Summary
What does it mean that Yahushua is the image of the invisible God? In this Sabbath lesson from Colossians 1, Deuteronomy 4 and John 1 and 14, we learn to walk worthy of the Master, that Israel heard a voice but saw no similitude at Horeb, and that the Word made flesh is the image of the invisible God, so whoever has seen Him has seen the Father. Through John 3, Deuteronomy 30 and 27, Leviticus 18 and John 5, you’ll see the difference between being born again and simply coming back to life, how the law sets life and death before us, and how Yahushua, who never sinned, earned life and reconciles all who repent and obey Him. Finally, Galatians 5, Colossians 2 and 3, Deuteronomy 14 and Genesis 9 warn against vain deceit and the traditions of men, and show which sins bring the wrath of God on the children of disobedience.
