Summary
Is the Messiah divided? In this Sabbath lesson opening 1 Corinthians 1, Paul begs the saints at Corinth to speak the same thing with no divisions, being of the same mind and judgment rather than saying I am of Paul or of Apollos, and John 6 shows that God is faithful who calls us, for no man comes to Yahushua unless the Father draws him. Through Exodus 19 and 20 and Judges 7, you’ll see why the Hebrews require a sign and the Greeks seek wisdom, yet God chose the foolish and weak things, bringing Gideon’s army down to 300 so that no flesh should glory in his presence. Finally, 1 Corinthians 2 through 4, with Deuteronomy 29, Psalm 78 and Jeremiah 18, teach that the secret things belong to Yahuah, that every man’s work on the foundation will be tried by fire, and that we must not think of men above that which is written.
