freely as a gift to all who obey him we understand that if you do not obey him it is made [00:33] manifest or made obvious that you do not believe in this state you should expect no good thing from the most high however [00:40] anything that you anything that you do get whether it be a gift of tongues a gift of prophecy or any supernatural [00:45] experience that you may have it can and it will be used against you in the day of judgment with that said [00:51] peace to the saints that are in the room to the saints that couldn't make it to the saints watching in on the camera but no peace to the wicked the only thing we [00:58] say to them is repent that they might yeah that's what's right [01:05] area right there yeah that's the only party coming here for they take it but right back to play [01:10] right there that's uh [01:16] let's talk about we where we were left where we leave off last week leviticus 22. i gotta make sure his [01:22] sister pamela pamela came in i ain't never pamela the day we came back from dallas she sent them send me a message [01:38] talking about you know i'm saying she's like yeah i mean uh she's like i'm in dallas you want me to go get it i'm like oh are you [01:44] kidding me just you know i said so i had to i had to connect them with the congregation out there [01:50] i gotta follow up make sure everything is all right you know what i'm just had a couple quick questions too much i'll try and get my car registered you [02:07] know i'm saying i was like well you know i'm saying actually i can call you we can kind of chat a little bit because uh you know i'm saying i'm sitting here and [02:13] you know i'm saying dealing with this stuff so uh but let's talk about we where we went [02:19] last week so last week what did we talk about who's at the door daniel [02:24] brother daniel you know i'm never seen brother there you're there late i ain't gonna say nothing about it [02:30] um you talk about sacrifices you talk about sacrifices huh what's what sacrifices [02:40] you can't sacrifice a blemished animal you can't do that got to be perfect okay what else are we talking about [02:46] uh talk about the pre-starter if she's married to a stranger [02:52] who can eat other holy things he can't yeah remember we talked we were talking about the laws [02:58] some laws that apply to the people and then we talked about some of the laws that apply specifically to the priests [03:03] you gotta have a virgin high priest remember i preach your high priest you can't you can't defile [03:09] yourself and nobody yeah no dead body at all you gotta tuck that thing in [03:14] one of your family member died you can't even go to that funeral right you got to tuck that thing in [03:20] that's what it means see the most i got here teach us how how we can't have emotions rule us [03:25] i went through a class at work um it's called emotional emotional [03:30] intelligence and uh i don't often find classes valuable you know i'm saying like the classes that [03:37] the people put together but the class was actually valuable you know i'm saying just kind of spoke to the importance of like [03:44] you know what i'm saying like you naturally if you natural right you know what i'm saying like they don't know [03:49] when they tell me i was like oh i can play bust some book on y'all but you know what i'm saying i can help you out teaching this class i bought some book [03:54] open you know it's like when you're natural right the natural man is the book we'll call it you know what i'm saying like you might react to [04:00] anything based off of emotions because explain how like you know i'm saying like your [04:06] stimulation starts here then it goes to the center of your brain like this is the order that it goes so it'll go from here to here you know i'm saying in the [04:12] center of your brain is what's called the amygdala you know what they call that the amygdala you know i'm saying in that [04:19] part of your brain is when you ever heard of fight or flight you know what i'm saying it's the response of like when you're afraid of [04:25] something you have to make a decision i'ma fight against it you know what i'm saying or i'ma run away from it you know [04:31] i'm saying they call that the survival instinct you know i'm saying to to have an instant reaction on on when to fight [04:37] something and when to run away from it you know and they're saying the way the brain works you know i'm saying it's [04:42] like because you have to make that type of decision your brain shrieks [04:48] the part you know the frontal cortex or whatever it is i don't know the front part of your brain that holds all your [04:54] logic and all that good stuff all your conscious thoughts and all that say it's like that part shrinks you know [04:59] i'm saying they say the reason why it shrinks is because if a lion is jumping out at you your [05:06] brain don't really want you to sit there and be like oh that's a lion look at how long his hair is you know what i'm saying start being logical about the [05:11] lion because there's potential danger so you got to make a decision to either fight this line immediately or run away [05:17] so this is the logical part strength so you ain't got a whole lot of thought and then the emotional reaction brings in so [05:22] it's like fear what are you gonna do with it go or that way or whatever right so it's like that's the natural reaction [05:28] that's what happens first and after that you gotta kind of think you have to think through it so you have to start [05:33] training your body to not respond immediately to [05:39] to the first instincts you know i'm saying because our emotions have been triggered and conditioned in such a way [05:45] to kind of have a fight-or-flight response to even when it's not necessary so you have to try to retrain yourself [05:50] to be like okay you know what give myself a beat what they tell you is breathe into your nose and breathe out [05:56] you know anybody about to say do that in real life you know get somebody you know what i'm saying get somebody jammed up doing that stuff now everybody you try [06:02] to do that at work you know i'm saying somebody say something to you in the meeting to make you upset you just [06:08] does that solve anything now everybody look at it oh yeah he mad you know man you know that they know so i was like [06:13] somebody might think i'm like yeah i don't know what y'all talking about but at the end of the day you got to do whatever you got to do to make sure that [06:20] you thinking things through and that's the book have us do we can't react to our emotions [06:25] the book would call it spirits right we can't sit here and let we can't let [06:30] spirits just rule us that's what emotions are right whether you're sad you're mad you [06:37] happy even happy right happy you angry or or uh or you got remorse [06:44] right those are like the five basic emotions that you're dealing with you know what i'm saying and you got that you got you kind of got to work through [06:50] that stuff right so i say all that to say the priests the book is saying for the [06:55] priests you have to tuck all those in right [07:02] you feeling remorse are you feeling sad anguish you know i'm saying because somebody died in your family you know [07:07] what i'm saying your wife your husband you know i'm alright i guess not husband but your wife your uh your mom dad you [07:14] know what i'm saying you gotta touch that you just gotta tuck it in and you gotta keep working [07:21] man i'm saying that's something that we gotta think about and you have to understand that's something that the most high god put in front of the high [07:26] priest a man a man just like one of us just happened [07:32] to be born in a certain family he ain't got no special superpowers he ain't got nothing ain't nothing different about [07:37] him and us the only thing different is he come from a certain lineage his mom and daddy is a certain person [07:46] right when you put it in that perspective that means oh this could be required of any of us [07:53] and he's the representation of who we are right or who we need to be [08:01] so we look at it after that we ended off at uh leviticus chapter 22 is where we ended up i know y'all over there looking [08:07] for something y'all looking for where we at we about to be on leviticus chapter 23 [08:13] leviticus chapter 23 is where we're about to go right [08:20] i thought i cut i was like look at that no me [08:28] let's uh let's go to leviticus chapter 23 let's see what the books say [08:35] and the lord speaking unto moses saying speaking to the children of israel and saying to them why you back there sound [08:40] like you don't sleep with me yeah lord explain to moses saying i thought [08:46] that's how it always sounds oh yeah they get a little enthusiastic you know what i'm saying concerning the feast of yeah [08:52] there we go you know that we awaken here which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations [08:58] even these are my feasts right so you're talking about feasts when it says feast what is it actually saying if we pull it from the hebrew and we translated it [09:05] more appropriately it's saying appointed times right so these are the appointed times [09:12] that we're about to be talking about when you think of appointed times it's a cool way of saying all right or i [09:18] shouldn't say it's a cool way of saying a different way the way we would reckon that in in the culture that we live in [09:25] now typically would be holiday right so what we're about to be talking about is what we would consider [09:32] holiday here in america right there's multiple holidays that the book is going to talk about [09:37] now for all the christians you probably have never heard of for your bible believing [09:42] but you know that yo yo yo i read the bible front and back but [09:48] you probably never heard of these these quote-unquote holidays right and the reason is is just because [09:54] as christians what we've been we've been we've been raised in a christian church based off a tradition [10:00] and many times you have the christian churches that haven't been taught the bible themselves thoroughly [10:07] or although they've been taught or they they have had an opportunity to learn they decide to stick with a tradition [10:15] and so those traditions get passed down and unfortunately there's no room after you have a lot of those traditions [10:21] there's no room for the for the for the rights that the most high god has given us there's no room for the celebrations [10:27] that the most high god has given us so we're gonna walk through some of these uh some of these appointed [10:32] times and and make sure that we understand them and we can discuss them so this is [10:38] uh this is uh leviticus chapter 23 reverse verse three verse three let's see what [10:44] the book said six days shall work be done but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest a holy convocation you shall do no work [10:51] varian holy convocation what does that mean there's a holy gathering right it's a holy god like a sacred assembly assembly [10:58] right so assembly would be the word another word for assembly would be what [11:04] how would how would uh congregation church church right that's the way they would use assembly [11:11] right so if a christian were to translate you know what i'm saying in the old testament into christianese [11:18] they would translate assembly or holy convocation into church [11:23] right so it's a time for us to come together right in the name of ewa now not every [11:29] year do we do this right right this year we will all right we're going to talk about all [11:35] the ones that are holy convocations right all the days that are holy convocations and we're going to make [11:40] sure that we get together on those days right come you know i'm saying whatever it [11:46] takes you know i'm saying we gotta make sure we get together and we talk we have a study right we did it we used to do it way [11:52] back in the day we made sure we got it but then we kind of stopped so now we're going to get back to it um [11:58] so uh the sabbath is what's discussed first so you got the sabbath every weekend this is a holy [12:06] convocation this is a sacred assembly in other words people of the messiah come [12:12] together and we discuss the messiah we set ourselves apart in that time right [12:18] so the sabbath is a point in time that's the seventh day of the week what we were reckoning this saturday um technically [12:24] the the the the the commandment is about sabbath day now we we start to keep it during the [12:31] night right so that's why we come together you know i'm saying the evening before the sabbath day y'all saying so [12:37] we keep it in the night but technically the commandment is for sabbath day right so let's see keep going [12:44] it is the set it is the sabbath of the lord in your dwellings these are the feasts of the lord even holy [12:49] convocations which you shall proclaim in their seasons in the 14th day of the first month so now in the 14th day [12:56] of the fourth month i mean the first month it even right it's very important to [13:01] understand what it's saying in the 14th day of the first month [13:08] at even hope we got go back to genesis chapter one [13:13] because we have to understand what we now is talking about we talking about how how the most high god is seeing a [13:18] calendar because he's talking to us about calendar events he's saying 14th day [13:24] of the first month right he's talking about a calendar at this point so now we need to know okay [13:29] when you got a calendar when's the day started when's the day in we need to know all that now [13:39] we know exactly what a day is right and a lot of this we get right out of genesis [13:46] genesis chapter one you start me off in verse one in the beginning god created heaven and the earth sometimes you can't [13:52] make this stuff too you can't make it too complicated you just gotta simplify it right let's get right to it let's see [13:57] in the earth in the earth was without form and void okay so it was without form and it was [14:02] void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and it was darkness and it was on the page so it was no light [14:09] okay let's see the spirit of god moved upon the face of the water okay and god said let there be light and there was [14:15] light okay now there's light okay what else and god saw the light that it was good and god divided the [14:21] light from the darkness uh-huh and called the light day and the darkness he called night okay so now we got some [14:27] definitions we got definition for night night is equal to what [14:33] darkness we got a definition for day day is equal to what light [14:39] right so definition for day is light [14:45] now we know what day is right keep going in the evening and the morning were the [14:51] first day whoa whoa whoa whoa the evening and the morning were what the first day [14:56] wait a minute so evening is what sorry [15:02] morning is what day but evening plus morning equal what [15:11] so how many definitions did they have one one three three [15:17] three two three two right light [15:23] equals what day day that's one definition right when you when you have the light part of a day [15:30] that's day right evening in the morning equals you wake [15:36] up in the morning you're gonna say i'ma get my what started my day [15:41] right it's early in the morning it's still dark outside you know i'm saying and the [15:47] kids want to go outside you say not until the daytime [15:56] right [16:02] you can be outside as long as the daylight is out there but guess what yeah be your butt back here before the street [16:08] lights come on street lights come on when evening when there's no more daylight [16:14] right so that's all day there's no difference from how we look at it today [16:20] right it's day time day time right [16:26] then we might say this is the calendar day well those are the two definite the same [16:31] two definition that the most high god just gave us just now he said in the day you got you got the light [16:38] then on top of that evening in the morning the cycle of the evening and the morning is also [16:46] one day right so that's a calendar day so now according to yahuwah we have two [16:52] definitions for day day could be daylight they could also be the calendar day which is the cycle of a full 24-hour [16:59] day you know roughly a 24-hour day right and that's what we need to understand [17:06] we need to be able to understand that and separate the two now once we know the definitions of the day what else do [17:12] we notice here what have we noticed so far about we read about a day the evening is first [17:18] the evening comes first right [17:24] if you look at america how when does a day start calendar day start midnight [17:29] midnight right starts 12 technically that's the start of a day does that feel like a [17:36] start of the day to any of us right it come out you at you you stay up [17:43] until midnight don't even realize it it's it's 1201. how many of them can be like man we on the phone and i'll just [17:50] talk to you tomorrow technically it's not tomorrow ain't it but it still feels like tomorrow [17:56] because you didn't go to sleep because technically the day starts at 12. [18:01] but when does your day really start wait when the day starts right when the [18:07] daylight comes out that's when the day really starts [18:12] right yes so that's that's what we deal with here you'll see in the bible you'll see a reference to the day right and [18:19] it's even more so than what we have now now we got cell phones and lights everywhere we got 24-hour jobs and all [18:25] types of stuff in las vegas right but you have to imagine in our culture back [18:30] in our day when we're talking about the times of the book a lot of that wouldn't have been the case [18:36] the time that people work would have been when the daylight is out [18:41] time to people sleep is during the evening right it wasn't a whole bunch of street lights there wasn't much so it's not a [18:47] whole bunch of people outside moving around we had no cars there was no safe travels you know i'm saying this night i [18:54] can't see nothing out there it could be all types of animals it could be i'm chilling where i can see this is when i [19:01] get my rest when i wake up i'm hitting the crops immediately you know what i'm saying it might be a little dark outside when i [19:07] started but that's when i'm hitting the crops so our day started with the daylight [19:13] right now our days don't necessarily have to start with daylight because guess what [19:18] i got a job and i might be on the phone and i'm servicing somebody all the way across the world [19:24] so i might have to wake up at three o'clock in the morning to make sure i'm nearing time for the people in the east [19:29] coast when they work when they wake up right that wasn't the case back then [19:34] right people were dealing with their own they didn't have a concept of time zones and none of that because we dealt with [19:40] the people that were right next to us right so everything was organized for the most part there's exceptions but [19:45] everything was organized for the most part to begin your day with the daylight right so when you see the references in [19:52] the bible to talk about on this day and do it on this day the thought honestly is talking about [19:59] the daylight portion of the day it don't make no sense to talk a whole lot about the evening portion of the day because [20:04] that was a time that was designated for rest and sleep okay so now we got that out of the way we [20:11] understand where did they start right the book say start where [20:16] evening in the morning and then what what the first day okay jump on down to a couple verses later let me hear about [20:23] the second day god said let the firmament in the midst of the waters [20:30] uh let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters and god made the [20:36] firmament and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament and it [20:41] was so and god called the firmament heaven and the evening and the morning were the [20:46] second day so again evening morning day two okay let's keep going [20:52] and god said let the waters under the heaven be gathered together into one place and let the dry land appear and it [20:58] will sow and god called the dry land earth in the gathering together of the waters called he sees and god saw that it was good [21:06] and god said let the earth bring forth grass the herb yielding seed and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind [21:13] whose seed is in itself upon the earth and it will sow and the earth brought your wife got me [21:19] self-conscious about drinking water i want you to know that and the earth brought forth grass and herb yielding [21:24] seed after his kind and the tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself after his kind and god saw that it was [21:29] good and the evening and the morning were the third day so again evening morning day three right keep going i [21:36] just want to see if we can figure something out here so how many days has there been so far [21:42] there's been three days so far based off of what we read right keep going and god said let there be [21:48] lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and for [21:54] seasons and for days and years so now lights were put into heaven [21:59] did it say just heaven or the firmament of heaven in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night [22:06] life was put i mean a light was put into the firmament of heaven what does permanent firmament mean like a space [22:12] space who's ever heard of outer space right so now firmament means space [22:19] so another way to say this is light was put in the space of the skies or the space of the the place above us [22:26] right keep going what lights are up there [22:33] who can name some lights that's out in space but shooting stars [22:53] aurora like where like the lights it's just like beaming lights i can't remember what [22:58] it's called me either but you're probably right what else is out there [23:03] the sun right what else [23:09] the moon right so the two biggest lights out there are what [23:15] the sun and the moon what's bigger so which one is better [23:22] if you touch the sun how you know [23:28] [Laughter] you touch the sun you probably will die [23:34] what up [Music] [23:42] okay on top of many other things i'm sure what else you what you [23:48] got which one is better sun or moon [23:54] the sun helps all the other planets right right because the sun the sun is what causes the light right [24:01] all the other planters absorb the light and reflect it right so they say that's what they say [24:06] that we're in right now sun is lighting us up with all this electricity okay [24:12] electricity i'm inside you getting there whatever [24:25] so if one was greater and one was lesser which one would be greater [24:30] which one would be lesser okay let's listen to it and let them be for lights in the [24:35] firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth and it was so god made two great lights the greater [24:41] light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night he made the stars also right so now we got some [24:47] definitions day he said this one rules the day is it talking about calendar day or is it [24:53] talking about the daylight day daylight day so when did this usage of the word [24:58] day he said the sun the greater light right is what he said the greater light [25:04] rules the day we recognize that to be the sun and then the lesser light we recognize [25:10] to be the moon rules the night right [25:15] and then what else [25:21] and god set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth and to rule over the day and over the [25:27] night and to divide the light from the darkness and god saw that it was good the evening and the morning were the [25:32] fourth day so now when the moon came did that reset the days [25:38] no when the sun came did it reset the days no it's we talked about day one we [25:44] talked about day two we talked about day three then all of a sudden [25:49] the sun was created and the moon was created [25:55] book told us that that happened on day four now let's just keep reading and let's see if the next day is day one [26:06] i know it sounds silly to a lot of people watching but there's some hebrew that believe is foolishness [26:12] they believe that the moon is what determines the starting of a week or start of a [26:19] month rather and if you start the month you got to start your day of the week that's that's day one of your week so [26:25] your sabbath is determined by the moon it's what they believe right we just heard that this the [26:33] seventh day right in leviticus the seventh day of the week is the sabbath ain't that what i said yeah well yeah so [26:40] if the seventh day of the week of the sabbath we need to figure out how do we count the days of the week if we count the days of the week based [26:46] off of the way the most high god does it then it's just one two three don't matter don't the sun the moon none of [26:52] that matter all the matter is one two three four that's it all that matters is how you reckon the [26:57] day you reckon a day by an evening and a morning that's one day now you count one two three four five [27:04] six seven of those the last day is gonna be seven and you restart one two three four five so it wouldn't matter if you [27:11] the moon fell out the sky guess what one two three it's an evening and it's a morning [27:17] you don't need a moon or the sun to have a day because those two didn't exist so if the [27:23] sun fell out of the sky and the moon fell off the sky there would still be light [27:28] in uh darkness as a cycle and as long as that's the case then [27:34] that's how you reckon your evening in the morning that's the most high god said that ain't me [27:39] right so i i struggle with the hebrew israelites to say we follow the lunar sabbath [27:47] because i can't find that in the book they have it look they said it be any [27:52] all day it'd be wednesday be like i'm about to keep the sabbath i'm looking like [27:58] right now yeah i'm like bro you early [28:04] you early i thought the christians were the earliest because they keep they [28:10] sabotaged on the first day of the week you know what i'm saying crazy get up in there early trying to y'all they beat us [28:16] through it every time i'm like man we just got off the sabbath now we starting off right now good night [28:21] gracious they told me it worked no no i don't work on sundays [28:27] do what you wanna do you know do what you want to do i don't see why we don't say you do what you want to do [28:33] you know what i mean because they got the other colleges at my school right now and uh uh byu or byu i think it's like [28:41] like the whole like catholic like that whole like group they don't play games on sundays oh no no they don't play that [28:47] stuff yeah i don't play that stuff almost i wanted to drive through it [28:52] chick-fil-a one time y'all got some darn i ain't never seen that type of christian stuff you better [28:58] open your darn butt up wrong job made me darn mad i was hungry [29:04] even uh in and out ain't got the nerves to do no foolish like that shut down all the doors on sunday [29:09] you gonna be a christian at least be a darn good christian to keep your doors open every day yeah i'm saying what's wrong with you [29:15] right so you look at this stuff and you see that's what they you know today they kind of confuse this thing if [29:20] you take your time you just go through the scripture a lot of this stuff just it's simplified and make it make sense [29:25] because you taking what the scriptures say as opposed to trying to read in to what you think into the scriptures it's [29:31] important to do that i praise the most high god for for the way that he brought us into it because me and t the thing [29:37] that we did we had never really bought in not in a negative way it's not like we [29:42] were skeptical of churches when we were growing up we had just never got so involved that it became a part of us you [29:49] know what i'm saying the most like god just not not intentionally or anything for in our part he just never he [29:55] preserved us because he never let us kind of you know just buy into it completely so it came to a point when we [30:01] started reading the book we got to learn from the book as it was written we didn't we didn't go nobody [30:07] taught us and told it was like yo this is what you should think about what you're reading we just read and be like yo y'all say did you see this yeah i'm [30:14] saying oh did you see that and we shared it with each other then we start having a bible study we just sat in a circle we didn't teach nobody ain't nobody teach [30:20] us we just say hey look look what i read last week and this is what i think about it what did you notice [30:26] like a nice little christian bible study but without the imagine a christian bible study without the christian pastor [30:32] to make everybody feel like they got a good point you know what christian bible says so what do you think about faith [30:37] very good yeah that is faith you can say some stupid stuff in there well faith to me faith to me is when i ride my bike [30:45] and i have training wheels on and i don't fall you know what jesus christ is like [30:50] training wheels right no matter what you say you're gonna be darn right with these darn christian pastors make your butt feel [30:56] good you're walking everything like goodness jesus is great he knows about feeling good that's why [31:02] these white people don't ever leave these darn churches they making to play with their players they aren't mental and stuff that stuff [31:08] is that stuff is cruel you can't do that stuff nobody mind telling people the truth give them a chance to tell you know like [31:14] a person should have a chance to look at you and be like no i don't like that i don't rock with god i appreciate the [31:21] person that look at me and be like i just i couldn't believe in i just i just can't serve a god that would allow x and [31:28] y like you mean to tell me he wanted us to be slaves in america i just can't i i just could never serve a god i can [31:35] appreciate that because it's like you know the truth and now you've been able to make a decision that i don't want to [31:40] serve this god now you're going to go right to hell for it but it doesn't you at least get to make a decision somebody [31:47] rob your decision make you feel like oh no jesus loves you no matter what you do they've just robbed you of your [31:54] opportunity to make a decision they put this pretty little voodoo on your brain and you think it's all hunky-dory when [32:00] in reality you're going right to hell at least i tell a man or woman you gonna go to hell if you do that you're going [32:06] right to darn hell you do that now they can look at it they can decide do i want to believe that or [32:12] not i gave it to him flat who ain't going to want to believe god love you no matter what you do [32:20] you getting all the fans you ain't even got no darn choice you got to believe some some crazy stuff like man that sounds darn good [32:27] i'll take that deal you can tell me imagine no seriously imagine you come from a broken home messed up home you [32:32] struggle with feeling love but you know it's out there and they get in your face and they get [32:38] the wisdom you know that little whisper christian voice let me tell you brother [32:43] god loves you too and they put they squint they darn god loves you too i [32:48] ain't never heard nobody whispering squinted darn eyes at me you tell he i ain't never met the man [32:54] and he loved me my mama and the hebrew israelites is right if the most high god is right it's gonna be day five just like regular arithmetic [38:30] would tell us right let's see and god said let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving [38:35] creature that has life and foul that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven and god created [38:41] great whales and every living creature that moves which the waters brought forth abundantly after their time [38:47] every wing foul after its kind and god saw that it was good and god blessed him [38:52] saying be fruitful and multiply fill the waters and the seas and let fowl multiply in the earth in the evening and [38:58] the morning were the fifth day or the what day fifth day okay so now that proves once and for all [39:05] that the moon has no bearing on the count of a day right so if we follow [39:12] this count we gonna get all the way to genesis chapter two we don't have to get it but the beginning of genesis chapter two tells us what day [39:20] thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the hosts of them and on the seventh day god ended his work [39:25] which he had made and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made so now the most high god rested [39:31] on the seventh day so now when we look at the sabbath that's told to us let's go back to uh [39:37] leviticus chapter 23 when we look at the sabbath that's given to us in leviticus [39:42] 23 it is based off of that week that the most high god created the world and [39:49] rested on the seventh day which is why we are to rest on the seventh day [39:54] right it's important that we understand that history and understand how that [39:59] works so now we know we have a day we know the definitions of the day it [40:05] could it can reckon the daylight right or day time of the day and also [40:12] the calendar day is what we would call it right the cycle of evening and morning right that is also a day so [40:18] we'll consider it a calendar day right so now we look at months [40:25] there's no definition specifically in the book around months all right [40:31] so what we've done here with the tardiar family we come up with a calendar [40:37] right in nowhere are we saying that this calendar is the exact calendar the hebrews used in ancient times and none [40:43] of that the calendar i'll explain very briefly how we came up with the calendar and why [40:48] we use this calendar the calendar is based off of seven week cycles [40:54] right when we look at the book the book never tells us [40:59] about a month right and the definition of a month how long a month have to be or anything [41:05] but in revelations when we see in revelations it gives us a few things it'll say [41:11] uh i forgot how many what is it is it is it i mean i mean is it [41:18] 100 [Music] i think it's a hundred something hundred something months [41:26] three it works out to be three and a half years how many months is that if you can [41:31] look at it 30 days uh for if you look at 30 days yeah oh i got to cheat yeah go [41:36] ahead and do that math well i guess we could just find it in the book too but um but yeah while he looking at it you know [41:43] i'm saying it gives us a number of months and when you break down those months and multiply it by 30 [41:49] right it gives you three and a half years in the book in another place in other places in revelations it actually [41:55] just tells you years years and half i mean uh time time half of times to tell you 42 months [42:02] it's three and a half years 42 months right so we look at 42 months you know [42:08] what i'm saying then we look at that if you do that division 42 months you know it also is referring to something else [42:13] in revelation where say three and a half years and you put those together and it's the same time period you like oh okay these are talking about the same [42:19] time period 42 months three and a half years would mean that each month is [42:25] 30 days right so we if we know that the general reference [42:32] of a month is 30 days and we have another event in the book that's not completely defined and called [42:38] out it's a appointed time that's not listed here in in uh exodus i'm sorry in [42:43] leviticus it's called the the new moon right new moon a lot of people say new moon is [42:50] it's it's it's uh translated as new moon but it actually is not truly new moon 1 [42:55] 260 days right so 1 260 days when you divide that [43:00] by the 42 that's going to give you 30 days right right [43:05] so now you look at new moon new moon is not really new moon if you look at [43:12] the hebrew word it's actually saying new what new month [43:17] it's not saying new moon is saying new month so it's translated as new moon which is why a lot of hebrews look at it [43:23] and they say new moon the month starts it's re to restart my day count but [43:29] that's not correct new moon is saying new month the hebrew word for it is new month [43:36] right so if we take the new month as a appointed time which is listed [43:42] throughout the book and it's referred to as the appointed time never explains to us in the law how we should celebrate [43:48] the new moon but in our scripture and in the uh the prophets it does reference [43:53] how that we kept the new moon as if it was a it was a point in time right so [43:58] you take that new moon then you read some of the books outside of the bible that gives you more context that's where you kind of get the uh seven week cycle [44:05] from the idea of the seven week cycle is something that enoch um refers to and there's something that uh [44:12] uh jesher refor refers to right so you get the seven week cycle you get the new [44:18] moon the new moon according to enoch is the beginning of a new cycle [44:23] right so you got three month quarters and every beginning of three month quarters you have a new [44:28] moon so when we look at it we would have the first month would have a new moon that month would be 31 days [44:35] every other month would be 30 days and then you get the next three set of three months the [44:40] next quarter right which would be the fourth month that has 31 days and then [44:46] 30 days outside of that so every month there's four new moons throughout the year with this reckoning so that's how [44:51] we built the calendar right so we're going to take a quick look at the calendar take take a quick little gander [44:56] at it you can find this on the website if anybody wants to use these calendars again this is not to say that these are [45:04] the you know i'm saying the most accurate calendar or anything like that i'm not putting no stance out there it's just a calendar that we decide to use to [45:12] stay consistent with how we keep the days knowing that the most high god is going to restore us to everything [45:18] once he uh once he returns to us and returns elijah to us so [45:24] this one is going to start the year um 3 18 that's in a couple weeks [45:29] right this will be the first day of a bib all right so let's grab a bib down here [45:37] this is how it's gonna look so on 3 18 that would be the beginning of months that's what the most high god [45:43] told to us in exodus when we were reading in uh last month right this is the beginning of months for us [45:49] all right then the second day of abib would be a sabbath then we count all the way down to the [45:55] 10th day of abid this is where we choose a lamb what do we read about that uh in [46:01] uh exodus and leviticus yeah that was exodus 12 yeah [46:08] all right that we choose the lamb remember you choose the lamb for the household and if if the household wasn't enough then you would share a land [46:14] between households right you choose a lamb then on the 13th day right according to the [46:21] gospels this is the day before uh before the passover is when uh they kept [46:29] the master supper you know i'm saying the christian calling the lord's supper right so we have that record in here the [46:35] master supper then the next thing is passover and that's what we started to read right now [46:40] and even so it's a passover at even on the 14th day which is technically [46:47] the 15th so that's the end of the 14th day in the start [46:53] and that it also starts the 15th day so we have passover technically [46:59] on the 15th day but it's kind of like we see midnight right [47:04] so think of think of how you deal with um new year's [47:10] new year's you stay up all night on new year's eve you know what i'm saying [47:15] and then on new year's eve that's when you do you're celebrating but it really crosses you over [47:21] into new year's day right so the celebration for new year's actually [47:28] begins new year's eve right and it crosses you over into new [47:33] year's day same way with passover passover begins the evening [47:39] right the night right right before the night of the 14th and then that evening [47:45] crosses you over into the 15th the evening of the 15th day right of the month [47:51] right so let's read from there and we're going to keep the calendar up so that we can kind of follow along with [47:57] the calendar remember this is the month of abib this is not looking at it's not looking at [48:02] our our calendar it's looking at uh the reckoning of the hebrew calendar that we put together in the 14th day on the [48:08] first month that even is the lord's passover uh-huh and on the 15th day of the same month is the feast of [48:13] unleavened bread unto the lord right so now when it calls out even specifically [48:19] you know that specifically the most i got is talking about the night time he's talking about the evening time right so [48:25] the 14th day of even that would end the 14th day that would begin the 15th day [48:32] right then he says on the 15th day he doesn't say anything about even so now we can [48:37] assume that he's talking about the daylight time so in the daylight hours of the 15th day what's going on [48:43] the feast of unleavened bread this is the feast of unleavened bread the appointed time of unleavened bread hey [48:50] y'all better be quiet down there let's go seven days you must eat [48:56] unleavened bread right so you can see that this is a darker orange right so all the appointed times we put a color [49:02] to them but this is a darker orange right so this being a darker orange is [49:07] telling you that this is a holy convocation no work [49:13] right so this is just like a sabbath for us keep going [49:19] and the first day you should and the first day you shall have a holy convocation you shall do no servile work [49:25] therein you shall offer an offering made by fire to the lord seven days right [49:30] part of passover is to offer an offering made by fire what type of offering is [49:35] that that's a burnt offering right part of passover is to offer a [49:42] burnt offering so now let's have a candid discussion are we really keeping [49:47] passover no why not at all you can't [49:52] right so for all my law keeping hebrews you have to first acknowledge that you're [49:57] not keeping the passover according to our law no matter how you do it so not only is your calendar not right [50:04] right ours either not trying to say you know i'm saying i don't believe ours is right either right but not only is our calendar is not right but we also when [50:10] we try to keep him we pull our lamb together even if we try to choose our lamb on the 10th day well we're not [50:16] sacrificing that lamb okay and let's say even if we decide to sacrifice the lamb against what the law would say [50:21] we're not making an offering by fire according to what the law would say and you don't have a priest to do it [50:29] god got that all that's all that got that no priest because we don't know who the sanjay aaron is therefore we can't [50:36] make the sacrifice therefore we're not keeping the passover right so everything that we do we're doing it in the order [50:44] right we're we're doing it in the spirit spirit and truth of the passover we're not doing it in in we're not actually [50:51] keeping the law and doing this we're actually in violation of the law right we are going against the law now [50:58] people find that excusable the law keeping you know i'm saying hebrews they find that excusable because they say [51:04] well we can't do that which is fine i'm not going to argue with anybody this studies right just like we do on the sabbath nights right it'll be studies all right [53:41] so that's what we're gonna do all this year and we're gonna start it on uh what day is that [53:48] we're gonna start it uh 4-1 april 1st that's why that's that's when [53:54] we gonna uh that's when we gonna have uh the first day of unleavened bread right [54:01] that would be no work so we need to neither bread nor [59:02] parched corn nor green ears until the self-same day that ye have brought an offering unto [59:07] your god it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations and all count 50 days [60:44] and you shall offer a new meat offering unto the lord you shall bring out your out of your habitations two wave loaves [60:52] of two tenth deals they shall be a fine flower they shall be bacon with leaven [60:58] they are the first fruits unto the lord right so these are sacrifices again this would have to go to who [61:04] uh the priest the sons of aaron they'd have to go to the priest right so anybody who's trying to keep this [61:09] technically we're not keeping it we can keep the spirit of it we keep the order right but technically we're not keeping [61:15] it according to the law right keep going you shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year [61:21] and one young bullock and two rams they shall be for a burnt offering unto the lord with their meat offering and their [61:28] drink offerings even an offering made by fire of sweet savor unto the lord then [61:33] you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering in two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace [61:38] offering and the pre-show waved them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before the lord with the [61:44] two lambs they shall be holy to the lord for the priest and ye shall proclaim on the self-same day that it may be a holy [61:50] convocation unto you or what holy convocation unto you so this lands on a sunday right [61:57] this sunday is a holy convocation right that means no work it should be done and we come together and we set [62:04] ourselves apart for the most high god right so it'd be you know i'm saying just like we are today getting together [62:10] talking about the most high god all right so it's a holy convocation what else we got it's the feast of weeks is [62:15] what we call it right it's also called uh feast of uh harvest [62:21] and um pentecost is what it's called in the new testament right it's that that comes from the greek rendering of 50 days [62:29] right any other name for it i think that's it first fruit is also called first fruit right so the feast of [62:35] harvest feast of uh weeks first fruit and pentecost are the four names you can [62:41] find for this one all referring to the exact same day it's just a different different way of calling this [62:47] you shall do no serve our work therein it shall be a statute forever and all your dwellings throughout month that begins a quarter [63:40] we talked about that also being a what a new moon a new moon what they call new moon but a new month right and that was [63:48] also a pointed uh point in time for thing about this [64:36] calendar is based off of weeks so you'll see that some people try to base their calendar off of the moon [64:42] right they'll look at it and say well the month starts when you see the first slither of the moon and all that and [64:48] when you do that your days are all over the place right every year is totally different [64:55] it never falls on the same day right it's all over the place and then they find themselves after a few years [65:01] they have to they have to double up the month of adar right if you look at a lot of these people calendars when they base it off [65:07] of the moon they have to double up the month of adar they gotta say is it they call it a dollar one and a dart too [65:15] i can't do that because it's like i don't i don't see that in the book when you do this by weeks [65:21] right it's almost exact to a year the cycle of a year right because you got 52 weeks [65:29] and with 52 weeks you almost exactly get to a cycle of the year as a matter of fact 52 weeks after seven [65:36] years you'll be off right guess what you have to add to get [65:42] back on one day one week so if every seven years you add a week [65:48] to your calendar you back on cycle right now there's nothing in the book talking [65:54] about adding a week or a month or anything in the cycle so that's why i say i ain't gonna say none of these calendars is right [66:00] but i know one thing comes from the most i got and the most high god only when it comes to our calendars [66:06] it's the week right now today we know comes from the most high god too [66:11] but there's other people that might be able to like our try to play claim to that and say oh no we started today [66:17] right the one thing that came nobody say they started is the week the only thing that came from the most [66:23] like god so guess what i like a calendar of me personally this ain't got nothing to do with what god commanded nothing me [66:28] personally i like the calories based off of the week now when the most like guy come back he'll set it straight and we'll figure out what calendar is right [66:35] and how we should reckon time but this one i think it keeps it organized it's a very clean way of looking at it right so [66:41] let's keep going also the 10th day of the seventh month shall be a day of atonement it shall be [66:47] a holy convocation unto you and you shall afflict your souls and offer an offering made by fire unto the lord [66:53] you shall do no work in that same day it is a day of atonement to make an atonement for you before the lord your [66:59] god right when he say afflict your souls what does that mean fast fast so when we get to day of atonement that's exactly [67:05] what we're gonna do we're gonna fast right keep going for whatsoever soul it be [67:11] that shall not be afflicted in that same day he shall be cut off from among his people and whosoever whatsoever soul it be that [67:18] does any work in that same day the same soul will i destroy from among his people you shall do no manner of work it shall [67:25] be a statute forever throughout your generations and all your dwellings it shall be unto you a sabbath of rest and [67:30] you shall afflict your souls in the ninth day of the month at even from even unto even shall you sell uh [67:36] celebrate your sabbath so now what did you notice about this what did you notice that he said [67:41] differently here this one got a judgment on it got a judgment what else [67:48] on the ninth day of the month what you should do no man or work it shall be a statute throughout your generations [67:54] all your drilling it should be your sabbath of breasts inflict your souls he said on the ninth day of the month [67:59] ninth day of the month at even from even to even shall you celebrate your sabbath this is another one where he's telling [68:06] us specifically the evening right so he don't say this for all of them most of the time he just say this is the [68:13] day so then we can assume that he's referring to the daylight time [68:18] on this one specifically he's saying no no no he said this starts on the 10th day of [68:23] the month you start start you start celebrating it the evening right you start on the ninth day of the [68:30] month that evening right which means that ends the ninth day of the month and that brings you to [68:36] the full tenth day the calendar day so this is celebrated the full calendar day so then when do we start fasting [68:43] uh and evening on the night we look at the night so if we see evening coming in that ends the ninth [68:49] day we start fasting yeah we start the 10th and we do it from that evening [68:55] and then the morning so from evening to the next evening [69:01] that's where we're doing it all right very specific when he called it out the [69:06] evening specific we know what he's talking about if he leave it out it's okay if we want to assume that he's just [69:11] talking about the day like some people they look at the sabbath and they say well the most like god don't say keep the sabbath from evening the evening and [69:18] that's fair because he don't he just say sabbath day so it's fine to keep the sabbath just during the daytime because [69:25] there's no law to say that that's what that's wrong right me personally you know i'm saying i like to consider the [69:31] whole calendar day for the sabbath just because to me that's just a lot more comfortable but nevertheless there's no law i can't call [69:38] nobody a sinner according to the law right because that's not what the law don't say nothing about the evening for [69:44] the sabbath right keep going [69:50] and the lord spoken to moses saying speak to the children of israel saying the 15th day of the seventh month [69:56] shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the lord on the first day shall be a holy convocation you shall do no service work [70:03] therein all right so this year that would get us on uh september 30th the 15th day of the [70:09] seventh month right that would be what a friday so it'd be no work we want to take that [70:14] day off then the next day is a sabbath for us a regular weekly sabbath for us so that's two days that we we rest and we have no [70:22] work then after that what else seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire unto the lord [70:27] on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation unto you right so then the eighth day is going to take us to another friday [70:34] right that's gonna be another holy convocation so we'll be getting together those uh two fridays in the daytime uh [70:41] again and then also and then we'll have sabbath studies as well right [70:46] and you shall offering an offering made by fire unto the lord it is a solemn assembly and you shall do no work therein [70:52] these are the feasts of the lord which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations to offer an offering made by fire unto the lord [70:58] a burnt offering and a meat offering a sacrifice and drink offerings everything upon his day [71:06] beside the sabbath of the lord and beside your gifts and beside all your vows and beside all your freeway offerings which you shall give to the [71:12] lord which you give to the lord also on the 15th day of the seven month when you have gathered in the fruit of the land [71:17] you shall keep the feast of the lord seven days on the first day shall be a sabbath on the eighth day shall be a [71:22] sabbath and you shall take to you you shall take you on the first day the bowls of goodly trees all right [71:29] you're taking the branches of good trees right what else branches of palm trees and a [71:35] bowls of thick trees and willows of the brook and you shall rejoice before the lord your god seven days [71:41] and you shall keep it a feast unto the lord seven days in the year it shall be a statute forever in your [71:47] generations you shall celebrate it in the seventh month you shall dwell in booths seven days he said going to dwell [71:53] in booths what is a booth tent a tent right [71:58] so when it comes this year gonna be the first time that we actually celebrated intense [72:04] right watch what he said keep going all that are israel's born shall dwell [72:10] in booths that your generations may know that i made the children of israel dwell in booths when i brought them up out of [72:16] the land of egypt i am the lord your god and moses declared unto the children of israel the feast of the lord [72:22] that's it so now that brings us to the end of chapter 23.
