Summary
Are we still babies who can only drink milk? In this Sabbath lesson from Isaiah 28 and 1 Corinthians 3, we learn that being carnal means living by the flesh, and Galatians 5 lists those works of the flesh, including divisions and factions, that keep a person out of the kingdom. You’ll also see from Solomon and Isaac that children inherit the results of a father’s obedience, and from Proverbs 16 that mercy and truth purge iniquity, so bringing our struggles into the light helps us turn from sin. Finally, Isaiah 28, Hebrews 6 and Proverbs 9 and 13 show that the word remains a puzzle to the carnal mind, that hope deferred makes the heart sick, and that only the fear of Yahuah opens the door to true wisdom.
