Sabbath what is Sabbath okay none of y'all tell me [01:51] what Sabbath is there we go so the Sabbath is the [01:57] seventh day of uh seven day week it's the end of a week [02:03] right so us as Hebrews our ancestors right had a calendar a different you [02:09] know or what we would call a calendar today right and at the end of our our [02:15] seven days it would be the Sabbath that Sabbath the the [02:20] um the sixth day of the week would end on what we would consider Friday night [02:26] so that's why we have Bible study on Friday night because the sixth day of the week would end at the evening of the [02:33] sixth day which would be the the evening of Friday for us right so then we [02:38] celebrate the Sabbath from the evening to the morning which means Saturday would be the [02:46] Sabbath right so that's that's that's that's what we look at Saturday is the [02:51] Sabbath the daytime of Saturday is the Sabbath that's the Sabbath day so what we say is Sabbath peace when we start [02:58] because we're having a Sabbath study because it's the beginning of the seventh day of the week [03:04] does that make sense all right Sabbath peace it's another opportunity for us to come [03:11] together and hear and learn another word of Truth as given to us by the most high God all honor goes to the father through [03:17] the son whose name is yahushua in him lies the only hope for salvation we know [03:23] that it is obtained by grace through faith not of worse lest anyone should boast [03:29] and given freely as a gift to all who obey him we understand that if you do [03:34] not obey him it is made manifest or made made obvious that you do not believe [03:42] in this state you should expect no good thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether it be a [03:50] gift of tongues a gift of Prophecy or any Supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against [03:58] you in the day of judgment with that said Peace to the supposed to do right A lot of people get it in their mind it's like oh when when when Phil [06:26] preached what he preaching about he trying to tell you that you got to be perfect because I teach at you everybody [06:31] got to turn away from all sin not just some sin not just saying that people [06:36] that make you feel bad about you know any sin that's documented from our Messiah or his Apostles we have to turn [06:43] from period right we got a list of them it's not hard it's not it's not a whole bunch of stuff it ain't what people they [06:50] people try to make you think everything you do is a sin you could be sinning on an accident all that stuff is a lie there's specific sins and that's what we [06:56] gotta turn away from right so people will try to present that as oh he trying to tell people to be perfect that's not [07:04] true all right it's great if we it's possible to be perfect it is profitably perfect the book said so I believe it's possible [07:10] right but that's not what I'm telling people as a as a requirement all I'm saying is turn away from sin [07:17] right if we like fill our lives with [07:23] with good works with work sets according to the book right helping people out [07:28] being generous to people looking out for people obeying God's word honoring God [07:33] putting him first and I'm saying cleaning up our language speaking things that that are true and speaking things [07:40] that are uh beneficial that build people up and I ain't talking about no positive [07:45] affirmations you know what you're gonna be great I ain't talking about the after these people that make you feel that's [07:50] that's a lie you know that's lying to people your butt going ain't gonna be great while I'm sitting here and tell you you're gonna be great [07:56] right I don't tell y'all y'all don't if you don't know me you gonna get to know me I will never sit in your face and [08:04] tell you something just to make you feel good right if I'm telling you something that makes you feel good it's because I [08:10] believe it and because it's the truth in my mind at least sometimes I'd be wrong I told some people that they great and what you tell people right but it's important that you you know I'm saying you you do [08:28] good stuff right you do stuff that you supposed to do and it's nothing better than sacrificing yourself you got [09:07] to give it you have to you have to give people to win because they be thinking everybody heard her like turn the other [09:12] cheek anybody ever y'all heard that that concept turned [09:43] naturally some people want to fight back naturally some people gonna want to get somebody to come get them help some [09:49] people want to call the police right some people want to you know it's different ways that people handle that type of situation what y'all she was [09:56] saying is now give them the other cheek to slap right okay that was one to give them the [10:01] other one right now we look at that and we look at that like that's crazy [10:07] I ain't gonna let nobody take advantage of me because at that point you're taking you're look you're losing you're giving yourself up to Luke's like I know [10:13] I can whoop you I know I can knock you out but I'm gonna give you my other cheek instead right sometimes we see [10:19] that as a loss we see that as as I'mma look like a coward imma look like I'm scared [10:25] right imma look like I'm not cool and that type of stuff becomes difficult [10:30] right but you have to get that stuff out of your mind that you have to win and you have to look like you you you on top [10:36] of the situation and instead give yourself room to be lifted up by the most high God because otherwise if you [10:43] your butt always trying to come out on top you always trying to look like the winner you're going to lose you don't [10:50] spend a lot of your life being embarrassed right or dealing with stuff that you [10:56] gotta lie and and and make everybody else around you believe that you won't talk but then there's always going to be [11:02] people that you just feel vulnerable to because they know the truth about you now you got to be scared you know what [11:08] I'm saying scared of everything scared of stuff you live in the rest of your life trying to keep up with a lot stuff man I'm telling you there's a lot of [11:14] people living that it's a lot of people living there and that stuff when you get older and [11:20] you're trying to unravel all these lies you're trying to get through it you talking to somebody trying to do it you're going to therapist and going all [11:26] these different places trying to get it done and I'm telling you don't need that stuff when you honest with yourself [11:32] all right you honest with yourself you stay in tune with yourself you honest about your feelings called emotional [11:38] intelligence you you know what I'm saying these corporate people call it you know what I'm saying but you stay in tune with you got going on you don't [11:43] need all that stuff you know there's a lot of stuff you just don't need a lot of reasoning people need therapy because we didn't lie to [11:49] ourselves for so long you ever heard somebody suppression they suppressing a traumatic experience [11:55] never heard it's like you're like you know it was so scary or so bad you forgot it happened you only remember it [12:00] happened because you don't want to think about it you just want to ignore it that's lying to yourself [12:06] right it's something that we do to protect ourselves ain't nobody necessarily wrong for it because it's something that we do when we don't know [12:11] how to protect ourselves so that's what the therapist try to do the therapist try to make you relive it and then teach [12:17] you a good therapist should try to teach you ways to deal with that that feeling or that thought or the traumatic [12:23] experience that it brings up but we don't need it we don't necessarily need a therapist for that [12:28] right if we stay honest with ourselves from the beginning and we just face it and we go through we got we what we got [12:33] to go through you know I'm saying we'll be all right you know I'm saying part of that is being able to live with the most high [12:39] God and accept losses you got to accept the losses because [12:44] when you lose for the sake of the most high God in the end you win [12:50] and sometimes the end is closer than what you think all right the enemy closer to what you [12:56] think a lot of people look at you know I'm saying a lot of people look at you know I'm saying a lot of stuff that my wife didn't done you know what I'm saying [13:02] like her friends look at her and they look at her and just like oh you have such a perfect life and you have all this stuff and it's like yeah but they [13:10] don't know the losses that she took they just don't know because it don't matter once you once the most I got put [13:16] you on top in front of people it don't matter what happened before don't nobody know me about how I used to [13:22] live people look at me and like oh you're a nerd you're a Bible man you're a preacher all this stuff they don't know [13:28] they don't know nothing about all the stuff I used to do remember it if people I look if people I [13:34] did the stuff with that don't remember it because it don't matter no more [13:41] all right friends call my friends who I was out there with they we doing the same stuff found stuff [13:47] they look at me be like no that's and the sacrifices that we make early on [14:06] that's what's gonna build us up for the future and it's tough when you're young to think that far ahead it's really hard [14:13] it's really hard but I kid you not that's what's going to separate the winners from the losers [14:19] that's what's going to separate the the the the 16 year old now the 15 14 13 [14:25] year old now that grows up and becomes the successful 35 year old with a happy [14:30] peaceful life or the person that's chasing something that never feels fulfilled I ain't gonna say I ain't [14:36] gonna say that that the people that that don't sacrifice now won't have a an appearance of success because some [14:42] people are strike it rich some people get a good job and get lucky some people all that but your mind is not gonna be [14:48] right you'll have a little bit of money and you always think about killing yourself [14:53] are you gonna have you a little bit of money and you always think about being lonely or not finding the right person [14:59] for your life and all these different things going crazy on the inside or even worse you ain't gonna have nothing [15:06] you'll be struggling you'll be in and out of prison you know I'm saying you're gonna be sitting here going you know I'm saying [15:12] just trying to figure out what's the next step for you to do living in complete chaos it's avoidable I want [15:18] y'all to know that that stuff is avoidable but it comes with understanding what's [15:24] in front of you now and understanding the right decisions to make and taking the loss it's gonna feel like you lose [15:30] it but in the end most of our God gonna put you somewhere and ain't nobody gonna remember none of this foolishness y'all [15:36] worried about now it's all gonna be forgotten it ain't even gonna make sense no more just stick it out all right [15:43] so because uh Jehoshaphat had a a life of good behavior great [15:50] Behavior always put on for the most high God tore down the things that that the Kings before him because he became a [15:56] king and he tried to straighten stuff up he was like man y'all ain't serving the most hot God tear down these altars [16:02] these mess with him so even when he messed up and he became a friend to the king of [16:26] Israel Ahab and Ahab didn't mess with God at all but that was still his friend right he became a friend with him still go with him he [16:44] went with him and God didn't like that so God said there's going to be wrath on you [16:49] right but even with that wrath I see the good things that you did so that's Mercy [16:56] right when we serve the most high God we keep his Commandments the most high God has Mercy on us and that's all we can [17:02] ask for we know stuff is gonna happen we know we didn't mess up we know that we sinned in our past we know all this [17:08] stuff and we don't have to pay for every bit of it the only thing you could ask for is Mercy and the ways you give Mercy [17:13] is
