you should [00:40] expect no good thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether it be a gift of tongue gift of Prophecy [00:46] or any Supernatural experience you may have you can and you will be used it can and it will be used against you in the [00:52] day of judgment with that said Peace to the saints that are in the room to the saints that couldn't make it to the saints that is watching in on the camera [00:59] to the Saints in the that things scattered all the way around the world that we don't even know about but no peace to the Wicked the only thing we [01:05] say um but I like to I like to look at it as these are the details right these [03:44] are the details that the scripture is given us that the gospel is given us [03:49] when we read a few weeks ago when the people were saying he taught as one who had [03:55] Authority right so now we get a idea of what they're talking about like these [04:00] are the things he is talking remember last week he went on and he start introducing the idea of the kingdom of [04:06] heaven and it belonging to people right the only thing we heard we didn't read [04:12] it but the only thing that's happened so far is he said hey repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is is at hand right [04:19] that was back in like Matthew 4 Luke 4 we skipped it right but that's when he [04:25] first introduced the idea kingdom of heaven then he comes back and he starts saying hey blessed are the [04:31] peacemakers blessed are blessed are those that are persecuted right blessed are this [04:37] blessed are that and then and a couple of them he said because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven it's like oh it belong [04:43] to these people then he went on to teach you like I'm not done with the prophets I'm not doing away with the prophets or [04:49] the law in fact I come to fulfill it he told you that people who break even the [04:56] least of the the the Commandments of the law they're still going to be in the Kingdom as least in the Kingdom but if [05:02] you do all of them you'll be great in the Kingdom so he gave you a scale of this Kingdom that he's introducing right [05:10] a people that's going to be leased all the way to great it's going to be levels it's goingon to be a hierarchy there and [05:15] he's telling you how you can kind of fit into it right you start breaking some of the the Commandments you'll still get in [05:21] but you'll be leased right and then he said but if you want to be great you keep all of The [05:28] Commandments but then he he came back and he said but no matter what your fa your your uh your [05:34] righteousness has to exceed the Pharisees right and we gonna talk a little bit more throughout the gospel of [05:40] exactly what that means right but he's saying your righteousness has to exceed the Pharisees then he went on to talk [05:46] about different different thoughts and the law and the different things that that are going on and he challenged the [05:53] conventional thought and he started to teach us how to be perfect right so we went into great detail of that if you [05:59] missed that study stud go back and watch it I think it'd be very valuable to you and it's going to be pivotal to a lot of [06:04] the stuff that we going to be discussing going forward when it comes to the gospel So today we're going to continue [06:10] this same teaching right so him teaching as if he had Authority he goes on for a [06:16] couple more chapters so we G we GNA continue with this teaching this is going to be like a part two all right so [06:21] this is uh Matthew chapter 6 verse1 we finished off Matthew Chapter 5 this is [06:27] Matthew chap 6 verse one I want y'all to be quiet in there come [06:33] sit down this is Matthew chapter 6 verse [06:40] one take heed that you do not your arms before men to be seen he said take heed [06:47] that you don't end up doing your arms before men what does that mean uh don't [06:52] be giving your gifts and in in offerings and stuff before people yeah he saying he's [07:00] saying don't just give people money just to be seen when it say whenever you see [07:05] the book it say before people it's saying in front of right so he's saying don't just be trying to hand out your [07:11] money in front of people right keep going watch [07:18] this there wait be seen of them otherwise you have no reward of your father which is in heaven therefore when [07:25] thou dust thine arms do not sound a trumpet before thee as the Hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets [07:31] right so all these people that be on their phone doing this you know what I'm saying they got their selfie going they say hey this is what we doing we handed [07:38] out money and food to the homeless and this that and other d d yeah you know what I'm saying this look look at this [07:43] we just feel so great being able to help people you know what I'm saying it's that another that stuff is phunny he [07:48] saying he said listen if you doing it for that you got your reward you know what I'm saying I hope you get a couple [07:54] more likes on your video cuz that's about all you got that's the reward you about to get that uh that Drake that [08:00] Drake video that God's plan what you God's plan you know what I'm saying that's exactly that's a that's the best [08:05] example of it God's plan that boy walking around giving people handed out money and stuff and doing that thing on [08:10] a music video have you no shame you know what I'm saying like goodness gracious [08:17] handing money out to poor people on a music video you people are crazy but that's what it is like you got your [08:23] reward if that's what you in it for if that's why the reason why you did it then don't expect nothing from God is [08:28] what he's saying to you right if your purpose is to get notoriety and get attention and have [08:34] people say how great you are and you get all the glory then don't expect nothing from God you got what you was looking [08:41] for because there's gonna be some people that say you know what Drake is such a great person look at him he ended out [08:47] all that money right but the most high God respect the ones that do it behind the [08:52] scenes right you look out for people you ain't got to say nothing you know what I'm saying you don't need nobody to you [08:58] don't need no camera to catch what you doing right mosta God said we should you know what I'm saying if you want to he [09:04] teaching us again to continue the theme from last week he's teaching us how to be perfect right so he's teaching us to [09:11] stay away from all the temp it's tempting if people start looking at you and they start saying how great you are [09:18] for the things that you do it's tempting to start believing [09:24] them right and then your brain get blown up and you start loving the attention [09:29] and you start yah yah is trying to teach us through yahua how to separate [09:34] ourselves from wanting that Glory so he saying resist again against it so much so that you do the exact [09:41] opposite right so he said instead of doing it before people resist the the attention resist the glory and do it [09:48] where nobody know about it read it again watch this that he that you do not your arms before men to be seen of them [09:55] otherwise ye have no reward of your father which is in heaven therefore when you do your arms do not sound a trumpet [10:01] before thee as the Hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets that they may have Glory of men verily I say unto [10:07] you they have their reward but when you right he said them boys let lit the trumpet they come down the [10:15] street you know what I'm saying I'm handing out money today who is the poorest [10:24] around you know what I'm saying our brothers out here walking around like Hey brother look I got you man blow the [10:30] trumpet again so they know I'm here here you go you you got what you was looking you know [10:44] I'm saying that's why you was doing it that's why you got it right keep going watch this but when you do arms let not your [10:50] left hand know with thy right hand do it right so he's saying don't let you all [10:57] right so think about he's giving you imagery right so think about arms arms [11:03] when we say arms and when we reading arms it's talking about you know charity [11:08] what we consider charity right now right giving giving money away giving food away giving things away to people who [11:15] needed right people who you think needed right so when you do that the imagery of [11:22] doing that is using your hands right you saying you know I'm saying I'm giving it to you and I'm going give it to you somebody on my right-and side I'm going [11:28] give it to with my right hand they on my left hand side I'm going give with my left hand you know what I'm saying so the imagery is I'm doing it he's saying [11:37] be so secretive about how you doing this right that your right hand don't even [11:43] know what your left hand is doing even though it's attached to the same body and the same brain and all that he said [11:50] the way the way you should be handled it is you should be trying to hide it even from your own [11:56] self right so the imagery there is try your hardest right to not let anybody [12:04] see what you doing for people because if you doing it for the [12:11] glory and there's that temptation to want that Glory then now that sets you [12:18] up for failure but he's saying if you want to be perfect right listen don't [12:23] even entertain it do it in secret you going to give somebody something you know what I'm saying do it behind closed [12:29] doors and let it just go wherever it go right keep going watch [12:36] this that thine arms may be in secret and that thy father which is in secret himself shall reward thee openly seeth [12:43] in secret himself shall reward thee openly right the things that we do in [12:51] secret yah will pay back in open whether it's good or bad by the [12:56] way right so if we do it in secret and we do something good according to God in [13:03] secret then guess what the most high God will usually exalt us or glorify us or [13:09] or or or bless us openly in a way that everybody knows it and that's what it's [13:15] about right this all requires a high level and trust in God because basically [13:21] everybody got a motive everybody wants something right so if I want Glory then [13:27] yeah I'mma do this and I'mma expect that I get Glory back that's why a lot of people got got you know I'm saying they they be having problem with the you know [13:33] I'm saying what they call one-sided relationships or one-sided friendships and all this because they do things for [13:40] each other right they do things with with with a clear intention of what they expect [13:46] back now sometimes it's not vocalized because it make the relationship seem too transactional [13:52] which you know a lot of people want to pretend that the relationship is not transactional yo I don't be having [13:58] problems with the Trans actional relationship people act like that is a bad thing yeah I mean it's a honest it's [14:03] an honest way to have a relationship because at the end of the day everybody needs something from somebody like you [14:08] know what I'm saying a lot of people people just value different things over you know what I'm saying it's like people that don't like manipulation it's [14:14] like well you're manipulator you know what I'm saying like like everybody manipulates everybody you know what I'm saying it's just a certain type of [14:19] manipulation that you don't rock with you know what I'm saying like you don't man you don't you don't rock with the manipulation where people withholding [14:26] information and controlling your decisions because they not giving the whole story you don't like that you [14:31] don't like the manipulation where people lie to you to kind of direct you into a certain decision like you don't like [14:36] that but all of it is some level of manipulation just by entertaining somebody just by talking to somebody [14:42] just by just by using a little different voice when you talking to somebody all that stuff in manipulation right so it's [14:49] like not all of it is bad we manipulate our kids our moms manipul our moms and dads manipulated us you know what I'm [14:55] saying and a lot of that was for our good you got to manipulate situation you got to manipulate your co-workers and [15:01] all this stuff it ain't always bad it ain't always lying right blind and manipulating withholding the information [15:06] and manipulate is is bad most of the time right but when it come to lying to manipulate is always bad you know what [15:13] I'm saying but but when it come to manipulation it's not you know what I'm saying some it's just different there different ranks of it well in the same [15:19] way we're having transactional relationships are are a different way to say it is using people right using [15:27] people they different there different level of it we just we have certain ways of using people that we okay with [15:33] certain that we don't you know what I'm saying like if somebody use you to to to [15:41] call you and tell you that they love you every day that's not NE we usually won't [15:46] interpret that as using but a lot of times a person that does that they need [15:51] to do that right they need and they need you to receive that from them right it's [15:57] something in them that it's like okay we know this is this is what needs to come out of me for whatever reason whatever their reasonings are you know what I'm [16:03] saying it's like I need to get this off but then there's sometimes that these people are doing things like that only [16:10] to get a response from you right I'mma call and I'mma text and tell you that I [16:15] love you every single day only because I need you to love me or I need to feel [16:22] like you love me because I like the response that I get or whatever it might be there's nothing wrong with that right [16:29] there's nothing wrong with that however we should always be honest that this is the transactional relationship I'm going [16:36] to give you this you gonna do that I'mma take care of you that was a lot of you know what I'm saying it's like this generation of men it were in my [16:43] generation you try to hide you know what I'm saying you trying to hide doing stuff for girl you know what I'm saying you try you saying it's like listen you [16:49] know I'm saying like no I didn't buy that for her you know I'm saying it's like that thing you know what I'm saying [16:55] that thing was like frowned upon but this generation it seemed like these boys out here [17:01] D And that's the expectation there's nothing wrong with that right however if [17:07] you dishing out money because you want something you want her attention you want that and you're pretending that you [17:14] just doing it just because off of the strength just because you know what I'm saying off of the love well then now [17:19] that's icky right now that's icky once you have me like [17:25] listen I'm going to pay for dinner tonight because my expectation is you going to entertain me and you going to [17:30] like me and this that and the other you know what I'm saying like this is this how it's going to go okay but that's different you know what I'm saying [17:37] that's different now you it's direct it's transactional everybody know what's going on right a lot of our [17:43] relationships are transactional a lot of our relationships are just not honest right people are not honest like this is [17:49] what I need out of the relationship this is what you need out of a relationship are we compatible in that [17:56] way you know what I'm saying can I give you what you need and can I get and I'm not talking about just male female [18:02] relationships or romantic relationships I'm talking about just relationships mother father relationship I mean uh [18:08] mother uh mother son relationships or mother daughter relationships brother sister relationships best friend [18:15] relationships employee relationships right it's like it's important to have a [18:21] clear understanding of what the other does for another because otherwise what [18:26] you do is you get into a situation where you start expecting everyone to be you right I've done so much for you or [18:35] I've done this for you or I would never let nobody say this to you or I would never let this that and the other and [18:40] then what happens is you start expecting them to be to have the same levels of of [18:46] morals or the same level of uh values that you have for you for them and it's [18:52] like that's because y'all wasn't clear you know what I'm saying if you were clear with each other about this is what [18:57] I'm expecting of you and this is what you expect of me then it' be like okay well I know this is how far we could [19:04] take it or I know I don't want to be your friend in that way because I can't expect for you to do the types of things [19:09] I need right and now you have a more honest relationship now you have an opportunity to have Grace on one another [19:16] and just say okay well even though I know you can't you can't give me what I need I'm still going you know what I'm saying I'm still GNA be in this [19:21] relationship because there's just certain things about you that I want to help and now it becomes a selfless thing [19:26] and now that is a righteous thing at that that point right when it when you take a sacrifice right that's what giv [19:33] arms is about when you take a sacrifice and you say I'm no longer looking for you to be transactional with me now [19:41] instead I'm looking for God to be transactional with me right that's when it becomes an arm right that's when it [19:47] when it becomes something that's righteous that the most high God will glorify you for because it's like oh no [19:52] I'm not expecting anything from my friend here or from this person I just met or this person that I believe is in [19:59] need right or my family members right I'm no no longer expecting anything from [20:04] them and no I'm no longer doing this to get something from them my reasoning for [20:09] doing this in this situation is simply to get something from God I know they [20:15] need it I know I can help I know I can take the sacrifice but I know I get [20:20] repaid from the most high God and when you operate with that type of faith it sets you away from what's normal right [20:27] it's three levels right it's the bottom level is the person that's ly scheming pretending that they doing stuff out of [20:33] the kindness of their heart but in reality they looking for something back from you from that individual there's [20:39] nothing wrong with it looking for some something you know back however if you pretending that you doing it as a gift [20:46] or out of mercy and really you looking for something in return from that person that's wrong right then the next level [20:53] is the person that's honest just like oh this is what I want from you this is what I'm willing to do this that another [20:59] da da then hey let's let's have this great family relationship this great romantic relationship let's have [21:04] whatever and you guys transacting it's a transaction relationship and y'all fulfill each other needs and sometimes [21:09] people Gonna Miss expectations and you got to have Grace or whatever and work through it right but then the highest [21:15] level is going to be I'm not looking nothing from you or I'm not looking for these things from you instead I'm [21:22] looking for it from God I'm looking for my repayment from God and this is what yahushua is trying to teach us to that [21:28] high level all right keep going and when you pray you shall not be [21:34] as the Hypocrites are for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets that they may [21:39] be seen of men verely I say unto you they have their reward but you right so [21:44] it's the same idea he's looking like these people like to be in front of people they stand in the middle of the [21:50] street or middle of the synagogue and they pray and they make these long prayers and they try to look and people [21:56] just say oh look how great that prayer was look how great that man of God is or look how it's like yeah he trying to [22:02] teach you resist that stuff you know what I'm saying he's saying resist that s let's see how we should pray how [22:08] should we pray yahua you when you pray enter into thy closet and when you have shut thy door pray to thy father which [22:14] is in secret and thy father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly right he said pray in thy closet you don't [22:21] have to be in front of everybody everybody ain't got to see you pray he said resist it because that's how you're [22:27] perfect that's how you erase the opportunity to even be tempted to do something for the wrong reason right [22:34] that's what this is about he's giv you like he's giving you the way to stay furthest away from what could even [22:41] possibly become sin but to do it in a way that that is it puts everything on [22:48] you it don't put the burden on anybody else it just puts everything on you right that's what all of these teachings [22:55] are about right is how do you how is what's the perfect way to stay against uh stay away from sin what's the perfect [23:02] perfect way to stay away from Temptation and if you do these things and you're ridding this thirst for Glory and [23:09] attention and pride you're ridding yourself of it right keep [23:17] going but when you pray use not vain repetitions as the heathens do they [23:22] think that they shall be heard for their much speaking be ye not therefore like [23:28] unto them for your father knoweth the things that you have need of before you asked him right he he's basically [23:34] talking about vain repetition that's basically saying like empty words that you repeat all right it's another way of [23:41] saying vain repetition it's just empty words that you repeating so you know what I'm saying you see I don't know how [23:46] the hell Mary go but the the easiest one to pick on is the Catholics you know what I'm saying because they got the beads and they do a certain number of [23:53] beads and they feel like the more that they do the better you know what I'm saying but certain ritual rual they do [23:59] like a certain number they say okay for this ritual you got to do this many beads but each time the bead is like a [24:05] counter so each time they hit it you know what I'm saying then they got to repeat this this this Vain and [24:10] repetitious prayer this empty prayer so it's like H Mary [24:15] this mared this I don't know how thing go but whatever whatever it is they get [24:21] to pray and the Mary that's the first mistake you know what I'm saying it's crazy stuff these people be doing but then they just you know what I'm saying [24:26] they just move the bead over and they keep going and it's not just the Catholics right the Catholics picked that up from other religions right they [24:34] picked that up from the Pagan religion so it's not just the Catholics it's many of these Pagan religions that that that [24:40] has that type of thing I think Islam has something like that as well where where they have a vain repetitious prayer that [24:47] they just do over and over again um and this is what the most high God is warning us against right here right this [24:53] stuff is not made of this stuff this stuff is right here but nevertheless you have the big is when you ask the average [25:00] person what is the best repres representation of the body of Christ or [25:05] the body of God or the body of the Messiah or the people of God or the people he the mo the average person is [25:13] going to tell you the uh the Christians or the Catholic church or whatever and [25:18] these very things that yahushua told us to just stay away from right don't do these things you [25:26] know what I'm saying these are the very things that people like base their whole religion off of and it's very [25:34] interesting to see right and it's not again it's not that these things are sins right it's not he's not he's not [25:40] telling you that anybody who repeat a prayer they a sinner because they repeat a prayer that's not that's not what he's [25:45] saying here right he's telling you how to be perfect but you see these things and he's telling you these are signs of [25:52] of people who will be tempted into glory and vanity right and pride and he's [26:00] trying to teach us to stay away from that glory and that vanity and that Pride all right keep [26:07] going after this manner therefore pray ye Our Father which are in heaven [26:12] Hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread [26:19] and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors and lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for [26:26] thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen right so he gave [26:31] us a very short structured prayer right and the the the structure of the prayer [26:36] fits the structure that we've talked about previously right we always talk about kind of like there's four [26:43] components in the prayer we talked about this when we read Daniel so for for those that was with us when we read [26:48] Daniel Daniel chapter n um Daniel had a very a very structured prayer it was [26:54] much longer than this one but it's the same the same component components of the prayer right so those components are [27:02] if you start to go back and start at the beginning he says Our Father who art in [27:07] heaven right so our father up in heaven so he says who he is you know what I'm [27:12] saying he identifies yah right who who is he to me right and then where is he [27:17] at right so Our Father which one the one that's up in heaven I'm not talking [27:23] about Joseph I ain't talking about nobody else I'm talking about my father who's up in heaven our father who's up [27:30] in heaven right then he goes on he say thy kingdom come thy will be done on [27:36] Earth as it is in heaven so what he's saying there is he's he's giv them Glory [27:41] he's saying like you the boss you going to run this thing he's giving them Glory he's acknowledging that who he is right [27:48] so that's always another component right is identify yah and then you give him glory and then you have your ass right [27:56] after that he said give us our bread right our daily give us our daily bread [28:01] ain't that what's next give us this day our daily bread yeah he said give us this day our daily bread and what else [28:07] and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors right so then the next thing that he did is he's confessing his Sins [28:14] Not him yahua but he's he's confessing our sins right he said forgive us our [28:20] debts what he's talking about there is our debts to God what we owe God we owe [28:25] God our lives right God owes us death so that's the [28:31] exchange because we sin we are in debt to God we have to give him our lives he [28:38] has to give us death in exchange for that right so we have those three [28:46] components that we've seen so far right we have the the identification the glory [28:52] the ask and then the last one is the confession of the sin right that [28:57] confession of the sin so we have the four components so after he says forgive us our debts he going to go right back [29:03] into um the glory and then he gonna close it out watch [29:10] this and lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for thine is the [29:16] kingdom and the power and the glory forever amen right so it has all four of those [29:21] components right the identification of yah the glory right us glorifying him [29:29] right the ask or the request and then lastly the confession [29:34] of sins right that's a well structured prayer now does that mean that every [29:40] single prayer has to have all four of those components no sometimes you're your prayer might be simply to praise [29:46] God we saw that we just recently read something like that when we was reading in uh uh who was that uh who was that who [29:55] was that who was that was that was that maybe it was Samuel's mom you remember [30:00] Samuel's Mom after after I what it might be Samuel chapter 3 chapter 4 maybe um [30:07] she start going she you know what I'm saying she start going up to to to the temple to see uh or to the uh Tabernacle [30:14] to see uh Samuel and she she began to pray and she prays yah in her prayer so [30:21] in her prayer she didn't have a request most high God had already given her her her request right so at this point she [30:27] just a prayer simply to praise yah so in this situation you wouldn't have a [30:33] request you may not even she didn't even have confessions of sin right she just [30:38] had the two components where she identified yah and she glorified them that's perfectly fine nothing wrong with that prayer right but these are just [30:45] four components that we'll often see in a prayer um that we often see in what we would consider the well structured [30:52] prayer and it fits it fits the bill of what what yahushua is telling us here [30:57] all right keep going watch [Applause] [31:05] this for if you forgive men their trespasses your heavenly father will [31:10] also forgive you but if you forgive not men their trespasses neither will your father forgive your trespasses whover [31:16] when fast so he's he's he's letting us know that our forgiveness from God is [31:23] tied to our forgiveness for people right y'all will forgive [31:29] us based off of how we forgive people and so that's why people say you [31:36] know what it's you can't hold grudges and that's [31:42] important right we can't take stuff personal to the point that we holding grudges because it just doesn't make [31:47] sense for us like what are we even talking about okay yeah you did something to me [31:54] what I'mma do like what what is that what are we talking about am I gonna get vengeance and if you're not going to get [31:59] Vengeance right so you have to you have to kind of just walk yourself through this stuff if I'm going to get Vengeance [32:04] then I know that I'm going against the law I'm going against what Y what y'all told me make that decision if you gonna [32:10] do it then make that decision you just gonna do it but acknowledge that like I'm not doing what y'all told me I'm a [32:16] sinner and I am being rebellious to God right make that decision you pick aide [32:22] you do what you going to do but then once you work through that thought and be like no okay I ain't going to do that [32:27] then why would it make sense to hold a grudge against this person now what you're doing is you lying you not [32:32] picking a side you lying to yourself and you're telling yourself okay I'm not gonna get Vengeance but then at the same [32:38] time telling myself that person needs to pay for this I'mma make them pay for it one way or another well that's still [32:46] Vengeance right if you go try to collect your debt that's still Vengeance you got to let a judge order [32:54] that person to collect your debt right what you think happened when [32:59] when when OJ you know what I'm saying he lost that judgment you know what I'm saying when the people the people rigged [33:04] the system again him he beat he beat the he beat the case where the police tried to plant evidence on him and triy to say [33:10] he murdered you know what I'm saying murdered that woman you know I'm saying he beat that case then they said they set up a civil suit against him and [33:16] after they set up the civil suit against him they tried to set him up and then they ruled against him there and then he [33:22] had to pay all this stuff and give up all his property and all that stuff right so then he went and tried to get [33:29] his own stuff back is how it was presented to a lot of us right but at [33:34] that point he had already been a judgment had been placed against him that that was no longer his stuff so [33:42] that was a trap he go up and he tried to get it himself instead of going and fighting the Judgment or appealing or [33:49] doing anything else he goes and try to fight it get it himself and by doing that now he's stealing property that is [33:56] no longer his in his mind is mine it's my stuff right but because he didn't go to [34:03] proper channels well now the legal system work against them and that's how it is for all of us when it com to the most high God right if there's wrong [34:10] against listen according to our law right it's a eye for an eye if somebody [34:18] punch me in the eye right now and knock my darn eye out I can go punch them and knock they [34:25] eye out right back absolutely not that ain't how our law law work you got to bring that to a [34:34] judge and once you bring it to the judge can you just say it by [34:39] yourself like man that person just punched me in the eye what the judge gonna say to you you got any Witnesses [34:46] yeah who else you know what I'm saying who else you know what I'm saying you got you got another witness you got to have two wit ain't no matter GNA be didn't punch him no he didn't punch him no I saw him too he didn't punch him now the judge gota weigh it out be like [35:17] okay where where do y'all say this might have happened at he gota look through all the evidence and then the judge [35:22] gonna make a call based off of what he hear he gonna say okay you know what I say [35:28] yes go ahead and punch him in the eye and only at that point can he punch him in the eye or the judge could even say [35:35] you can't punch him in the eye but I'mma have somebody else punch you in the eye it's your punishment and the same thing [35:40] you did to your eye I'mma have somebody else do it to your eye but the judge has to make that call [35:46] we couldn't even our law doesn't allow us to take Vengeance into our own hands you're not justified just for just [35:52] because somebody killed you know what I'm saying killed your brother and you go over there and kill him that don't make you Justified [35:58] you become a murderer too right our law has to put that person [36:05] to death our law has to Stone that person and for that it has to come through a judge well it's no different [36:10] with yah right it's no different from yah we have to make sure that we put [36:16] Vengeance in yah's hands and by doing that he will make the world kneel to [36:23] us but our problem is not is not Vengeance our problem is trust we don't [36:30] trust God but when you don't trust God you feel like you have to take it into your own [36:37] hands when you don't have enough information when you don't have enough knowledge even when it's not about trust [36:43] necessarily right sometimes you don't know enough right sometimes it's trust you [36:50] know but it's like man I'm not sure that's going to happen the way God said it is you that's what God expected me I don't even realize that that's God plan you going to take it matters into your own [37:31] hand either way it's an error right and we have to be very [37:37] conscious of that we have to make sure that we know the book enough that's the first step then the next step is we got [37:42] to trust what it say and if we do that then Vengeance becomes less important to us heart what is heart right it's the inside your emotions your [45:54] thoughts so what he's saying is you are thinking about your treasure your [46:01] treasure whatever your treasure is that's what's occupying your insides [46:07] occupying your thoughts and your emotions and your thinking right so a lot of people treasure [46:13] family right I treasure family right I treasure my kids I treasure my wife [46:20] right so many of my thoughts are about them right many of my thoughts are about [46:27] okay how is he going to grow up how is he going to be okay if we keep talking to him like that is that really going to [46:34] develop him like okay if we don't stop him from having this bad habit what could that develop and turn into and I'm [46:40] just obsessing over this stuff constantly like you know what I'm saying what can we do different what how does [46:46] this need to go how do we change this this that another my wife same thing how do I make sure she stay encouraged how [46:51] am I more encouraged by her how do I become a better husband how do I do that just constantly constantly constantly [46:57] think about these things I make it easier around the house how we make things happen you know what I'm saying okay if every week we run into this [47:03] cycle how can I switch it up to make sure we don't hit this cycle how do I prevent this argument how do I do all [47:10] these different things and it's constant because that's where my treasure is so all my thoughts are around protecting my [47:17] treasure right let's say money is the treasure and you guys will hear this [47:22] right it's not just money is the treasure like that's my goal no it it is [47:29] occupying my heart in other words it occupies all my thoughts and my emotions [47:35] so that's the people that chase money that will give up anything for money [47:40] that would take you when when it comes to women they will put themselves in compromising positions for notoriety and [47:48] money because that is where their treasure is they will trade things about [47:53] themselves and I'm not just talking about hookers or or whatever right I'm talking about business women [48:00] I'm talking about ambitious corporate women right they will trade things for [48:06] the status or for the money right men exact same thing even [48:12] worse in some cases right men will trade things for their money they will trade [48:18] their morals they will trade their self-respect they will trade all these things for money they will look past a [48:25] whole whole bunch of stuff for money you got people sitting around that they know [48:31] they will sit here and have a whole a whole conversation of how black people need to do this they need to pull up [48:37] their by their bootstrap and black people messed up for doing this and black and they black right and then you [48:42] get to talking about Jewish people like I'mma shut up I you know what I'm saying I don't want I don't want my TV show to be shut down I don't want my I don't [48:49] want my podcast to be shut down I don't want this that and another other so now it's no longer a principal [48:55] thing right things no longer you all right so now he gives you a formula [54:49] he says okay if you want I know you care about all these things but if you seek first the kingdom and you say okay how [54:57] do I make sure I am perfect with yah he said man you don't even understand the [55:02] rest of this stuff is going to be added to you cuz yah already knows that you need it he already knows that you want [55:10] it and he'll add all the rest of that stuff to you but you just have to seek first the kingdom so then what that does [55:18] is that challenges our knowledge and our trust right if we know that yah wants [55:25] these things for us well then then that takes care of the knowledge piece then the only thing left is trust do I really [55:31] believe that I don't need to worry about food or about a place to live or clothes [55:37] or anything like that the only thing I need to worry about is getting right with the most high God if that is [55:45] true then that's cool I'mma focus on yah [55:50] it's only when we don't completely trust that that's true that we start to deviate a little bit and sometimes that [55:56] deviation ain't even a sin it's just not perfect and it creates a vulnerability [56:02] it creates a opening and that's where Satan comes into attack you will see a lot of stuff that [56:08] we read about yahushua he is 100% Focus we talked about it he's talking about [56:15] don't worry about food right we talked about uh maybe four weeks ago when he [56:20] sat at the well with the woman when the disciples came back what did they ask him they look like man you hungry [56:27] brought back some food and yahua responded and said no I already got my food my food is from the [56:36] father right it's it's important to see that [56:41] he's not just talking this stuff he has the 1,000% Focus that that he's talking [56:48] about and when you have that focus it separates you from everybody else and [56:54] now people have to come to where you are are and have to try to live up to the standard that you set right but it [57:00] allows you to be completely focused on the most high God which leaves you [57:06] invulnerable right it leaves you impenetrable to to the to the attacks of [57:12] Satan because you're perfect right there's no way that he can come in and try to distract you because you're not [57:19] interested in none of the foolishness right you proving it to yourself and proving it to others that [57:25] you're not interested in any other foolishness keep [57:32] going take therefore no thought for the tomorrow for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself [57:38] sufficient unto today unto the day is the evil thereof right he saying listen [57:43] it's enough evil today in other words it's enough bad stuff happening today then for you to sit here and worry about [57:50] tomorrow right the wisdom and if you take time and really really think about [57:56] the stuff that he's saying the wisdom in it is just amazing right because he's [58:01] telling you he what he's about to say next is really the part that kind of seal a deal but he's telling you it's [58:07] enough bad stuff happening right now you know what I'm saying and you you think about next week you think about the bad [58:15] stuff that's gonna happen about next week right taking my example when I [58:20] think about my kids or I think about my wife I'm looking like okay how this gonna be this how I'm worried about [58:26] stuff years from now and y'all trying to tell me like boy [58:31] you don't realize it's enough happening today that you can't what you went through today you can't handle you know [58:39] what I'm saying like you got stuff happening today that if it was all revealed to you lose your darn [58:48] mind right and you trying to focus on years from now you trying to focus on [58:54] tomorrow you trying to focus on next week no he said look it's sufficient to even focus on what's going on today the evil [59:01] [59:36] shall be judged and with what measure ye meet it shall be measured to you again right so this is kind of related to what [59:42] he is talking about about forgiveness he looking like look forgive us in our prayer right he said pray like this [59:49] right our Heavenly Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name in other words set apart is your name right thy [59:55] kingom kingom come thy will be done in earth on Earth as it is in heaven give [60:01] us th this day our daily bread uh and forgive us our debts as we forget our [60:07] give our debtors right so the same way that I forgive my debtor right the [60:12] person that that that owes me money I forgive them forgive us our debts right [60:19] so if you think about that concept he says listen if you forgive then I'll [60:25] forgive you you that's the concept that's the picture that he set up well in the same way he say look the same way [60:32] you judge so like the opposite of forgiveness kind of is Judge right when you judge you have it's [60:39] just about making a decision so if you have a matter brought before you and it's like somebody's wrong somebody's [60:45] right or at least somebody's wrong right somebody's the wrong party in this when you judge you have to decide okay this [60:52] person's wrong right this is what happened this person's wrong so then the opposite of that is [60:59] forgiveness right once the Judgment comes okay this person's wrong he owes [61:04] you $70 now the person that is owed $70 has [61:09] the power to forgive that very same $70 that the judge said you [61:15] owe right so the the kind of opposite of judgment is forgiveness right so now on [61:23] the other side of it he's saying don't judge or else you'll be judged the same [61:31] way that you judge is the same way that yah will judge you [61:36] right and that's how it works yah uses the same messed up thinking that you [61:41] going to apply to the world to justify yourself to do the stuff that you want to do he's going to flip it that's why [61:47] we say in the beginning anything you say can and will be used against you in the [61:53] day of judgment right because the same way that you approached it the same way that you [62:00] Justified your actions the same way that you feeling like you know what I don't like when people do that to me and then [62:06] you turn around and you do the same thing to other people or you do a similar thing to other people the most [62:11] high God is gonna look when he look when it's Judgment Day and he put that thing on the big screen he's gonna light your [62:18] butt up like oh no you know that was wrong you knew it was wrong when other people did it to you you know what I'm [62:24] saying when people did it to you you knew it was messed up and you knew it was wrong and you told him no that's [62:30] wrong I can't I can't stand when people do me like that I can't stand when people trick me and lie to me and take advantage of you manipulate me or [62:35] whatever whatever it is you knew it was messed up and then you turned around and you did the same thing to other people [62:42] so the same way you felt about them is how I feel about you right and that's how that's how yah [62:50] operates right he uses our own judgment against us because he knows that we are [62:59] hypocrites grab uh grab uh second Samuel chapter [63:06] 12 2 Samuel chapter 12 give me verse [63:16] one right A lot of people use this verse judge notless you be judged they try to say the man is telling you don't judge [63:24] right don't judge anybody right that's not what he's telling you [63:30] he's not telling you don't judge anybody he's telling you the same way that you judge is the same way that you gonna be [63:36] judged back so if a person were to judge righteously judge according to the book [63:43] judge according to righteousness then in that situation that's how that same [63:48] person will be judged now if you behave righteous [63:56] and you judge righteously guess what you don't have anything to [64:01] fear right if you judge people unrighteously in other words you look at them and say okay well even though [64:07] you're not doing anything wrong I'm GNA do something wrong to you then most high [64:13] God is Not GNA do something wrong to you when you don't deserve it but even more so is right for him to judge you [64:20] righteously right but if you judge people righteously and say no you truly [64:25] are wrong and you're right about it right that person's wrong but then you and your own life are not righteous then [64:32] guess what yah is going to judge you with the same verocity that you judge them because you didn't have no [64:38] mercy you didn't look at him just be like oh you know what he had a lot right keep going but the but the but the poor man he only had [65:47] this one little e Lamb one little baby lamb right and watch how he felt about [65:52] this baby lamb watch this bought and nourished up and it grew up together with with him and with his children it [65:57] did eat of his own meat and drank of his own cup and lay in his bosom it was unto him as a daughter right so this lamb was [66:05] to him like a baby like a daughter he raised the thing up to the point where [66:10] he got a cup and he he a lamb he drink and he shared a drink with the lamb the [66:17] lamb was like you ever seen one of them people that's too close to they dog you know what I'm saying they dog running around they let let the dog lick them [66:24] all in the face you know what I'm saying the dog jump in the bed with him and all that stuff white people be doing that [66:30] stuff but there's some black folk doing it now too right and they be climbing up on the couch with them like oh no I like my [68:31] lamb you know what I'm saying I got plans for every lamb I got every darn animal I got out there I got plans but [68:38] guess what now he got a visitor he got somebody coming to town and they need somewhere to stay and he looking like [68:45] man no you can stay here uh let's make something to eat what you got to eat I [68:51] don't want to kill I got plans for mine you know what I'm saying go uh where that poor man at that got that darn lamb [68:57] go ahead and go take his right he has plenty but because he [69:04] don't want to spend it he said go take the other one go take the Poor Man's [69:09] Land watch this and David's anger was greatly kindled against the man and he said to [69:15] Nathan as Yahweh lives the man that has done this thing shall surely die right [69:21] what n what what Nathan just presented to David was a case he said look this is [69:26] the case we need a judge we need you to make a decision on this and David looked [69:32] at that case and he said oh no no no I know that's wrong you G look whoever did [69:40] that this is David the king whoever did that will surely [69:48] die he took that thing personally he said the let because you know David is [69:54] kind of like you know what I'm saying like the people that we talking about David David likeed the land he took care [69:59] of the sheep you know what what David said now watch what Nathan says to [70:33] David and he and he shall restore the lamb fourfold because he did this thing and because he had no pity and Nathan [70:40] said to David you are the man thus says Yahweh God of Israel I anointed thee [70:45] King over Israel and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul and I gave thee thy Master's house and thy Master's [70:51] wives into thy bosom and gave Thee the house of Israel and of Judah and if that had been too little I would have [70:58] moreover I would moreover have given thee such and such things wherefore has [71:03] thou despised the Commandment of Yahweh to do evil in his sight that you have killed Uriah the hittite with the sword and has taken his wife to be your wife [71:10] and has slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine [71:16] house because thou has despised me and has taken the wife of Uriah the hittite to be thy [71:21] wife thus says Yahweh behold I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house and will take thy wives before [71:29] thine eyes and give them unto thy neighbor and he shall be and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this [71:35] son for you did it secretly but I will do this thing before all Israel and before the [71:40] son right he did it what secretly because we talked about it [71:46] earlier listen if you pray in the closet or the most high God he going to reward you openly because you did it secretly [71:54] if you hide your arms from your right hand to your left hand you know what I'm saying because you do that secretly [72:00] guess how the most high God going to reward you openly right but if you sin against the [72:07] brother of your people right and take his wife and commit adultery and then [72:12] send the people or send send the man out to go die to cover up your sin well [72:18] guess what you did that secretly and I'mma reward you openly but remember [72:25] what David's judgment was his judgment was this man shall die and he has to [72:32] restore four times four times he has to restore it so we gonna read those of us [72:39] that's reading the Bible in the year we gonna read David's life and we gonna see exactly what his judgment was ends up [72:46] coming to him right it's gonna end up coming to him because he about to lose one baby [72:52] son that was born of uah's wife right then he gonna lose another son that end [72:58] up rap raping his daughter right his son raped his daughter then he gonna lose another son [73:04] you know what I'm saying over over going to war over that whole little situation and then he gonna lose a another son you [73:10] know what I'm saying that comes uh that comes to uh to Solomon you know what I'm [73:15] saying Solomon trying to take the kingdom well not you know what I'm saying yeah trying to take the kingdom you know what I'm saying his wives too [73:23] huh and his wives too and his wives and his wives right so he had he he had to [73:30] restore fourfold he had to get that back fourfold for what he did to [73:37] Uriah right cuz yah use his judgment against [73:43] him we'll read it when we get to verse [74:40] one judge not that you be not judged for with what judgment you judge you shall [74:46] be judged and with that what measure you meet it shall be measured to you again and why beholdest thou the moat [74:53] that is in thy brother's eye but consider not the beam that is in thine own eye for how will thou say to thy [74:59] brother let me pull out the mold out of thine eye and behold a beam is in thine own eye all right so he's saying what [75:07] what sense does it make so remember he talking about judging so he's talking about somebody making a decision about [75:12] who's right and who's wrong so he's saying what sense do it make to start to find something in your brother's eye be [75:19] like hey man you got something in your eye but you don't even see that you got this big old thing hanging out of your [75:25] eye you can't even see straight because you got this big old thing hanging out of your eye but you taking all this time [75:31] to meticulously point out what's going on in your brother's eye man something wrong with your eye you know what I'm [75:37] saying he's saying well why he'll read it go ahead for how will thou say to thy [75:44] brother let me pull out the moat out of thine eye and behold a beam is in thine own eye thou hypocrite First cast out [75:50] the beam out of thine own eye and then you shall see clearly to cast out the mo out of thy brother [75:55] right so you can see the purpose is never to not judge the purpose is to to behave [76:03] righteously that is the main purpose of what he's saying but a lot of look we've heard judge don't judge don't the Bible [76:10] say judge not no we heard that so many times right it's it's repeated all the [76:15] time we've heard it throughout our lives right but you can see the stuff that gets repeated the most from the Bible is [76:22] the most misunderstood always if they get to see John 3:16 all these different things [76:28] they just they just if they find something in the book that they can wear out nine times out of 10 they wearing it [76:34] out because they don't get it right and that's what's Happening Here people say oh the Bible says judge [76:40] not the Bible said don't judge the Bible said no no no no no what he's telling you is behave right this really is not [76:48] even about judging this is about your behavior he's telling you don't be a hypocrite straighten your your own [76:55] behavior up before you start to looking at other people right that is how you are [77:03] perfect that is how you are perfect right straighten yourself up before you [77:08] get to running your mouth about other people he said it don't make sense for you to feel like you can look in your [77:14] brother's eye you got this big old thing in your eye you can't even see straight he said first take that thing out and [77:20] cast it out so that then you can see straight to help your brother with what's going on in his [77:25] eye prior prioritize your uh righteousness [77:31] first right because that's what the message is seek ye first the kingdom if [77:38] you make your treasure the kingdom if that's what you think about all day all [77:44] night how do I preserve my relationship with the most high right then all the [77:51] rest of that stuff will be added to you including friends that'll change their life in the [77:57] same way so you ain't got to like look through their eye and try to point stuff out make sure you right first and then [78:03] when you right when you in a place where you comfortable when you have when you have when you have confidence in the [78:08] righteousness of the most high god well then that's when you can point out some other stuff that's when you can start teaching people that's when you can [78:13] start leading people along but it don't make no sense to do that until you get it right you can't teach the people of [78:19] the okay let's use David again as an example go to Psalms Psalms chapter 51 [78:27] right this is this is a Psalm that David wrote after what happened with yah after [78:32] he got busted right after Nathan came to him was like y yo you the man you know what I'm saying that man that that poor [78:39] man that you trying to you know I'm saying protect you know what I'm saying you the man you the rich man in this [78:45] situation you know what I'm saying this is Psalm chapter 51 start me off at about verse [78:52] n hide thy face from my sin and blot out my iniquities create in me [78:57] a clean heart oh God and renew a right Spirit Within Me cast me not away from thy presence and take not thy Holy [79:04] Spirit from me restore unto me the joy of thy salvation and uphold me with thy free spirit then will I teach transgress [79:11] thy ways and sinners shall be converted to thee right so he says after you restore me then I'm going to teach [79:19] transgressors thy ways right then I'mma teach people but [79:25] first I got to get it right right that has to be our mindset because that's how [79:31] this stuff works there too many teachers out there just jumping out and they ain't got it right [79:36] yet you can't even see properly because of all the sin right you can't even read the [79:43] scripture properly because of all the sin first thing you got to do is get yourself right understand what the book [79:49] say then you can go out and start teaching people and start start trying to help people out why you going to look at your brother and you got he got a [79:55] little speck in his darn eye and you got this big old thing hanging out your darn eye and you ain't even thinking to get [80:01] it you ain't even trying to get rid of that's too much work it's easier you know what I'm saying to point out stuff with [80:06] him right that's what the message is here again it a judge not that's not the [80:13] message the message is your behavior that's what it always comes down to of [80:19] each and every person's Behavior your
