Summary
How should believers treat a brother who is weak in the faith? In this Sabbath lesson from Romans 14, Paul teaches that whether we eat or not, or esteem a day, we do it unto the master, and that we must not put a stumbling block in a brother’s way, for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, peace and joy. Through Leviticus 11, Romans 3, John 1 and Exodus 19, you’ll see Moses’ law of clean and unclean beasts set beside Paul’s words, learn of a righteousness of God apart from the law shown in Yahushua, and how he gave power to become the sons of God. Finally, Romans 15 and 16 call the strong to bear the infirmities of the weak, remind us that all things written before were written for our learning, and warn us to mark them which cause divisions contrary to the doctrine.
