understand that if you do not obey him it is made manifest or made obvious that you do not believe in this [00:41] state you should expect no good thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether it be a gift of [00:47] tongues a gift of prophecy or any supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against [00:53] you in the day of judgment with that said peace to the saints that are in the room to the saints that couldn't make it [00:58] to the saints watching in on the camera but no peace to the wicked the only thing we say to them is repent that i'm saying no graven image you saw no image you know saying going over recapping [02:05] some of the laws recapping somehow um [02:11] then we talk about the uh the wisdom and the sight of the people we talked about how the law is our [02:16] wisdom right that's the key point right the law is our wisdom what is wisdom what do we [02:24] learn about wisdom decision making decision making decision making inaudible [02:33] it helps us understand what's right from wrong how did we figure that out what [02:39] proved that out for us the law what proved it out specifically in the [02:44] law uh how do we end up knowing that wisdom is [02:51] is equivalent to knowing right from wrong [02:56] because the law is your wisdom in the sight of the nations but how do we know that wisdom is talking about right or wrong [03:03] who remember what we had to go and look at [03:09] uh genesis genesis right you remember when when when eve was [03:15] talking to the serpent the serpent said nah man we know that that tree you know i'm saying if you if you eat from that [03:20] tree and it'll make you darn wise right then after that she ate it [03:28] huh [03:35] it said it gave her wisdom made her wise now the name of the tree was the knowledge of the tree of good and evil i [03:42] mean the tree of the knowledge of good and evil right so knowing good and evil that's what the [03:48] tree did for people it made it gave people the knowledge of good and evil it let you know this is good this is evil [03:55] right so we have to understand how stuff work right everything is right everything that is [04:01] already is right if i take if we look at this xylophone [04:07] bus thing right every color that's on there is already on there [04:12] right we're not creating no new colors it's there the only thing we can do from now [04:18] is call that first one blue call the second one yellow call the third one a purple green [04:25] a lighter blue orange and red right we could take that and then we [04:31] could say well these are light colors and these are dark colors so i might say the blue and the red are dark colors the yellow [04:38] the purple the green the lighter blue are are our uh i'm sorry dark colors and [04:44] those are the light colors right so now you can take what's there and you can categorize it [04:50] well that's what the knowledge of good and evil does for us right we ate that food and what we could we're [04:56] able to do is take everything that's already happening and now we have an intuition of this feels wrong [05:03] this feels good now i can categorize the world well that's what causes the wisdom once you [05:09] can start categorizing things it makes sense right [05:15] who's had a dirty room before and when you had a dirty room is it easy [05:20] to find stuff if you say yes that means you're a functional dirty person [05:27] that didn't mean you so used to your own dirt you know i'm saying it's like i know i left my drawers right there [05:33] yeah i know i left my toy underneath my bed right here yeah i'm saying but generally when you have a dirty room [05:40] things are not organized you won't be able to find it so now let's say it's time to play your [05:45] toy how long is it going to take you to play with that toy if you can't find it it takes a it takes a while don't it [05:52] right but then turn around everything organized you want to go to your toy well you know whenever your toy is up [05:58] it's going to be organized inside the cabinet right behind it right behind this one boom i know exactly where it is i can get right to playing the toy well [06:04] that's what life is right when you're able to categorize things in your mind and say these are [06:10] the good things these are the bad things guess what type of decisions you make fast or slow you make quick decisions [06:17] it's easy it's not a struggle you sit there and you look at it and you lay everything out and you hear all the facts you know what it comes down to [06:24] that's the issue that's the solution this is what we need to do simply not because you're the smartest person in the room not because you know [06:30] the best math not because you're the best reader not because you know all the scientific equations the only reason is [06:37] because i know how to take the information put in front of me and i know how to say this is good this is bad [06:43] i know what i'm supposed to do now right everything else starts to flow together [06:49] that's what we have to do and the only way to get there in the sight of god right to have the greatest wisdom the [06:55] wisdom that brings salvation is we have to know our law [07:01] right that's what it is it's the wisdom of so we talked a little bit about that we talked a little unto them hear o israel the statutes and [15:35] judgments which i speak in your ears this day that you may learn them and keep and do them that's right the lord our god made [15:41] a covenant with us in horeb the lord made not this covenant with our fathers but with us even us who are all of us [15:48] here alive this day uh-huh the lord talked with you face to face in the mountain or the midst of the fire i [15:54] stood between the lord and you at that time to show you the word of the lord for you were afraid by reason of the [15:59] fire and didn't go up into the mountain saying i am the lord thy god which brought you out of the land of egypt [16:06] from the house of bondage you shall have no other gods before me right he's about to read the ten commandments watch this [16:12] you shall not make any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above look in heaven above don't [16:19] make any grave hear me that means you got to get the dove he's adding the earth beneath keep going or that is in [16:24] the waters beneath the earth the water beneath the earth they'll get the fish right keep going get our snacks and come back up here [16:31] and you shall you the sabbath of the lord thy god and it in it you shall do [17:07] no you shall do any not do any work you nor your son your daughter your manservant your maidservant your ox nor [17:14] your donkey nor your cattle nor the stranger that isn't within your gates that your man servant and your maid [17:21] servant may rest as well as you everybody get the rest right in our land when we was in our laws that the most high taught moses [21:37] right and that goes from 21 to 24 to i mean 21 to 23 to 24 [21:44] 21 22 23 and then on 24 he comes down and he makes the covenant he teaches [21:50] them those laws and he makes the covenant right so he's kind of giving us like a behind the scenes in deuteronomy [21:56] keep going you shall observe to do therefore the [22:02] lord your god has commanded you do therefore as the lord your god has commanded you you [22:08] shall not argue to the right hand or to the left you shall walk in the ways which the lord [22:13] your god has commanded you that you may live and that it may be well with you and that you you may prolong your days [22:19] in the land which you shall possess now these are the commandments the statutes and the judgments [22:26] in the judgments which the lord your gods commanded to teach you that you might do them in the land where you go to possess [22:32] that thou almighty that y'all might fear the lord thy god lord [32:25] brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you out of the house of bondman from the hand of pharaoh please [32:31] he said i'm making you a special people above all other people feelings and your emotions [61:35] right if you say i'm respectful and then you find yourself cussing at adults talking back to adults not [61:42] listening and then they don't look at you and be like didn't you so what you got to do now how you win [62:45] you get better you work harder and after you work the hardest you can probably work and get the best you can possibly [62:51] be are you going to win every game no you likely will not win every game right [62:58] y'all had a couple you know y'all had a couple runs where y'all was undefeated good job young whatever but in real life [63:04] you likely won't win every game you're gonna have another tournament because before y'all had the first tournament [63:09] y'all had undefeated right great y'all did great the second the second tournament y'all had y'all got your butt [63:15] kicked the third one y'all got your butt kicked and in this last one y'all went [63:21] undefeated again because that's how it works you regain tools depression because the way that they set up an expectation for themselves is not what [65:37] depression comes from unmet expectations you have an expectation of a worldview [65:44] in every town it just keeps coming lower and keeps coming lower and only you never deal with the lower expectation [65:49] only thing you do is escape it and find another way around it so instead of saying [65:55] you know i'm instead of saying i'm sick i keep saying i'm healthy which then keeps me sick [66:02] so then instead of saying okay let me just admit i'm sick and getting medicine i just say i'm healthy again [66:09] and i keep trying to make myself you know what this will be i'll be healthier tomorrow one day at a time but i never [66:15] do anything about the actual sickness that's what it's like when we repeat i'm [66:20] smart and i'm respectful all that is good and it's great as long as we have [66:26] the behavior to match it if i'm truly respectful to adults into my peers and [66:32] to everybody i'm dealing with then it's great to say i'm respectful if i'm truly smart and i use my tools to [66:39] make sure i'm gaining knowledge and i'm staying sharp then it's great to say i'm smart [66:45] but if i'm out here bad and i ain't paying attention in school don't be telling them lie to yourself [66:50] you stop your coach and be like i need to get smarter i need more respect [66:58]
