From Scripture. This answer is plainly backed by the text of Scripture.
The sins below are named by the Messiah or His apostles as sins that make a person unclean or keep them out of the Kingdom of God. This matches our Law of Moses, which says a Prophet would come, and Moses commanded that we must obey that Prophet’s words (Deuteronomy 18). If we do not meet the requirements the Messiah set, we are not keeping the Law of Moses.
Many people have been taught that it is impossible to turn away from all sin, or that everything you do could be a sin. This lie from Satan leads people to excuse their sin. They think, “God would not ask me to do something impossible. He just wants me to try my best,” whatever that means to them. But the Word is clear, not based on feelings. Even our thoughts and feelings are judged by God. The behaviors below are signs that a person has not given themselves to God.
The main passages are Mark 7:20-23, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:3-6, and Revelation 22:15.
