Summary
Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? In this Sabbath lesson from Matthew 19, Genesis 3 and Deuteronomy 24, we see how the Pharisees, like the serpent, stretched Yahuah’s word, and how Yahushua answered that the two shall be one flesh. Through Mark 7 and the rich young man, you’ll learn that Yahushua’s answer for entering the kingdom was to keep the commandments and turn from what defiles the heart. Finally, Matthew 20 teaches through the laborers in the vineyard that the last shall be first, and that whoever would be great must be a servant, as the son of man came to give his life a ransom for many.
