[00:00] sabbath peace it's another opportunity for us to hear and learn that a word of truth as given to us by the most high god [00:07] all honor goes to the father through the son whose name is yahushua in him lies the only hope for salvation we know that [00:14] it is obtained by grace through faith not of works lest anyone should boast and give him freely as a gift to all who [00:20] obey him we understand that if you do not obey him it is made manifest or made obvious that you do not believe [00:27] in this state you should expect no good thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether it be a [00:32] gift of tongues a gift of prophecy or any supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against you [00:38] in the day of judgment with that said peace of the saints that are in the room to the saints that couldn't make it but [00:44] no peace to the wicked the only thing we say to them is repent that they might [00:50] live yeah that's right they might give all right [00:56] let's check it out this is uh this is uh isaiah chapter uh 28. [01:04] isaiah chapter 28 emmy verse 9. [01:17] whom shall he teach knowledge so the book say whom shall he teach knowledge and whom shall he make to understand [01:23] doctrine and whom shall he make to understand doctrine them that are weaned [01:28] from the milk and drawn from the breast right so he said is he gonna give it to the to the toddlers to the babies [01:34] what else for precept must be upon precept uh-huh precept upon precept uh-huh line up [01:40] online line up online here a little and they're a little okay i mean you got to be skilled to go this thing hot baby [01:45] gonna do it you got to be skilled you got to be able to put precept over here and precept over here and line from over [01:50] here and a line from over there you got to be able to put it all together he's saying how you gonna be able to put that thing together if you're just a baby [01:56] let's see forward stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to these people so he's telling the people i'm speaking to you in a way that you will [02:03] not understand that you're gonna have difficulty understanding right that's how the most high god is saying that [02:09] he's speaking to this people to whom to whom he said this is the rest where with you may cause the weary to rest [02:15] and this is the refreshing but whatever yet they would not hear but they wouldn't hear so if that for that reason because they [02:22] wouldn't hear because they wouldn't pay attention because it wasn't it wasn't something that they dedicated themselves [02:27] to and that they they hearkened on to the word of the lord was what but the word of the lord was unto them precept [02:33] upon precept precept upon precept line up online line up online so it was still something that they had to put together [02:39] and they never learned how to put it together because the most our guys spoke to them in a way that they didn't understand and they didn't hear them in [02:45] other words they didn't pay attention to it they didn't stay with it they didn't stick with it they didn't hear them so [02:50] the word remained as a puzzle to them something that they had to put together that they were unskilled in putting it [02:55] together because they were just babies and they never grew out of that baby state right this is how the book is set up [03:01] this is the expectation that the most hot guys set for us so when we go through this book this this time around [03:06] usually usually we do a whole bunch of jumping around anybody who've been been around for a little bit we do a lot of [03:11] jumping around right but this time we're not we're going to get a very solid foundation we're going to go through we [03:17] went through all the genesis read just about every every word in genesis right and we're going to do the same thing in [03:23] exodus for the most part we're going to read just about everything or teach on just about everything on every page but [03:30] it's important to understand the reason that we do this is so that we develop in the most high god even the things [03:36] that we thought we couldn't understand we want to be able to develop those things that way we can start putting it [03:41] together we can start putting the puzzle pieces together otherwise when we're doing all this jumping around and we we [03:46] uh we're putting a little bit of line here a little bit of precept there and putting it all together for everybody [03:52] sometimes y'all get lost because you guys are unskilled in the word right you don't have enough of a foundation in the [03:58] word to be able to put it all together and move and keep up with it so it can get confusing so that's why this time [04:03] we're taking it slow we're going to read through all of the book and we're going to make sure that we have a strong foundation of understanding and then [04:10] from there then we'll start jumping around right then we'll start we'll start putting [04:15] everything together once we get to the new testament i think then we'll be able to start putting stuff back together right [04:21] so let's jump over back over where we left off last week i feel like we left off at about exodus chapter 7 or chapter [04:28] 6. probably chapter 6. [04:35] [Music] we got some stuff coming now [04:44] you said chapter six where we leave off last week let me see [04:53] uh 6 16. so let's pick up at exodus chapter 6 verse 16. what should the book say [05:00] and these are the names of the sons of levi according to their generations gershon kohath and mararai and the years of the [05:07] life of levi were 137 years sons of gershon libny shemai according to their [05:13] families the sons of kohath amram and izhar in hebron okay and uzl [05:19] in the years of the life of kohath were 133 years and the sons of mararai [05:24] mahalai and mushi these are the families of levi according to their generations [05:30] and amram took him jochebed his father's sister to wife and she bore him aaron and moses [05:42] and the years of the life of amram were 137 years and the sons of ishar korah and nephi [05:50] and zikrai and the sons of uzl mishael and else el zafon in zithree and aaron [05:57] took him elishaba daughter of aminadab sister of naishon to wife [06:02] and she bare him nadab and the bahu eleazar and itamar and the sons of korra [06:07] asher and elkanah and abbay say abisav these are the fathers these are the thing we already know is moses is what levi moses is a levite he came from levi [06:39] we know that levi was the third son out of uh leia [06:44] which is jacob's first wife right so these are all the things that we went over previously but it's all [06:50] starting to come together here starting starting to kind of make sense and we're going to see that it makes even more sense as we go so now moses who most [06:57] people most of us we know the story of moses we know what moses is going to end up being moses is from levi [07:05] right keep going watch this these are that aaron and moses to whom [07:10] the lord said bring out the children of israel from the land of egypt according to their families right so remember last [07:15] week moses came up on the burning bush the bush started speaking to moses found [07:21] out it was the most high god moses was like now i don't know if i'm the right guy for this mosaic god gave him many [07:27] signs and information to try to convince them that he is the right one for it but ultimately moses said look i'm not [07:33] eloquent in speech i don't know if i'm the one i don't know if it's appropriate for me to be doing this why don't you go [07:38] find somebody that got better speech most like i try to convince him one more time then all of a sudden most of god [07:43] gets frustrated right so after that y'all say you know what aaron is on his way to [07:48] meet you he can be the one that speaks matter of fact you'll be like a god to aaron [07:54] right and he'll be your mouthpiece in other words he'll be like a prophet to you right so that's how everything lined up [08:01] so that's why here is telling you about moses and aaron because they are brothers [08:07] right they come from the same place both of them levi but you're going to see that the story about aaron develops even [08:13] further right because aaron stood in the position that he stood next to moses [08:18] the most high god gave him a position that was great as well and we're going to learn about that in the coming [08:24] chapters keep going what chapter is this uh we're still on six okay [08:32] these are that aaron and moses to whom the lord said bring out the children of israel from the land of egypt according [08:38] to their armies these are they which spake the pharaoh king of egypt to bring out the children of israel from egypt these are that [08:44] aaron and moses moses and aaron and it came to pass on the day when the lord spake unto moses in the land of [08:51] egypt that the lord spoke unto moses saying i am yahuwah speak unto pharaoh king of egypt all that i shall say unto [08:57] you and moses said before yahuwah behold i am of circumcised lips and how shall [09:02] pharaoh hearken to me and the lord said to aaron lord said to moses see i have made thee a god of [09:09] pharaoh and aaron your brother shall be your prophet you shall speak all that i command thee and aaron thy brother shall speak unto [09:15] pharaoh that he send the children of israel out of his land so now moses is like a god import it's [09:23] important that we notice that about moses the most high god has not said this about anyone else [09:30] right moses will be like a god to aaron and aaron shall be his prophet [09:37] right keep going [09:44] i have made thee a god unto pharaoh the god to pharaoh and so now he's a god to pharaoh keep going and aaron thy brother [09:51] shall be thy prophet uh-huh thou shalt speak all that i command thee and and thy brother shall speak unto [09:56] pharaoh that he send the children of israel out of his land and i will harden pharaoh's heart and multiply my signs [10:02] and my wonders in the land of egypt but pharaoh shall not hearken unto you that i may lay my hand upon egypt and bring [10:08] forth my armies so now he's telling them he's like listen i'm gonna send you there you're gonna do these wonders and [10:13] pharaoh ain't gonna listen to you and the reason why he ain't gonna listen to you because gonna bring out my armies against the [10:18] man right keep going and my people the children of israel out of the land of [10:24] egypt by great judgments and the egyptians shall know that i am yahuwah when i stretch forth my hand [10:29] upon egypt and bring out the children of israel from among them okay and moses and aaron did as yahuwah commanded them [10:36] so did they okay moses was four score years old and aaron was four scoring three years old when they spake unto [10:42] pharaoh [10:49] and the lord spoke unto moses and unto aaron saying when pharaoh shall speak unto you saying [10:55] show a miracle for you then you shall say unto aaron take thy rod and cast it before pharaoh and it [11:01] shall become a serpent and moses and aaron went in unto pharaoh and they did so as the lord had [11:07] commanded all right so let's set the scene moses and aaron went in on the pharaoh right the most high god that [11:13] already prepared me is like listen the way this conversation is gonna go is eventually the man is gonna say show me [11:18] a sign right show me some type of miracle you know what i'm saying to even justify the fact that you even [11:24] got your fixed your faith to talk to me right i'm pharaoh right if you look at history and listen to what these people [11:29] tell you about the pharaohs of history the pharaohs thought they were gods right so if we take that and when we we [11:36] kind of like hold that piece of information inside of inside of what we thinking about this situation [11:41] let's say pharaoh thinks he's god moses come and be like yo you know what i'm saying your [ __ ] says you gotta let the people go we saw last week how pharaoh [11:48] responded to that he's like who is yahuwah that i should have to listen to him i never heard this yahuwah [11:54] right so he's like who is this you're who would actually have to listen to him don't make no darn sense right then he come back mostly god is coaching moses [12:02] and aaron like listen when y'all go up in there eventually the man gonna tell you show [12:07] me a miracle when he show you that that's when you're going to throw the staff on the ground it's going to become [12:12] a serpent right so you can imagine they went in there they having this conversation and listen [12:18] you know kind of think of it like a political conversation like listen we got the hebrews here the hebrews need to go we got to go make [12:24] a sacrifice to our god this is what he's asking of us and we need to do it so what we need [12:29] from you is to let us go and go out there and make these sacrifices we don't want no problems we [12:34] just need to go out there and make these sacrifices because remember that's how moses has posed it to him uh this [12:40] initial time right watch let's see what happens [12:48] and when when pharah reverse me on nine this is exodus chapter seven verse nine [12:55] watch what the book says pharaoh shall speak unto you saying show a miracle for you then you shall say unto aaron take [13:00] thy rod and cast it before pharaoh and then shall become a serpent and moses and aaron went in unto pharaoh and they did so as the lord had [13:06] commanded and aaron cast down his rod before pharaoh and before his servants and it became a serpent [13:12] then pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers now the magicians of egypt they also did like manna with [13:18] their enchantments right so now that he has them like man show me go ahead and show me something then you [13:24] know what i'm saying if you're the real one go ahead and show me something so he he go ahead and he throw the staff on the ground aaron would have threw the [13:30] staff on the ground so aaron throw the staff on the ground it becomes a serpent now when it becomes a serpent [13:37] moses i mean uh pharaoh is looking at it like where are my magicians at [13:42] y'all do that too and for what purpose why would that happen until he can downplay what was [13:49] happening like oh man exactly my magician can do that ain't nothing you not doing nothing special because i [13:54] don't think much of my magicians i don't look at my magicians like oh you guys are amazing right [14:01] so i understand what my magicians are doing so if they can do it then i don't need [14:08] to take what you're doing too seriously that's the same thing that we see today [14:14] right people ask for a miracle and then when they see the miracle what [14:21] are they trying to do no ain't none right [14:26] that's what science is right science is basically [14:32] everything is is well the way these people look at science is they use it to understand the [14:38] why you know what the scientists tell you religion and god those are just concepts that people use [14:46] when they don't know how to explain something right you don't need god because science [14:51] explains it it's one of the little slogans that they use you don't need god because science because they they're suggesting that the [14:57] only reason you introduce god because you get so far down the chain is like i don't know where we came from i don't [15:03] know why this happens i don't know this and so wherever you say i don't know you just say well it's because of god god [15:10] does it and so they see god as a catch-all for all that right [15:15] whether it is or is it doesn't matter for some people it probably is right but that part doesn't matter [15:21] their idea of science is let me show and replicate where these [15:26] things came from and if i can explain it i don't need god [15:33] so then they constantly try to explain so if a man today [15:38] on video where to walk on water what do you think the first thing the scientists will do [15:45] he's some kind of gravitational pull under his shoes they will go right to that place they were you have people [15:51] examining the video right well i don't know if this was you know uh a cgi or anything like that [15:58] on the video then once they came through that then they go to the place and they'll say well see underneath this [16:03] water if we were to place blocks under the ear and then they would walk over the water [16:09] re-try to recreate the video and be like see he probably just had blocks underneath it just like this they would [16:14] try to recreate the illusion and they're not recreating the illusion [16:20] to give more glory to god or glory more glory to the man that worked walked on water they would be doing it [16:26] the same way that pharaoh was doing it to disprove it right to think lightly of it so pharaoh [16:33] calls his magicians let's see what the magicians do now the magicians i say all that to to [16:40] say that the magicians think of them like scientists now the magicians of egypt they also did [16:46] it they did in like manner with their enchantments but they cast down every man his ride and they became serpents [16:52] all right so the magicians was able to do it how'd that make pharaoh feel let's see but aaron's ride swallowed up their [16:58] rides uh-huh and he hardened pharaoh's heart that he harkened not unto them as yahuwah had said right so we talked [17:03] about what what what heart and heart mean what does that mean again uh just hard-headed it's not listening hard-headed right it didn't mean that [17:11] i'm not listening so once the pharaoh called his magicians [17:16] to make they rod rods in the serpents also and when you say rod it's talking about like a staff think of it like a [17:21] stick so they threw a staff down that staff turned into a snake and then the [17:26] uh magicians came and did the same thing the difference is that the staff that [17:32] came from moses and aaron that thing swallowed they snakes so that that snake ate their snakes [17:38] and then pharaoh looked at that and he got hard-headed like man i ain't listening to y'all this foolishness [17:43] sure you made a bigger snake but we could do the same thing you know i'm saying we did it enough we end up with a big snake too [17:50] all right keep going and the lord said unto moses pharaoh's heart is hardened he refuses [17:56] to let the people go uh-huh get the unto pharaoh in the morning look go in the morning do what he goes [18:02] out into the water and you shall stand by the river's brink against so it's important many of the plagues that we're [18:07] about to read about not all of them but the book is telling us that moses is waiting by the water pharaoh comes out [18:14] because that's his routine most i gotta tell him look he goes to the water this is more than think of it he said get out [18:20] what point what time in the morning what time in the morning low in the morning [18:26] until pharaoh in the morning though he goes out to the water and you shall stand by the river's brink now go before that [18:31] that's it and the lord said unto moses pharaoh's heart is hardened he refused to let the people go get thee unto pharaoh in the morning low [18:39] he goes out into the water oh okay it's one to say early in the morning i thought that was there right so he said [18:45] get out to him in the morning he goes out to the water so the most like god knows routine he's [18:50] saying listen if you just wait right here pharaoh come to you so a lot of these not all of them but [18:55] some of these that's what most and aaron did they just went to the water you know what i'm saying and then pharaoh comes [19:01] down and they're like oh hey how you doing right and then they start talking to them there right [19:07] go ahead and read them and the rod which was turned to a [19:13] serpent shall you take in your hand and you shall say unto him yahuwah god of the hebrews has sent me [19:19] unto you saying let my people go that they may serve me in the wilderness and behold hitherto you would not hear [19:26] thus says yahuwah and this thou shalt know that i am yahuwah behold i will smite with the rod that is in my hand [19:32] upon the waters which are in the river and they shall be turned to blood and the fish that is in the river shall [19:38] die and the river shall stink and the egyptians shall loathe to drink of the water of the river [19:44] and the lord spake unto moses say unto aaron take your rod and stretch out your hand upon the waters of egypt [19:50] upon their streams upon their rivers and upon their ponds and upon all their pools of water that they may become [19:56] blood and that there may be blood throughout all the land of egypt both in vessels of wood and vessels of stone [20:02] and moses and aaron did so as you who were commanded and he lift up the rod and smoke the waters that were in the [20:08] river and the sight of pharaoh and the side of his servants and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood right [20:14] so we look at it you have streams rivers ponds all the pools of water everything [20:21] turned to blood right you had the fish dying in the water the river had to stink to it right the people couldn't [20:28] drink from the water and guess what the magicians weren't able to do keep going and the fish that was in the river died [20:34] and the river stunk and all the egyptians could not drink at the water of the river and there was blood throughout all the land of egypt and the [20:40] egyptian and the magicians of egypt did so with their enchantments they did the exact same thing so they took some water [20:47] and they said man we can do this too and they turned it into blood right so again they were able to copy it [20:54] so how do you think that made moses feel like dang it right moses after that moses was like [21:01] i mean not moses uh uh pharaoh right after that phil was like [21:06] i mean i ain't listening to this stuff right so pharaoh's heart was hardened after this [21:11] after the magicians were able to mimic it the egyptians the only way they could get water they had to go around they had [21:18] to dig underneath the wood river right they had to dig around the river and by digging around the river they could find [21:23] water that wasn't tainted yet you know what i'm saying and by doing that they could drink their water but that's what they ought to do and this [21:28] lasted seven days right seven days of doing this then after that there was another plague [21:37] [Music] [21:52] there we go frogs so the frogs came out same thing moses [21:58] and aaron went out they met with pharaoh and after that they said you know what i'm saying most like god said look stretch [22:04] out the staff stretch out the rod and uh frogs that come out of the water [22:09] right magicians uh were able to mimic this one as well all right they tried to do it but frogs [22:15] covered the land right so it wasn't just like a couple frogs it was frogs all over right and it [22:22] just completely covered the land now one of these historians and scientists i don't know if it's true or not but it's [22:27] interesting if it is you know i'm saying one of them they say uh they say that yeah i'm saying the egyptians you know i'm saying they [22:33] worship the frogs and it was like against the law that killed frogs you know what i'm saying so [22:38] uh so the frogs just imagine like if it was against the law like imagine it being against a lot of killed dogs right [22:45] and then the whole neighborhood just infested with dogs there's all types of dogs all over the place they all in your [22:51] house you can't do nothing with them just a bunch of dogs and cats everywhere but you can't kill them right so if you [22:57] open your door a dog start running up in there right and you try to push them out but then another one comes in you try to [23:02] push them out but you can't do nothing to them right you can't hurt the dog you can't do nothing to it that might be of what [23:08] it was like whether it was like that or not there were definitely frogs all over the place it was inside of a house [23:14] um and then after that pharaoh said that he would let the people go so it's the first time he lied [23:19] phil broke down he like okay listen listen listen listen i'll let the people go right [23:24] i'll let them go everything be good however moses please entreat yah and [23:30] tell him to remove the frogs for me so then moses went back [23:37] he he entreated the most high god he prayed for pharaoh and then after that the uh frogs ended up dying [23:45] after the frogs died the people took the frogs they put him in heaps and then they have to go and take them out of the [23:51] land you know what i'm saying but they have to take all the frogs money love up and big old heaps and then take them out of the land [23:57] once uh once pharaoh saw that there was some some what the book calls were spit [24:03] i was some respite right phil was like no we good [24:08] yeah i'm saying very like man i ain't letting y'all go nowhere he changed his mind he was hard-headed or hardhearted [24:14] right he was hard-headed again and didn't listen so then another plague occurred [24:19] we're gonna try to shoot through these plagues [24:28] another plague occurred and this one was the dust becoming uh lights in the [24:35] land so in the same way staff was held out grabbed some dust and it became lice [24:40] the lights might have been you know i'm saying the way it's translated it could be uh night nats that bite [24:47] it's a little little bit just little bugs and it covered all through the land right they took uh [24:54] they took uh they took over the people and they took the animals and this is the first of the plagues [25:00] that the magicians couldn't copy so they would they were able to copy the the staff turned into a snake they were [25:07] able to copy the blood into water um and they were able to uh copy the the [25:14] frogs but what they couldn't do is they couldn't make the lice [25:20] so then after they couldn't copy it they told pharaoh this is the finger of god [25:25] the magicians told them they're like listen we can't copy this one this is the finger of god [25:31] right it's important that we look at that because now they're telling that to pharaoh how do you think that made pharaoh feel [25:38] he feel like he lost right this shows you that there's no [25:43] winning right when we go out when we sit here and we try to uh prove ourselves to you know you got you [25:50] got christians that their main job is to be apologists some people might have heard that term is that they are apologists and what [25:56] they do is day in day out they go out and they go speak to people and they try to deal with all the [26:03] people's questions about god and all the people's uh doubts and they try to explain things to them they try to [26:09] gather evidence and proof to prove who god is but you have to understand that [26:16] whoever you're going to get you going to get right but that doesn't really move the needle because there's no winning [26:22] people are just going to do what they gonna do the only thing we need to do is hold true to what the most high god tells us [26:28] to do which is be ready for people that ask questions for us be ready for people who are um looking to to to understand [26:36] about the book and understand about god and understand what they should do right we should be ready to instruct those people a lot of this you know standing [26:42] out on the strip you know what i'm saying standing out in the open place and trying to tell people stop sinning and repent because the [26:50] kingdom is at hand and it's that another just in an open place but ain't nobody coming there look for you that's not what god was talking about [26:56] right because we find ourselves in the same position that that moses is in here not the same position but we find [27:02] ourselves in the similar position that moses is in he does the miracle and they can copy it they don't believe [27:08] it he does a miracle that they can't copy and guess what i still ain't messing with you [27:13] either way it makes me mad right because it's not really about the miracle at all it's about dominance [27:19] pharaoh wants the dominance right so uh they told me it was the finger of god and after that pharaoh's heart was [27:26] hard and even more he still didn't let the people go so then the next plague was uh flies [27:32] right flies covered the land so from there flies went inside of the houses of the [27:38] people right but the only group of people that it didn't affect was the israelites because the flies didn't go [27:43] into goshen so remember when we came into the land uh joseph was running running the show [27:49] and joseph told us he said listen when you talk to pharaoh tell them that you keep the cattle he gonna mess around and [27:55] put you in the land of goshen because that's an abomination on the pharaoh right so we went the goshen all the hebrews [28:02] that's where we lived so all the flies covered everything but they didn't mess with goshen the most [28:07] high god said he put he he severed the two of us he put a separation between israel and the egyptians right that's [28:15] very important because as we go into the plagues that's going to come at the end of days we have to know and trust that the most [28:21] high god will separate us from the from the gentiles or us from the sinners [28:27] right if we have that understanding then it's a different level of confidence we don't have to come up with myths like these [28:33] christians do the christians the only way they can separate it and they mind is oh there's this seven-year tribulation period and [28:40] we're gonna be taken out before it right because in they mind they just can't compute how in the world all these [28:47] plague because they they don't know enough about the law and the scripture they know enough about the scripture they'd be like oh no i've seen god work [28:53] before if you write to do you do what you're supposed to be doing you set yourself on the right team most likely i [28:58] know how to protect the righteous man now right and our people wasn't even righteous in this predicament it was [29:05] just simple fact that the most high guy had a pr had a promise to keep so he had to bring him out and it was [29:10] time to do it right so anyway the flies cover the land it didn't impact the hebrews pharaoh said that uh [29:17] that they could go and they could sacrifice because the flies was irritating to him right so he got to a point he's like okay okay okay [29:23] y'all can go and y'all can go into y'all can go out of e i mean y'all can sacrifice but y'all have to sacrifice in egypt [29:30] right so remember that the original ask was let us go we need to go make a sacrifice [29:36] to our to yahuwah right then pharaoh got all the flies all these plagues there's four plagues in right [29:42] now all these plagues happen and he's looking like okay okay listen i'll tell you what i can sacrifice why can't y'all [29:48] just sacrifice right here right what did moses say to that because i as an abomination you can't do that [29:54] he's like i don't make no sense we're going to sacrifice the animals that y'all worship that's going to be an abomination to [30:00] y'all right he's like don't moses told me like [30:06] you know good and god darn well that as soon as we start sacrificing what the [30:12] egyptians gonna do to us stone us right so we asked him that question he's [30:18] moses asked he's like if we start sacrificing would not the egyptians stone us [30:25] right then after that phil was like ah they can go [30:30] just don't go too far right then he told moses he lied but only if you take away all the flies [30:37] so moses go back he pray you know what i'm saying pray for pharaoh and the flies to get taken away [30:44] but pharaoh still don't let him go all right so this is twice that pharaoh repented [30:49] but he still didn't do what he was supposed to do so you know the christians say we repent every day this is what it looked like to be repenting [30:55] every day constantly repenting and saying you're going to do something you don't do it and saying you you you i'm saying you was wrong you don't do it so [31:01] next play came and this was the plague on the cattle right it made all the cattle sick all the cows and all the sheep and all that [31:07] good stuff it made them sick so all the egyptian cattle got sick all the [31:13] ones that got sick died um the israelite cattle were not harms so just think about where [31:19] where this nation is coming from right this nation came from regular nation [31:24] then it comes from seven years of plenty so they build up then it goes to seven years of famine and during their seven [31:31] years of famine they sell all the stuff that they built up for for um [31:37] for services so then they end up buying people and buying land as a result of the only [31:43] place where resources doing a family the only place the only place with resources they got it all right so they sell into [31:48] they tell them to everybody near them right handing them uh resources out in [31:54] exchange for people servitude in exchange for for people's land so now this becomes an empire very quickly [32:02] right in seven years this place becomes an empire they start to run the show [32:07] now these plagues are threatening that this is the first plague to start killing their resources [32:13] right they have flies they have lice that stings to people but now they have some water you know [32:19] i'm saying water turned into that lasted seven days you can survive that now all of a sudden my cattle is dying [32:26] that's a big deal right that's a big deal because that's one of the things that people sold to them [32:33] during the years of famine they would sell them cattle so now they losing some of that advantage that they had all that that [32:39] got built up under joseph it's starting to be lost now right and who gave it to him in the [32:45] first place most high god right most like god gave it to him he could take it away [32:52] so the israelite cattle wasn't harmed at all israelites didn't have to worry about it [32:57] they didn't get touched because the most like god separated the israelites from the egyptians and after all this was said and done how did pharaoh feel [33:06] his heart was hardened again all right so still didn't listen still didn't let the people go heart was hard [33:13] so the next one was boils on the peoples and the animals so aaron he took ashes out of a furnace [33:19] the most like god told him to take ashes out of a furnace right so he took the ashes out of the furnace and then the [33:25] most i gotta tell him to put him in the sky he said the heavens but put him in the sky so he spread it in the sky like [33:30] that and throw it up in the sky then all of a sudden that turned into boils that covered the man the men and the people [33:37] i'm sorry the men and the animals right [33:43] so then the egyptians i mean uh the magicians not only could they not do this one they [33:49] couldn't even stand in front of moses to act like they are gonna do it because they were covered with boils too [33:54] so they sat they butt down and after that pharaoh was mad you know what i'm saying pharaoh i was like man you know [33:59] what still i ain't gonna let him go so it boils on the people at this point [34:04] and on the animals so all the animals that survived the plague or the uh the cattle [34:10] then came the boils on the um animals so these are still you know animals being attacked [34:16] then the next thing that happened was you have plague of hell so hell came out of the sky and it was [34:21] thunder and lightning but on top of the hell you know i'm saying it was like it was mingled with fire the book say you [34:27] know what i'm saying so you got hell and fire coming down and hitting the ground so not only hell if you ever seen hell [34:32] in real life hell is hard it'll put a dent in your car you know what i'm saying sometimes hell big enough to [34:37] break people's windows in places where they have bad hail so hell is hard so if you have if you have hail that ends up [34:44] hitting like your your crops you know i'm saying you have a field of crops you know i'm saying let's say you got wheat growing or whatever what do you think [34:50] that hell might do to some of that wheat tear it up it might tear some of that stuff up now when you add fire to the [34:57] pitcher what do you think gonna happen it's gonna burn up it's definitely gonna burn it up so that's what's what ended up happening [35:03] right most like guys you know i'm saying before this plague happened the most like guy set it up and he's like listen [35:10] i set egypt up for this purpose in other words i built egypt up just to tear it down in the same way [35:16] right so he said i set egypt up for this purpose so hell and fire rained down books say it was like it never had been [35:22] but never done that before in egypt um the fields were destroyed every man and beast in the field had to be uh had to [35:29] be young so the most like guy told me is like listen everything in the field gonna get touched [35:35] so there are some egyptians that believe the most high god at this point and some that don't [35:40] right pharaoh did pharaoh's like you know just okay go ahead and uh take all my cattle out you know what i'm [35:46] saying make sure you put give them some coverage you know we don't know how they're gonna play out you know what i'm saying but then some egyptians didn't [35:52] listen the ones that didn't listen they lost their cattle you know what i'm saying so they still had some cattle left over after the boils and after the [35:58] plague of the cattle but um and then they had some that they could rescue from the hill but you can imagine that [36:05] they cattle was going down down down real quick then after that some of the egyptians brought their stuff in some didn't um it [36:12] didn't impact the land of goshen again the hebrews were good uh and then pharaoh repented so at this [36:18] point pharaoh didn't just say all right i'll let you go pharaoh he's like listen i sinned [36:23] can we see this happen he's like man i stand here like man look god is righteous i sin he gave acknowledgement [36:28] to god he praised god right he became a christian [36:34] because right after he did that he said listen just take this away from us i'll let the people go and guess what [36:40] he still didn't let the people go right so he repented but he didn't stick with it [36:50] so the next thing was the locust this is the one that you know a lot of people are familiar with you got the [36:55] locusts that came out now the locust came out so thick that that you couldn't even see the land right [37:02] i know people here in las vegas you know what i'm saying like two years ago it was about three about three years three [37:08] years ago we had all them crickets it was everywhere there's like locusts and grasshoppers everywhere everywhere [37:14] there's a bunch of grasshoppers everywhere right now imagine that times like 10 [37:20] yeah you know i'm saying where is this like you can't even see the ground we will walk out bad you don't get me wrong [37:27] yeah we walk out in the parking lot at work and it was just like just all over the place you can see him in the lights and it's just like [37:33] you know you can barely see the lights because there was so many of them you're trying to literally walking they're like flying out of your way it was like [37:39] making a path for you because it was so big i think it was nasty yeah and they were nasty right well that's how this [37:45] was but just 10 times worse you couldn't even see the ground right and the book said that they ate up all the vegetation [37:52] right they ate everything that the hell didn't destroy is how the book put it [37:58] right so everything that the hell all the vegetation that they all everything that they were growing in their field all they food that the hell didn't [38:04] destroy they ended up eating it then they filled the egyptians houses [38:09] so again they opened egyptian open the door a whole bunch of whole bunch of locusts just come in you can't do nothing with them what you're going to [38:15] do it's too many of them you're trying to kill them so they filled the egyptian houses so then pharaoh's servants [38:20] started to ask this tells us the heart of the people of pharaoh right the egyptians wasn't necessarily aligned [38:27] with pharaoh pharaoh's servant this is somebody in his house there's somebody close to him he asked me like [38:33] how long we got to deal with this man moses in other words stop playing with him [38:38] let them go because the people's attitude is starting to change now remember phil maybe has you know i'm saying like maybe [38:45] he got some research to make this work not all the people do right [38:50] it's like listen i get that we want the hebrews to work for us but maybe it's not worth it what i'm saying but just remove all these locusts from me [39:20] so then he said that but of course didn't let him go so then there was another plague [39:26] and this is the plague of darkness this plague was rot regular darkness the [39:31] book describes it as a darkness that can be felt you know what i'm saying so there was something physical about the [39:36] darkness you know so you might imagine like a cloud that makes things dark there was something that you could feel [39:42] it right you could feel it around you i like to imagine it made you like move slow like like no wait like something [39:48] heavy something heavy on you like yeah i gotta you know i said push your way through it yeah you know what i'm saying [39:53] books say it lasted three days right so everything completely dark [39:58] right you couldn't book so you couldn't see the man next to you you couldn't see anything like you couldn't see nothing [40:04] three days lately dark and you can feel it there's something that you could feel you know i'm saying so you can't see and [40:10] it's something that you can feel it's thick imagine you open your mouth and it's in there or whatever it is you know what i'm saying like it's like it's [40:16] there you know what i'm saying something that you can feel you can't see a thing bumping around and it's not just like 10 [40:23] minutes it's three days straight day and night i can't see anything i need to eat [40:28] i need uh you know what i'm saying i got responsibilities i need to take care of i got to take care of my kid i gotta change my daughter diaper now all right [40:35] right all these regular things i got to do i have to do it completely blind and i ain't never been blind a day in my [40:40] life and then i can feel this stuff right so it's irritating it's on me right so [40:46] pharaoh says after that that the the that the children of israel they could go under one condition [40:53] you got to lead the children and you got to leave all the cattle everybody got everybody got to stay [40:59] except for the uh except for everybody got to stay except for the adults the dogs can go [41:05] but the children and the cattle have to stay right mother said not ain't gonna work [41:12] he said we gotta take everybody with us women children cattle young man slick because you know people gonna come back [41:17] for their kids the firstborn of the land of [52:02] egypt shall die from the firstborn of pharaoh that sits upon his throne even to the firstborn of the maidservant that [52:08] is behind the meal so now it's very important one thing i noticed the late late this last time that i read it that [52:13] i never really noticed before it said the firstborn of pharaoh [52:18] to the firstborn of who the maidservant that is behind the meal so what this is attempting to do is give [52:24] you the greatest to the least right but it uses a male [52:31] and a female so if a man were to have [52:37] babies by multiple women right not only does his personal firstborn [52:44] child die but all of their individual firstborn children die as well [52:50] right so the woman that might be his third child but it's her first [52:56] that one dies so the male might have several children that dies [53:01] and vice versa right if you have a woman that has children by multiple men [53:07] their firstborn will die as well as her firstborn would die [53:14] that's a lot of kids your firstborn might be [53:20] a couple years old your firstborn might be a grown darn man or woman right that would be tj and azariah in will harden pharaoh's heart so that he would not let the children of israel go out of [54:48] his land and the lord spake unto moses and aaron in the land of egypt saying this month shall be unto you the beginning of [54:55] months it shall be the first month of the year unto you all right so this is the the new year's you know you know [55:00] these people just celebrate a new year right this month that we're talking about right here is called a bib it doesn't [55:07] give it a name right here but uh later on it'll be it'll be named a bib that was the first month of the year for [55:13] had to get [55:46] a lamb and if my house is too unless you're just me and my wife we can't eat a whole darn lamb if that's too little [55:53] then guess what get your neighbor and y'all share a whole lamb but everybody got to deal with a whole lamb right keep [55:59] going every man according to his eating shall make you count for the lamb [56:04] your lamb shall be without blemish a male of the first year you should take it out of from the sheep or from the [56:10] goats and you shall keep it until the 14th day of the same month and the whole assembly of the congregation of israel [56:16] shall kill it in the evening all right so on the tenth day of the first day of the month you take out a lamb you get it either [56:23] from the sheep or from the goats right you pull that lamb out and you keep it onto the fifth the 14th day [56:30] right and then what happens and they shall take up the blood and strike it on the two side posts [56:35] and on the upper door posts of the houses where they shall eat it right so then at the evening in other words at [56:41] sunset you kill this lamb you take the blood from that sacrifice of the lamb [56:46] and then you put it on the doorpost of the house so remember we're in egypt right now he's telling us kill his lamb and you [56:53] kill the lamb in the evening time at sunset right so sunset here you kill the [56:59] lamb you take the blood from the lamb you put it on the side of the doorpost of the house right what else [57:05] and they shall eat the flesh in that night roast with fire and underneath in unleavened bread right so you're gonna [57:12] roast this lamb with fire and unleavened bread does that mean bread that you don't give it a chance to leaven you [57:17] know what i'm saying it's like kind of like eating crackers or you know cooked tortillas or something like that right so you take this bread and then [57:24] you eat the bread you take this lamb that you just killed you put the blood on the side it's cooked now and then [57:30] you're going to eat it right this first time we all just cooked our own lamb we roasted it we did everybody hebrew think [57:36] they can cook their own lamb now he's like no i'm for whosoever eats that [67:05] which is leaven even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of israel whether he be a stranger or born in the [67:10] land you shall eat nothing leavened in all your habitation shall you eat unleavened bread then moses called for all the elders of [67:17] israel and said unto them draw out and take you a lamb according to your families and kill the [79:38] to pass that self-same day that the lord did bring the children of israel out of the land of egypt by their armies right [79:44] so this was one of the first commandments where we look at in 12 and 12 and chapter 12 this is when the first [79:50] commandments started to be handed out right we haven't established the priests we haven't established the the we really [79:57] haven't even established the law yet in terms of in terms of how it's going to be delivered from the most high god but [80:02] this is one of the first commandments that had been given to the children of israel and the most high god begins the [80:08] first commandment the first set of commandments that he's given about the passover he begins it understanding that [80:14] you've got to be circumcised and understanding that there's one law [80:19] for everyone who sits under the the law of the most high god who [80:25] sits under the people or the most high god so although you are a sojourner somebody who visiting is what that's [80:30] talking about somebody who's not from the land and you may be not going to spend the rest of your life in this land but you here right now you passing [80:37] through but for right now you here although you you just a visitor guess what you got to keep this same law [80:43] although you're a stranger and maybe you do want to move here permanently you got to
