anything that you do get whether it be a gift of tongues a gift of Prophecy or [00:54] any Supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against you in the day of judgment with bayasha took over he killed nadab and [02:01] jeroboam according to the prophecy of the most high God then his son Eli Ela [02:06] took over but then zimmery came and zimmery killed him and killed bayasha [02:12] and everybody according to a similar prophecy of God so just like the one of jeroboam because bayasha you know I'm [02:18] saying made things worse then after that Tim Nye and Omri well first uh tip and I [02:25] tried to take it from gymra you know what I'm saying but uh Tim tip nine Omri [02:30] had to battle it out Omri ended up taking it all and then remember he built up a city who remembers what that city [02:37] was called let's see if we can look at it it was Samaria right let me see so this [02:44] was the city named it up to Schumer oh sorry I passed shelter yeah here here at the city Samaria right here so [02:51] huh none but yeah so he built up uh Samaria and that's the kingdom that's [02:57] important because we're gonna see eventually in the book that many of the [03:04] Kings stay in Samaria and then it's going to get to the point where Samaria is just [03:10] recognized as representative of all of the northern tribes so Samaria will be the northern Jerusalem like kind of like [03:16] how Jerusalem is in the South that's where Samaria is in the north yeah like a capital you know I'm saying like the capital of the northern tribes right so [03:24] let's recap real quick right when we say Northern tribes we are talking about [03:29] these tribes right you got Ephraim Reuben Simeon issachars Zebulon Dan [03:36] Asher Gad naftali Manasseh that's generally the northern tribes and then [03:43] Judah Benjamin Levi generally the southern tribes now of course we know [03:48] that after jeroboam took over the northern tribes there were some people that went down to be in the southern [03:55] tribes right and in although I can't think anywhere where it's documented is likely some people from Benjamin Judah [04:02] and Levi who also went up to the northern tribes to live right because we all one big family people intermix and [04:08] all that but generally this is kind of how things stand okay [04:14] so um we then left off with the beginning of Ahab right Ahab is omri's son he was [04:23] just born right and after just being born he uh he [04:30] uh began became king or not just born rather but he uh he just took over the kingdom [04:35] um and so now we're gonna kind of get into a little bit of ahab's life just a tad bit of it and then we're gonna go [04:41] jump back over to the kings of Judah because remember all of Reign Over Israel and Ahab the son of [06:43] Amari reigned over Israel and Samaria 22 years and they have this on the bomb right they had evil in the sight of [06:48] yahuwah above all that were before him right so he did Evil above all that were before him right so Jared Bowen was bad [06:56] you know what I'm saying nadab was bad bayashi took it a little further he was bad his son tried to [07:24] the son of knee back but then what he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Isabel King of the zydonians and went [07:31] and served they all and worshiped him right so now you gotta look at you gotta look at where uh where she was from so [07:39] if you look at it let me put it back on the screen here she was from decided [07:45] and then like by Damascus yeah way up North right so way up here she was from silent [07:53] right so he took her of another Nation if you remember David was going to war with them people those are the ones that [08:00] gave David some of the most trouble Book of Joshua after they tore down Jericho right so it's just kind of [09:18] tying that in for us together so that should be the end of chapter right all right so that's the beginning of Ahab AI [09:25] we're gonna read a lot about Ahab right but I wanted to make sure we covered that now we're going to learn a little [09:30] bit about Jehoshaphat let's go to um First Chronicles second chronicles [09:37] rather uh Second Chronicles uh 17. [09:42] I think that's what I want yes generally what we'll see is the the [09:49] book of Kings will kind of cover you know I'm saying the Kings of Israel [09:55] and the kings of Judah and the Book of Chronicles gonna mostly focus on the kings of Judah [10:02] so when we want to learn a little bit more about the kings of Judah we have to go to uh we have to go to Chronicles [10:10] um so this is a second Chronicles chapter 17 verse 1. in Jehoshaphat his [10:16] son reigned in his stead and strengthened himself against Israel right so this is talking about asa's son [10:22] all right so Ace's son name is Jehoshaphat [10:29] all right so now we're about here with Jehoshaphat let's see what he got [10:39] he plays forces in all defense cities of Judah and said garrisons in the land of [10:44] Judah and in the cities of Ephraim which ASA his father had taken [10:49] and the Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the first ways of his father David and sought not to undo [10:56] bayalum he saw what he saw not unto bayout right so you can see how T just noticed [11:03] brother T where he asked the question he's like you know I'm saying didn't aab wasn't Ahab the first one to bring you [11:09] know I'm saying they all there well they all was already there right but we gonna see from King Ahab that he take it up a [11:16] notch you know what I'm saying he take it up or not he gonna make it almost like like this is just a normal thing to do right but when it starts off it's [11:23] just something that's around it's something that seeped into to the traditions of our people and uh [11:29] Jehoshaphat wasn't going for it right so that's the difference their rain they they have their Kingdom at the same time [11:35] if you were to look at the board they Kingdom Ahab and Joseph at the same time right they almost live the same amount [11:42] of time so in doing that you can see up north we starting to go we gonna learn [11:48] that they starting to go through bayal right they trying to they trying to worship a guy called bayal right [11:53] Jehoshaphat most like God mess with him because he was like you know what you did it just like you did it just like [11:59] your great great great great granddaddy you know what I'm saying you ain't looking for no other stuff you only looking for the most high God right so [12:05] the most high God respected that [12:30] what I'm saying it's our laws are tied directly to how our country is run [12:38] so you can't look at it like religion it's not like it's not like something that somebody chose to to walk into and [12:45] say okay I'm gonna believe that it's like no you were born in this right and this is what governor just like you [12:51] walking outside to you know I'm saying don't jaywalk or walking outside and don't litter and you know I'm saying [12:57] Drive the speed limit and all those things like that has nothing to do with what you believe you know what I'm [13:03] saying you that's just what you got to do or you're gonna get a ticket and it's the same thing with what we have right [13:09] it wasn't like these people woke up like I believe in God or I don't believe in God it doesn't matter I live in the the [13:18] country of Israel or I live in the country of Judah and while I'm in this country if I don't keep the Sabbath I [13:25] might be stoned right and so that was just the mindset of our people we have to kind of like [13:31] put ourselves in that mindset that this is legal right then you got to look at [13:36] all these other gods think of them as like like sports teams [13:42] right you're from a certain area you then have this God that's popular [13:49] and maybe I'm not from that area but I got a friend that's from that area you know what I'm saying so although I'm [13:55] from L.A I'm supposed to like the Lakers but I got this friend that's from New Jersey [14:01] and he always had me rooting for the Nets then they moved to Brooklyn so now I'm a Brooklyn Nets fan [14:08] right that's kind of how it might happen you know although I'm in LA with the same thing we in Israel right but now I [14:16] get this nice pretty girl you know what I'm saying pretty girl from up North her name Jezebel [14:22] and guess what oh she a fan of they all but I love my baby [14:29] guess what when she go to the Bay all games I'm gonna go to the Bay all games with [14:35] him except the games is like a temple right and so you start to worship these things so it's like think of how people [14:41] you know have sports teams and how much they care about their sports teams and how much they yums and all that stuff [14:47] think about it like that and that's kind of how How the Gods worked you know what I'm saying like you had your team you [14:54] ride with your team sometimes you got two teams you know then sometimes you got three teams that you like right but [15:01] you that that's yo you wear the Jersey you do whatever you want to do it's kind of like that that's kind of how these [15:06] people kind of saw it and that's what they had to kind of deal with back and forth back and forth so the problem is our law would would prescribe that we [15:14] can't have no other guys except for the most high God but think of the most high God think of [15:20] that team it ain't got no logo it ain't got no Jersey you know what I'm [15:26] saying like our team ain't got nothing that you could just show the other teams the other the other guys had Idols right [15:33] they had these temples that you can go to you can set up a temple anywhere right it's a little more loose you set [15:40] up high places anywhere Our God no you got to go to Jerusalem you know what I'm saying even if you [15:46] wanted to make an altar it got to be an altar that's a pure Stone so nothing's really attractive about it you know what [15:52] I'm saying ain't nothing like these other guys you build an altar on the Grove you put all these plants by it [15:57] light a bunch of candles on there all that stuff that's attractive it's like oh look at that make it look nice you [16:04] ever seen somebody ever seen like one of these Christian people you walk inside of their house and they you know I'm saying they got like maybe somebody that [16:09] died in their family the Mexicans do it a lot you know what I'm saying You Gotta Die in the family they set up a whole little Shrine in the corner a bunch of [16:16] candles and pictures of them all that that stuff is attractive you look at that like wow look at that all the [16:22] lights lighting up over there on that person picture right whereas us we can't do nothing like that [16:28] that's not attractive to people right that's why you see these churches they have all the music playing because [16:34] a lot of it is about attracting people you look it up we don't play no darn music ain't nothing wrong with playing [16:40] music by the way you know what I'm saying but we don't play no darn music we get right to the word where the words not a track going through the book [16:47] sister Sharon she she uh she posted something on Facebook like a little while ago you know what I'm saying and [16:53] she that uh I think the post is something about about um I don't know I think it was something [16:59] about people leaving the church I think it's like yeah as anybody actually left the church or whatever it didn't go back [17:04] or something like that and so you know I'm saying she posted it and you see other people kind of you know I'm saying [17:10] comment and everything but one thing she said she's like yeah you know I'm saying at this point you know I'm saying now I [17:15] just kind of read the book and then we cover it you know what I'm saying cover to cover and we just go through the book [17:22] you know I'm saying and it's like even as she posts that that's not something that's gonna make people look at that be [17:28] like oh yeah I need to do what you're doing because it's not a track that's boring you just reading the book you [17:34] know you do reading it covering it cover that boy nah you know what you need you need somebody to jump up here and tell you yeah so let's read about how [17:41] you know I mean David slay Goliath with one rock [17:47] he took the Rock and he spun it ain't [17:52] Goliath clearing the forehead well I tell you there's the Goliath of your finances [17:59] and it's coming against you today in God you know what I'm saying and they get to doing all this now it's attractive [18:05] because now it's about me it ain't about David no more it ain't about God it [18:10] ain't about what God doing for us it ain't about what I need to do to submit myself it becomes about me and what I [18:16] could do better and how and how I can conquer my finances with this metaphorical Rock and somehow now all [18:24] the challenges and financial challenges I have are dead and gone and I'm believing God for that right now it [18:29] gives me this hope but it's not hope in the book it's not hoping what God want me to have hope in is hoping The [18:36] Superficial things right and that's that's what sets what we do apart from everybody else it's not [18:43] going to be attractive right it's not going it's not gonna be you gotta want it because you love God [18:49] you gotta want it because you the most high God is pulling you right A lot of people get caught up in a lot of other [18:56] stuff pulling us we get to lying to our friends trying to get them to come to church right we get to trying to compete [19:03] you see a lot of these churches try to compete with with the social life you know what I'm saying they used to do [19:08] vacation bible study you know what I'm talking about so they attract kids by luring a man to vacant [19:15] you know we attract our kids with sit your butt down you can read sit your butt down here and guess what you come [19:21] if you want to come and you don't somebody kill you you ain't gonna Joy you just stuck with it that's just the cars are the most I got dealt with you [19:27] you know what I'm saying you stuck with you having to be my son yeah I'm saying but the other kids you come if you want to come you don't if you don't [19:33] right but we're not tricking nobody to get here we're not trying to entice you because that what happens is you might [19:39] fall in love with what you've been enticed with a lot of people fall in love with the church experience but they never give [19:45] they never fall in love with the most high God in his word right and if that's not the if that's not the basis of the [19:52] agreement then it's all set up wrong it's no different than Worship in Bay all on the Grove [19:57] right the only difference is you watch there's no different than worship than a golden calf in in in uh from jeroboam [20:05] and uh Bethel right if you're gonna worship God for the wrong reasons [20:10] right so that's what we try to do we try to come in here and we try to make sure that we set everything out plainly we [20:16] ain't trying to attract nobody based off of nothing but the truth and if the truth gets you here and the truth make [20:22] you stay then praise the most high God and guess what praise the most I got if your butt don't [20:28] stay too right either way God is right either way the right thing happened and [20:35] you know how I know that because I know we teach the right thing that's it you know what I'm saying you teach it right you teach what the book [20:41] say you stay close to the book if we make a mistake guess what the book being read [20:47] we gotta correct it because the book don't correct us right but what we're not gonna do is [20:53] we're not about to sit here and make up a whole bunch of stuff tap dance from people and make them feel good about themselves even though they should [20:59] we ought to feel like Sinners if we Ascender we ought to feel like we're going to hell we're going to hell right [21:04] ain't no salvation and ain't no salvation and feeling like you righteous and you're really a sinner [21:10] there's no way to correct if I feel right there's no way to correct me if I feel right but I'm actually wrong [21:17] I'm driving down the wrong direction of the road and everybody and everybody around me said no you on the right you're on the right path you're going [21:23] the right way why would I have any reason to turn if everybody around me telling me I'm going [21:28] the right way but really I'm going to head on to a truck [21:33] right only way to say people to tell them [21:39] where they are let's see let's uh let's keep going [21:45] and the Lord was with Jehoshaphat because he walked in the first ways of his father David and sought not unto Bay [21:51] Island but salt yahuwah God of his father and walked in his Commandments and not after [21:56] the doings of Israel therefore the Lord established the kingdom in his hand and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat [22:02] presence and he had riches in honor and abundance right so Jehoshaphat had riches and he had honor and it was in [22:09] abundance so I mean the people messed with right that's what but that's what it [22:14] takes the ace to have more of a hard roll Ace had to clean stuff up right he had to clean stuff up he had to [22:21] kind of start putting people in jail punishing people for doing what they weren't supposed to do it was a harder role for ASA but when you got a dad that [22:29] come before you and line everything up for you now all you got to do is just step into it [22:35] right that's what we kind of look at when we talk about with last week we kind of talked about the generational curses but [22:41] what the Bible would call it you know that's kind of how we call it but what the Bible would call is the iniquity of [22:46] the father being visited onto the kids to the third and fourth generation right but he also said that he shows [22:54] Mercy to everyone who loves him and keeps his commandment so now when you [23:00] see ASA come in and he start to clean stuff up that sets it up for jeroboam to [23:05] just step into something so now jeroboam the only choice he got to make is let me keep with it when he keeps with it now [23:12] the people has already been conditioned to respect righteousness so when they see he walk in it's a pleasurable thing [23:19] they start bringing them gifts they give them honor because he's gonna walk in that same righteousness let's see let's [23:24] keep going [23:29] and his heart was lift up in the ways of yahuwah moreover he took away the high places and Groves out of Judah that's [23:35] right also in the third year of his Reign he sent to his princes even to Ben hayal into Obadiah [23:42] and to Zechariah and to Nathaniel and to Makaya to teach in the cities of Judah [23:49] so he told he sent him to do what teach in the cities of Judah you see the difference of what we talking about [23:56] I love this because it's important to see we just went through a span of time [24:02] where you have Solomon Solomon was good everybody was straight Solomon prayed [24:07] for the people he laid a great Foundation built the temple Force man Solomon hooked us up got us off to a [24:13] good start then after after that Solomon kind of you know I'm saying he started going a different direction serving [24:18] other God setting up other stuff in the land right that's probably where they all first got introduced with a whole [24:23] bunch of other gods right then you look after that you got real boom and reborn [24:30] you know I'm saying kind of went wild at the end of his life tried to get it together right then at the rear boom then you [24:38] gotta uh advisor yeah yeah then you got to buy [24:44] them out there after real boom and advisor comes in and abaja is a mess you [24:49] know what I'm saying he don't last too too long at all he's a darn mess making a [25:34] because that's what that's what our people need right now right our people need to be commissioned [25:40] by someone with authority to say no you have to learn this and it's your job to [25:45] make sure they learn right now it's optional right ain't nobody told and commanded [25:51] like you know you got to listen to Philip every Friday on you know what I'm saying that's that's a adonaija and tabaja and told adonija Levites and [26:39] with them elishima and johoram Priests and they taught in Judah and had the book of The Law of the Lord with them [26:46] and went about Moses commanded us [27:21] this is good for the people because now that people get an understanding oh I ain't supposed to be messing with they all why is that so important right now [27:32] yeah they can get a uh Jehoshaphat could lose everything that he worked for [27:38] yeah that's one but also up north you got a king that's doing the exact [27:44] opposite and we're all Brothers like we're all cousins you know what I'm saying so that [27:50] stuff will seep out so if people aren't aware that oh no God take this serious and if they don't have a king that they [27:56] can look up to and be like oh no he follow after the most high God right this is what the law is of our country [28:02] this is what the punishments are he's letting them know these things come with judgments you get this wrong I'm the [28:09] king you gonna be punished for this stuff right he said an order in his kingdom [28:15] this stuff is very important that's happening or says keep going and the fear of yahuwah fell upon all the kingdoms of [28:21] the lands that were round about Judah so that they made no war against Jehoshaphat also some of the Philistines [28:27] brought Jehoshaphat presence in tribute silver and the Arabians brought him flocks even 7 000 and 700 Rams and 7 700 [28:36] goats in Jehoshaphat wax great exceededly and he built in Judah castles [28:42] in cities of store and he had much business in the cities of Judah and the men of War Mighty Men [28:48] of Valor were in Jerusalem and these are the numbers of them according to the house of their fathers of Judah the [28:54] captains of thousands adna the chief with him Mighty Man of Valor three hundred thousand and next to him was [29:01] yahuhanah the captain and with him 204 Square thousand [29:07] and next to him was a Messiah the Son Of zikr Who willingly offered himself unto [29:13] yahuwah and with him 200 000 mighty men are Valor and a Benjamin Elijah and a [29:19] mighty man of Valor and with him armed men with Bowens Shield 200 000 next to [29:24] him was Jehoshaphat and with him a hundred and four score a thousand ready [29:30] prepared for war these waited on the king besides those whom the king put in defense cities throughout all Judah so [29:36] now look at how much our people have grown and this time remember when we were in [29:41] the wilderness it was about five hundred thousand six hundred thousand I think men Ready for War somewhere around that [29:48] number right and now it's just that was just that was everybody that was all of Israel right [29:54] being ready for war you know I'm saying somewhere like around 600 000 or something now you get just Judah [30:03] Judah right that that we just counted off about a million men Ready for War and this is just an isolated group [30:10] right there's not even everybody and this is only in Judah [30:15] so you can see this not it's not counting the children the women it's not counting the people who don't want to go [30:21] to war the people who didn't make it you know I'm saying the people who just got married there's a whole bunch of people [30:27] that does not counting so it's a lot more of us now right it's a lot more to manage [30:33] a lot more to deal with a lot of people that got their own ideas a lot of people that don't wanna don't wanna you know [30:39] just like just like here people that don't want to follow law right just like people that speed on the [30:45] street people that try to rob people people that lie people that cheat on their taxes all this stuff it's just [30:51] people it's always going to be people that just you know I'm saying don't want to do what they supposed to do you got to deal with all those people so he's [30:57] going trying to go out and teach them and educate the public to let them know this is what's right and this is what's [31:03] wrong this is how the rules are this is how we gonna manage this this this whole [31:08] country let's see keep going [31:16] now
