[00:00] sabbath piece it's another opportunity for us to come together and hear and learn that a word [00:05] of truth that's given to us by the most high god our honor goes to the father through the son whose name is yahushua [00:12] in him lies the only hope for salvation we know that it is obtained by grace through faith not of works unless anyone [00:18] should boast and given freely as a gift to all who obey him we understand that if you do not obey him it is made [00:24] manifest or made obvious that you do not believe in this state you should expect no good [00:30] thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether it be a gift of tongues a gift of prophecy or [00:35] any supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against you in the day of judgment with that [00:41] said peace to the saints that are in the room so the saints that couldn't make it but no peace to the wicked the only [00:46] thing we say to them is repent that they might live [00:51] let's go to um numbers chapter 13 verse 1. [00:59] it would have been waiting for is numbers chapter 13 verse 1 [01:06] and the lord spoken to moses saying send thou men that they that they may search the land of canaan right so remember you [01:13] gotta just to set up the context make sure we understand where we are we were in egypt [01:19] we come out of egypt we are given that this is the first day i'm sorry the first the beginning of [01:25] months the first year right we fast forward the beginning of the second year [01:32] we set up the tabernacle in the wilderness right fast forward a month or so you know what [01:39] i'm saying and then we start counting the people okay [01:45] now we're about to scope out land [01:51] originally when we left egypt what was the promise [01:58] why were we leaving egypt and where were we going after we left egypt [02:16] [Music] you're inside that's what it's not [02:21] raining so we were going to go to the land of milk and honey [02:27] right we were going to go to the land of canaan because that's the promise that was given to our father who's our father [02:34] who was that promise given to let's go this is uh genesis chapter 15. peace uh-huh but watch this you shall be buried in a good old age but in the fourth generation they shall come here [05:07] again they shall come where again here again where is he at for the iniquity of the amorites is not yet full [05:14] he's in the land of the amorites he's in the land of canaan right [05:19] so the promise was given to abraham that at some point the after the fourth generation [05:25] yo your children your descendants were gonna end up coming back to canaan and you would have this land [05:33] so now when when moses took took uh the people in and the most high god gave him [05:38] a vision he told moses the same thing he said this is what was given to abraham i'm going to take you to a land flowing [05:45] with milk and honey was the promise we got levi kohath amram and moses fourth [05:52] generation so we end up we end up looking forward to seeing a land of milk and honey when [05:58] we left egypt he didn't tell us how long we would be in this wilderness he just said we were going we were going to a [06:03] land flowing with milk and honey so up to this point it's been a year it's been over a year and we haven't seen [06:11] anything with milk and honey right the only thing we've seen is a desert we haven't seen them when they say milk and honey we're saying that [06:17] it's a beautiful land a lot of resources in the land hey baby girl don't touch that [06:26] a lot of resources in the land right so we haven't seen that the people are waiting on that [06:34] now is our first chance to see this right in numbers chapter 13 the most [06:39] high god told moses all right pick a few people going over there go check out the land [06:45] right we haven't seen the land so far we've just been in the desert [06:50] walking around the desert this whole time tired right eating manna every darn day [06:58] right so let's see what happens this is uh numbers chapter 13 what verse [07:03] we leave off on two numbers chapter 13 verse 2 [07:13] send out men that they may search the land of canaan which i gave unto the which i give unto the children of israel [07:19] of every tribe of their father shall you send a man everyone a ruler among them so now he told him he said you're going [07:24] to pick one person from each crime and it has to be a ruler so in other words it has to be somebody [07:30] with authority in that tribe so remember we talked about the tribes which are the 12 sons of israel [07:37] one of the sons levi was divided amongst all right according to the the uh the word [07:45] that um jacob spoke on his son then you have another son [07:51] that was divided into two right and that would be joseph who was divided into ephraim and manasseh so if [07:58] you do that you work out with 12 separate tribes right keep going [08:05] and moses by the commandment of the lord sent them from the wilderness of paran all those men heads of the children of [08:11] israel these were their names the of the tribe of reuben shamir the son of [08:16] zacchara right so right now it goes through each of the tribes and the individual that was chosen to go through [08:23] right keep jumping down uh where i won't jump on down past that to where they actually go these are the names of the [08:29] men which moses sent to spot the land and moses called oshaya the son of nun [08:35] yehoshua and moses sent them to spy out the land of canaan and said unto them get you up [08:42] this way southward and go into the mountain and see the land what it is and the [08:48] people that dwell there whether they be strong or weak fewer many and what the land is that they dwell in [08:54] whether it be good or bad and what cities they be that they dwell in whether the tents or whether intense or [09:00] in strongholds and what the land is whether it be fat or lean whether there be wood therein or not and be of good [09:08] courage and bring of the fruit of the land now the time was a time for first ripe grapes so they went up and searched the [09:15] land from the wilderness of zen unto rehab as men come to hamath right so [09:20] they went into the land they entered at the saw the the southern piece of the land right so they went up to go into it [09:27] now they're looking for what's good in there is it good is it bad you know i'm saying what do they have what type of resources can we deal with is it nice [09:34] be looking at whether the land is fat early in other words is it rich with resources is it a lot of stuff [09:52] or is it nothing is it a barren place is it like a desert in there right so whether it's fat or lean whether it be [09:58] good or bad whether it's good or bad the land right there is the land good or bad [10:03] right is it good land or bad land watch this what cities they be that they dwell in whether in tents or in strongholds [10:09] right are the cities when you look at the cities is it a bunch of cities with tents [10:15] or they got brick walls that's covering them up right is it tents or strongholds keep going [10:22] whether it be wood or not whether it be a good and be of good courage and bring the fruit of the land [10:29] now the time was the time of the first ripe grapes so they went up and searched the land from the wilderness of zen unto [10:34] rehab as men come to hameth and they ascended by the south and came [10:40] unto hebron where a hymen she shai and talmai the children of anac [10:46] were now hebron was built seven years before zoan in egypt and they came unto the brook of eshkol [10:53] and cut down from their branch with one cluster of grapes and they buried between two upon a staff and they [10:59] brought up the pomegranates and of the figs right so they start seeing stuff like oh look at this they took a cluster [11:05] so remember they're coming in as spies so when they come in they just acting like oh we just visited they're acting [11:10] like regular people right we're just visitors they don't know nothing about them right we children the israel it [11:16] ain't like we've been on the map don't nobody know who we are so we just walking around just like we just spies but we act like we just regular people [11:23] so we just walk in oh look at them grapes take some of them great because remember he told them take some of the stuff and [11:29] bring it back they took the grapes they took some pomegranates they see some food there they see some stuff that's [11:34] how they can prove oh this is good land right watch this [11:39] and the place was called the brook of eshkol because of the cluster of grapes which the children of israel cut down from there and they returned from [11:46] searching the land after 40 days right so they was there 40 days it's a long time it's over a month they spent the [11:52] time in the land and they searched it out so they came back after 40 days whatever and they went and came to moses and to aaron and [11:59] to all the congregation of the children of israel unto the wilderness of paran to kadesh and brought back word unto [12:05] them and unto all the congregation and showed them the fruit of the land and they told him and said we came into [12:11] the land where you sent us and surely it flows with milk and honey there is and this is the fruit of it [12:17] nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land and the cities are walled and very great and moreover we [12:22] saw the children of anac there so who are the children that ain't giants these were the giants so y'all [12:30] remember we talked about giants way before when we talked about genesis and noah right [12:35] when the flood came part of that part of that uh that scenario there is you had giants and the [12:41] giants were a product of angels coming down and they started to marry the women [12:47] right and so since angels married the women when they had children their children were called men of renown right [12:54] they were they were they were different right and some of them ended up the descendants of some of those children [12:59] ended up being giants right so these giants these people that came from [13:05] the giants right they're in this land and so when we went over there although we were [13:10] supposed to only be looking at the land and how good the land is and then the strongholds right did the people live in [13:18] tents or were the people built up or surrounded by brick that's the only thing we're supposed to be looking at when we saw the people we is looking [13:25] like watch this watch what they say the amalekites dwell in the land in the south and the hittites and the jebusites [13:31] and the amorites dwell in the mountains and the canaanites dwell by the sea and by the coast of jordan [13:37] and caleb stealed the people before moses and said let us go up at once and possess it for we are well able to [13:44] overcome it right so now the you got you got to look at the numbers right they sent one for each [13:50] tribe so that would mean how many went [13:56] 12 right so 12 would have gone right now you have caleb is like nah man we [14:03] can go up there we could take it that means the other we know it's 10 but if we only know about a uh caleb there's [14:10] one more joshua who's another one that that is willing to go they're not afraid [14:15] the other ten are afraid because they see that all these people that they up [14:20] against are giants they say that they look like it's like [14:26] the way we look at grasshoppers is how they look at us that's that's the way they pitched it to lift a finger in egypt we didn't have to fight one person when we got out of egypt [15:49] they just let us go because the most i got hit him with plagues so now the most like god said we're [15:55] going through a lamb with milk and honey with gosh garnet there's some darn milk and there's some dark honey in this land let's get it that's how caleb is [16:02] thinking watch this that's not normal at all i want y'all to understand what caleb is doing right now is not normal nine times out of ten we [16:09] would have been one of the ones looking at man some giants over there right caleb got the spirit of the most hot god [16:16] in them and it shows in his action that's the only way you know that you working with the spirit [16:22] only because it's showing you that you can't just say in your mind like man i feel like i got this like oh i feel like [16:28] oh i kind of feel the spirit you know that kind of feel like i got the spear right now you can't do that a lot of people do it but they ain't an [16:35] appropriate way to see it the only way you see it in your action you mess around god's spirit you won't even know it [16:41] right the only way you know is if you know the book and the only reason you know it because you know the book is because your your [16:46] life your actions your behavior your thoughts all that starts to line up with what the book say it is [16:52] right so you look at caleb and caleb just looking at him like man the most like god said we can get it we can get it [16:58] right watch this and caleb steal the people before moses [17:04] said so he's still the people so you got to understand it's 12 people that go out there right [17:10] they come back they talking to a million plus people right so if they come back remember the [17:17] reason though that we left egypt is for what reason come on y'all got to be sharp why did we leave we just talked about it [17:25] where are we going when we left egypt a lamb with milk and honey that's the [17:31] reason that we left it's been a year we ain't seen no darn milk we ain't seen no darn honey [17:37] right now it's time to scope out the land everybody can't go though only only 12 [17:42] people can go so the 12 go we waiting 40 days because we can't wait for them to get back because you got to imagine this [17:49] is exciting for us we've been out here in the desert walking around now finally we get to see [17:56] about the milk and honey can't wait for these boys to come back and tell me what it's like [18:01] because we're almost there now we've been waiting remember when we left egypt we thought it'd be maybe a week [18:06] a couple weeks maybe a month or two and we'd be there no now you know we're in our second year now [18:13] it's been over a year so we anticipating this stuff [18:19] it feels close go spy out the land okay they come back now they come back and they come back [18:25] saying nah it's nice man i think that's a good land right there but there's some giants [18:31] and then boys gonna work our butts if we try to go over there how do you think that makes people feel [18:38] now they're scared we've been waiting anxiously we ready to go right ready to go into the land [18:44] and then they come back with this report like nah man ain't gonna be as easy as we thought it was gonna be not everybody [18:50] gets but the men that went up with him said we'd be not able to go up against the people for they are stronger than we [19:07] right either no man that ain't arguing with caleb in front of the people caleb there's only two that believe we could take it so how many is left [19:31] 10 so that's 10 people against one [19:38] how that's gonna look if you don't know better if you you can't tell who right or who wrong but you see ten people and [19:44] you see one person who who you gonna believe nine times out of ten we gonna believe the ten people we gonna go with the [19:50] majority right that's why the hole we got uh grab exodus chapter 25. [19:57] this exodus chapter 25 you can give me verse one we'll read on down [20:03] i think what i want is like verse four but it's exodus chapter 25 verse 1 [20:10] [Music] [20:17] you got to understand how how wise and informed this law is you know there's law give us information that if we take [20:24] and we apply it to our lives man we won't make a wrong turn if we take it and we understand that we [20:30] understand the principles behind this law man we won't make a bad step this law protector you remember we a [20:37] couple uh uh for uh the first day of unleavened bread we put it up on the board where we showed that path you know [20:44] i'm saying you had that path and then you put the uh you know i'm saying we put the laws i mean the uh the you know i'm saying the sins around [20:50] the path going behind you you know what i'm saying and you know i'm saying the fruits of the spirit moving forward [20:56] the law is even tighter than that you know i'm saying i'm gonna do another one just so we can see where the law fit [21:01] and all that the law make it even tighter than that your path would be so straight if you keep that law [21:08] right because it restrains you even more right it informs you even more it gives [21:13] you even more direction right keep going watch this this is uh exodus chapter 25 verse one [21:19] watch the book set and the lord speaking to moses saying speak to the children of israel that they bring me an offering of [21:25] every man that gives it willingly and is in his heart you shall take my offering [21:30] and this is the offering which you shall take of them that's 25 yeah uh what i want 23 23 maybe [21:37] 123 is exodus chapter 23 verse one [21:45] thou shall not raise a false report but not your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness uh-huh you shall [21:52] not follow a multitude to do evil you should not what follow a multitude to do evil he said you shall not follow a [21:59] multitude to do evil what does that mean [22:08] if there's 10 verses 1 don't go with the 10 just because it's 10. [22:15] right that's in our law multitude means like a lot of people yeah motu means a lot yeah [22:20] there's a lot of folks right so that's in our law it's saying just because there's a lot of people saying [22:25] something don't just go with it just because you gotta make sure it's right because if you end up following them and [22:31] they doing evil that's a sin for us right let's jump back over [22:37] here's numbers chapter 13 where we leave off at uh 31. it's numbers chapter 13 verse 31. [22:44] what the book say but the men that went up with him said we be not able to go up against the people for they are stronger [22:49] than we and they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched into the children of israel saying the land [22:55] through which we have gone to search it is a land that eats up the inhabitants thereof and all the people that we saw [23:03] all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature they're giants and there we saw the giants the sons of anak [23:10] which came which come of the giants and we were in our own site as grasshoppers and so we were in their sight [23:22] that's the end of it yeah watch it this is uh this is a number chapter 14. watch what happened now and all the [23:27] congregation lifted up their voice and cried and the people wept that night right why do you think the people cried and started weeping because i think [23:34] they're gonna get killed we was excited about this this is what we've been waiting for we've been [23:39] sitting you got a mat we've been sitting here walking around in the desert [23:44] listening to moses tell us laws everybody talking about what this thing might end up being we get tired and [23:51] thirsty and complain about being out here because we've been out here so long moses get us water and it make us feel [23:57] cool for a little bit longer then we get hungry and give us manna then we get [24:02] hungry again and give us quail and we're sitting out here and we try to make it home out here but this just really ain't [24:08] home it's a desert we outside every day we living in tents [24:14] right i want to go somewhere that's home yes we left egypt and that's cool but this [24:19] ain't really better than egypt right the reality is we was in egypt but [24:25] what we're doing right now walking around the desert is not better than what we had in egypt the only reason we [24:30] out here is because we were told that we going to a land of milk and honey it's been over a year and we haven't got [24:36] there yet now we finally get a chance to hear what this thing is like and they tell us we're not gonna be able to do it [24:44] that's sad for us so we break out and we start crying now we don't believe we'll be able to do this watch what happens [24:52] and all the children of israel murmured against moses and against aaron and the whole congregation said unto them [24:58] i wish to god that we had died in the land of egypt or wish to god that we had died in the [25:04] wilderness and why has the lord brought us unto this land to fall by the sword that our [25:10] wives and our children should be a prey where it not better for us to return to egypt [25:15] and they said one to another let us make a captain and let us return into egypt and moses and aaron fell on their faces [25:21] before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of israel and joshua the son of nun and caleb the [25:27] son of jafana which were of them that touched the land ripped their clothes and they spake unto all the company of [25:32] the children of israel saying the land which we passed through to search it is an exceedingly good land right so now [25:39] yahushua the son of nun and caleb they came back and they said listen we can do [25:45] this y'all it was a good land he they see all the people crying the people setting up they about ready to get a [25:51] pick a captain to take him back to egypt because again like i said the what [25:56] they're dealing with in the wilderness is not better than egypt so when they mind if we can't go into that land [26:04] i'm definitely not staying here i'm just not doing it it might be better for us to go back to [26:10] egypt let's see keep going watch this if the lord delights in us then he will [26:16] bring us into this land and give it to us a land that flows with milk and honey only rebel not against the lord neither [26:23] fear the people of the land for they are bred for us their defense is departed from them and the lord is with us fear [26:29] them not but all the congregation they stone them with stones right so now they looked at [26:35] them and they said because you have to think about this there are [26:40] millions of people at least a million people right [26:46] and there's only two of those people that's saying let's go [26:54] you know how that feels you're trying to set us up [27:00] so they said stoner kill them right if they're trying to set us up [27:05] they trying to take us over there and they know that we can't win this we need to kill e boy so there's about to pick [27:11] up stones to get them but watch what happened the lord said unto moses how long will this people provoke me [27:17] and how long will it be but all the congregation bailed stoned them with stones and the glory of the [27:23] lord appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of israel right so imagine this right [27:28] just just so y'all can see the scene you got two people standing right here in front of all the people trying to talk to as many people as they can right the [27:35] two people right here surrounded by the the general folks right so all the people are surrounding them right so the [27:41] people two people start talking like no we can do that everybody else is sad like what are y'all talking about right [27:48] then they get mad that they even telling us that we could do it when we all in our mind know that we can't so we all pick up stones everybody just [27:55] start picking up stones about to about to throw them at the people and kill them right at the two so they bout to [28:00] pick those souls to kill em then right when they're about to just imagine right when that first stone about to be thrown the glory of the most high god just fill [28:07] up everywhere you can just see clouds and smoke just start filling up in this special when you look at it ain't nothing like you've seen before why [28:13] watch what happened next and the lord said unto moses how long will this people provoke me how long [28:19] will it be heir that they believe will it be air they believe me for all the signs which i have showed among them [28:26] i will smite them with the pestilence and disinherit them and will make up the greater nation and the mightier than [28:31] they right so he told moses or they bout to kill e boy for telling them the truth so he he stopped it from [28:38] happening by by creating a little bit of shock then he only talked talk to moses he looked like how long i'm going to [28:43] deal with this i'll tell you what i'm going to kill these boys with the pestilence and i'm going to make a greater nation out of [28:49] you talking about moses moses you're going to have some kids and we're going to rebuild this whole thing [28:55] a million plus just like this we gonna we gonna rebuild this whole thing right [29:01] let's see what moses say though and moses said unto the lord then the egyptians shall hear it for you brought [29:06] us for you brought up this people in in your might from among them and they will [29:11] tell it to the inhabitants of this land for they have heard that you lord are among this people and that you lord are [29:19] seen face to face and that they in that your cloud stands over them and that you [29:24] go before them by day by daytime and a pillar of a cloud and a pillar of fire [29:30] by night now if you shall kill all these people as one man then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak [29:36] saying it's because yahuwah was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore unto them therefore he has [29:42] killed them in the wilderness and now i beg thee let the power of my lord be great according as thou has [29:48] spoken saying the lord is long-suffering and great and of great mercy forgiving [29:53] iniquity and transgression and by no means clearing the guilty visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the [29:59] children unto the third and fourth generation right so notice how moses did this it's very important that we are we [30:05] don't read that again it's very important that we understand how moses proposes to the most high god the most [30:10] high god he proposed something first he said you know what i'm gonna kill all these boys [30:16] and i'm just gonna take you moses you're gonna have a few more kids and we gonna make a better nation than what [30:22] we're dealing with right now straight from you right so in other words we're gonna start all the way over we're gonna [30:29] rebuild this thing up the right way and we're just gonna do it again and i'm still keeping my problems around because [30:34] he is son of abraham right so now that's what god proposed moses came back like [30:41] hold on because if you kill all these people [30:46] now all the people in the egypt is going to be like well the most high god took him from [30:52] egypt but he wasn't able to bring him into the promised land god failed god didn't have [30:57] enough strength he's like man god we know that ain't true but [31:03] that's what all these other people gonna think you know god ain't gonna let his name be fully like that [31:08] they gonna start worshipping other gods because they're gonna be thinking like oh no you can't rely on that guy that guy might just take you out of somewhere [31:14] and then leave you stranded because he ain't got the power to follow all the way through so moses appealed to god's [31:20] glory that's the first thing he looked at like oh god he could do that but i mean that thing might be rough on your [31:26] name you know i'm saying then after that they're gonna tarnish your reputation to these streets yeah then after that he [31:31] came back to him and he said now why don't you just let these boys off a little bit might read it again watch [31:38] this i beseech thee let the power of my lord [31:44] be great according to as you have spoken saying the lord is long suffering right great mercy let let the boy off right [31:51] you said you was merciful when he tell us that when he brought us out of egypt and exited listen exodus i [31:58] think it's 34 he told us this man right so moses is using [32:05] the most high god's own words to support the a different position [32:11] right he's and now listen why don't you do like you said you said you would be [32:17] long suffering and merciful and forgiving iniquity and transgressions to thousands [32:24] right keep going watch this and by no means clearing the guilty visiting the iniquity of the fathers [32:31] upon the children to the third and fourth generation pardon i beg thee the iniquity of this [32:37] people according to the greatness of your mercy and as you have forgiven this people from egypt even until now [32:43] and the lord said i have pardoned according to your word but as truly as i live all the earth [32:49] shall be filled with the glory of you because all those men which have seen my glory and my miracles which i did in [32:56] egypt and in the wilderness and they have tempted me now these ten times and whatever happened even those men that did bring up an evil [41:41] report upon the land died by the plague before before yahuwah right so they all got sick and died right there in front [41:48] of not believe because they don't see these miracles happen they don't see things [42:45] happening they don't see people talking to god they don't see things being predicted right that makes god distant [42:52] but him being distant means that we all make mistakes and when we make mistakes guess what [42:58] he ain't going to come out and have the ground swallow us up like we're going to read about lot of this stuff will happen again so we have to train our brains to not be like [43:18] our ancestors because our ancestors were very relaxed because the most high god had not been close to him then when he [43:24] got close they continued to be laxed we have to make sure that we're disciplined now so that when the man [43:30] come and he get close to us we just walk in line it's edification for us rather than [43:36] punishment keep going [43:42] even those men that did bring up an evil reporter in the land died by the plague before yahuwah but yahooshua the son of [43:48] nun and caleb the son of jafana which were of the men that went to search the land live still and moses told these [43:55] sayings unto all the children of israel and the people mourned greatly and they rose up early in the morning and got [44:01] them up into the top of the mountain saying look we'd be here and we will go up we will go into the place which the [44:07] lord has promised for we have sinned and moses said why now do you transgress the commandment of the of yahuwah but it [44:13] shall not prosper do not go up for the lord is not among you that you be not [44:19] smitten before your enemies you can bring with it you know an unleavened bread that you can bring with [47:53] it accidentally yeah all the snare so it's much like what we read before except now he's telling them you can [47:59] also bring additional stuff right you could do it bring you remember we had the meat offering which is really a food [48:04] offering where you'll bring the grain so it's a lot more of the grain he's
