[00:00] Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. We came out here under the pre under the under the [00:05] pretense. My wife going to have a full-time job. You know what I'm saying? Her boss, you know what I'm saying? Give her like one day a week, bro. I'm like, [00:11] what's happening? If I would have known that, you know what I'm saying? I could have stayed in Texas. That thing crazy. [00:18] I love my wife like, man, she out here like like, dang, I'm out of work. I'm [00:24] like, I feel you cuz this thing ain't cool. Crazy. [00:31] And then like it's like a business. You know what I'm saying? You know, in a business, right? They like over like uh [00:36] you know what I'm saying? They like uh they like uh in a deficit. You know what I'm saying? So if they save a whole [00:42] bunch of money here, it just takes away from the deficit. It don't give them no surplus. That's what I got going on [00:49] at your job. No, in my life. Oh, with my wife working. [00:54] Oh, that boy is on there. Oh, that's B. I was like said Baron say [00:59] what up boy. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So that thing that thing just uh [01:04] chipping at the deficit. You know what I'm saying? Ain't no surplus going on. I go [01:11] got to get to it. Exactly. [01:16] Savage peace. Savage peace. Hey Eli, tell uh that boy to turn off [01:22] the game. Bring his butt up here and sit down. Everybody come up here and sit down. It's another opportunity for us to come together and hear and learn the [01:28] word of truth that's given given to us by the most high God. All honor goes to the father through the son whose name is [01:34] Yahosua. In him lies the only hope for salvation. We know that it is obtained by grace [01:39] through faith, not of works, lest anyone should boast and given freely as a gift to all who obey him. We understand that [01:45] if you do not obey him and is made manifest or made obvious that you do not believe in this state, you should expect [01:51] no good thing from the most high. However, anything that you do get, whether it be a gift of tongues, a gift [01:56] of prophecy, or any supernatural experience that you may have, it can and it will be used against you in the day [02:02] of judgment. With that said, peace to the saints that are in the room, to the saints that couldn't make it, to the [02:07] saints watching in on the camera, to the saints in the chat, to the saints scattered around the world that we don't know about, but no peace to the wicked. [02:14] The only thing we say to them is repent that they might live. [02:20] All right? So last week we talked about uh we talked we walked through the book of uh Ephesians. We made it all the way [02:27] to the end but we see that it covered a number of things. One it covered you know grace by faith uh by grace through [02:34] faith right? So we talked a little bit about that like what does that really mean right? Not of works. What does it [02:41] mean not of works? Right? We kind of broke that down a little bit. Um then we went into to to chapter five. We talked [02:47] about a lot of the sins that won't make it into the kingdom. went in chapter six and we talked about how you know what [02:52] I'm saying the uh the the the our war is not with flesh and blood [02:58] uh and that you know what I'm saying the word is the spirit right so when we read the word that's the spirit written down [03:04] in word form it's important for us to understand that and to know that because the most high God has never left us [03:11] without his spirit he always had his word is always around his word is always made available and we appreciate the [03:17] most high for that So, um, let's go ahead and, um, where the raggedy boys [03:23] at? Where other children? They always try to eat. They all There always try to eat when they, you know [03:28] what I'm saying? Soon, soon as study start, suddenly we hungry. Uh, uh, boss, we we got something to eat. That's [03:34] crazy. Y'all look related. Hey, why all these girls hang out? You know what I'm saying? Why they all look alike? All of [03:40] friends look like her till this date still. Wait, [03:46] little mascot. You know what I'm saying? All a little messy. racially ambiguous. Multiculty. You know what I'm saying? [03:51] What they call? We don't know. You could be Arabian. You know what I'm saying? You could be Mexican. You know [03:57] what I'm saying? That's right. You got that mail. You know what I'm saying? Got some. You got a little Hebrew in there somewhere. [04:03] You know what I'm saying? Somewhere that's in there. Pops. Pops didn't You know what I'm saying? I don't know. You know what I'm [04:08] saying? Yeah. We didn't come here to talk about Bruno. [04:13] You know what I'm talking about? That what it is. You know what I'm saying? You know what I mean? Ain't that ago? [04:19] We didn't We didn't come here to talk about Bruno. Ain't that ago? What is that even? What say [04:24] how? We don't talk about Oh, we don't talk about Bruno. What does that mean? That's some young thing. Go ahead, screw me on and like [04:31] the movie. Look, they even say it right. GTO. When you say when you say it right, first of all, you know what I'm saying? And canon. You [04:38] know what I'm saying? That's what you got to say. You know what I'm saying? Like chicken fagitas and quesadillas. Okay. [04:46] So listen, we about to kick it off in the book of Titus. Give me uh Titus chapter 1. [04:53] Here's the book of Titus chapter 1. Let's see what the book say. [05:05] Why confuse Titus with Timothy on the place of the book? [05:20] Paul, a servant of God, an apostle of Yosua the Messiah, according to the faith of God's elect and the [05:26] acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness. Uhhuh. In hope of eternal life, which God that [05:31] cannot lie. Excuse me. Mhm. Promised before the world began. Yep. but hath in due times manifested [05:37] his word through preaching which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our savior. [05:43] You see how Paul wasn't bashful about what he had like. You know what I'm saying? My name is Paul. I'm elect of [05:48] God. What does that mean? Elect of God. That's chosen. You know what I'm saying? [05:54] When the people elected Donald I can't say these people cuz I voted. But when we elected Donald Trump, [06:00] you know what I'm saying? Don't get mad at me. Don't get mad at me. When we elected Donald Trump, [06:07] we chose him. That what that mean? All right, let me go one that's a little bit more, you [06:13] know what I'm saying? A little bit more socially acceptable. When we elected Barack Obama, [06:19] we chose him. So that sounds like someone that's going to betray. [06:25] It does that name. I hear that name. It's like I just immediately [06:30] traitor. So you look at it, that's what Paul is saying. So I want y'all to listen to it in like the same way that [06:37] we would speak today. Paul is saying, "Yo man, it's me. It's Paul." You know what I'm saying? I'm God's chosen. If we [06:44] heard somebody say that today, we'd be looking at him like, "Man, look at you." You know what I'm saying? Like who you think? Who you think he is? God's [06:50] chosen. We think God chose you. God chose all of us. That's how people would get to talking, right? But he's not [06:56] bashful about it. He's not playing around like, "Oh, well, you know, we're all God's children. No, he telling you [07:02] straight out, no, I'm that I'm that guy. God God elected me. And then watch what he say after that. Read that last verse [07:08] again. But has in due time manifested his [07:14] world. Look, he said in due time he's manifested his what? His word. His word. What? [07:19] Through preaching. Look, look. He said in due time he made his word obvious to people through [07:26] people preaching it. Then watch what he say next. Committed unto me according. He said it was committed onto who? Unto me. [07:31] He gave it to me according to the commandment of God our savior. Right? He's not being bashful by he [07:37] saying listen or if you looking for the truth. The word of the most high God was committed onto me. In other words, I'm [07:44] the person that you get the word from. Right? Paul's different. Paul's not like me. Paul's not like like one of these [07:51] these rat hole church leaders that you know what I'm saying that's across the street over here. Right? because they [07:58] running their darn mouth. I'm running my darn mouth. We looking at the book and [08:03] we trying to we trying to understand it. We trying to break it down and make sense of it. That's not Paul. Paul is [08:09] saying, "No, I got this information directly from the most high God. I fully understand it. He confirmed it for me. [08:15] Now, the the way that you can get the truth, you come to me." Right? That's something that we have to [08:21] understand. And that's that's what he's introducing himself as. that gives him the credibility to talk. Sometimes you [08:28] don't want to talk to I would just my my wife was showing me a book just now and the first thing I ask I say okay well [08:34] you know what I'm saying let me look at this book right so I try to get the credibility of the book first thing I do [08:41] I want to read the back right so I go to the thing it's on the website but I go to the thing to show you what's on the [08:47] back of the book and read it and I'm listening I'm I'm kind of listening to myself read and I'm like okay now this [08:52] guy who wrote this book I don't know him but the way he's talking he might have some credibility. So I said, "You know [08:58] what? That's a good book. Let's see what it say. Let's figure it out." I don't read no books, though. So she going to [09:04] have to read it and then tell me what it say. She going to be like, "You know what I'm saying? This is what I learned. Interesting." And then we going to learn from it, right? But that's what that's [09:12] what people do. You learn from people that have credibility. So Paul is starting this out giving you [09:18] his credibility like, "Yeah, I'm elected of God. I'm his chosen one." You know what I'm saying? Oh, and also, you know [09:23] what I'm saying? The most high God, the way he make his word manifest. In other words, the way he make his word known is [09:30] through preaching. And uh he committed that to me. Keep going. Watch this. [09:36] To Titus, my own son, after the common faith, grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and the Master Yahosua, our [09:44] Savior. Mhm. For this cause left I thee in cree that you should set in order the things that [09:50] are wanting and ordain elders in every city as I has appointed thee. Mhm. [09:55] If any be blameless the husband of one wife having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly. For a bishop [10:02] must be blameless as the steward of God. Not self-willed. Not soon angry. Not given a whine. No striker. Not given a [10:09] filthy lucer. But a lover of hospitality. A lover of good men. sober, just, holy, and temperate. [10:15] So now, everything that we just read, is that the end of it or keep going? No. Holding fast the faithful word as he [10:21] hath been taught, that he may be able to by sound doctrine both exhort and to convince the gains. [10:27] So that's it. Yeah. So I want to make sure we get through it because we going to read it again and we going to read it slow this time. Right. [10:34] These are the requirements of somebody who calls leading a church or leading a a congregation or leading people to God, [10:42] right? Let's go back to the top and let's read it slow. Watch this. Where's your brother? [10:54] But you shall set the things in order that are wanting and ordain elders in every city as I has appointed thee. [11:00] Elders in every city as I have appointed thee. Elders are like leaders, right? Leaders of the congregation. Watch this. [11:06] If any be blameless, the husband of one wife. So you got to be blameless and you got to be the husband of one wife. What [11:12] does that mean? What does blameless mean? It means without sin. [11:19] That mean can't nobody blame you for anything that's sinful. Somebody walk up like, "No, man. I just saw you getting [11:25] drunk and and smoking weed." I lost that. I just saw you out there cussing [11:30] somebody out. That lost that. I just saw you cheating on your wife. That lost that. Right. You can't do any of these [11:37] things and be a elder or a leader of a congregation. Keep going. Watch. What [11:43] else he said? He said blameless and what else? Yeah. The husband of one wife. Got to be the husband of one wife. So I [11:49] mean like what if I was a husband of one wife? Then I was [11:55] like and then I go get me another wife. [12:02] How many wives that Okay. Okay. What if I the husband of one [12:10] wife and God forbid my wife passes away [12:16] and then I go get me another one? How many wives I have? [12:22] Okay. Okay. Okay. What if I one of them wild boys? You know what I'm saying? [12:28] What do they call it? Polyamory. You know what I'm saying? Whatever it is, the little poly pololly [12:33] and I say I want two, three wise at one time. [12:39] How many wise I got? Two or three. Two or three. You know what I'm saying? We know arithmetic. You know what I'm [12:45] talking about? So, guess what happens? You're no longer qualified. A lot of times we focus on the fact that that [12:53] women, right, the book say women are not supposed to teach or use certain [13:00] authority over men when it comes to the word, right? And a lot of times we look [13:05] at that and we say that's not fair. And part of the reason that we say [13:11] that's not fair is because nobody is teaching people what darn men is not [13:16] supposed to be up here teaching. The average pastor that y'all didn't [13:21] heard from and talked to is on a second and third wife. [13:30] He on his fifth right now. You know what I'm saying? He trying to get away from the fourth right now. You know what I [13:35] mean? That's what happens. I remember I was at church and I had a pastor. You [13:41] know what I'm saying? His pastor was the pastor name his name was uh Don Bur. I thought he was a great pastor. And I'm [13:48] just a kid. He pop in. He got a wife. They got married. I remember they got [13:54] married while I was going to the church. He shouldn't even have been a pastor because he wasn't married to begin with. [14:00] So I don't have zero wife. It's a what? Husband? How many wives? So I have zero wives. Can I re can I [14:08] preach the word? Can I teach? Can I lead a congregation? Didn't wasn't Paul not married? [14:14] Yeah. Paul No. No. Paul Paul uh they say they say Paul used to be married the [14:20] tradition but it don't it's not explicit in the book they say that he used to be married and his wife uh passed or [14:26] something that's the tradition but um but yeah if I have zero [14:33] wives according to what it just said there am I a husband or one wife no I ain't married so guess what sit your [14:40] butt down right if we taught people that people will understand that the Most [14:45] high God don't care if you a woman or a man. He just care about the rule. And the rule is the rule. And if you're a [14:52] man, these are the rules. And if you're a woman, these are the rule. That got that. Ain't nothing else to talk about. [14:57] A lot of these guys that's preaching and teaching the word. You can you can kind of set it aside and decide, am I talking [15:03] to somebody credible or not? You know how you can decide that? By lining them up right here. Are you blameless? No. [15:10] Your sinning butt ain't blameless. Right? Are you a husband or no wife? No. Get your single butt out of here. And [15:16] what else? Let's keep going. [Music] [15:23] Having faithful children. Uhoh. You know the what they say about pastor kids. [15:29] What they be saying about tell you something? [15:37] We don't got to talk about it. You know what I'm saying? But long long ago, [15:42] long long long time ago and pastor girl, you know what I'm saying? A little wow. [15:47] A little crazy. You know what I'm talking about? And that's what happens. And it's a it's a thing. It's like everybody know it. You the son of a [15:54] preacher. Oh yeah, I know you crazy. That's how it work. [16:00] If that's the reputation, y'all tell me if my kids are crazy. Right. If that's the reputation, guess what you got to [16:05] do? Sit your butt down. Read it again. I ain't making this stuff up. Having faithful children. [16:12] Your kids supposed to be faithful. I tell my kid, where they at? I wish he [16:18] was up here. I tell my kids all the time. You can ask my wife. If you not going to do what I say, what can my kids [16:24] do? Get your butt out my house cuz I can't claim you no more. [16:30] I'd rather get rid of you. If you not going to say, if you're not going to do what I say, you're not going to respect my rule. You not going Am I trying to do [16:36] anything bad to my kids? Right? I feel like I spent a lifetime gathering wisdom [16:41] and understanding and patience trying to lead you the right way. I learned the Bible to make sure I could teach you the [16:47] right thing. And you don't want to do what I say. Okay, go get it. Go get it [16:53] how you live out there in these streets. I've been there. I've been in the streets. I didn't try to get it how I [16:59] live. And guess what happened? I was like, "Don't kill me." Right at this point now, I just want you [17:06] to live. You got to be a faithful kid if you going to be in my house. If not, go on go figure it out. If I ask your [17:12] grandma to take you in and I ain't send no child support. You know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm saying? Get it. Figure it out. You know what I'm [17:19] saying? I might send child support though. People start trying to garnish my wages and all that. You know what I'm saying? Got messed up. You know what I'm [17:25] saying? But that's what happens, right? You have to have faithful children if you going to teach the word. Why [17:34] it don't say that right there? Oh, it must be Timothy. Keep going. For a bishop must Well, Timothy would [17:40] say, "If you can't rule your own household or lead your own household, how can you lead the congregation of God?" [17:45] Yeah. For a bishop must be blameless. Wait, sorry. Uh, not accused of riot or [17:51] unruly. What does that mean? Not accused of riot or unruly. Partying, just wilding out, you know [17:58] what I'm saying? Fighting people, fighting, tripping out. You know what I'm saying? If y'all see, look, when we was out there playing [18:03] kickball last night, if y'all see me out there like, "Hey, hey, what up, blood? Let's squabble up. [ __ ] wop." Getting [18:09] that and I get it down and be like, "All right, tomorrow I'm about to teach Bible study." Guess what? One of y'all had a [18:14] right to come up to me and like, "Hey, Uncle Phil, sit your butt down. You go ahead and sit down." You know what I'm saying? Sit down. Cuz you ain't got no [18:20] reason out here rioting. I'm out here taking shots. If y'all see me doing that, guess what? [18:26] Go ahead and sit your butt down. You know what I'm saying? He ain't got no reason leading no congregation, teaching nobody no word. Sit your butt down. All [18:34] right, keep going. [18:39] But a lover of Wait, sorry. But for a bishop must be blameless as the steward of God. Not self-willed, not angry, not [18:45] right. Not self-willed. What does it mean to be self-willed? Serving yourself, doing the things that you want to do, only looking out for [18:52] your own gain. Everything you do is only about you. We cannot be like that. [19:01] It don't matter what people think of you. There's a lot of people that think I'm self-willed. That's fine. But you [19:07] have to you have to be tuned in with the most high God. And you have to know that your life cannot revol revolve around [19:14] just you. You cannot live like that. Right? The way you got to live, your life won't even be fulfilled, [19:22] right? You have to do things for people. I was talking to my brother. He going through a lot of stuff, right? He going [19:27] through a lot, right? And I'm talking to him. He looking like, man, like with everything I'm going through, [19:34] like this was my identity. Like this is who I am. And now I got to figure all that out again. I'm looking like, yeah, [19:42] but no. Yeah, but no. Right? And I'm like, but if you do want to try to figure out who [19:48] you are again, in the midst of doing it, go find a hobby and make sure that hobby [19:53] is in service to somebody else. And even when it makes you mad, even when you don't feel like it, commit to doing it [19:59] and serve somebody else. No matter what it is, pick up somebody and take them to work every morning or, you know what I'm [20:05] saying, go feed some homeless folks or do it, but do something consistently that serves other people and I assure [20:12] you, you will begin to find identity in yourself, right? That's how it works, [20:18] right? We have to like we're we're made to support each other. That's the whole [20:23] reason that the most high God made us is to help support each other in honor of him, right? And that's that's that's [20:30] what gives us fulfillment in our life. But it also frustrates us. So a lot of times we we escape the frustration, [20:37] right? Because it's like, "Oh, I that person makes me mad or this situation makes me mad or I'm I'm okay with doing [20:42] this, but if somebody respond to it, if you don't say thank you, if you disrespect me after I do something for [20:48] you, that makes me mad." Right? And we run from the frustration. [20:55] And when we run from the frustration, we also run from the fulfillment of doing things for other people. And that leaves [21:01] us in a a horrible spot mentally. We don't know why, right? That thing, you know, we can't make sense of what's [21:06] happening. But deep down, that's what it is. We're being self-willed. A man of God can't do that. A man of God that's [21:13] leading a congregation cannot do that. Right? Keep going. Watch this. [21:20] But a lover of hospitality, Wait, my bad. For a bishop must be blameless as the steward of God. Not [21:26] self tough willed. Not soon angry. He said not soon angry. What does that mean? Getting angry quick. You can't get angry quick. You got to [21:33] have patience. Right. Male almost crashed my car just [21:40] now. That's hate. First of all, that's hate. [21:45] First of all, that's hate. But Mel almost crashed my car. That's a snitch. I told look I told I told Mel I said [21:52] just tap the pedal. You know you you always got when people driving the car you always got to give them the pedal [21:58] test. I gave the heart a pedal test. What you do? I got it right. That's crazy. The the the heart stepped [22:04] on that pedal so darn hard the car start coughing. I see that boy. [22:09] I said oh hell no. You can't drive my car boy. Right. Male stepped on that thing. I was looking like male. We would [22:17] have been right into that tanker right there. Right there. Boom. But then with [22:23] patient, I didn't freak out. I didn't get mad, did I? No. We just say, "Okay, well, look, calm down. We going to do [22:29] this test a couple times. We get it right." And then guess what, man? Bent them corner so smooth. [22:36] That's what it is. Cuz you get further like that. You get further when you [22:42] Everything is just a It's a decoy. Think of life is like life is going to throw decoys at you first. You know what a [22:48] decoy is, right? What's a decoy? You know what a decoy is? What's a decoy? You know what a decoy is? [22:53] Right. Go get your book. What's a decoy? You know what a decoy is? Like a distraction. Like a distraction. That's what life [22:59] throws at you. A bunch of distractions. A bunch of stuff that's make you go what? What's going over here? What? [23:04] What's going over here? And that's why we we in life when you become an adult, life just be smacking your butt because [23:10] you don't see the real threat coming because you so you focus on all these distraction then the real sm how did I [23:16] get myself here? That's what adults be asking theirel, right? Seriously, adults be asking, they be sitting there sitting [23:22] in their room. They don't be asking out loud. They be sitting in their room quiet, how in the world did I get myself [23:28] in this situation, right? Right. And the only reason that question is coming, [23:33] the only reason we sit here and ask ourselves that question is because life be coming at us quick and we get [23:39] distracted by the by the by the decoys and then we don't see the real threat [23:45] coming at us and it hits us and now we looking like crap, how did I get here? [23:50] Right? A lot of that happens because you don't have patience. Right? You can't be [23:56] soon angry. You cannot get angry fast. A lot of the stuff that's going on in life, at some point you get angry. And [24:02] there's a place for anger. It's not It's not a sin to be angry, right? It's a [24:07] place for anger. Is anger has a purpose. Y'all will see me get mad sometimes, right? But it's never going to be quick. [24:13] Y'all willing, right? It's never going to be quick. It's going to take some time. You gonna have to work my patience [24:19] all the way up. Then I'm like, "Okay, that's all I got after this. It's about to go down." You know what I'm saying? [24:25] But it's important. It's important that you patient. You paying attention. You keep your mind clear. When you get angry, your mind is no longer clear, [24:32] right? It's just a bunch of stuff rushing in there. You know what I'm saying? You keep your mind clear. You think through everything. [24:39] Control your emotions. Once you in control of your emotions, you running it. You running the show, right? That's [24:44] how it go. So, you can't be soon angry. What else? [24:51] Uh, no striker not given to Filthy Luker. Not given to wine. He said, "No [24:57] striker." So that's talking about brawling. Remember I said you can't be out there fighting and doing all that extra stuff. So you can't be a striker. [25:03] You can't be beating. Some of these pastors be beating their wife, right? Some of these pastors on the low be [25:09] smacking their wife up, right? Guess what? If you smack your wife and you anybody, one, you a sorry man. But the [25:15] next thing is if you a pastor, you're a striker. And guess what that mean? Sit your butt down. [25:22] Sit your butt down. Yeah. You can't teach nobody no Most High God word. And you out here striking people, you hitting people, right? Keep going. Watch [25:29] what's not. Not giving the wine. No, not giving the [25:36] filthy Lucer. Right. I can't be getting drunk. And I can't be I can't be always thinking [25:41] about, man, how do I, you know what I'm saying? I'm trying to I'm trying to flip this, make a little bit more money. I'm trying to get my hustle up. You can't be [25:47] giving to filthy Lucer. In other words, you can't be so thirsty for money that you willing to do anything. It's a weak [25:54] quality. Y'all gonna meet young young males and young women. You know what I'm saying? As y'all start to grow up. And [26:00] when y'all see that these women or these males are so focused on money, they just [26:06] focus on, "Oh man, I just got to get it, man. This, that, and another, this, that, and another." Red flag. Red flag. [26:12] Look, the world going to try to tell you that's an ambitious young man. What I'm telling you is you going to spend the [26:18] rest of your life with somebody who's trying to chase something that can't be attained, that's never satisfied. And if [26:24] they never satisfied with that, guess who else they never going to be satisfied with? That's true. [26:30] Yeah, that too. But they not going to be satisfied with you. You marry somebody who's never satisfied, they also never [26:36] going to be satisfied with you. And you going to find that they cheating. You going to find that they out doing whatever they doing, all that. You got [26:42] to find contentment, right? You got to look at life and just be like, "This is enough. This is enough. If something [26:48] else happened, I'll take it. But this is enough for me. I'm okay with this." Right? Keep going. What else? Filthy [26:53] Luker. But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men. He said, "A lover of hospitality." [27:00] What's that? Like, okay. All right. Hey, I can admit [27:07] when I'm wrong. You know what I mean? I can admit when I'm wrong. You know what I'm saying? What's a lover of hospitality? [27:15] Taking care of people. Taking care of people, right? Somebody Somebody knock on your [27:20] door. You invite them in, man. Come on in. Come on in. Right. You need a glass of [27:27] water. Most of the time when y'all come over, I got something to eat, don't I? I try [27:33] not. I mean, it's been a couple. Y'all probably got me a couple times. You know what I'm saying? But most of the time, we going to have at least some pizza [27:39] downstairs. Some hospitality, right? I don't want nobody come to my house hungry. Yeah, you mostly have pizza. [27:46] That's hate. That's hate. I'm just saying. That's hate. That's all I'm saying. Ain't nobody ask you exactly what I had. I already mentioned that [27:52] sometimes in PDL that's eight. All right, that's too two haters. You know what I'm saying? Two. There's two [27:58] of them. Two directions. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Got to do it. You know what I'm saying? Goodness gra. Dang. It's a lot. There's [28:05] a lot of hate in the room. Do it say anything about you can't be an elder if you hate. [28:11] Keep going. Let me see what else we got. A lover of good men. Okay. Sober. Just. [28:17] Got to be sober. Got to be just. Got to be holy. Holy means what? Set a [28:24] nobody. What does holy mean? Set apart. [28:29] Oh, that's a bad girl. You know what I'm talking about. That's a bad girl. That's [28:34] hate. That's a bad girl. That means set apart, right? That means you're separated, [28:41] right? When you when you when you se when you separated to the most high God, you you [28:47] stand different. You look different. You talk about different stuff, right? It don't mean separated as in, you know [28:52] what I'm saying? I'm never around people. Y'all see me, I'm always around people. But when I'm around whoever I'm around, it's never the same, right? [28:59] Unless they on the same thing I'm on. But if you ain't on the same thing I'm on, it's never the same, right? You got to be set apart. And it feels different. [29:06] It look different. You know what I'm saying? When you look around, you see you see I see T around people. I don't [29:11] look at T and be like, "Oh yeah, he he with the same group." No, he look different. It's it feel different. [29:16] Right. When people talk to T is different. They not talking to T with the same conversation they talked when when when my brothers out there talking [29:23] last night. They not walking up the tea talking with the same talk. The whole conversation is different, [29:30] right? I listen to something and it's nothing. It's nothing. Again, my brothers is them, right? But it's the [29:36] it's just a different conversation on over there. They talking about important stuff to them. And then the same people [29:42] come over to me and what we talking about? Houses and religion and family and kids playing basketball and all [29:48] that. Because the conversation changes based off of who we are. All of us have different conversations. When you serve [29:54] the most high God and you're a leader of a congregation, your conversation is going to be reflective of something [29:59] totally different. You're going to be separated. Right. Keep going. [30:07] holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught that he may be able to with by sound doctrine both to exhort and to [30:14] convince the gains. All right, so hold on. So we got a couple questions. First question was [30:21] read it for me. Uh Zakar, I mean Zahar. [30:27] Oh, somebody supposed to hear that. You know what I'm saying? Y'all in the room and ain't heard what he said? Okay, [30:33] let me let me go ahead and read. He said, "Can a leader not choose to be married to the church?" Heck no. That [30:40] ain't even a real thing. Talking about some darn married to the church. But no, you can't. No, a leader can't do that. Like a leader can't say, "I don't want [30:47] to get married. I want to be married to the to the congregation." The most high God is saying through through Paul, you [30:53] have to be a husband of one wife to do this, right? To lead this congregation, you got to be a husband or one wife. [31:00] That's the rule that he set for it. So, no, you can't you can't call yourself married to the congregation. That's [31:05] Yahushua's job, right? Your job is to be married to a wife if you going to try to lead the [31:11] congregation. Now, listen, it's okay. You don't have to lead the congregation. Not every not every not every person is [31:17] meant to lead a congregation. This, you know what I'm saying? You can sit your butt down. It is okay to sit your butt down and [31:24] listen to the word as opposed to teaching the word. That's fine, right? I don't want y'all to think that what I'm [31:29] saying is every human being has to has to do these things. No, you just got to turn away from sin. You do that, you'll [31:35] be all right. But when it come to leading a congregation, don't call yourself a pastor and you going after filthy lucer. And filthy lucer just mean [31:42] money. Dirty money. You ever heard somebody say dirty money? Yep. Okay. That's what that filthy luker just [31:48] mean dirty money. Dirty. Yeah. Doing doing wrong things, [31:53] unethical things to get money. You got to cheat people to get money. You got to lie on people to get money. You got to [32:00] scam people to get money. Right. So the next question is [32:07] would wanting nice things be an example of giving to filthy Lucer. Not going out [32:13] of your way, working extreme hours to get it, but saving your funds to buy [32:18] nice things. No, that is not an example of dirty money. Right. Fair and square. You earned it on a job. [32:24] Yeah. You work hard. You want something, you want something nice, you got the money to get it, you get it. And you ain't got to cheat nobody or twist [32:30] nobody arm or do nothing do nothing foul to get it. That's clean. Yeah. You got uh like King David, [32:36] Solomon, you know, Abraham, Jacob, all of them rich kings. And the most high God gave them those riches. [32:42] They all had a lot of [32:47] Yeah. You got to take something, then that's dirty money. You don't want to take nothing from nobody. You want to earn everything you got. You want to [32:53] earn it with your own, then they ain't taking. You know what I'm saying? I'm talking about stealing, right? You know what I'm saying? You gota you got to [32:59] make sure you got to make sure you know what I'm saying. You earn everything you get. You deserve everything you get. That way you ain't got nothing to worry [33:05] about. What? What if you come across money and nobody's around? [33:12] Well, that ain't dirty money unless it got dirt on it. You know what I'm talking about? That's a different story. [33:17] It say, "Don't Paul say it's better to be single, but here if so, you can't [33:22] lead the congregation." And that's is that absolutely right. Right. That's absolutely right. Again, [33:28] not everybody is meant to do everything. Not everybody is meant to be a leader of a congregation. So he [33:35] Paul said in his opinion, remember he said in my opinion, I would prefer for y'all to stay single because then you [33:42] can f focus on serving God. Right? So that's his opinion. So his opinion also would be then [33:49] don't focus on on trying to lead a congregation because you can't when you're single. However, oh go ahead. [33:55] Yeah. He he also I was making your point. He also said I would to God that you like don't try to be too many [34:00] leaders, right? Don't try to be leaders because they get the uh the harsher condemnation, right? They get the harsher judgment from the most high God. [34:07] So he also encoura he also was like, you know, I don't you know, don't try to be go out there trying to be no leader because don't you know they get punished [34:13] a little bit stricter. You know what I mean? Yeah. Grab, matter of fact, grab James chapter uh [34:22] what I want with James. It's either two or three. [34:27] James only go to what it five. I think James only go to five. [34:33] So we got another question. It say so filthy so dirty money. We going to call it dirty money. So filthy lucer, which [34:38] is dirty money just means earning money in the wrong ways, right? This wouldn't apply to say buying a house. What you [34:46] say? Buying discounted goods from a booster. No, that's exactly No, that's exactly the same. [34:52] Don't buy discounted goods. That's exactly dirty money. You know what I'm saying? [34:57] You know what I'm saying? If you know nothing about it, okay. But if you know that's what you doing. [35:02] Yeah. Yeah. No, you you supporting somebody getting something illegally. Somebody come to you like, "Hey, I got a [35:07] yard sale." You know, if you actually don't know that these things are stolen goods, like, you know, okay. But if you [35:14] know you going to the booster, you don't want to do Yeah. All that trading EBT stamps, you [35:19] know what I'm saying? All that. You know what I'm saying? Lying on your taxes, all that is filthy Luca. [35:27] Y'all got a lot of questions on this topic. All y'all trying to be pastors? No. They trying to get money. [35:34] What's scamming and what's not? What if you have money and they still [35:39] you still there for you? That's OJ Simpson. [35:45] That's a good question. Y'all know who OJ Simpson is? [35:51] All right, let me tell y'all about OJ Simpson. OJ Simpson was a f that's hate. Look, OJ [35:57] Simpson was a famous football player, right? He drove a white Bronco. What? [36:05] He drove a white Bronco. A car. A car. He He was married. Was he married to [36:11] He was married to a white lady. He's a black man. He was married to a white lady who was [36:18] found stabbed up and killed, right? [36:23] He's in a white bronco. Police chasing him. They put him in jail. It became a big thing because at around the same [36:29] time, you had a man named Rodney King. Rodney King was a black man. They got [36:35] beat up by the police on camera, caught him red-handed, and none of the police [36:41] got charged, right? So, all the black people have been you kind of on edge [36:46] after that event, right? Then OJ Simpson gets locked up. So, they looking at it [36:52] like y'all about to do and he famous. It ain't like Rodney King who nobody knew who Rodney King was until they saw him [36:57] get beat up. OJ Simp get locked up and he's married to a [37:04] white wife, right? And so this is a black man wear to a white wife when all [37:10] of this racial tension is going on and they looking like, you know what they always do to black men who marry these [37:17] white women? You know what they do? They set them up and kill them. Right? So all the black people is looking at OJ [37:23] Simpson like, "Y'all better not do that to him. Y'all better not do that to him. That's our OJ Simpson, right? Even [37:29] though OJ Simpson really didn't mess with black people like that, but you know what I'm saying. But nevertheless, that's how we felt at the time. So OJ [37:36] Simpson gets locked up. He goes on trial and guess what? He's found not guilty of [37:42] murdering his wife, so they let him go. But a lot of people felt like there was [37:49] a lot of evidence to say that he was guilty. though almost every white American thought that OJ Simpson to this [37:56] day if y'all just mention just walk up to a random white person be like that OJ Simpson trial right do you think he was [38:02] guilty they're going to say heck yeah he was guilty right almost every white [38:08] person believes OJ Simpson is guilty almost every black person secretly [38:13] believes OJ Simpson was guilty everybody believes he was guilty but guess what he [38:18] beat it they declared him not guilty So OJ Simpson was then sued by his his [38:26] uh his his wife's his past wife's uh family. They sued him and they took some [38:33] of his things, right? Took his stuff. So OJ Simpson went out here actually and it [38:40] was an auction where they're auctioning off his stuff so that they can pay the family the money that he owed him that they say he owed him. OJ Simpson went to [38:47] the auction and he said, "These are my things." [38:53] Took them and took them home. And so what they did is they put him in jail for stealing his own previous [39:00] merchandise, right? And they put him in jail for like 20 years or something like that. They put him in jail for a long [39:06] time over that. He was in there for a while. He was in there for a long time. So that's what I was talking about when I [39:11] say if you somebody takes something from you and you take it back, you steal it back, they might do you like OJ Simpson [39:17] cuz you darkkinned boy. You know what I'm saying? That's my boy. You know what I'm saying? That's my boy. You know what I'm talking about? [39:23] Is he still alive? No, he he passed away. I think he passed away from cancer like uh he died like last year or the [39:29] year before. Yeah. Okay. But you do not take it easy. [39:35] You don't even like question. [39:40] But yeah, still is it still considered dirty money like the cost of person? Uh, no. If somebody actually stole it [39:47] from you um and you steal it back, you I mean you shouldn't you shouldn't if somebody actually steals something from you, you shouldn't steal it back, you [39:54] should deal with it the proper way. Go to the authorities, let them know that your stuff was stolen so that way they [39:59] can go return it for you. It's dangerous to try to steal your stuff back. You asking for something crazy. However, if you find yourself in that position, no, [40:06] that's not dirty money. You stealing your stuff back that was stolen from you? [40:12] Last question. Go. How How was OJ Simpson not guilty? Oh, cuz the police set him up. OJ [40:19] Simpson wasn't guilty because the police set him up. Let me tell y'all about it. The police was racist. So, they start hand mishandling the evidence. They [40:25] doing all this stuff. They was trying to pin a murder on him because he's black. [40:30] That's it. You know what I'm saying? So, they tried to pin the murder on him and and it didn't pan out. Truth is, there's [40:37] somebody else that's probably still alive right now that killed that white woman and they never gonna find that [40:43] person and bring him to justice. You know why? Because they were so focused on trying to, you know, put a black man down. [40:51] You know what I'm saying? But there's no reason to assume nothing crazy like that. All right, let's keep going. What [40:56] we What do we got another question? Okay. No. Well, let's keep going. [41:03] James. This is James chapter 1 verse uh what? Chapter 2 verse what? [41:08] Three and two. Is it two? It should be right at the top. It ain't two. It's three. Try three. [41:14] It's probably four. You never include one or four. You never [41:20] uh three. One. That's a bad boy still. It took me a couple tries. It's still a bad boy. [41:25] My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. When he says [41:31] masters, he's talking about a leader of a congregation. Like a like a teacher, right? So he said don't try to be a [41:36] teacher. Why? Because we what? Because we shall receive the greater condemnation. So this is what brother T was talking [41:42] about when he's saying not everybody is meant to be a teacher. Not everybody is meant to be a leader of congregation. You don't have to feel pressure to you [41:49] have to do this. When we talk about this list of things, let's go back to uh Titus. When we talking about this list of things, it's not a list saying it's [41:56] required of everyone, right? There are certain pieces of it that's required for everyone, but this is specifically a [42:01] list to to help us discern who is appropriate to teach us the Bible as a [42:07] leader, right? It's different to teach each other a Bible as a peer, right? If [42:12] I'm talking to T and I'm just like, "Yeah, man. Look at look at what I found in the Bible." That's different. But to stand in front of a podium like this and [42:18] to try to teach with authority where you telling people to get up and stand down and you know what I'm saying, this is [42:23] what you need to do and this that and the other and God wants you to do this. If you're doing that, it comes with some [42:28] requirements. You got to meet the list. And if you don't meet the list, guess what you need to do? Everybody say it with me. [42:34] Sit your butt down. Okay. Three, two, one. Sit your butt down. [42:39] That's it. If we can sit your butt down, that's how look. That's how the real pastors, they uh turn to your right. You [42:46] know what I'm saying? They tell you to do stuff. You can't just When the last time you went to a church and you your butt just sat there. [42:52] That's my You got to participate. They going to tell you to stand up and clap. Stand up [42:57] and pray. Sit down. They going to tell you turn to your neighbor. You know what I'm saying? They going to tell you to do all that. They going to say, "Won't you [43:03] come to the front? Everybody close your eye. Hold hands and pray." They they they giving you so many commands. Tell [43:09] your neighbor. Tell them. Neighbored. Can I tell them to give you anointed? No. They No, they they be have they be [43:16] having some fly. They be having Listen, you be in church feeling like Yeah. They be saying some fly stuff to you. They be [43:22] there. Let me tell you something. And David and David was going through a [43:29] rough time. But let me tell you, God wasn't done with him. Turn to your [43:34] neighbor and say, "God ain't done with me." You know what they be? Doing that type of stuff. You but can't wait to [43:40] turn God ain't done with me. God ain't done with me. God ain't never [43:46] been He been working on me my whole life. You know what I'm saying? And that's how they make you feel cuz they good at what they do. But guess what? If [43:53] they don't line up here, sit your butt down. That's crazy, right? Keep going. [44:00] Let's see what the book say. But there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision, whose mouths must [44:07] be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not. Yeah. Some of these people teaching [44:12] stuff they ain't got no business teaching. Some of these people teaching stuff they have zero business teaching. And they do [44:19] it for what reason? Filthy lucrative. They collected money from the people. That same church I was [44:24] just telling you that say turn to your neighbor and say neighbor God then loose the chains and now you [44:32] just got to step out and then the organ start playing. Then you start pop locking. You know [44:38] what I'm saying? Look like they do all that stuff and we be sitting there like, "Oh, the spirit is moving in here." [44:44] Right? Sometimes they doing that and right after that, guess what they do? [44:51] All right. Now, there's an envelope under your seat. Now, it's an envelope underneath the seat. We [44:56] going to pass this around. You know what I'm saying? And I want y'all to dig deep [45:02] in your pockets because yesterday, look, I kid you not, one of [45:08] the pastors said he pass look, he he told a whole story before he started asking for money. He said, "Now, [45:17] the bank just called And they said [45:23] they are going to repossess the building, [45:30] but this I heard to cut the lights off one one time. That's crazy. I heard that one. But this [45:37] we are believing God that this is not a building. They always try to touch and [45:43] rub on something while they talk. This is not a building. [45:48] This is a house of God. And let me tell you something, they can't take back [45:54] what's God. Yahosua said, "Give unto Caesar." What is Caesars? But give on to [46:01] God. And the whole crowd say, "What is God?" Then he get done saying that and say, [46:07] "Now say that's not Y." They would have said, "Geez, I messed it up." Then he go right as he get done [46:13] saying that now. Go ahead. I want to see somebody. If anybody got a $100, come to [46:18] the front. I want to What they call it? They call it a uh [46:24] No, they call it a seed. Something seed. Sister Sharon, you've been to church lately. You know what I'm saying? What [46:29] what they be calling Sister Sharon when they when they sew a seed, they call it a special seed. It's a uh it's a uh [46:37] ah I can't remember. It's like a It's like a [46:43] I can't remember. I'm about to get mad. But they call this thing like a special type of seed. I want y'all to sew a [46:49] special type of seed that I can't think of the name right now and then they put it in the envelope and then they gonna tell you and they going to do second [46:55] rounds and be like, "Okay, now who got $50?" And they shaking you down the whole time. They take all that money. [47:01] They lied about that bank phone call. They didn't lie about the bank phone call. The bank phone call really [47:06] happened. But the only reason the bank phone call happened is not because they wasn't collecting enough money last week. It's because they spent that money [47:12] on stuff that they ain't had nobody to spend it on. And now they coming this week and they really in trouble. So now they begging for more money which they [47:18] probably still going to spend and they going to pay the minimum payment and be back next month with the same thing. They just trying to make it to Easter [47:25] cuz when Easter come around they can pay all the bills cuz everybody come on Easter, right? But that's the game they [47:31] play and they teach things they ought not teach for the sake of dirty money. That's filthy lucer when I'm lying or [47:38] feeding people emptiness. Sometimes they not lying. They just tell you nothing. And they make they make it sound like [47:43] they saying a whole bunch of great stuff. Oh, the God didn't loose the chain. Oh, wait. Hold on. Oh, God [47:49] speaking to me. It's somebody right here with one eye open. He peeking. It's somebody right here. Oh, I [47:56] feel like I feel like it's a girl. It's a girl. It's a girl. If you If you a [48:01] male, I just need you to stand up and get out the way. It's not you. It's a girl. It's a girl. She She [48:08] might got blue sweats. You seen the movie Ghost? There's a girl with blue sweats. It's a girl with blue sweats. [48:14] Overvil is alive. It's It's gray blue. It's gray blue. [48:19] It's a gray blue. Grayish blue. Grayish blue. You know the spirit ain't got no color. You know what I'm talking about. [48:26] It's a girl. And I tell you've been going through a lot. You've been going matter of fact, you've been searching [48:32] for something. You've been searching. Let me tell you, God is telling me you've been searching for something and [48:38] it's been hard for you to find. But you know what you looking for now, right? [48:43] And you've been back and forth on whether you know or whether you don't. God is telling you the one that you [48:49] know, that's what it is. I know more than you know. You know, and then now you sitting there, male [48:54] sitting there like, I just went on a college tour. [49:01] It really is going to be the Grand Canyon University. That's what she and Mel's in there like this is. He know God [49:08] is talking to me right now. And then after that, what Mel going to do? She going to dig deep into them blue gray [49:14] sweats. You know what I'm talking about? Here's a $100. You know, that's my last $100. That's going to get me to Grand [49:20] Canyon University. And that's the type of stuff that they do. And all they doing it for is to drain your money. [49:26] I wonder if they've ever called on somebody like that before. And somebody really did not have Yeah, that happened. But then you they [49:33] gonna move on after that and be like, "Okay, I ain't get no money out." It's a It's a parlor trick. You know what? They ain't doing that. It's just a little [49:38] trick, right? But it's Filthy Lucer. That's Filthy Lucer. Let's go back. Where we at? Uh oh, we got some more [49:45] question. We got too many questions today. Phil Ed said, "You sound like coming to America." That's hilarious. Uh taxfree [49:51] filthy rug every Sunday for sure. Pledge. Uh we had a building fund and love [49:57] offering. Boy, what love offering? I ain't never heard of that one. A love. [50:03] He telling y'all to do it for the love. That's crazy. He couldn't even connect a bless blessing to y'all stuff. Shoot. [50:10] They better What? They better than the peep now. What does that mean? Better than the peep now. They have recruits [50:16] speaking in the uh speaking in their ear reading to the crowd for them. Yeah, I bet that looking up in the media. Hey, [50:22] no, that's probably that's probably the truth. The sister said now they be got the earpieces and they got a whole crew [50:28] of people that's looking people up on social media getting information about them and then just speaking into their ear. So you could tell if that's that's [50:35] nasty, but I wouldn't put it past none of these people. I really wouldn't put it past none of these people. [50:41] That's crazy. It's uh Let me see. She said, "I did hear a guest preacher call a third [50:48] offering to sew a seed of faith to the receiver 10fold." Yeah. Now, that's type of stuff they tell you. They tell you, [50:54] "Look, God is saying that if you give $10, he's going to make that a hundred." [51:00] you when you get to hearing people talk like that. Oh, it's just nasty. It's evil. That stuff is evil. Right. Keep [51:07] going. Let's see. This is uh Titus. What? We got to at least get through the book of Titus. Ain't nothing but three. What is it? Two verses. Three verses. I [51:13] mean, three chapters. Three. Yeah. Yeah. We got to at least get through. Y'all trying to question me to death. [51:19] 11. This is chapter 1 verse 11. Watch the book. It's a good one, too. Watch this. Whose m wait? For there are many unruly [51:26] and vain talkers and deceivers, especially they of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who [51:32] subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucer sake. Yeah. One of themselves, even a prophet of [51:38] their own, said that Christians are always liars, evil beasts, and slow bellies. [51:43] This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply that they may be sound in the faith, not giving heed the Jewish [51:49] fables and commandments of men that turn from the truth. Unto the pure all things are pure, but unto them that are [51:55] defiled, and unbelieving is nothing pure. But even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know [52:01] God, but in works they deny him. Abominable. He said they profess that they know God, [52:06] but in works they deny him. Being what? Abominable. That means that we run our mouth whole. [52:13] What we got? Grab uh grab uh Isaiah chapter uh what? [52:20] Uh what I want. Isaiah chapter what? 29 [52:25] 15 29ap Isaiah chapter 29. Oh my [52:31] verse what? 15 [52:37] 13 is what we want though. But nine 13. Verse 13. What we want though? You [52:44] know what I'm saying? Let me tell that's a bad girl. You know what I'm talking about? Verse 13 is what we want though. You [52:51] know what I'm saying? But we going to start at nine. That's hate. That's hate. By the way, [53:00] this is uh Isaiah chapter 29 verse 9. Y'all pay attention. This is Isaiah chapter 29:9. [53:08] Stay yourselves and wonder. He said, "Stay yourselves and wonder." What does that mean? Sit down. Be still. [53:13] Yeah. Be still and wonder. Right. Be still and and and and and be marveled or [53:19] be, you know what I'm saying? Be be shocked about what you about to hear. Keep going. Cry ye out and cry. [53:25] They are drunken, but not with wine. They stagger, but not with strong drink. He said, "The people drunk, but it ain't [53:31] because they drinking wine or they got, you know, strong alcohol." Keep going. For Yahweh has poured out upon the upon [53:37] you the spirit of deep sleep and has closed your eyes, the prophets and your rulers, the seers [53:43] has he covered. And the vision of all has become unto you as words of a book that is sealed. Right? He said the [53:49] vision of all, in other words, the understanding of of the scripture is like a book that's sealed up. In other [53:55] words, that's a book that you can't open. Right? So imagine trying to read a book, but you can't open it. Keep going. [54:01] What else is it like? which men deliver to one that has [54:07] learned saying read this I pray thee and he says I cannot force imagine having a book but you don't know [54:13] how to read it so you take it to somebody else and be like can you read this to me like let's imagine it's in a different language that you don't know [54:18] how to read right and you take it to somebody else like can you can you speak this language can you read it and he [54:23] look at it like no I don't know how to read either right that's what it's like he's saying this is what it's like right [54:30] now right people want to understand the Bible And then they be looking at it and what do they say? What is God trying to [54:37] say to me? Right? Because that's what it's like. It's like a book that you can't open or it's like it's like a book [54:44] that you can open but when you read it you don't understand it. So you give it to somebody else so they can understand it and they tell you I don't understand [54:49] it either. Right? Watch this. Keep going. [54:56] Wherefore Yahweh said, wait, sorry. I cannot, for it is sealed. And the book [55:02] is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, read this, I pray thee, and he says, I am not learned. Wherefore Yahweh said, for as much as [55:08] this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor me. He said, as much as this people draw [55:14] near to me with their mouth, what does it sound like to draw near to somebody with your mouth in the way that this is talking about? [55:20] Oh, I love God so much. Oh, praise the Lord. Praise God. Right. Let me tell you [55:27] something. God spoke to me today and he said be faithful in all that you do. You [55:32] ever hear somebody always talking about God? That's cool. He said that is drawing near with their mouth. But what [55:38] happens and with their lips do honor me, right? With their lips. Oh, God. Let me [55:44] tell you, you got to give glory to God, brother. You got to give glory to God, sister. Right? With their mouth, they [55:49] honor God. But watch this. Have removed their heart far from me. They heart though nowhere near God. [55:56] Because behind the scenes they lying, cussing, stealing, cheating on their wife, you know, getting drunk, smoking [56:04] weed, doing the most, right? And all that is tearing them down. So now in [56:11] their mind and in their in their mouth, they're close to God. They love God. Oh, [56:16] they'll do anything. You know what? I just want to wake up in the morning and give thank to God for waking me up. I [56:21] know. And then they get their butt up, brush their teeth, and go spend the rest of the day sinning. He's saying when [56:26] that is happening, your heart is far from him, but your mouth is close to him. Well, that's the same thing that we [56:33] talking about over here in Paul where Paul and Titus um is telling us that [56:38] these people profess to know God. They like, "No, I know God. Oh, no. I know the You hear people, I read the Bible [56:45] front to back lying self. Ain't nobody read no Bible front to back. Shut up." Right? I read the Bible front to back. [56:52] But in reality, they deny him through their works. In other words, the actions, the behavior, the choices that [56:58] they make, they deny the power of God. Anytime that we sin, we're denying the power of God. Anytime that somebody tell [57:05] you, "It's impossible to stop sinning." Guess what they just did? They didn't sin, but they did deny the [57:11] power of God. Right. Keep going. That's the end of the chapter. No, that's uh Isaiah. [57:18] No, go back to uh Titus. Did we end Titus? Titus one. [57:24] What verse? 16. This Titus 1 verse 16. Watch the book. [57:29] This uh Titus 2 verse one. Watch what the book say. [57:35] But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine that the aged men be [57:40] sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity and patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in [57:46] behavior as become becometh holiness. When he say age, he's talking about the older women and the older men. He's [57:52] saying he's saying when you dealing with the older women and the older men, make sure that they got patience and they [57:58] they not getting mad too early, that they wise, right? And then the women, let's talk about the women, [58:04] that they be behavior as becometh that they be in behavior as becometh of holiness, not false accusers, not given [58:11] to much wine, teachers of good things, not false accusers. They be getting it in. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? You [58:17] can't be lying on nobody. That's crazy. Keep going. False accuser. Somebody lying. Well, she was over there. It's [58:23] like gossip, right? I heard she was over there, you know, doing the most. Oh, you [58:28] No, she was over there with with sister Cheryl husband. You know what I'm saying? I ain't Hey, you know what I'm saying? It's that and another. And you [58:33] get the false accuser like I ain't did nothing with sister Cheryl. Why you lying? Right? That's a false accuser. [58:39] Keep going. That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. There's a lot of [58:44] people that nowadays it's not a lot of people teaching nobody to love their husband. It's not a lot of older women [58:52] telling teaching younger women to love a husband. Right nowadays, a lot of these [58:58] women, you know what they telling? You need to be independent, baby girl. You need to do this. No, you get your own. [59:03] Don't ever let no man, that, and other. So, and it's not that none of that is wrong, right? That is because I'mma tell [59:08] you, but you don't need to be relying on no darn man either. Right. However, right at the same time, I'm also going [59:15] to teach you you find the right man, right? And you love him, right? You love [59:20] him, you treat him right, you sacrifice yourself for him, and you demand that he do the same thing for you, right? Right [59:26] now, there's not a lot of people that are that are promoting marriage as [59:33] something that's lasting and something that's permanent. Right? A lot of people undermine marriage and they make it more [59:39] about emotion than it is about commitment. What's a commitment that you're committed to or someone that [59:46] you What's an example of something that someone's committed to other than marriage? [59:51] What you got? What you got? Work. That's a great one. Work. [59:57] Right. When you go to work, you're committed to your job. When you go to school, right? You're committed to [60:03] school. A lot of y'all been going to school. How long you been going to school? Six or seven years. [60:09] He been going to school for six years, right? For six years. He been going to school. That's a level of commitment, [60:17] right? He know I got to get up. I got to go to school now. He also know I'mma whoop his butt. So that that helps that [60:23] commitment. You know what I'm saying? Like yeah, that help it make it is like I rather do this than that. But that's [60:29] sometimes what you do. Sometimes that's what marriage is. Marriage is you might think you got all types of option but you got to roll dice. You might look at [60:35] it be like, "Man, I was out here in these streets with the hot girl summer and all that crazy other going on." You [60:41] might think, "I still got it." But guess what? Now you got to roll dice. So then you got to look at it like I rather stay [60:47] where I'm at than that. That's still that's still commitment, right? So work [60:52] is a good one, right? You go to work, you get a paycheck, you're committed it because you saying, "I need to have this [60:58] paycheck to take care of my family." Right? the same way. Marriage is that [61:03] same way except the your motivation for that commitment might be different, right? Your motivation to want to make [61:09] that commitment may be I love this person or this person I trust this person. This person takes care of me. [61:15] This person has shown me over this year that they are loyal to me and that they will die for me or they they would put [61:22] me first. They've been raised they have a good family and they've been raised to respect women or they've been raised to [61:27] respect a man and now you say, "You know what? I want to commit myself to this person. But once you make that [61:32] commitment, now it's no longer about how you feel, right? It's no longer about all these [61:38] things. And that's what older women are supposed to be teaching younger women. That's what older men are supposed to be [61:44] talk teaching younger men and women, right? They're supposed to be teaching y'all that when you make that commitment [61:51] now, it's no longer about how you feel. Your feelings might get you to make the commitment. You might say, you know, I [61:57] love him. I love him so much. I love him so much. I love her. I love her so much, bro. [62:04] Right. But then guess what happened? That's crazy. But what happens is you [62:12] look at that person, you say, "Okay, this is how I feel about you." That's crazy. This is how I feel about [62:19] you. And then now I'm going to commit to you. And once you make that commitment, [62:24] it's like signing a contract. Now, even if your feelings and you say, "You [62:30] getting on my nerves right now," that don't mean you divorce her. Right? When you when you when your [62:36] feelings start to change, instead of divorce, you just say, "All right, well, let's figure it out. Let's talk through [62:41] it. I'm here with you." And you'll see when two people are in a relationship and they feel that from one one another, [62:47] they know that from one another that I'm not just on thin ice in anything I do, you going to leave me, right? You going [62:53] to want to divorce me. When two people have that feeling, then it makes the relationship healthy. A lot of these [62:58] relationships is not healthy because they can sense from each other, you not in this for the long haul. You in this [63:03] until you feel different. You in this until you get mad. You in this until I disappoint you, right? And when that [63:10] happen, it makes you uncomfortable. So guess what? Everybody got a backup man. You know what I'm talking [63:17] about? A backup. Oh my singing mail. Goodness gracious. All [63:25] right, let's go. What else we got? [63:33] Obedient to their own Wait, sorry. That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love [63:39] their children, to be discreet, chasteed, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the [63:45] word of God be not blasphemed. That's right. Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded in all things showing [63:51] thyself a pattern of good works and doctrine showing unccorruptness, gravity and sincerity. Sound speech that cannot [63:58] be condemned that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed having no evil thing to say of you. [64:03] Right? So he said look sound speech that can't be what? That cannot be condemned. [64:09] Meaning what? Don't be cursing talking crazy. No sound speech that cannot be condemned [64:15] meaning can't nobody call it wrong. Yeah. And then say the next part. Watch this. [64:21] That he that is of a contrary part may be ashamed having no evil thing to say of you. In other words, this is what this let me [64:28] explain to you what he just said. He says sound speech. In other words, my words are so appropriate that anybody [64:36] who tries to stand against me and argue against me, they don't have any good points to say. They can't even they [64:43] can't even say nothing evil about what I'm saying. They can't say no he wrong because of this that and the other. [64:48] That's how that's how clear and precise my words are. Right? Yahosua told us the same thing. He used a word called gains [64:55] sayay. That's a old English word that just means argue against or make a point against. So our we have to be so clean [65:03] and so precise about the things we say that can't nobody argue against what we say. Can't nobody argue against what I [65:08] be saying? I be saying stuff these people be trying to you can't argue against this stuff I be talking about. You know why? Is it because I'm so [65:15] smart? No, it's because I'm just telling you what the books say. [65:21] I am a little smart now. Don't get Don't be saying so too quick. No, that ain't the reason. Don't be A lot of y'all [65:26] shaking your head a little too quick. You know what I'm saying? Take your time now. I am a little smart. But that's not the reason. Y'all right. That's not the [65:32] reason. The reason is because, you know what I'm saying? The book say what it say. Who going to argue against the book? It say it right there. If I Eli, [65:39] you believe a book? Okay. Okay. So, if Eli believe a book and I'm telling Eli this what the book say and he want to [65:45] disagree with me, what position that put him in. Now you got to now you got to say I [65:51] don't believe the book. And if you saying I don't believe the book, guess who wins? [65:57] You just told me you believe the book. Now I show you what the book says. All of a sudden you don't believe the book. Oh, okay. For sure. I'm out of here. [66:03] For real. Right. Keep going. Let's see. What verse is that? Eight. [66:08] Yeah. Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters and to please them well in all things, not answering [66:14] again, not pllo plloining but showing all good [66:20] fidelity that they may adorn the doctrine of God our savior in all things for the grace of God that brings [66:26] salvation. He said the what? The grace of God that brings salvation. He said what now? [66:31] Grace of God that brings salvation. It's important that we understand what we talking about. He's about to give us [66:37] a definition. Right? Anybody who got their physical Bible, highlight this. This is a this is [66:43] a definition. A lot of times it's a lot of stuff that's talked about in the Bible and we [66:49] don't know what these words is talking about. We just be look faith. Yeah. Okay. Faith. Grace. Oh yeah. Like grace. [66:55] Okay. That's good. He's about to tell us about grace. But he's not talking about any grace. He's talking about the grace [67:02] of God that brings salvation. Right? You can get a lot of grace. You at my job, [67:09] we we have grace accounts. You know what that means? Yeah. That means that the month that you use [67:16] your credit card, you don't have to pay interest for that first month that you use your credit card. That's a grace [67:23] period. Right now, the next month we coming after that, but you know what I'm talking about. Next month, give me [67:29] therilla. You know, they don't even know what Skrilla is. Give me the Skrilla. You know what I'm [67:34] saying? What y'all call money now? Well, that's old. [67:40] That's boring. Y'all got all these new words. Actually, bag. Actually, [67:46] bag. The bag. The bag. That's the bag is all that stuff's old. Yeah. Bag. Bag. We'll take bag. You know [67:52] what I'm saying? You better give me that bag. You know what I'm talking about? I want the baggie. You know what I'm [67:58] saying? Can I call it baggy? I can't call it baggy. No. All right. It's all right. I'mma get to [68:04] the bag. You know what I'm talking about? The Skrilonians. You know what I'm [68:09] talking about? You know what I mean? But what were we talking about? I lost myself now. [68:15] The grace of God that brings salvation. It's not talking about a grace period on your your account, right? It's not [68:22] talking about a graceful ice skater or a graceful runner in sports. It's talking [68:27] specifically about the grace that will bring you salvation. Hear what is [68:33] described as that grace. For the grace of God that brings [68:39] salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness in worldly lust, we should live soberly, [68:46] righteously, and godly in this present world. So if anybody is talking to you about the grace of God and it's not [68:52] teaching you to deny ungodliness and to live soberly and righteously in this [68:59] present world, we not talking about the next life. We not talking about after the resurrection. We not talking about [69:04] dying and go to heaven. All that stuff that the people we run their mouth about. That's not the grace of God that brings salvation. But somebody say it's [69:11] not by it's not by works, brother. It's by grace through faith. The grace is [69:17] this. When next time they tell you it's by grace through faith, tell me what grace [69:22] teaching me teaches us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we should live soberly, [69:29] righteously, and godly in this present world. Keep going. Looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of the great God and [69:35] our Savior Yahosua, who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify unto himself a [69:42] peculiar people zealous of good works. These things speak and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise [69:49] thee. Let's finish it off. [69:56] Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good [70:02] work, be evil of no man, and be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men. Mhm. [70:07] For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving diverse lust and pleasures, living in [70:14] the malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that, the kindness and love of God our Savior [70:20] toward men appeared. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us by [70:26] the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, which he shed on us abundantly through the Yahosua, the [70:32] Messiah, our Savior, that being justified by his grace, we should be made hes according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, [70:40] and these things I will, that you affirm constantly, that they which have [70:45] believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto man. But avoid [70:51] foolish questions and genealologies and contentions and strivings about the law, for they are unprofitable in vain. A man [70:57] that is a heretic after the first and second admonition reject. All right? So in other words, a man that is in a [71:04] different he's in a denomination. When they say heretic, it's talking about somebody who's in a denomination, right? [71:10] They they believe something else. They on a you know what I'm saying? They call theirself, they say they love God. They say they believe God, but they believe [71:16] something different. He's saying after the the the how many the second or third admonish reject [71:24] knowing that he that is such is subverted and sent it being convict. No no no go go go back uh one verse. [71:29] A man that isn't a heretic after the first and second admonition reject. He said after the first and second right [71:36] so after you didn't you didn't discuss with him one time and then went over with him argue with him the second time [71:42] he come back to you that third time. He's saying yeah we good we good. We don't need to keep going over the same [71:48] thing because you don't believe what I believe, right? You believe something different. And that's okay. If you want [71:53] to believe that, do it over there. We didn't tried to discuss it one time. We tried to discuss it two times. After [71:58] that, reject them. He's saying this to a leader of a congregation because as a leader of a congregation, I need to be [72:05] able to teach my I can't spend all day arguing with you, right? If you believe what you believe, then I'm here to [72:11] teach. If you're not here to learn, then go do something else. Right? Keep going. [72:17] Knowing that he that is such is subverted and sinnth being condemned of himself. When I shall send Artem Artemis unto [72:24] thee, or Tishius, be diligent to come unto me in Nicopoulos, for I have [72:30] determined there to winter. Bring Zenus the lawyer and Apollos on their journey [72:35] diligently that nothing be wanting unto them. Right? So this is Paul. He writing, this is kind, you know, he writing a letter. [72:40] Now he just kind of saying the personal stuff. So he got the teaching at the beginning of it. Now he like, "Hey yo, hey, send old boy." Now I'm saying that, [72:47] you know what I'm saying? He was helpful. He was helpful to me out here because remember Paul is stuck up in Rome right now. So he way out in Rome. [72:53] He he writing to a man named Titus that's in a different city. And so he looking like, "Yeah, now I'mma send some people to you." You know what I'm [72:59] saying? But hey, when you talk to old boy, tell him to come my way. You know what I'm saying? That's my man. He looking out for me over there. I need [73:04] some company. Remember he locked up. Paul locked up. So he like in prison. And so he's writing to people to come [73:10] visit him and come help take care of him and all that good stuff. Keep going. and let ours also learn to maintain their [73:16] works for necess necessary uses that they be not unfruitful. All that are [73:21] with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen. [73:26] All right. Any questions? Any questions on the book of Titus, [73:33] but you looking like you trying to think of one. Me? Now, I know you ain't got no darn What [73:38] you talking about? Too quick to say that. You know what I'm saying? Oh, you ain't got no darn questions. Hard sleep. [73:44] He has a hard sleep. He always sleep for real though. Sleep talking. [73:50] No questions. [Music] [73:59] All right, let's pray out. All right.
