Summary
Why should we count it all joy when we fall into diverse temptations? In this Sabbath lesson, Galatians 1 and Acts 1 show the difference between Paul, an apostle not of men, and Matthias, chosen by lot, while James 1 is written to the twelve tribes scattered abroad and teaches that the trying of our faith works patience. Through Exodus 8 and James 1, you’ll see how double-minded Pharaoh wavered after every plague, why God tempts no man, and why we must be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, and doers of the word and not hearers only. Finally, James 2 and 3, with Genesis 15 and 22, Luke 10, Mark 12, John 8 and Matthew 12, teach that faith without works is dead, that the royal law of liberty comes through Yahushua, and that by our words we are justified or condemned.
