[00:00] than ever. Yeah. Hey, y'all sit down. [00:08] Sab peace. It's another opportunity for us to come together and hear and learn of the word [00:13] of truth as given to us by the most high God. All honor goes to the father through the son whose name is Yahushua. [00:20] In him lies the only hope for salvation. We know that it is obtained by grace through faith, not of works, lest anyone [00:26] should boast and given freely as a gift to all who obey him. We understand that if you do not obey him, it is made [00:32] manifest and made obvious that you do not believe. In this state, you should expect no good thing from the most high. [00:39] However, anything that you do give, whether it be a gift of tongues, a gift of prophecy, or any supernatural experience that you may have, it can and [00:46] it will be used against you in the day of judgment. With that said, peace to the saints that are in the room, to the [00:52] saints that couldn't make it, to the saints watching in on the camera, to the saints in the chat, to the saints scattered around the world that we don't [00:57] even know about, but no peace to the wicked. The only thing we say to them is repent that they might live. So, last [01:06] week we talked a little bit about uh we was in Romans, I think we started off Romans chapter 11, and we talked a [01:11] little bit about uh um God not forsaking Israel, right? And in that conversation, [01:18] uh, Paul went on to kind of let us know how everything works. He's like, "Man, it's kind of like a it's kind of like a tree where you have like a branch that's [01:25] grafted into another tree." And so he was trying to explain, he talking to the Gentiles and the Hebrews. He looking [01:31] like, "All right, so look, Gentiles, don't y'all get all uppetity against the Hebrews just because y'all are now able [01:37] to share the blessing of Yahosua and the blessing of Israel through Yahosua." [01:43] Right? because he's saying these Israelites are the natural branches, right? We naturally come from Israel. [01:51] However, y'all have been grafted in. So, he's like, man, you got to be you got to be careful to know the severity of the [01:57] most high God and the goodness. Goodness because he's kind of letting you in in severity because he had chopped your [02:02] butt off just like he did the Israelites when he chopped us off to make room for for the Gentiles. So then we also talked [02:09] a little bit about um how we have to be subject to the laws subject to the laws [02:14] of our land, right? And make sure that that that that make sure that we understand that that doesn't necessarily [02:20] mean that there's no scenario that we break a law. That just mean that if we break the law, we got to be subject to [02:26] whatever that punishment is. If the punishment is go to jail, then guess what? We can't be running and hiding and lying and cheating or whatever. We take [02:33] our butt to jail. We broke the law, go to jail. If it's pay a ticket, then you pay the ticket, right? Because sometimes [02:38] there might be a law that's against our faith, right? And if there is a law that's against our faith, the right way [02:44] to handle it is not to hide and not to not to try to do it. You just you perform your faith and you perform [02:49] what's right. And then if that gets you in trouble, then you accept the consequences of it. When you do that, [02:55] you know what I'm saying? That means you doing it to the glory of the most high God. And then lastly, uh what else we [03:00] talk about? Um, yeah, I think that's about it. I think we talked about something else, but it's [03:06] not coming to my mind right now. Um, so now let's pick up in Romans chapter 14. [03:12] This is Romans chapter 14. Oh, the other thing we talking about is [03:18] is is kind of yielding yourself to the person with a weaker conscience. Right? So, if [03:24] a person believes that, you know what, smoking cigarettes is a sin, so I'm going to stop smoking cigarettes. But [03:30] you you like you know our law. You know the you know the commandments of the Messiah and you see that there's nothing [03:36] in the commandments that talk about smoking cigarettes, right? So you say, "No, I'm comfortable with smoking cigarettes and you smoke them." Well, [03:43] just for the sake of the person that's not comfortable with it, that's the time that you would stop smoking cigarettes. [03:48] Like no, I ain't going to smoke no cigarettes around this person. We don't have no business smoking no cigarettes, period. Because it's it's completely [03:54] unclean for our bodies, right? But it's not something that the Bible tells us that that we can't. Right? So, um it's [04:01] always good to if a person has a weaker conscience than you, right? If they if a person is if they mindset is thinking [04:07] like, "No, God won't like when I do that," then it's always better if you know that that's not a concern and that [04:14] what they're saying is not against your faith, then it's always better to kind of lend yourself and yield yourself to [04:20] them for the sake of keeping a brother and not falling out over silly arguments, right? Um let's go to Romans [04:27] chapter 14. Romans chapter 14 verse uh Did you finish that video? [04:33] No, I didn't go through the whole thing, but I I I I watched enough of it though. Uh Romans chapter 14, I'll share some of [04:40] the notes with you. Romans chapter 14, verse one. Him that is weak in faith, receive ye, [04:47] but not to doubtful disputations. I'mma start taking abs. You know what I'm saying? This is brought to you by [04:54] Brought to you by Trader Joe's of the power of seven red. You know what I'm [04:59] saying? Open ads. You know what I'm saying? You want an ad, just go just send me the bag. You know, that's all [05:05] you got to do. I'll promote your stuff. Now, this thing is good though. This right here, you know what I'm saying? [05:11] So, this is from Trader Trader Joe's. Let me tell you what it got in it. They sell this big thing. They got [05:17] beets. Disgusting. Strawberries, apple, watermelon, elderberries, cranberry [05:23] juices, and habiscus tea. All in a drink. Blend it up. [05:29] Tastes delicious. It doesn't say that it is. If that's the case, look at the ingredients. But it says completely [05:35] organic. Yeah, it don't say nothing about concentrate. [05:43] Is a sweet tart sod. No ingredients here. beat you. Yeah. Yeah. No [05:49] concentrate. It's the real deal here. Now, back to our regularly scheduled [05:55] programming. This is Romans chapter 14 verse one. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, [06:01] but not to doubtful disputations. For one believes that he may eat all things, another who is weak eateth herbs. Let [06:08] not him that eat despise him that eats not. And let not him which eat not judge [06:13] him that eateth. For God has received him. Who art thou that judges another man's servant. [06:23] To his own master he standeth or fallen. Yay, he shall be holding up. For God is able to make him stand. One man esteem [06:30] one day above another, another esteemed every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that [06:36] regardeth the day regardeth it unto the master, and he that regardeth not the day to the master does not regard it. He [06:43] that eats eats to the master, or he gives God thanks. And he that eats not [06:49] to the master, he eats not and gives God thanks. For none of us lives to himself, [06:55] and no man dies to himself. For whatever we live, we live unto the [07:00] master. And whether we die, we die unto the master. Whether we live, therefore, [07:05] or die, we are the masters. For this end the Messiah both died and rose and [07:10] revived that he might be master both of the dead and the living. Right? So the point of what he's saying is whether we [07:17] live or we die, we do it onto the master. The point of him saying that is because the master uh we don't have to [07:24] get it. But Yahosua, he said, "Why do you call me master and do not what I [07:31] say?" Right? The point of him saying that we live on to the master. It's [07:37] like, okay, look, some people esteem this day. Some people and know when they say esteem, some people think that this [07:43] is the greatest day of the week. And some people say that this is the greatest day of the week. Some people say I can't eat this type of food. Some [07:51] people say I can eat this type of food. Right? So he's saying, listen, we know [07:56] what our law say. There's no question about that. Right? Our law is very clear about which day is the Sabbath. Our law [08:03] is very clear about what we should eat and shouldn't eat. Right? There's no dispute of what about what the law says. [08:10] But remember, he's bringing in Gentiles who may or may not be familiar with our law at this point. Remember in Acts 15, [08:18] we gave the Gentiles an instruction. We said, "Listen, only worry about this. [08:23] Don't eat food sacrificed to idols. Don't forate." Right? Then we gave them [08:29] a short list of things that they need to focus on. And remember James, he told us, he was one of the pillars, right? [08:35] James told us the apostle, he said, man, if they want to know Moses law, they can [08:40] go because every Sabbath, Moses law can be found in this talk, right? So some of [08:46] these Gentiles hasn't made it to to learn Moses law yet. So they don't they might come from a from from a town where [08:53] they think the greatest day of the week is Sunday like these Gentiles do now like these these wicked Christians do, [08:59] right? They think the greatest day of the week is Sunday. The whole point of what Paul is saying is if it doesn't [09:05] offend what the Messiah commanded you cuz we live onto the Messiah. So if it [09:11] doesn't offend what the Messiah commanded you, then it's not a priority, [09:16] right? focus on what the Messiah commanded, right? And we know what the Messiah commanded. We read it a couple [09:22] weeks ago in Ma uh Mark chapter 7. You can also read in 1 Corinthians chapter 6. You can also read it in Ephesians [09:28] chapter 5. You can also read it in Galatians. Galatians chapter 5. You can also read it in Revelations chapter 22. [09:36] Right? Those are all the places where it tells us very specifically, very clearly [09:41] what can enter the kingdom and what cannot enter the kingdom. If we keep those things in mind, then now the [09:47] actions that we take, we take them onto the Messiah. Right? So he's saying focus [09:53] on the things that'll get you into the kingdom. Then after that, you you keep your brother because y'all not going [09:59] back and forth on stuff that that technically is not hurting yourself [10:04] salvation and then you can have a conversation and the brother can learn and you can teach, but don't let that [10:10] become like a silly disputation is basically what he's saying. Keep going. [10:16] For why dost thou judge thy brother? For why dust thou set at not thy brother? For we shall all stand before the [10:22] judgment seat of the Messiah. For it is written, as I live, say the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue [10:28] shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Let us not therefore judge one [10:35] another anymore. But judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. [10:41] Mhm. I know and and am persuaded by the master Yahosua that there is nothing [10:47] unclean of itself. But to him that esteems anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. But if thy brother be [10:53] grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy [10:59] meat, for whom the Messiah died. Let not then your good be evil spoken of. For [11:04] the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he that in [11:11] these things For he that in these things serveth the Messiah is acceptable to God and [11:17] approved of men. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace and things wherewith one may edify [11:24] another. For meat destroys not the work of God. All things indeed are pure. But it is evil for that man who eats with [11:31] offense. Right? So he said all things for sure are pure. He said nothing is [11:36] unclean of itself. These are these are very bold statements. These are statements that uh are brothers that [11:42] that that don't quite, you know, don't quite know our law and understand our law, but they think they do, right? They [11:48] so they think they lawkeepers. They think they Hebrew Israelites. They think whatever they think about themselves. When they read this, it's it's difficult [11:56] for them. When they read it, it's uncomfortable. You can you can watch them like, you know, like there's certain things if you go to a Christian [12:01] church, there are certain verses in this Bible that you'll never see them touch. There are certain chapters, certain [12:08] books even that you will never see them touch. They won't mention it. And the same is true for Hebrew Israelites. You [12:14] go to the Hebrew Israelite uh congregation. I guarantee the average hebrew Israelite congregation don't read [12:21] this far into the chapter. They read chapter 14, they do not read this far into the chapter because it gets to a [12:28] point where it's like it's very uncomfortable for them because they want to feel like they understand it. They [12:34] want to feel like, you know what, I got a seal on this thing. Yahosua, he just came like Yahosua just brought the same [12:41] law that Moses had. It's a renewed covenant. That's how they think of it, right? It's wrong, but that's how they [12:46] think of it. And so when they read certain things, they like, "Okay, I can interpret that as a renewed covenant." [12:53] But then when they get to reading down, they see Paul say, I mean twice, nothing in itself is unclean. That's difficult. [13:01] So now they got to reinterpret that be like, well, when he's saying nothing, he don't really mean nothing. He's talking [13:07] about like obviously we already know these are the unclean things. He's talking about, no, you can't do that. [13:12] He's saying exactly what he's saying. Nothing in itself is unclean. Then he [13:18] come back later and he said what? Read it again. [13:24] For me destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure. He said, all things are what? Indeed are pure. So he [13:31] says one nothing in itself is unclean. Then he come back later and he says all [13:37] things are pure while talking about meat. Meat being food, right? So he's [13:44] saying all food is pure. That's not what Moses law say, right? Moses law says the exact [13:50] opposite. He says grab uh hold we got right now. Grab um [13:55] uh Yeah. Give me a Leviticus chapter 11. [14:03] What verse we just leave off on? Says Leviticus chapter 11. Give me verse [14:08] one. Right. Mo Moses is teaching us what is [14:14] unclean and what is clean. Paul just told you nothing of itself is [14:21] unclean. Right? So this is where people get it when they say no Paul, you know what I'm [14:26] saying? Paul, you know what I'm saying? contradict the law or Paul spoke on his own accord. He wasn't really sent from [14:32] God. That's the Hebrew Israelites because that's the honest Hebrew Israelites. The Hebrew Israelites that [14:38] look at Paul and they be like, "No, he ain't, you know, he can't be from God." [14:44] Right? The honest ones because they are firmly believing that there's no new [14:49] covenant or if there is a new covenant, it's a renewed covenant. It's the same covenant as the old covenant just renewed. because they firmly believe [14:56] that it's honest of them to be like, "Well, no, Paul is saying something different." Because Paul is saying [15:02] something different. Paul is not teaching the law, right? At least he's not teaching [15:08] directly the law, right? He's saying something different. So, we have to reconcile that. Now, the Hebrew [15:14] Israelites that pretend he's not saying something different be like, "No, brother. He's saying the same thing." When he say all things are pure, he's [15:21] clearly not talking about all things. But why would he say all things? You know what I'm saying? Why would he say [15:26] the same statement, right, in different ways? Where he says nothing is unclean. [15:32] Then he comes back and says all things are pure, right? So that's like double [15:37] confirming this covers everything. Right? This is uh Leviticus 11:1. Yahweh [15:45] spake to Moses and Aaron, saying unto them, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, "These are the beasts which ye [15:52] shall eat among all beasts that are on the on the earth." "Whatsoever parts the hoof and is cloven footed and choose the [15:58] cud among the beast, that shall ye eat." Right? That's food for us. He said, "That you can eat." What else? [16:09] Nevertheless, these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud or of them that divide the h. Watch. as the camel [16:15] because he chews the cut but divides not the hoof he is unclean unto you right if you want to go get you a nice round [16:23] stirloin camel cut you know what I'm saying steak what's going to happen I [16:29] mean they chop his butt off bow you know what I'm saying take you a nice little hump bow cook that thing over the grill [16:35] rotisserie staff then they cut it up they put that on your plate and they say uh so Mr. [16:44] We have a prime sirloin camel back steak. [16:49] How would you like it cooked? What? What are you going to say? [16:55] We going to say that's unclean. That's not food for us. Watch what the book say. [17:03] These shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud. Of them that divide the hoof. As the camel because he choose the cud [17:08] but divide not the hoof, he is unclean. And the con because he choose the cud but divide not the hoof. He is unclean. [17:15] And the hair because he choose the cud but divide not the hoof. He is unclean unto down south they eat rabbit. [17:22] Right. They get a little rabbit with the bunny. Chuck the little ears off. Shack it. You know what I'm saying? Ring the [17:28] head off. Sh. You know what I'm saying? Take the body, flay him, open him up, put them on the, you know what I'm [17:33] saying? Put them on the thing and they then they serve it on your plate. They say, "Well, Mrs. Lee, this is a a [17:40] beautiful wild rabbit uh firmly cooked rabbit. It's very gamey, but we've offset the game taste with a little bit [17:46] of rosemary. That's not food. Right? We look at that and we say our law tells us that's not [17:54] food. Watch the book say about it. And the swine though he divide the hoof [18:00] and befooted yet he choose not to cut, he is unclean unto you. He's what? Unclean. He is unclean. Moses is very [18:08] clear. Moses ain't mentioning this word. Moses said, "Listen, Most High God told me to tell y'all that these animals are [18:15] unclean to you. You're not supposed to be having no darn pig. You can't eat no darn alligator. No darn ostrich. I mean, [18:23] what's it called? Uh, rabbit. No. What's the other thing with all the tentacles?" Uh, octopus. Octopus. You can't eat no [18:29] darn octopus. You know what they call that? They try to They try to pretty it up. Call it what? Calamari. Sedar. [18:36] Calamari. Sometimes you don't know what you order and be like calamari. You know what I'm saying? That thing sound good. [18:41] Give me two of those. Hey, bring that thing out. It's a darn fried octopus. [18:46] I can't eat that. Take that darn back. What I'm supposed to do with that? You can't eat no darn caviar. Well, maybe [18:53] you can. What's caviar? Fish eggs. All right. Maybe you can eat caviar depending on what it is. Depending on [18:59] what fish. Yeah. You can eat some lamb. Lamb is good. You can't eat no darn [19:05] guinea pig. They get the guinea pig fresh off of the wheel. He going around. He just snatched him all w cut off the [19:11] tail. Cut off his head, open him up, put him on the grill, and then serve it on your plate. Uh people in Florida, Mr. [19:17] Lee, would you like this uh prime guinea pig roasted over flame? [19:24] That's not food. You can't do it. You're right. Some people in Peru probably eat guinea pigs. Some people in frog legs [19:30] and gator frogs, snails, unclean for us. Right. So a lot of people eat different [19:36] things. They eat dogs in different places of the world. You know what I'm saying? You go to Haiti. In Haiti, they [19:43] eating a dog. Like Trump said, you know what I'm saying? They eating a dog. They chop his head off right on the street. [19:48] Cook it up for you. What you want? You want a dog leg? Here you go. You ever had a turkey leg? [19:55] Some people have dog legs. You know what I'm talking about. But it's not No, turkey legs are not [20:01] dog. But it's not food for us. And the reason why it's not food for us is because Moses told us it's unclean. [20:09] Right? When we have something that's unclean, then we can't eat it. But now we got to reconcile that with what Paul [20:15] is saying. Paul is saying while talking about food, right? It's not like he talking about some some abstract idea. [20:22] He's talking about food, he says all things are pure. [20:28] Nothing is unclean of itself. Right? So that means that we have to [20:34] change the way that we think about this stuff. Paul is saying and speaking of the will of the most high God and Moses [20:41] is saying and speaking of the will of the most high God. We think we got a conflict. And you know how we try to [20:47] solve the conflict? We ignore it. We lie. We reinterpret. That's what that's what the Christian do. The Christian [20:53] say, "Yep, Paul is right. That means the law must be done away with. You're wrong." Because Yahosua told us that the [20:59] law is not done away with. And he said it would not be done away. Wait until all of it was fulfilled and it has not [21:04] all been fulfilled. And then the Hebrew Israelites say, "Nope, the Christian is wrong. Paul is just crazy. He's speaking [21:11] of his own accord." Nope. You guys are wrong also. Right? Paul is speaking of the most high God. You just don't [21:18] understand what he's speaking. You don't understand that the most high God said, "I will bring to you a new covenant." [21:25] Which means it is a new agreement. But what Yahosua brought was something new. [21:30] Y'all don't remember when Yahosua says, he is like, "Listen, the the kingdom is like uh wine skins." You know what I'm [21:37] saying? You got to put old wine into the old wine skins and the new wine into the new wine skins. Otherwise, if you put [21:43] new wine into the old wine skins, the wine skins will burst. You know what I'm saying? So, think of wine skin kind of [21:48] like a bottle. And think of think of the wine as fermenting and causing gas in the B. You ever shake up a soda and then [21:55] throw it against a wall? What's going to happen? it's going to explode, right? So, that's what happened with the wine [22:00] skins. You put if you put like a new wine skin and put new wine into it, the [22:06] bottle will expand with it, so it won't explode. But if you put a old wine bottle, I mean, a old wine bottle and [22:13] put new wine into it. Now, the new wine is going to try to expand, but the old wine bottle already expanded as far as [22:19] it can go. So, what's going to happen? Boom. Hard body. [22:28] Yeah, same thing as that. You need to stay all darn YouTube and Tik Tok, right? But it's the same. It's it is the [22:34] same thing as that. Same as the Coca-Cola with the Mentos in it, right? So, let's go back. This is uh Romans [22:40] chapter where we at 21. Romans chapter 14 verse 21. [22:53] Yeah, we can have turkey legs. this [22:58] turkey legs in Texas. Yeah, turkey is a clean animal. [23:05] I was just using I was telling the kids that the same way some people eat turkey legs is the same way that other people [23:10] in different places in the world, they eat uh dog legs. They eat dog legs. You know what I'm saying? The sister asked, [23:17] she said unclean of itself. She says, "What does that mean?" Um what that [23:22] means is that so basically it's it goes back to what [23:29] what Paul was saying earlier. He is saying if one person eats and the other person doesn't eat, they both eat or [23:37] don't eat onto the master. In other words, they're obeying everything that Yahosua they've turned themselves away [23:44] from everything that Yahosua said don't do. That's listed in Mark chapter 7. that's listed in 1 Corinthians chapter [23:50] 6, Galatians chapter 5, Ephesians chapter 5, and Revelation chapter 22. [23:55] They've turned away from all of those sins. So, what he's saying is now at that point, nothing for them is un [24:03] nothing for them is going to defile their spirit from going into the kingdom because they've turned away from all the [24:10] things that Yahoshua says defiles the spirit from going into the kingdom. Because in chapter eight, Paul was [24:16] saying, ation to those in the Messiah, right? [24:22] Yeah. So, as as long as we obey the Messiah, no condemnation can touch us, [24:28] right? Everything else we could be resurrected from, including eating unclean food, including not keeping the [24:35] Sabbath, including all these things. That's very uncomfortable for our Hebrew brothers, right? Because they look at [24:42] that and say, "No, that just can't be." Right? And I understand it. I want y'all to know, keep the Sabbath, eat clean [24:47] foods. That's what you should do. This is not us trying to teach people not to do those things. However, we do have to [24:53] acknowledge that those things are not required. They were not given to us as requirements for what the Messiah taught [25:00] us. Right? So, if a Gentile were to do those or even if a Hebrew were to do those, that's not going to keep them [25:06] from the kingdom. However, they are breaking the law of Moses. That is a fact. So now the person who breaks the [25:11] least of the commandments according to Matthew 5 19 the person who breaks the least of [25:18] the commandments and teaches other people to do so they'll be least in the kingdom but they'll still get in the kingdom right as long as they obey the [25:24] Messiah. Then the second part of that verse says the person who keeps and practices and teaches people to keep the [25:30] commandments of Moses those will be great in the kingdom. Right? So it's always going to be better to keep the [25:36] commandments of Moses. You're always going to have a easier time. you always going to have a better path. You're always going to have more wisdom. So, [25:43] it's good to keep the commandments. It's righteous. It's just keep the commandments. However, you should also [25:49] know that the commandments that were given to Yahosua are what is required of [25:54] us. And our law taught us that, right? That's not something that I'm making up right now. The law that Moses said that [26:00] Moses said in chapter 18, right? It's going to be a prophet like unto me and the words that the most high God put in [26:06] his mouth that will be required of you. Right? [26:11] Keep going. This is uh Romans chapter 14 21. [26:18] It is good neither to eat flesh nor drink wine, nor anything whereby thy brother stumbles or is offended or is [26:25] made weak. Has thou faith? Have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemns not himself in that thing which [26:32] he allows. And he that double He that doubleteth is damned if he eat because [26:37] he eateth not of faith. I'm sorry. He that doubtth is damned if [26:42] he eat because he eateth not of faith. For whatsoever is not of faith is sin. [26:47] So this is kind of what he's talking about about unclean unto itself. like the food itself is not unclean for for [26:56] us being able to get be granted into the new covenant, right? That's not going to prevent us from getting into the new [27:01] covenant. But however, if you're not doing it in faith, if you looking at it and you doubt, if the brother is looking like, "No, I still feel like I still [27:08] feel like I'm not going to get into the kingdom if I eat if I eat pork." Right? Then that brother should not eat pork. [27:16] Right? Because you don't have you're not doing it in faith. Well, meanwhile, the Gentile may be fully confronted like, [27:21] "Man, no, no. I heard what I said. You know, I heard what was said. I read it. I understand it. I'm about to eat me [27:26] some pork, right? We would say, "No, that's disgusting." Right? That's not [27:32] food for us. We shouldn't eat it. However, that gentile will be able to get into the kingdom because he's doing [27:37] it in faith. He's doing it based off of what he understands in the book and it's correct understanding. Right? So, that's [27:43] more so what it's talking about. The sister asked, she said, "I thought that I thought," she said, "I thought the new covenant would the new covenant would [27:49] come when the Messiah returns. Are we under the new covenant now?" We are not under the new covenant now. We under the [27:55] old covenant. But what does under? A lot of people misunderstand what under means. Under means that's the penalty [28:01] you're going to face, right? Under just means that yeah, [28:06] you're subject to the penalty. So, what's the penalty of the law? [28:17] No. [28:24] Nope. Right. The penalty of the law is death. [28:31] Right. And it's important that we all understand how cuz it's it's a little complicated how how the most high God is [28:36] putting this stuff together, but it all fits perfectly together. So it's important that you always remind yourself of these things, right? The [28:43] penalty of of the law is death. Not burning in the fire, not not not not uh [28:52] being denied entering into the kingdom. Remember, but before Yahosua came, those concepts didn't really exist, right? [29:00] Entering into the kingdom, burning in the uh in the in the lake of fire. Those concepts are in prophecy. They didn't [29:08] even know. And it was and it was very cryptic in pop prophecy, right? Not not even a lot of people who read prophecy [29:13] understood even the smallest pieces of it, right? So what's happening is [29:19] everyone is under the law. Remember Paul told us about this. Go back to uh this [29:24] is Romans chapter 3. Let's see if we can put this together real quick. This is Romans chapter 3. Give me verse uh what [29:31] I want 21 maybe. Romans chapter 3. Maybe verse 21. [29:40] 20. Let's do 20. This Romans chapter 3 20. [29:50] Therefore, by the deeds of the law, there shall no flesh be justified in his sight. For by the law is the knowledge [29:55] of sin. Uhhuh. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the [30:01] prophet. Right? So he's saying the righteousness of God outside of the law. [30:06] Right? So there's the law that has righteousness. It is the standard of righteousness. However, everybody under [30:13] that law, no one will be justified by that law. So in other words, there is no way for anyone to be seen as righteous [30:21] according to the law. Although the law is righteous. That's what he just told us, right? Then the next thing he said, [30:27] now there's a righteousness that's outside of the law. He's talking about Yahosua because Yahosua was the only [30:33] person that actually kept the law, died without sinning. Right? So now Yahosua [30:38] becomes an image of righteousness that is outside of the law. Right? So now by [30:43] doing what Yahosua says, we have entry into the new covenant. But when does the [30:49] new covenant occur? The sister is right. The new covenant doesn't happen until Yahosua returns. What also happens when [30:55] Yahosua returns? [31:02] That's going to be before Yawasu return. Yeah, you going to have a red sky. You got a red moon and all that. But what [31:08] exactly happens when Yahawu returns? Who remembers? [31:13] Oh, I know. I know. I know. Go ahead, Aaria. What you got? [31:22] What you got? Hurry up. Um, very good. The resurrection. Very good [31:28] boy. The resurrection happens. So when you're resurrected, what's really [31:34] happen? Remember when the penalty of the law is death, right? So then when [31:41] Yahosua comes, what happens? Resurrection. [31:46] What is resurrection? What does that mean? Yeah, kind of. What is resurrection? [32:00] Very good. So you you doing all right, boy. Right. So resurrection means you get brought back up from the grave, [32:06] which means you're given life. You're brought back to life. So now the penalty of the law is death, [32:13] right? Yahushua is going to resurrect you, which means what? [32:20] Life. So now death is erased by life. So [32:26] he erases the penalty of the law. So that's why the new covenant hasn't happened yet. The new covenant is the [32:32] resurrection. Right? However, to get to the new covenant, grab uh grab uh uh uh John, [32:42] give me John chapter 1. The gospel of John chapter 1. We are saved by [32:50] huh? We are saved by grace, right? Which is faith, right? We are saved by hope. [32:58] Like, right. Right. Saved by hope. This is John chapter one. Give me uh [33:06] You can't go down that far. What' you say? 20. It's up. Nine. I like nine. [33:12] This is This is John 1 verse 9. Eli said nine. Let's see what we got. John chapter one, you said? Yeah. John [33:18] chapter 1 vers9. Eli said nine. Let's see what a good Let's see what you got. You think you got it? All right. Let's [33:23] see. I don't know. I really don't know. [33:31] No. Oh, goodness gracious. Goodness gracious. [33:37] This is John chapter 1 verse 9. Watch what the book say. That was the true light which lights [33:43] off. That was the true light which lightth every man that comes into the world. He was in the world and the world [33:50] was made by him and the world knew him not. He came into his own and his own received him not. His own received him [33:55] not. Watch this. He talking about Yahosua. But as many as received him to them. What? To them was what? Gave he [34:01] the power to become the sons of God. So look, he gave them the power. He didn't [34:06] make them sons of God. Just because we believed him, we didn't immediately become sons of God, right? He gave them [34:11] the power. He gave them the authority. He gave them the entry to become sons of God. So that is the new covenant. You [34:18] get you get like a voucher to participate in the new covenant, right? [34:24] So while we're under the law, we're subject to death. All of us have to die. [34:29] We can't be resurrected until we die, right? So that when we die, that means [34:36] that the the penalty of the law has been defeated. It's been erased because the [34:41] penalty is death. And Yahosua is gonna bring us back from death. He's gonna bring us back to life. So once you bring [34:47] get brought you one if if you died and you get brought back to life, then guess what? The law can say, "Well, you took [34:53] the penalty because you died." And then when you get brought back to life, guess what? Your slate is wiped clean cuz [34:59] you've already paid your penalty, right? So now what we're looking at is [35:05] that is the new covenant. The new covenant only comes after we die. But to [35:10] participate in the new covenant, Yahosua is telling us, you have to do what I'm [35:16] saying in this present time. That's the only way you even get to Mount Si. [35:22] Right? Remember, Mount Si is where we got the first covenant. We got the covenant that Moses gave us. Right? But [35:29] if what happened if I ran up on the mountain when Moses told me, "Don't run up on it." What happened? [35:37] Let me hear. How do you die? What? What? How do you die in particular? What What [35:43] did Moses say would happen to you? Don't make me go get it. [35:51] M. [35:57] Y'all don't remember how you going to die. Let's see. We got to go get it then. It's Exodus chapter 19 because [36:02] it's important for y'all to see. Before we got the Moses covenant, not everybody [36:07] made it there, right? We had a couple events where [36:12] people died already. Not everybody made it. So, in Exodus chapter 19, give me Exodus [36:21] chapter 19. Let's see. Verse what y'all got? [36:28] It got to be further. I think it's further down. It might not be, but I think it's further down. This might be another 21. Let's do 21. And the Lord [36:35] said unto Moses, "Go down. Charge the people lest they break through unto Yahweh the gays." And many of That was 21. [36:42] A bad boy. That's a bad boy. That's a bad boy. Hey, Eli. That's a bad boy. [36:50] That boy hit it on the no, didn't he? Do it again. Exodus what? 19. What? [36:58] Oh, let's call it again. Let's see. Let's see if it's still right. It was right last time. It might change. Let me see. And the Lord said unto Moses, "Go [37:06] down and charge the people, lest they break through unto Yahweh the gaze, and many of them perished." It was right [37:11] again. Keep going. Watch this. And let the priests also which come near to Yahweh sanctify themselves, lest Yahweh [37:16] break up break forth upon them. Uhhuh. And Moses said unto the Lord, the people cannot come up to Mount Si, for thou [37:23] charest, saying, Set bounds at the mount and sanctify it. Yahweh said unto him, "Get away. Wait, away. Get thee down, [37:30] and thou shalt come up, you and Aaron, with thee. But let not the priests of and the people break through come up [37:35] unto Yahweh, lest he break forth upon." So Moses went down from the people and spake unto them. [37:42] That's it. Oh, that's Oh, man. You want When you saying they got through with [37:47] Yeah. Where is that at? So, it must be before that. Maybe 15. Try 15. Who said 15? Somebody said 15. Let's try 15. That [37:54] might have been right. [37:59] ready at the third day and come not at your wife. Oh, that might be it. And it came to pass on the third day in the [38:05] morning that there were thunders and lightnings and thick cloud upon the mount and the trumpet exceedingly loud. So all the people that was in the camp [38:11] trembled. Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet God. And they stood at the nether part of the mount. [38:18] Mount Si was all together on on smoke because Yahweh ascended upon it in fire. [38:23] smoke thereof ascended to the smoke of the f smoke smoke of a furnace and the whole mount quak [38:30] ain't it no [38:36] it ain't in chapter 20 for sure it's in 19 but it's like [38:42] a little bit before 15 then got to be somewhere around [38:53] You almost had it though, Eli. I thought you had it. I thought that was it. [39:06] Right. But the point is that when we when we had the first covenant when Moses gave gave us all the laws that we [39:13] were bound by, right? Not everybody made it to Mount Si to [39:19] hear the laws. And so you have to know that not everybody can even make it to [39:25] participate in the in the in the um 13. This is verse 13. This is Exodus chapter [39:31] 19:3. Watch the book say 12. This is Exodus 19:12. Watch what the book say. [39:37] And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves that ye go not up into the [39:43] mount or touch the border of it. Whosoever touches the mount shall surely be put to death. There shall not a hand [39:49] touch it, but he shall surely be stoned or shot through. Right? So the way that you if you touch if you got too close to [39:56] the mountain and touch the bounds of it, you would either be stoned or shot through. Those are the options of how [40:03] you died. So if you were to touch it, guess what would happen? You didn't get to hear the covenant. You didn't get to [40:09] participate in that covenant. And that's what we have to understand is there's [40:14] commandments that we have to keep to even get to the covenant. And the same is true for um for the new covenant. So [40:22] right now what Yahoshua is telling us is these are the things that you have to do [40:28] to participate in the new covenant. Right now once you here's here's another part that sometimes is confusing to [40:34] people. Once you're resurrected, right, Mo Yahosua is going to write the [40:41] law of Moses on your heart. So all the stuff that a Gentile look at and say, "Oh, well technically [40:49] I don't have to keep the Sabbath or technically I can eat pork and technically all these different things, [40:55] right? Technically they can still get into the kingdom with that stuff. However, once they're resurrected, [41:02] the law is going to be written on their heart and they going to keep the law, which means they're not going to eat pork. They not they are going to keep the Sabbath, right? And so, in the end, [41:10] all of us are going to keep the law of Moses because the law of Moses never stops being the standard of [41:15] righteousness. Yahosua is just saying, "Whoever trusts me, I'm giving you the [41:22] power to become a son of God." Right? And that's the piece that we want to focus on. Now, we know that all of us [41:28] fell short of the law, right? So, it's not about the law when it comes to salvation. Right? Now, it's about what [41:35] did Yahosua command us? What's required of us of Yahosua? Let's get back on track. We at Romans chapter what? [41:43] Chapter 14 verse what? [41:48] This Romans chapter 14 verse 23. Watch what the book say. [41:55] Hm. I don't know. I ain't that good. Oh, we on Roman. He that doubts is damned if he [42:02] eat because he eats not of faith. But whatsoever is not of faith is sin. All right. So this is Romans chapter 15 [42:09] verse one. Romans chapter 15 verse1. We then that [42:15] are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbor [42:22] for his good to edification. For even the Messiah pleased not himself, but as it is written, the reproach of them that [42:28] reproached thee fell on me. For whatsoever things were written a for written for our learning, that we [42:33] through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. That's important for us to understand. All this stuff that we read, we we read it [42:42] because it's an example for us. It's for our learning, right? We're able to kind [42:47] of understand how we should modify. When we read about Job, that gives us [42:52] important context to how to upgrade our life and our faith with the ma with the Messiah. Right? When we read through [42:59] David's life, it tells us, okay, David is a good example of what to do when [43:04] we're in a position of power, when we're scared, when we have things that are up against us, right? We have to read about [43:12] all these things. And then you look at the missteps, right? You look at the children of Israel. You look at the sins [43:17] that occurred, the the the times in judges and you say, "Okay, this is how I [43:22] avoid it. I need to consult God in all my decisions. I need to make sure and measure all my decisions against the [43:30] scripture, against the law, against what's righteous, against the teachings of ma Yahushua." Because by doing that [43:37] now, you can make sure that you avoid the missteps of the people that came before us. We don't want to keep on [43:43] repeating the same mistakes as we are doing right now in a lot of our people. That's why it's important for us to come [43:49] here every week and learn the book. Right. Keep going. [43:58] For whatsoever things were written before time were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have [44:04] hope. Now the God of patience and consolation grant ye to be like-minded one toward another according to the [44:09] Messiah Yahua that ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God even the father of our Lord Yahua the Messiah. [44:16] Wherefore receive ye one another as the Messiah also received us to glor to the [44:21] glory of God. Now I say that Yahosua the Messiah was a minister of the circum circumcision for the truth of God to [44:28] confirm the promises made unto the fathers. Now notice what he just said. Yahosua the Messiah was a minister of [44:36] who? The circumcision. And remember weeks and weeks and weeks ago we talked about the circumcision being like a [44:42] sect, right? So the circumcision were usually Israelites that keep the law cuz [44:49] Israelites that lived in Israel or that were associated always kept the law, right? So the circumcision was talking [44:55] about lawkeepers, right? So, he's acknowledging Yahosua [45:01] was a servant to the people who keep the law, right? It's important that y'all [45:06] understand what he's the point that he's making. He's telling y'all that essentially he's telling y'all that [45:12] there's nothing unclean of itself, right? But he's also telling you the law [45:18] says things are unclean and Yahosua was a servant to those people who keep that [45:24] law, right? Keep going. and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy [45:29] as it is written, "This cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name." And again he saith, [45:36] "Rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people." And again, praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles, and lord him, all ye people. [45:44] Again, and again Isaiah says, "There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that [45:49] shall rise to reign over the Gentiles. In him shall the Gentiles trust." Now the God of hope fill you with all joy [45:56] and peace in believing that ye may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. And I myself also am [46:02] persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one [46:08] another. Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind because of [46:15] the grace that is given to me of God, that I should be the minister of the Yahosua, the Messiah, to the Gentiles, [46:21] to the Gentiles. So you notice he said Yahushua was a servant to the [46:27] circumcision. In other words, he was a servant to the Israelites. However, [46:33] as it is written, he sent me to the Gentiles. [46:39] Right? And that's what it means to be an apostle is to be sent. Right? An apostle [46:44] is a is like a representation of Yahosua himself. He's saying, "I'm sending him. [46:50] I'm sending Paul because I didn't get there. Right? I'm sending him as a [46:55] representation of me to deliver my message to those folks. Right? So then [47:00] you either believe that that's what Paul is or you don't. That's your prerogative. I'm just telling you what [47:06] he's saying he is. He's saying that he's an apostle that was sent to the Gentiles to deliver the message. [47:13] Right. Keep going. ministering the gospel of God that the offering up of the Gentiles might be [47:19] acceptable being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Also, uh with our bothering dear crew [47:28] and under [47:35] are like these are like the sacrifice given to God. He's offering [47:41] a so they have to be you know God ain't going to accept no offering with blemish is going [47:49] to trouble Gentiles right and [47:55] like an off like we would in our law [48:08] in a I have therefore where I have therefore [48:14] whereof I made glory through the Messiah in those things. You got to speak up on your mic when you talking. It's cutting [48:19] out. They say for I will not dare to speak of any of [48:25] those things which the Messiah has not wrought by me to make the Gentiles obedient by word and deed through mighty [48:33] signs and wonders by the power of the spirit of God. So that from Jerusalem and roundabout unto [48:40] Larikum, I have fully preached the gospel of the Messiah. [48:45] Yay, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where the Messiah was named, lest I should build upon another man's [48:51] foundation. But as it is written, to whom was not spoken of, they shall see, and they shall and they that have not [48:58] heard shall understand. For which cause also I have been much hindered from coming to you. But now having no more [49:05] place in these parts, and having great desire these many years to come unto you, whensoever I take my journey into [49:12] Spain, I will come unto you. For I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if [49:20] first I be somewhat filled with your company. But now I go to Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. For it has [49:26] pleased them of m Macedonia and Acacia to make a certain contribution to the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It [49:33] has pleased them verily, and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made [49:39] partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things. When therefore I have [49:44] performed this, I have sealed unto them this fruit. I will come by I will come by you into Spain. Right? So basically [49:51] he telling them, I'm going to come collect some money. All right? Pretty. He tell I'm I'm going to come collect [49:56] resource. He said, listen, if if if we've sold into you spiritual things, [50:02] you know what I'm saying? It's your responsibility to, you know what I'm saying? So back carnal thing, you know what I'm saying? So he's saying [50:07] basically he just preparing him like, "Yo, when I come through there, collect some money now." You know what I'm saying? Just be ready for me. Keep [50:13] going. And I am sure that when I come unto you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of the [50:19] Messiah. Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Messiah Yoshua's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive [50:25] together with me in your prayers to God for me, that I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judah, and [50:31] that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints, that I may come unto you with joy by the [50:37] will of God, and may with you be refreshed. Now, the God of peace be with you all. Amen. [50:43] Let's jump over. Let's try to finish up in uh in Romans chapter 16. [50:50] We don't have to read the whole chapter though. Jump on down to verse 17. [50:56] Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which you have learned and avoid them. He said, "Mark [51:03] those people who cause divisions and offenses." But he didn't stop there. He [51:08] didn't say just mark the people that cause divisions. Because sometimes division is appropriate, right? Our [51:15] whole calling from the most high God is to be holy. Be holy just means be separate. So that's a division. Yahosua [51:23] Yahushua and Yah commands us to be divided and to be separate, right? So [51:29] he's saying he wants to know the people that cause division that's contrary to [51:34] the doctrine that we've learned. In other words, it's contrary to the gospel. It's contrary to our law. It's [51:40] contrary to the scripture. It's contrary to the prophecy. Right? If somebody is dividing because they want to worship [51:46] another god, that's different from somebody who's dividing because they see somebody who's not worshiping our God. [51:54] Right? So you have to mark those people who cause division. That's not lawful. [52:00] Right? Keep going. And avoid them. Mhm. For they that are such serve not our master Yahosua, but their own belly, and [52:07] by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple. For your obedience has come abroad unto all men. [52:13] I am glad therefore on your behalf, but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good and simple concerning [52:19] evil. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. Grace of [52:24] our master Yosua be with you. Amen. All right. So that's the end of the book of [52:29] Romans. So we are going to stop there for today. It's a short night. Um but [52:34] we're going to stop there for today because from here we got to get back into the book of Acts. Right? Right. So, [52:40] we haven't been in the book of Acts, but if y'all kind of remember, we've been on a kind of journey with Paul and he'll [52:45] touch a city like Thessalonica. And then what we do is we go read the book of Thessalonians. Right? So, now we read a [52:52] couple books back to back because the last thing that we read in Acts, he actually touched through a few cities. I [52:58] think it was Acts chapter 20 that we last read. Right? So, now we going to finish off Acts chapter 20 next week. [53:04] Um, and and continue to read through it and see what's the next city that we gonna end up reading about. [53:09] What you got? Any questions, by the way? What you got? [53:22] No. You make it to the kingdom based on the So, so Zakai asked, he said, "If you [53:27] sin in this world and then you die and then you don't sin after that, will you [53:34] make it into the kingdom? [53:42] So yeah, so basically the answer to that would be if you sin in this world and [53:47] you don't turn away from that sin. In other words, if you don't stop committing all sins, right, that's [53:53] against the Messiah, then that means when you die, you will not be resurrected. You'll actually you'll be [53:59] resurrected and you'll burn forever, right? If you sin in this world um and [54:06] you you do turn away from it and you say, "You know what? I'm not doing none of these sins no more. I read everything [54:12] that the Messiah commanded me to do. I'm turning away from all those sins." If you do turn away from it, then you will [54:18] be resurrected. Excuse me. What you got? [54:26] So, so the young brother said, "If you sin once or twice, will you make it into the [54:32] kingdom?" Perhaps. It's not about how many times you sin. It's about did you turn away from it for the rest of your [54:39] life. Right? So, you might sin 117 times, but then you say, "You know what? [54:45] I'm not doing that no more, and I'm not doing any other sin anymore. all the sins that the Messiah told me to start [54:50] turn away from in Mark chapter 7 or Galatians chapter 5 or Ephesians chapter [54:56] 5 or 1 Corinthians chapter 6 or Revelation chapter 22 in all of those places I've turned away from every one [55:03] of those things that's listed once you can say that with confidence then you know that you're going to be [55:08] resurrected. [55:14] Let's see what questions we got over here. Um [55:20] what did Br say? So uh what Br was saying is that Paul was describing uh [55:26] Paul was describing him bringing the offering of the Gentiles to Yahushua, [55:32] right? And so T was trying to point out that like you'll see Paul use certain [55:38] language that comes from our law because it's it's it's intended to kind of trigger your memory of the law and see [55:44] how things are done in the same order of the law. So in the same way that when we brought a offering to the temple or [55:51] offering to the tabernacle, it had to be clean. It had to be very precise accept it had to be acceptable to Yahw. He was [55:59] saying that what we're doing pretty much or what Paul was doing pretty much was like going through every effort to make [56:05] sure that there was no blemish on the Gentiles and that they would be acceptable to Yah to Yahosua or to Yah [56:11] through Yahosua. Um let me see here [56:18] what else won't be on the call tomorrow. We're traveling. Travel safe, sis. Love [56:24] you says drive. This feels fast. Love. Yeah. No, this was super fast. cuz we was only 50 minutes in. So, yeah, we [56:30] usually go a little bit longer than this. Um, but yeah, I just don't want to jump into Acts yet cuz we probably not [56:37] going to have a good stopping point once we jump into Acts. We'll we'll we'll probably spend the next couple weeks on Acts, though. It's a lot It's a lot to [56:43] cover before we jump into like Philippians. Um, [56:49] all right. No other questions. Let's pray out.
