Kody’s sister, Kelsey Ingham, confirms on her ask page that Kody alerted the family that he intended to spend the night with Brittany. We also know that despite Kody’s intentions he called his mother to pick him up at 2:00am in the morning for a ride home.
What could have occurred that night that would lead Kody to call his mother to pick him up in the early morning after telling her earlier that he would spend the night with Brittany? A confrontation must have occurred. One of our sources who is close to Kody’s stepmother said that after receiving Kody’s call Ms. Johnson called him back. However, she did not reach him.
The next morning Kody’s body was found hanging from a tree approximately 150 ft. from the house of girlfriend, Brittany Capps. Both the sheriff and girlfriend, Brittany Capps, claim that she was asleep when the incident took place. The sheriff contends that Kody hung himself because he was depressed over a break up between himself and Brittany Capps. How is it that the relationship could have taken such a drastic turn, when only a few hours before, the reconciled couple can be seen sitting together at the rodeo, smiling and posing for pictures which Kody posted on Instagram.

Although police said they did not suspect foul play in the death, pressure is mounting from the Kenyan Community in New Jersey who want full investigations carried out, saying the manner in which Kilibwa died was suspect.
“His hands were bound with a rope. That’s not how people hang themselves. We must know the truth” said Mr Nelson Mogesha, a long time friend of the deceased.
It has also emerged that a day before he died, Kilibwa had been held at a New Jersey police station after being found walking the city streets in what his friend described as “a confused state of mind”.
And, according to Mr Mogesha, the deceased had just been relieved of his job in a city mall and this weighed heavily on him. Police at the Livingstone Police station, where Kilibwa was held, are looking for a woman, whom they say is the acquaintance who came for him.

“We are all sympathetic to the family,” Sughrue said. “The detectives really did do a lot of work in this case, and there simply was nothing that pointed to anything but suicide in the end.”
But Austin’s father cannot understand why his son would run away from attackers, call him in the middle of the night, walk 3 miles into an unfamiliar neighborhood and hang himself on a skinny tree with its branches close together, first removing most of his clothing?
The circumstances don’t sit right with neighbors in Fred Fletcher park, either. No matter what scenario you imagine, it seems far-fetched, ludacris, unbelievable, and too hard to swallow.
