right so remember we had this big Temple [06:41] it's right next to the kingdom of Judah right and they hit him inside of that [06:46] Temple inside of that structure where the priest would normally operate and that's just somewhere where people weren't allowed to go right so that's a [06:53] good hiding spot for the kid so now the kid is in there with the nurse and the nurse is taking care of [07:00] the kid while athalia is just running amok right and this is happening over a span of six years [07:06] keep going in the seventh year jehoiada sent in fact the rulers over hundreds with the [07:12] captains of the guard and brought them in and brought them to him into the house of the Lord and made a covenant [07:19] with them and took an oath of them in the house of the Lord and showed them the King's son and he commanded them saying this is the [07:26] thing that you shall do a third part of you that enter in on the Sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the [07:31] King's house in the third part shall be at the Gate of Sir in the third part at the gate behind the guard so shall ye [07:38] keep the watch of the house that it be not broken down a man named jehoiah that comes by and [07:46] jehoiada looks at he starts to put together a plan he's looking like okay the boy is getting older now right that [07:53] means the risk is increasing right we might be able to pass for a baby like she may not know what's going on but as [07:59] the boy gets older the wrists start to increase so he said you know what we're going to take we're going to take the [08:04] gates right [08:17] and so he made he made the a certain group of soldiers and captains keep [08:22] watch over the boy just to protect them watch this in the third part of the gate behind the [08:29] [11:55] break it down his altars and his images they break in pieces thoroughly and flew [12:01] Matan the priest of bayel before all before the altars and the priests anointed officers over the house of [12:07] yahuwah and he took the rulers over hundreds and captains over the guard and all the people of the land that they [12:13] brought down the king from the house of yahuwah and came by the way of the Gate of the Guard to be the Kings to the [12:19] King's house and he sat on the throne of the Kings and all the people of the land rejoiced and the city was in quiet and [12:25] they slew at the liar with the sword beside the King's house seven years old was Jehovah when he began to reign [12:32] all right so he was only seven he was a seven-year-old right he was a seven-year-old when he [12:38] began to reign it's important to know that because we we [12:44] sometimes we've been uh we've been conditioned [12:51] to to think of of of Ages as a complete limiter but sometimes [12:58] sometimes it's due to put heavy responsibilities on children [13:04] sometimes there's no option there's no choice and this is an extreme example but there was no choice here because the [13:10] options were let the seed of David not continue [13:15] with um uh with passing down the kingdom or [13:23] let him rule so we had to save this kid he's the only kid he's a baby at the time we nurse him [13:30] up until he's six at seven years old it's time for this boy to become king and once he's King [13:36] now we have something that the people can get behind and then the people then ride up on atalia and they take out the [13:44] LIE out but this is still a seven-year-old boy so now we have to think about what [13:50] advantage does this seven-year-old boy have versus maybe his father or his [13:57] father's father all right what advantage might he have [14:04] he was raised by the priest that boy was raised by the priest now [14:10] remember we talked about a couple weeks ago we was abundant in goodness and Truth keeping Mercy thousands for giving iniquity and [15:29] transgressions and sin and that by no means no means does he clear the guilty [15:38] you understand it's it's it's this is a very difficult concept [15:43] to understand especially after we've been indoctrinated by uh Islam and by [15:50] Judaism and by Christianity and Hebrew israelitism and and all these other isms [15:56] that you can think of right when you when you've already been confused and taught to look at something [16:01] a certain way it's harder to kind of erase and look at it the appropriate way so what this is saying is he's saying [16:09] listen I forgive sin and I have mercy right and I forgive iniquity all that [16:16] however by no means do I clear the guilty right and it's because what happens is [16:24] God is a mo he's he's a god of promises right so if he says if you sin you shall [16:31] die and if you sin you are cursed guess what You Gotta Die and you got to be cursed [16:38] that's book there's no way around it and that's what our law tells us right but on the other hand he's saying I will [16:45] also forgive you everybody who loves me I'll forgive you I have mercy on you so he has to find a [16:53] way Mozart guy has to find a way to make both of those statements true and apparently to the naked eye these [17:00] would be contradictory statements right I have mercy on you I'll I'll [17:05] forgive you but on the other time you gonna be guilty and nobody who's guilty is going to be [17:12] clear and there's certain things that we've learned throughout our knowledge of the [17:18] book is you know all people fall short all right no man goes without sin all [17:25] these different things that we've learned and we understand them to be factual then he come back and he tells us by no [17:31] means has he cleared the guilty well everybody has been guilty but then they're forgiven [17:39] so what does it mean to be forgiven let's let's remind ourselves of our interaction with David we don't have to get it but if if you remember David was [17:48] speaking to Nathan the prophet Nathan the prophet gave him a scenario right he gave him a [17:55] parable and after David heard that Parable it was related to sheep after David heard [18:01] that Parable he said oh the man that did that to the Sheep to die right and then Nathan came back to David [18:10] and said you are that man because remember David had Uriah killed [18:18] because David slept with uriah's wife right so not only did he commit adultery [18:24] but he also had a man killed as a result of that right to try to cover it up to [18:29] try to hide it so the most I got was very angry about that he sent Nathan the prophet to him [18:36] and Nathan the prophet told him everything that was going to happen to him it happened to his family right at [18:43] the very end of it David confessed his sin he said I have sinned and the most high God said don't [18:49] even worry about it I put away the sin right I pardoned it essentially right so I've forgiven it I put it away you know [18:56] I'm saying I made it disappear all right so the most I got let him know that he made his sin disappear [19:03] now normally you would think okay I'm no longer guilty [19:08] but the very next verse after the Mozart God tell him that he put away the sin he [19:13] says but as a result of the stuff you did your son is gonna die [19:22] and then all the things before David confesses said that uh Nathan told him was going to happen all those things [19:28] still happened as well even after the most high God said I put away the sin [19:34] so there's a reason for that grab uh what is it Hebrews Hebrews 10 [19:42] who's he looking for it is appointed once [19:49] it's Hebrews 9. give me Hebrews 9 chapter 20 uh chapter [19:54] 9 verse 27. [20:06] is Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27. [20:21] as it is appointed unto men wants to die but after this judge the judgment [20:28] so the Messiah was once offered to Bear sins of many and unto them that look for [20:34] him shall he appear the second time without sin or unto the salvation so now you have to understand how these [20:41] things are set up the most high God can say to a person I'll forgive your sins because the [20:47] Messiah beared the sins of many everybody who's saying he took over [20:52] their sins right so then he died and was resurrected the [20:59] next time we see the man he ain't gonna be carrying no sin [21:04] the next time he's coming back for judgment so that's why the book is saying it's appointed once for a person [21:11] to die that is the guilty because every man is guilty therefore [21:16] Every Man Has To Die so the moral of the story is the things [21:23] that we deal with in our flesh that is the that is the response of [21:29] guilt and the consequence of sin so it's different things that we might [21:35] struggle with different things that may ail us maybe we have a disease or a [21:40] sickness or a disorder we was born with maybe maybe life is just difficult for [21:46] us it doesn't seem like we get a lucky break right things just happened to us [21:54] maybe we have generational curses things that our family did or things that we did and it gets passed down to [22:00] us we deal with the consequences of it maybe we made silly decisions younger and from those decisions we have we have [22:08] split families or we have we have uh we have uh infighting or we have things [22:14] that we got to deal with from some of our negative decisions we got prison time we gotta we got a record we gotta [22:20] register as a as a sex offender or we got you know I'm saying whatever we got to do we have to deal with these things [22:26] based off of decisions that we made in the past and it wouldn't matter if the most odd guy spoke to us as a prophet [22:33] and the most Our God said to us hey are forgiven all of your sin [22:39] guess what until you die by no means is the guilty [22:45] clear so what happens is instead you have to die and then in the resurrection is when [22:52] the forgiveness is fulfilled you have Christians walking around today and what they say in their mind is oh I [23:00] remember the day I got saved and what happens is that throws their [23:06] minds off because they're looking at it as if they they've already accomplished [23:11] something like this grab Romans chapter eight I ain't I wasn't even trying to talk today [23:17] we really need to get through this stuff but it's important that we understand some of this stuff grab Romans chapter eight I have no idea what verse we're [23:24] gonna try to muddle through this thing but let's say verse 28 Romans chapter 8 verse 20. that's the same Messiah that we're waiting for now but we had no idea the [26:57] man was gonna come as a very humble servant someone who [27:02] didn't have coldliness that he should be desired and then he would die on the [27:07] cross we thought he was going to be a warrior so we had to have that Curiosity although we know and we have faith that [27:14] is going to come out how it's going to come out we have to have the Curiosity to say how is this going to play out [27:21] play for play and be open to how the most high God is [27:26] going to do it it's too many of us that walk around so we there's certain things [27:31] that people think are air people think having faith according to the scripture is arrogance [27:37] people will look at you because you are confident in the book and you won't let nobody move you from what the book say [27:44] they tell you you arrogant [27:49] when the true arrogance is somebody walking around without a lick of knowledge of the book and feeling like [27:55] you know what this is absolutely how God is operating [28:01] I can walk around and act like God has already saved me when the whole book is telling you you should be having hope [28:07] for the resurrection these people walk around like the most [28:12] high God is already written giving them a flesh of heart and already written his laws on their heart they think this [28:19] stuff has already happened in Iman and they had a nerve to call People Like Us arrogant [28:26] and what do we do we just stand by the word and stick by what it said [28:31] because it's backwards we've been confused and then honestly it ain't their fault it gonna be that far before [28:38] God if they don't repent but it ain't they ain't the root cause of it they've been taught this stuff [28:45] and the person who taught them somebody taught them this stuff [28:51] I thank God the most high God is giving us a mind and an opportunity to learn it [28:56] but even in that we shouldn't rest in that we have to actually learn it and walk in [29:02] it otherwise we will be in the exact same position we think we got something we'll think we [29:09] know something we'll think we understand it better and we'll be in the exact same position if it's not coupled with the [29:15] love of God when I say love of God that means love according to his commandment not no not [29:20] no made up love that people see now love people see now people it's self-serving that's why people lie to [29:27] each other that's what people tell you they call it White Lies you tell a white lies because [29:33] you trying to control how somebody see you you don't want them to know you don't want them to know how you really feel [29:38] about them or what you really think about them because you're trying to control what they think about you [29:43] you don't tell a white lie because of the other person you're telling them for yourself because you're weak [29:49] right you weak and you scared this person might not accept you you scared that if you tell them oh no I don't [29:54] actually don't like that dress much no actually I know I actually do think those shoes no no no I actually don't [30:01] tell them lies that's what you told me but the reason why you tell them lie because you're trying to control how people see you [30:41] right and people look at that as humility right somebody telling tell a person the truth when they tempted to tell a white lie instead of telling a white lie they [30:59] just tell them the truth they look at that person maybe it's rude or disrespectful they look at that [31:04] person they look at that person as a unnecessary negative right [31:10] but that's how it works because what's good is going to be called bad that's what's happening right [31:15] now all we got to do is stand on this word you have to understand you have to set [31:20] yourself up with the expectation that these people if God's word is true [31:27] and the majority of people at 10 but you can start to examine your own life and you can say okay now I see how [52:25] I fit in the book now I see the characteristics that I have that are like some of the some of the the [52:31] individuals that we reading about and now the Bible becomes practical [52:37] right and that's what that's what's necessary it has to be something that we can practice [52:42] grab real quick grab because the book we have to be prepared and have [55:59] certainty about who we serve who we are and what correct decisions look like [56:05] if we don't have that certainty if we if we're not certain on what is what what [56:10] is required to have uh faith what is required to see God [56:16] then we'll be confused because yes a Christian is going to come up to you and say no no no it's not
