Summary
Why were the leaders more upset about a healed man carrying his bed than about the miracle itself? In this Sabbath lesson from John 5 and Jeremiah 17, we see Yahushua heal a man on the Sabbath and warn him to sin no more, and we learn what it really means to bear no burden on the Sabbath day. Through Genesis 10 and 15 and Exodus 34, you’ll see why Israel was told not to make covenants with the Canaanites, why every firstborn belongs to Yahuah, and how Moses’ face shone from being in His presence. Finally, Matthew 25 and Revelation 7 show that all nations, not Israel alone, will be gathered before Him and separated as sheep from goats, so we must pick a side and serve the least of these, and Revelation 12 shows that the everlasting fire was prepared for the devil and his angels.
