian [02:28] king that takes over right so his title just like some of the [02:33] other titles we've been reading about is aerus right he got his he you know what [02:39] I'm saying he got his Queen and his Queen gonna displease him and all that we G we gonna read about that but what I [02:45] want y'all to do is I want y'all to pay attention to the decisions that that [02:51] that uh like this is not a book where we have a prophet that's giving guidance [02:58] right so it's a lot of the books we have we have prophets right there giving guidance to people it's only a few books [03:04] that we have where there's no prophets right the book of judgment I mean uh judgment the Book of Judges right [03:11] there's no prophets in the Book of Judges Book of Judges is just like everybody just trying to trying to do [03:16] the best they can right yeah Deborah right so it's it's some prophets in there but I'm just saying generally in [03:22] the in in the in the Book of Judges you're seeing events and stories occur [03:27] where it's not a prophet a prophet really giving giving them guidance on what they should do or what's right or [03:32] what God thinks about a situation so Esther is similar in that this is just [03:38] we reading about people right that don't necessarily have the direct guidance of [03:45] of the most high God through a prophet and then they're making decisions right and that's what I like about Esther so [03:51] much because it it it it's different when you have a prophet that come to you and he tell you to go that way or go [03:58] this way right right that's a different experience it's beautiful to see you know what I'm saying it's a glorious [04:04] thing for the most high God to give you that type of guidance but then I also like to see what what how people are [04:10] making decisions right Great Men of God great women of God are making decisions that's documented in our book when they [04:16] don't have that direct guidance right when for them it feels like a instinct or it feels like they operating based [04:22] off of their understanding of the word right they understanding what's right based off of the word right for me it [04:29] gives us confence confidence that even in these dark times where the most high God doesn't make himself apparent to us [04:34] as much right where where he hides himself for us from us because of our iniquity right he he still guides us [04:43] through the word and those that know the word and and uphold the word right they [04:48] then make a decision another thing I want y'all to pay attention to is the difference between what we going to see [04:53] in morai and the difference of what we saw in Daniel and some and some of the other people or even or even Joseph [05:00] right we reading about Joseph right we just got done reading with Joseph in Genesis right so look at the difference [05:06] between a Daniel or Joseph as they serve at the at the behest of one of the [05:13] rulers right um the difference between even Ezra right remember Ezra gave a lot [05:18] of honor to the King right even though this king is the person who controls the [05:24] fate of his you know his excellent Majesty many days even 80 days and when these days were [06:25] expired the king made a feast unto all the people that were present in shush and Palace both both unto Great and [06:32] Small seven days in the court of the garden of the king's Palace where were [06:37] white green and blue hangings fastened with cords of fine linen and purple the silver rings and pillars of marble the [06:45] beds were of gold and silver upon a pavement of red and blue and white and black [06:50] marble and they gave them drink in vessels of gold the vessels being diverse one from another the Royal Wine [06:57] in abundance according to the state of the king and the drinking was according to the law none did compel for so they [07:04] had a law where you couldn't compel a person to drink right so he's saiding the drinking was according to the to the [07:11] to the Persian law to the mes and the Persian law saying nobody compel so in other words nobody was like man come on [07:17] go
