do not obey him it has made manifest or made obvious that you do not [00:36] believe in this day you should expect no good thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether it be a [00:43] gift of tongues a gift of prophecy or any supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against [00:49] you in the day of judgment with that said peace to the saints that are in the room to the saints they couldn't make it [00:54] but no peace to the wicked the only thing we say to them is repent that they might [01:00] live i'll see i hear that ill now boy look just completed the day of [01:35] uh the 25th of uh elul you know what i'm saying that's the [01:40] sixth month so we're about to go into the seventh month um and as we approach the seventh month [01:47] uh the first day of the seventh month which is going to be in a couple weeks uh is gonna be a um [01:53] uh a uh a sabbath for us you know what i'm saying so it's gonna be a holy convocation so that's gonna be the day [01:59] at trumpets that's coming up pretty soon here and i ain't got no darn money so we're gonna have to make this thing happen you know what i'm saying but you [02:05] know we're gonna enjoy ourselves and shortly after that we'll have a uh the day of atonement [02:10] and then uh after that we'll have uh the the end gathering and that'll complete the feast of the hebrew year all ought [02:18] to be in the seventh month which again is approaching in a couple of weeks um but right now we're in the book of [02:24] judges and i put this on on the screen so we can kind of keep track of the judges [02:29] that we've talked about so last week we talked about oath niel right nathaniel he uh he he was the [02:36] first judge that was introduced to us um and he helped us conquer the land you [02:41] know kind of get things back because the most high god for our disobedience he calls us to live in servitude to some of [02:47] the neighboring countries that we had some of the people that we didn't really push out he called us to be in servitude to him [02:53] for a while so after after we had servitude after a while passed he raised up judges for us [02:59] to go and defend our honor and avenge us we kind of talked about how how the word judges is not necessarily somebody who [03:06] hears a case and decides one way versus the other the word judges the the usage [03:11] of the word is really really more so talking about avengers somebody who who who who assigns [03:18] vengeance for for a grievance you know what i'm saying that's a that's another role of a judge right one thing that a [03:24] judge does is the judge hears both sides when we think of a judge he hears both sides but at the end of it after hearing [03:30] both sides the judge will assign a punishment based off of based off of uh [03:36] you know based off of whatever that decision is the judge decide what what punishment should be [03:41] there so that punishment is called vengeance or the vengeance or [03:46] avenging the person who complains if that decision falls in that direction so now what we're looking at is avengers [03:53] right so it's a better way to look at it when we look at judges we're looking at avengers so our first uh avenger or [03:59] judge with othniel then next we talked about uh e-hud right and remember e-hud he was the one [04:06] young said he took the knife and he stabbed it inside of the you know i'm saying the king's stomach and the king was fat you know i'm saying remember the [04:12] book say the dirt came out you know what i'm four score years uh give me 29 then [05:17] and they slew uh and they slew of moab at that time about ten thousand men and [05:22] leslie and all men of valor all lustly and all men are valid uh-huh and their [05:28] escape not a man uh-huh lusty so so moab was subdued that day [05:33] under the hand of israel and the land had rest four score years and after him was shamgar the son of anath which judges that we talked about before our other avengers [07:24] were a little different right so far we ain't really had no adventure tell us you know to have you [07:29] know get to telling nobody what god is saying and what god wants them to do right but deborah immediately when they [07:35] come to her for vengeance the first thing she say is look did not the most high god get this into your [07:41] hand so what does that make her when she starts telling people what god is saying a prophet right if she tell them the [07:49] truth it make her a prophet right so deborah is a prophet she's a little [07:54] different from the other uh the other judges the other judges were warriors right that we read about so far but she [08:01] wasn't merely a warrior she was a prophet watch what happened
