y'all the gift of the holy spirit so they stayed [03:20] and on the Feast of Weeks that's when the gift came and it hit a lot of the disciples and so when everybody that [03:27] that came from all these different countries right these are our our people these are Israelites right but they live [03:33] in different countries so when they came from these different countries everybody heard them in the language of the [03:38] country that they came from so they all speak in different languages when the spirit hit the disciples the disciples [03:45] started to speak but each individual person heard them in a different language so it's like one person [03:50] speaking but you hear them hear me in one language you hear me in a different language but I'm only saying it one time [03:56] you know what I'm saying so when they looking at it they looking like what in the world is this some people thought they was drunk so when they start to [04:04] talking like muming around they like no man lame man which was held which was healed held Peter and John all [07:38] the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's greatly wondering and when Peter saw it he [07:45] our fathers has glorified his son yahushua whom you delivered up and [09:10] denied him in the presence of pilate when he was determined to let him go but ye denied the Holy One and the just and [09:17] desired a murderer be guard granted unto you and kill the Prince of Life whom God [09:22] hath raised from the dead whereof we Are Witnesses and his name through faith in [09:27] his name has made this man strong whom ye see and know yay the faith which is [09:33] by him has been given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all [09:38] right so now he used that as an opportunity to explain who yahushua was [09:43] right he used it as an opportunity to be like this is yahushua who did this he's behind all this let me explain to you [09:52] right so that's what all this was about when we remember when we read a couple weeks ago that um that you know what I'm [09:58] saying they'll be able to heal and cast out demons and and and and all these different Miracles that that the most [10:05] high God gave to the uh disciples when we read that remember I mentioned I'm like the reason that the most high God [10:12] gave that to the apostles and some of the disciples is because he needed to give them evidence he needed to give [10:18] them signs and wonders so that people would be like whoa what's happening which would give them an opportunity to [10:24] teach the word right he had to create a movement that would not just last in [10:30] that time but then would last all the way into the time that we're in now to the point that none of us have seen a [10:36] miracle like that right however we still many of us still emphatically believe [10:41] what's in the scripture and the reason is is because that belief has been we [10:47] like one person was convinced because they saw a miracle right so like Peter and the disciples was convinced because [10:54] they saw yahua do Miracles right and then the next people that believed on [10:59] and them they saw Peter do Miracles and then those people were recipients of the [11:05] Miracles then they go talk to people and then they believe it because it's like I heard it from somebody that I know a [11:11] miracle happened to and then they get passed down to them it's like I heard it from somebody that I trust and he heard [11:17] it from somebody who he heard a miracle happen to and he heard it from somebody who did the miracle and they get passed [11:23] down like that but because it's written right the The credibility of the time [11:29] cuz everybody heard it from somebody who heard it from somebody who they all trust it only happens that way because [11:36] they really believe it because they really have evidence right so it's like the most high God the only way for that [11:42] to happen is for the most high God to create that evidence create those signs and wonders that would excite people so [11:50] much that they're fully convinced that now trustworthy incredible credible people start to spread the gospel right [11:57] had those Miracles not happened it would have been a lot harder right you would have had people that are a lot less [12:02] credible people that probably wouldn't have believed on nothing because it's like man what's the evidence right but [12:08] that's not how it played out keep going hey if y'all gonna play y'all gotta go in the room Maya y'all go in the [12:21] room and now [12:26] Brethren and now brother and I what that through as ye did it as did also your rulers but those things which God [12:34] beforehand showed by the mouth of All His prophets that the Messiah should suffer he hath so fulfilled repent ye [12:41] therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out when the time of the refreshing shall come from the restitution of all things which God has spoken by the mouths of all of all [13:16] his holy prophets since the world began right that's another one the time of restitution of all things that's also [13:23] another way to say the time of the refreshing right restitution when you talk about restitution that's saying and [13:29] payback when you hear somebody say you got to pay restitution or somebody somebody has to uh uh return restitution [13:37] that's talking about Payback right so the time of the refreshing and the time of payback is talking about the same [13:43] general time period it's talking about when the most high God is going to judge the world and when he G to choose his [13:48] Saints out of the world right and the Saints are gonna be chosen from the disciples right keep [13:56] going for Moses truly said unto the fathers a prophet shall the a prophet [14:01] shall Yahweh your God raise up unto you of your brethren like unto me him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he [14:07] shall say unto you and it shall come to pass that every soul which will not hear that Prophet shall be destroyed from [14:14] among the people right so he's quoting from from uh from uh [14:20] Deuteronomy right he quoting from Moses you remember when when yah told Moses he like you know what I'm saying I'mma [14:25] raise up a prop Prophet from the Brethren that's what Peter is quoting right now so notice when Peter start [14:32] preaching whenever he's talking about yahushua whenever he's trying to tell people about yahushua I want y'all to [14:38] notice what he's doing he talks and then he calls out scripture and then talks [14:43] and calls out another scripture and sometimes he weave them together right that's important because it shows you [14:50] how he was teaching right it shows you what a true teacher of the most high God do a true teacher of the most high God [14:57] and not gonna read one little verse and then talk for six hours no he's weaving scripture together [15:05] to prove something to you because that's how the word has to be understood a little bit here and a little bit there [15:11] line upon line precept upon precept right keep high priest were gathered together at Jerusalem and when they had [18:12] set them in the midst they asked by what power by what name have you done this [18:17] right so they asked him when you healed blasphemy right because he made himself [20:28] God they killed yahua because he he said that he would tear down the temple he was really talking about his [20:35] body but they thought he was talking about the temple or at least they made it it made people to think that he talking about the temple so they they [20:43] set yahushua up and killed him now you have yahushua's followers they know that [20:48] these are yahushua's followers so now what they trying to do put him in a in a corner are you going to say you did that [20:55] by the most high God or are you going to say you did that by yahua right and the [21:01] reason why they asking that question because we have a law for this watch this is uh Deuteronomy chapter 13 verse [21:07] one watch what the book say if there arise any among you a prophet or a [21:12] dreamer of dreams and giveth thee a sign or a wonder and the sign or wonder come to pass whereof he spake unto thee [21:17] saying let us go after other gods which thou has not known and let us serve them Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of [21:24] that Prophet or that dreamer of dreams for your God proveth you to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all your [21:31] heart and with all your soul right he said Yahweh your God proveth you in other words it's a test right so listen [21:39] to what our law this is our law that tells us it says listen if anybody come [21:45] and they do a miracle and the miracle that they talking about it comes to pass [21:51] they say a prophecy and what they prophesy about it actually happens right he he's not talking about [21:58] somebody who's tricking you who's playing some Voodoo doing a little magic got a little trick going no no no he's [22:04] saying somebody who actually had done something miraculous this person has [22:10] actually spoken a prophecy however if after they do it [22:15] they say hey come with me let's go after this other God the most high God said do [22:21] not listen to that Prophet this is a test from the most high God so the most [22:27] high God is acknowledging right here in our law that there will be people that can do legitimate Miracles there's [22:34] legitimate people that could do that could uh uh have uh uh foresight and do [22:40] legitimate prophecy and still not be of him that's important for us to know [22:46] because we sometimes get caught up in the signs and the Wonders that's what we like we're right now our people are So [22:53] Thirsty to just see signs and wonders so much so that you got all these Christian [22:59] pastors and all these people that fake these Miracles and they slap people with the you know what I'm saying just slap people with the with the little towel [23:06] you know I'm saying and then they fall all out shaking like they got the Holy Spirit and all that and that stuff be having people moving when they start [23:12] playing the organ and all that like all that for us is signs and wonders like we like to think and feel like the the [23:19] spirit is moving in the place and because we're so thirsty for it one day there's going to be some person that [23:26] actually has a miracle it ain't going to be it ain't going to be something that you can only watch on TV but when you visit the the the church you never had [23:32] that experience no it's going to be somebody that is legit it's gonna be [23:37] real people like no I couldn't walk all my life and I spoke to this man and I just stood up just like what we saw with [23:44] Peter the difference is what that man says is not gonna line up with the men [23:50] of God right so this is a test right either way it's a test when it was [23:55] yahushua it was a test and when it becomes the false prophet is going to be a test right I want us false prophets that are doing Miracles so we have to guard oursel against that [25:35] and we have to say you know what at the end of the day whether you do a miracle or you don't at the end of the day [25:41] everything has to line up with the word right because we know at the end we don't have to get it but we know at the [25:47] end it's going to be people that say according to Matthew chapter 7 uh master master you know what I'm [25:56] saying and he going to say depart from me I never knew you and they going to be like whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa but [26:02] didn't we prophesy in your name and do great works in your name and that's Miracles we did prophecy and we did [26:09] great works we did miracles in your name and you mean to tell me you never knew us but what was the reason that he said [26:16] he never knew him he said depart from me you who work iniquity and other words [26:22] you who continue to sin right you never sto sinning [26:28] so if you stop sinning and you do a miracle in his name you lining up the book but you could do that same miracle [26:36] and never stop sinning then guess what you going right to hell or you going right to the Eternal fire Confederacy he's saying when you think of Confederacy you thinking like [28:21] what what's a good way to describe it like like a team of people you know what I'm saying like people people that's [28:26] working together you know what I'm saying like like in America you had the [28:32] union and you had what the confeder the Confederates right so both words are [28:39] saying something similar it's like this is a union of states and these are [28:44] states that are Confederate right so it's like it's basically saying people are working together so like today we [28:51] the way Confederate is used here we would think of it as a conspiracy so when we take like when people come up [28:57] with cons iracy theor like oh man that's a conspiracy what's going on is they're saying secretly you got a group of [29:04] people working together to scam the public or to trick the public or to kill people or to set off bombs or whatever [29:10] they whatever the conspiracy theory is you got a group of people that's like conspiring together right to not tell [29:18] the truth about something or to hide something or to you know what I'm saying you know get over on people or whatever [29:23] so think of that when he saying say not this is a cons iracy you know what I'm [29:29] saying to these people that that say it's a conspiracy because what he's trying to tell them is all these people [29:35] that you think is smart and all you think like it's a lot of people that think they think about Jewish people and [29:40] they be looking at Jewish people like Jewish people run the world just and it's like that that is racist why you [29:46] say somebody run the world just because of who they are but the but it's for them there's some facts behind it [29:52] because it's like wait a minute who owned this company and who's the top lawyer here and who's the top lwy and [29:59] they looking like whoa these people is like 2% of the population but anywhere that you look they like got some type of [30:06] control right and so what we start to think is conspiracy Confederacy they all [30:13] working together to do this and to do that and this that and other when in reality it ain't even that [30:19] deep right we be thinking these people got this big plan and and they [30:25] conspiring together to hold people down hold the black man down this that and [30:30] the other and guess what these people ain't even planted like that it just [30:35] happened and they like okay well I'mma I'mma capitalize on it because that's what they do but the people look don't [30:43] get in your head that these people is planning stuff for hundreds of years and it's all going according to plan no [30:50] these people is winging it they not that smart the plans that they putting putting together they fall apart that's [30:56] how we see this stuff right so it's not really a Confederacy A Confederacy like [31:01] we be thinking what it really is is the most high God that lifts people up and abases people right he puts people down [31:08] and he lifts people up and all people do is take the credit and you will see that in your life right you gonna see that [31:15] like you gonna have a job you came up with a dude you came up with a dude you gonna have a job but y'all get promoted [31:20] together right but you came up with him you seen him you know how nervous he is [31:26] you know how he ain't really got skill like like that but you know what he ended up getting promoted cuz he at the company for a long time and you move up [31:33] with him but when he get to that high try [31:45] to create this big old story that justify where they are like as if they beat all the OD it's like boy stop all [31:52] that line you know what I'm saying I was here with you the whole reading it has three of the four components of a prayer right the only thing that it [47:15] didn't show is is forgiveness right and the components of prayer you can get that from uh from yahushua when he says [47:22] Our Father who art in heaven right when he said that prayer it has four components to it right it identifies the [47:28] most high God it glorifies the most high God there's a ask and then there's also forgiveness right is acknowledging the [47:35] sins of our people right and so those like you know what I'm saying the the that that's customarily at least three [47:43] of those components customarily are involved in most of the great prayers that we read about in the book and we [47:49] see that that's exactly how Peter prayed right keep going is that the end of the [47:54] chapter we still got more right yeah keep [48:01] going and when they had prayed the place was shaken where they was where they [48:06] were assembled together and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spake the word of God with boldness the [48:14] multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one Soul neither said any of them that ought of these things [48:21] which be which he possessed was his own but they right so in other words they had everything in comment so we kind of [48:27] read that at the end of chapter 2 right and so now here at the end of chapter 4 is dead for 4 days out of the Grave everybody was talking about that okay [50:06] cool then after he resurrected I haven't seen him myself but now you got all [50:12] these disciples that's preaching the word and opening up scripture and I've [50:18] never I've been around these people for years and I've never seen them open up scripture like this I've never seen them [50:24] preach the word like this okay boom now these same disciples are doing Miracles [50:31] right they're doing Miracles they causing people to come up and stand when they shouldn't be standing I don't [50:38] understand none of this stuff they standing up to the sidu sees the chief priests and all that and they winning [50:44] their court cases this stuff is Bonkers right so there's a huge level of [50:50] excitement this like War everybody feeling like this is it it's about to be [50:55] over we are we're about to run the world our nation is about to be placed back on [51:02] top it's a level of exciting that people are willing to sacrifice everything [51:07] nothing else matters because in their mind this is it this is the end this is [51:12] the time of the refreshing right so they selling all they stuff to dedicate their [51:18] entire life to this movement to this thing that's happening we see this same [51:23] type of thing happening today for way less like black lives matter there are people that sell everything that lead a [51:32] houses and they go hit the role with black Liv matter and go from City to City this happens today right so when [51:40] you have great movements that move people emotionally or move people spiritually they will give everything up [51:47] well this is that times a 100 right because they actually see Miracles they not seeing something on TV they not [51:53] hearing somebody talk they seeing Miracles and hear somebody talk and see somebody had a spear and they feeling [52:00] this stuff they sell right all these things is happening so it's a huge excitement that has led to people saying [52:08] I'mma sell all my possessions I'mma take the money that I get from it and I'm bringing it to Peter and I'm bringing it [52:15] to John literally everything that I own has been converted to money and I'm [52:20] bringing it to Peter and I'm bringing it to John and I left my house I'm staying [52:25] right here with everyone and we all in this together right we going to figure [52:31] this thing out together and now what they've been doing is they've been Distributing the money and the resources [52:38] to everybody so that everybody has what they need so that's when it says that no one lacked right everyone has what they [52:45] need right so watch this keep going [53:01] uh and neither was there any among them that lacked for as many were possessors of land houses and sold them and brought [53:07] them to the prices of the things that were sold and laid them down at the apostles feet and distribution was made [53:13] unto every man according as he had need and yoses Joseph who was who by the [53:19] apostles was surnamed Barnabas which is being interpreted the son of consolation a levite and of the country of CPUs [53:27] having land sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles feet [53:37] M keep [53:42] going but a certain man named ananiah and saf his wife sold a possession and [53:49] kept back God is about grace and mercy and [58:57] forgiveness right and while that's true it's also good to notice that that same [59:03] guy was about grace and mercy and forgiveness in the Old Testament right if you read the Book of [59:09] Judges you would know that if you read Kings you would know that you read Samuel you'll know [59:17] that right there's a lot of Grace and a lot of forgiveness a lot of [59:24] Mercy even in Old Testament the difference between what people are [59:29] thinking about when they think the whole Old Testament is rough the difference is we're talking about times where the most [59:36] high God is close to a matter right Jacob Jacob was very [59:42] rebellious he didn't tricked his brother ran away you know what I'm saying ran with his mama most high God a kill [59:48] nobody over that right however when Moses was there [59:55] and and some people on to take on the priest priesthood that didn't have a priesthood the most high God immediately [60:00] that in and internalized that watch [61:09] this then fell she down straight way at his feet and yielded up the ghosts and the young man came in and found her dead [61:16] and carried her forth and buried her by her husband and great fear Came Upon the congregation and upon as many as heard [61:23] these things and by the hands of the Apostles Les were many signs and wonders wrought among the people and they were [61:29] all with one Accord in Solomon's porch and on the rest there's no man joined [61:34] himself to them but the people magnified them and Believers were the more added [61:40] to the Lord multitudes both men and women in so much that they brought from [61:45] they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and [61:50] couches that the that the movement that causes people to have a lot more discipline I guarantee you right now if [62:37] the most high God was closer to this situation right and we preach the word [62:43] and somebody go out and cuss or lie or cheat or or fornicate or do whatever and [62:49] get CAU do our not forget getting called they do it and they just drop down right [62:54] the most high God get brother T why in the world would you go out last night and get [63:00] drunk and you lied about it too all right well you know what because of that [63:06] you know what I'm saying the feet of the people at the door they you and you just play in his face that's crazy it doesn't make sense right so then when [64:07] we think about the times that we think about the grace and the mercy and the Forgiveness those are the times that [64:13] we're not seeing the Miracles those are the times that we're in now right so [64:19] that's why a lot of people get away with a lot of things or at least think they getting away with a lot of things right [64:25] because the judge judement is not Swift because guess what there's no there's not there's not signs there's not [64:30] wonders there's not Miracles there's not prophecy there's not a there's not there's almost nothing now it's a this [64:36] is what they call what the scripture call a dark time right we don't really have anything except the scripture so get prophecy we don't get that [65:09] level of guidance so you have to kind of pick well we don't get to pick but the most high god get to pick our poison [65:15] right and it's it's pros and cons to you don't fear God the [67:49] fear of God is what gets you started so the fear that it's talking about right [67:54] here is them fearing God not fearing like oh I'm not going like no actually it is the same thing yeah like I might [68:01] not measure up if I don't stay on my p's and q's that's fearing God I'mma end up just like them if I don't if I don't [68:07] line up that's fear of God right so they fear God but that fear of God caus them [68:12] to be all on one Accord so in other words they looking at Peter like yo whatever you say we gonna do right keep [68:19] going watch this and the rest D no man join himself to them but the people magnified them and believe Bel more [68:26] added to the Lord multitudes both men and women and so much read read that part again and Believers were one more [68:34] one go back one more and the rest did no man join himself to them but the people [68:39] magnified them right so now he's saying he's saying they're all joined there as [68:45] one Accord right and it said the rest did the did no more join themselves to them yeah no right so then other people [68:55] at that point so pretty much they maxed out right they maxed out all the people [69:01] that joined and then what happened after that and Believers were the more added to the Lord multitude so then and then [69:09] and then after that more people got added so it's just saying it's like it's [69:15] maching out they they they got more people and more people and more people but it's Believers notice what they call [69:21] them Believers that word is going to pop up a few more times right Believers I [69:26] want y'all to kind of put a pen in that because we gonna read about this again Believers right keep going and Believers [69:34] were the more added to the Lord multitudes both men and women in so much that they brought forth the sick into [69:40] the streets and and laid them beds and couches that at the least the shadow of [69:47] Peter passing by might overshadow some of them there came also EXC me there came also a multitude [69:54] out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem bringing sick folks and them which were vexed with unclean spirits [70:00] and they were healed everyone then the high priest rose up and all they that were with him which is [70:07] in the sect of the Sadducees and were filled with indignation and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in [70:13] the common prison but the angel of the Angel of the Lord by Night opened the prison doors and brought them forth and [70:21] said go stand and speak into the Temple of the people all all the words of this life and when they heard that they [70:28] entered into the temple early in the morning and taught but the high priest came and they that were with him and [70:33] called the counsel together and all the Senate of the children of Israel and sent to the prison to have them brought [70:40] but when the officers came and found them not in the prison they returned and told saying the prison truly found we [70:47] shut with all safety and the keeper standing without before the doors but when we had opened we found no man [70:54] Within now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priest heard [70:59] these things they doubted of them where unto this would grow all right so they got put in jail [71:07] so after all these things they getting bigger and bigger again picture it they got this crowd they start off with 120 [71:13] now it's 3,220 and then after that they do the miracle that uh the man that couldn't [71:20] walk he get up and start walking then even more people start crowding around then they got they got to face the judge [71:26] you know what I'm saying the the priest and the sadu sees they try to you know what I'm saying they try to put them down but they looking at all the people [71:32] they looking like man I don't know it was a legit Miracle all the people is praising the most high God and we can't [71:39] really make the case that it's not God that he serving I don't know we should do okay y'all just shut up don't [71:45] preaching this name no more they looking like should we obey you ory obey the most high God y'all judge they threaten [71:51] them a little bit more then they send them out right then they go out they get to preaching some more all the people [71:57] join on to them everything got everybody got stuff in common then ananas and safiah get the line they drop dead then [72:05] the people see that that's like another miracle but it's a when you got the positive Miracles then you got the the [72:11] the the the Miracles that cause fear so now they looking like oh no no we definitely got to do everything Peter [72:17] say now we definitely got to do everything John say now everything James say we definitely got to do it so now [72:23] everybody lining up they on one Accord they doing what they supposed to do that everybody see everything so militant [72:30] everybody is so everybody is so focused everybody is doing the same thing [72:35] everybody got everything in common there's so much community and when they start seeing that with didn't nobody [72:41] else want to join and they looking like well we joining and so more people join more people join and so the crowd is [72:48] getting bigger and bigger so you got to imagine you got people lining up to just [72:55] get as close as they can to Peter just let his shadow touch me and maybe I'll [73:01] be healed right so now the same way people was following yahushua and pressing to [73:07] touch him that's kind of what's happening to Peter now right and Peter is walking by and people can kind of see [73:15] the trajectory of where he's walking he got this big old crowd but they looking like let me just lay myself on the floor [73:22] and then if his shadow touched me perhaps that that'll heal me right that's the crowd that you see so when [73:29] the high priest see this and the side of you see see this they looking like didn't I tell y'all butt get your' butt [73:36] so they lay hands on them they lock them up in prison and then they leave them then all of a sudden a angel pop up to [73:43] him like get y'all butts out come on let's go go preach in the temple them boys is in the temple preaching the S [73:49] you see think they about to have courton the next morning they go pick them up ain't nobody there right so all these [73:56] things is happening and everybody's like what in the world is going on around here the high priest is like this is a [74:03] mess watch this keep going then came one and told them saying behold the men whom you put in prison [74:09] are standing in the temple and teaching the people then went the captain with the officers and brought them without [74:15] violence for they feared the people lest they should have been stoned and right so now these people are so popular right [74:23] the disciples are so popular that the officers had to bring them without violence they had to hey how [74:29] y'all doing no no no now we just we just want to have a word with them no no everybody no everybody just give us a [74:34] second we just went out word with him my priest ain't too happy about y'all here preaching I ain't gonna do I [74:40] ain't put my hands on you now but saying would you mind coming with us you know what I'm saying we can handle it this [74:46] way or we gonna have to try to catch you slipping with nobody around all know you know what I'm saying just you know what [74:51] I'm saying just come on down just come with us right now you we ain't going do nothing just come on y'all supposed to be in prison now you know that you know [74:58] that now the angel of the most high God told us to leave I know that ain't none of my business I just got orders to bring you in I can't no I ain't I ain't [75:05] trying to no it's I'm just having a conversation with him no no no it's all good all good praise the Lord praise the [75:11] Lord you know what I'm saying let's do it and so they he talking to him and he had to bring them without violence right [75:16] so they walk him back and they go to the high priest to meet the high priest and Watch What Happens [75:25] and when they had brought them they set them before the counsel and the high priest asked them saying did not we [75:30] straightly command you that you should not teach in this name and behold ye have filled Jerusalem with your Doctrine [75:36] and intend to bring this man's blood upon us right why would they say that and intend to bring this man's blood [75:43] upon us they kill y'all notice every time Peter opened up his mouth he' be saying [75:50] and we did this in the name of yahua you know the one y'all killed [75:55] right you know the one y'all crucified right so he Peter is [76:01] intentionally accusing them of being responsible for the death of yahua they [76:06] don't like that he like oh the high priest looking like why you trying to put his blood on us but y'all don't [76:12] remember and we don't have to get it but y'all don't remember back in the gospel [76:17] when pilate said look I don't find no I don't find nothing worthy of death with this man what did pilot say his blood be [76:26] on y'all right and the people said his blood be on us and our [76:32] children so Peter's not incorrect by by putting his blood on them right but now [76:38] that they know they getting the feeling like we made a mistake you know what I'm saying we did something wrong now that [76:43] they feeling that way they trying to absolve their self of it right they know that they spiled an innocent man blood [76:50] watch this keep going you got to imagine Peter still probably mad about that thing like that's still my man I know he [76:55] I know he resurrected but still the principal y'all killed my man I know he a lie but still on principal y'all [77:02] killed my man you know what I'm saying watch this keep going then Peter and the other Apostles answered and said we [77:09] ought to obey God rather than men the god of our fathers raised up yahua whom [77:15] you slew and hanged on a tree look accuse him over again you know what I'm saying the one that you killed hung him [77:21] on the tree you know what I'm saying keep going watch this ain't playing with the boys I don't know what I don't know [77:26] what's wrong with y'all Peter is not playing with the boy ain't scared of them ain't playing with them he ain't [77:31] acting Koy he ain't trying to be nobody darn friend he repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins we are his Witnesses of these [77:50] things and so is also the Holy Spirit whom God has given to them that obey him [77:57] when they heard that they were cut to the heart and took counsel to slay them then stood there up one of the council a [78:03] Pharisee named gel a doctor of law had rep so we got there so y'all remember [78:10] last week when we read Peter preached to him and the book said in Chapter 2 what [78:16] happened to their heart didn't it say they was pricked in their [78:22] heart so they got pricked in their heart chapter 2 and then they said after that [78:27] what should we do and Peter told him be baptized now in this conversation he [78:33] talking to the sagues and the high priest and he preached to them right and [78:39] then he told them the gospel and it said they were cut to their heart but after that after they got cut they tried to [78:46] kill him I want to point that out because it's important to knowe that you can have the exact same experience and [78:54] react to it differently right everything is about what's in your heart right if [79:00] it's in your heart to serve the most high God when you hear that word that word is gonna break you down and you [79:06] gonna humble yourself or form and you gonna say something like what should I do right but when it ain't in your heart [79:13] you know what I'm saying then you gonna find a way to be adversarial against it to kick against it to come up with [79:19] excuses to defend yourself to get tired you know what I'm saying sometimes you talking to somebody about the scripture [79:26] and you can see them like you can physically see them get uncomfortable and like ah they don't want to look at [79:33] you they want to like like they fighting the word like right there in front of you I'm kind of sick because I like I [79:40] like to see that I be liking it when I see them when I see that word like like hitting them you know what I'm saying [79:45] they squirming and you know what I'm saying some sometimes they be sitting right here you know what I'm saying they be sitting down and they be squirming [79:52] and crossing their leg and twisting all in the seting looking all down their phone CU that word be hitting them you [79:58] know what I'm saying when that word hit it's like I just need anything to take my mind off of the fact that this thing [80:04] is cutting me right now so the way that they handl it they said oh it cut me oh [80:10] we about to kill y'all but but gel watch what gel say a doctor of law had in [80:17] reputation among all the people and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space right look the the gel [80:25] he was a doctor of the law you know what I'm saying when it say doctor it's talking about he was a [80:31] teacher right he was a teacher of the law PhD like a PhD he had the PHD in law not [80:39] know you know what I'm saying not like these other people got these people got phds in theology you know I'm saying what I don't even know what a theology [80:46] is you know saying these people got phds and you know what I'm saying my my daddy about to get a PhD in uh theology you [80:51] know what I think he graduate he graduated later so let me not talk too much you know what I'm saying but the people got phds in theology you know [80:58] what I'm saying they got phds and and all types of wild stuff communication and all this stuff no no no no no no no [81:05] this man got a doctor he's a doctor of a law of the law right and he got [81:11] reputation among all the people so everybody know that he's that guy when [81:16] it comes to the law so when he spoke even the high priest and the officers [81:22] and the elders and the sadu sees they respect his speech watch what he [81:28] say and he said unto them ye men of Israel take heed to yourselves what you intend to do is touching these men for [81:35] behold these days rose up Theus boasting himself to be somebody to whom a number [81:40] of men about 400 joined themselves who were slain and all his right so look he like y'all don't remember Theus you know [81:48] what I'm saying remember theaters was was talking like he is the man boasting himself to be somebody then all of a [81:54] sudden 400 people joined on with him and then what happened to theaters and 400 joined themselves who [82:01] were slain and all as many obeyed him were scattered and brought to nothing after right all of them was scattered [82:07] and it brought to nothing we let him we let theaters run his muck the people [82:14] joined him all of them got their butt killed and it was brought to nothing it was a waste of time what else what else [82:21] you got gel after this man rose up Judah of gilee in the days of the taxing y'all [82:27] remember Judah of Galilee back when they was taxing us y'all remember him don't y'all what happened with Judah Galilee [82:34] and Drew away much people after him he also perished and all and all even as [82:40] many as obeyed him were dispersed right so he he brought all these people all [82:45] these people followed him but guess what he died and then everybody dispersed [82:52] right now what this does is this also gives us context to things that were happening in this time right so remember [83:00] yahua he came to us if y'all remember weeks weeks weeks back we was reading and yahushua says there will be many [83:07] people that say here Messiah they're Messiah right people would have understood that because you had already [83:15] two big guys that came out one of them his name was Judah and he came from [83:23] Galilee right so so right before yahua there was a guy named Judah Who Came [83:28] From Galilee who had a whole bunch of hype a bunch of people start following him and he died so now you have to [83:36] imagine the people of Galilee looking at yahua with a little bit of [83:42] skepticism right now that gives you a little bit more context of why the people of his own land was looking at [83:49] him like H I don't really know because they had already believed in a guy named [83:54] Judah who who they thought this was the one and all of a sudden he dies off [84:01] right it's important that we had that context because I want y'all to know like when we think when we look at when [84:07] we look at our ancestors and when we look at the the the uh Pharisees and the Sadducees and we see how they were kind [84:13] of skeptical of yahua I want y'all to know that any of us could be just like [84:18] them you know what I'm saying like all of us be like okay well I join Christianity and then I join this [84:25] Baptist church and then I join this Pentecostal church and I tried this out I even tried Islam once you know what [84:32] all these people just I mean I just don't know what's true anymore right I [84:37] just so then you become very skeptical about anybody coming coming to talk to you about [84:42] religion right well that's how they was with yahua they looking like man I don't know about you but that the lesson is [84:50] that you have to guard your heart even though you're skeptical you can't be skeptical beyond the scripture right you [84:58] have to trust the scripture and you look at it and be like okay well hold on hold on do you line up with the scripture [85:03] because if you line up with the scripture I'll follow you if you don't then I won't follow you right that's how [85:09] you will separate a Judah of Galilee from a yahushua of Galilee right so gel [85:15] is telling you okay you had thadius he ain't he wasn't he ran around collected some people he wasn't about nothing you [85:22] got Judah of Galilee he ran around collected some people but he wasn't about nothing and all them died and [85:29] Scattered what's next and now I say unto you refrain from these men and let them [85:34] alone for if this counsel or this work be of men it will come to nothing but if [85:40] it be of God you cannot overthrow it lest happily you be found even to fight against God right so gel because he [85:47] understands our law he has great wisdom right he's a great teacher of the law so [85:54] the wisdom of the law is inside of him the spirit of the most high God guides him through the law right so what he [86:01] says is I don't know if these boys is of God or not but what I tell y'all is [86:08] according to our law it don't make sense if they not of God let them alone until [86:14] you got some real evidence against them let these boy run the M let them do their thing because if they not of God [86:21] it's going to fizzle out but if they are of God and you find yourself fighting against it you won't win and you're [86:30] going to find yourself fighting against God those are wise words that if you [86:35] listen to them it might just lead you to Salvation watch this keep going and to him they agreed and when they had called [86:42] the apostles and beaten them they commanded that they should not speak in the name of yahua and let them go and [86:47] they departed from the presence of the council rejoicing that they had counted they were counted worthy to suffer shame [86:53] for his name and daily in the temple and in the in every house they cease not to teach or [86:59] preach yahu the Messiah right they walk right out of there and they kept going [87:04] they said daily we never stop teaching in the name of yahushua is that the end [87:09] of the chapter yeah all right so we'll we'll pick it up chapter five [87:16] right yeah so we'll pick it up at chapter 6 next week and uh and and you [87:22] know what I'm saying the next few chapters that we read about you know what I'm saying we going to read about uh how how some how some of the [87:28] disciples was kind of taking care of each other you know what I'm saying a little dispute with the Gentiles gonna come in and then we gonna see brother [87:35] step you know what we all we [89:32] haven't left Jerusalem yet we all in Jerusalem
