Saying, Ye Must Be Circumcised, and Keep the Law: To Whom We Gave No Such Commandment

freely as a gift to all who obey him we [00:28] understand that if you do not obey him and is made manifest or made obvious that you do not believe in this state [00:33] you should expect no good thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether it be a gift of tongues a gift of Prophecy or any Supernatural [00:40] experience that you may have it can and it will be used against you in the day of judgment with that said Peace to the [00:47] saints that are in the room to the saints that couldn't make it to the Saints watching in on the camera to the Saints in the chat saints the circumcision that was walking around and we talked about how those are the folks that believe that [02:11] everybody who believe in yahushua to be saved also has to be circumcised and [02:18] they got to keep the law right so we talked a little bit about that um uh but we can see that you know what I'm saying [02:25] Paul start getting chased out of all these towns he was going to remember he going to all these different towns we [02:30] had the map up he had traveling all these different places but he kept getting chased out of them things because they was trying to kill him so [02:36] you remember they stoned him and then They Carried him out and he went back down to Jerusalem so uh that's where we [02:42] left off we gonna kind of we gonna kind of pick up from there uh where you know what I'm saying he he he he closer to [02:48] Jerusalem at this point um let's pick up in Acts chapter 15 verse1 what you [02:54] got you was going to say Acts chapter 15 huh okay oh please down from Judah taught the Brethren and said except ye be circumcised after the [03:36] manner of Moses ye cannot be saved when all right so certain Brethren they came [03:41] from Judah so watch uh go uh jump back this is Acts chapter 14 maybe give me [03:47] verse what's the last verse uh [03:53] 28 you said 40 give me give me verse 30 no 28 oh 28 okay give me uh give me give [04:01] me verse uh 20 this is acts 14:20 watch the book [04:08] say how be it as the disciples stood round about him he rose up and came into the City and the next day he departed [04:15] with Barnabas to Derby and when they had preached the gospel to that City and had taught many they returned again to lisra [04:21] into Iconium into Antioch confirming the souls of the disciples and exhorting them to continue in the faith in that we [04:29] must through much much tribulation entered the kingdom of God they had ordained them Elders in every [04:35] congregation and had prayed with fasting they commended them to the Lord on whom [04:40] they believed and after they had passed through pidia they came to pamilia and [04:48] when they had preached the word in perga they went down to [04:53] aaliah and then sailed to Antioch from whence they had been recommended to the [04:59] grace of God for the work which they fulfilled and when they right so now [05:04] they went down to Antioch let me put the chapter 15 starts off watch this we listen to the [07:03] book and certain men which came down from Judah taught the Brethren and said [07:08] except so they came down from Judah right so when we we kind of we think of our map as North and South so we would [07:15] usually think of like going south as coming down but don't think of it like that think of it as they're on a [07:21] mountain and they're saying they're going down the mountain and going to another place so now Jerusalem is on a [07:28] mountain right right so they saying they came down from Judah they traveling all [07:34] the way and then they going to Antioch right so they came from here to Antioch [07:40] right but they're from Jerusalem and what do we do in Jerusalem we keep the law you know what [07:46] I'm saying that's what our people do we do what Moses said why because we prefer to no that's [07:53] just all we know that's the law of the land that's like somebody asking you why do you why do you like follow the laws [08:00] in America you know what I'm saying like why do you do what the police say you supposed to do what the judge say you [08:06] supposed to do you know what I'm saying no it ain't do it what you mean right you keep the laws because that's the law of the land well same thing for us that's what we [08:22] came up that's our culture and that's our God right we the only we the only nation in all the world where the most [08:29] high God carved out law specifically for our nation and gave it to us there's no [08:35] other people in the world that can make that claim from the most high God when they make that claim they making up they [08:41] who they God is talking about some darn Cyrus some Osiris you know what I'm saying Horus you know I'm talking about [08:48] talking about some darn Jupiter you know what I'm saying some darn Mars you know all these people they make up when they [08:53] say it they Gods is made up when we say it we got the one true Living God that gave us laws what you mean we not going [09:00] to keep them right that's our mindset so when we come in from Judah we got [09:06] brothers that come from Judah and they visiting Antioch and that's where Paul and Barnabas is and Paul and Barnabas [09:13] just got done teaching all these people over here in many of these cities they just got done teaching all these people [09:19] about the law so they sell over here I mean not about the law about the gospel you know what I'm saying so then they [09:25] sell over here and now you got people from Judah who keep the law going over there too but they also believe in yahua [09:32] and let's see what the conversation ends up being it's the same conversation that many of our Brethren are having today [09:39] watch what the book say and certain men which came down from [09:44] Judah taught the Brethren and said except you be circumcised after the manner of Moses you cannot be saved [09:51] right so that's a Hebrew when it say the circumcision think Hebrew [09:57] Israelite right just to kind of put it in today's terms think Hebrew Israelite [10:02] CU that's the position they take sit up boy right that's the position they take right they said except you be [10:10] circumcised what happened after the manner of Moses you [10:16] cannot be saved right there is no way to have salvations unless you are [10:22] circumcised keep going watch this when therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension in disput with [10:29] them they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain other of them to go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and [10:37] and Elders about the qu about this question right so it's it what it was basically saying is that they they had a [10:44] disagreement and it turned into an argument right so in the argument they [10:49] you know what I'm saying they it's one side saying no man it's not required for them to be circumcised what are you [10:54] talking about these is Gentiles they not of our people leave these people alone they not even living in the land right [11:01] then on the other side they looking like what are you talking about Moses gave us a law Moses told us there is one law [11:07] even for the Gentile as for us we can't make a different rule for them right [11:13] then on the other side Paul in there like man what you mean no we not making a different rule everybody got to come [11:19] in by yahushua and yahushua didn't require that of them or us we just keep it because that's where we come from [11:26] they looking like man you sound like a crazy person you trying to say yashua came and he took away the law you try to [11:31] say the law done away with Paul like no man I ain't never said so this how you can kind of Imagine they back and forth [11:36] going right but one side is saying they are required to be circumcised the other [11:42] side is saying they are that's not a requirement that's not a part of what's required for them to be saved right so [11:49] then after a while they looking like okay well then yahua left Peter in [11:54] charge let's go talk to them let's go talk to Peter James and John since you know so much right so then they said [12:02] okay fine and then they end up traveling from here in Antioch and now they going [12:08] back down to Jerusalem but now Paul is with him and Paul is about to go see about what Peter James and John feel [12:15] about this situation because they are the ones that run the congregation they the ones that lead all of yahweh's con [12:23] excuse me yahweh's congregation for yahushua right so this is uh this is uh [12:29] where we leave all it's Acts chapter 15 verse what what 2 three three now this [12:35] is Acts chapter 15 verse3 watch the book say and being brought on their way by the congregation they passed through [12:41] fenus in Samaria declaring the conversation of the Gentiles and they call right so they pass through here [12:48] right so this is Fenix year and this is Samaria right here right so they pass [12:53] through both of these areas but still a lot of Gentiles in these areas it's a good mix when you come here Hebrews [12:59] Gentiles but still a lot of Gentiles in these areas so they passing through but they they seeing more and more Hebrews [13:05] the closer they get to Jerusalem so as they get closer to the Hebrew they looking like bro man let me elders and they declared all things that God had done with them but there rose up [13:44] certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed Saying that it was needful to circumcise them and to [13:50] command them to keep the law of Moses right so now the Pharisees get involved [13:55] but these are not when we you know what I'm saying we've been taught by the Christians the CHR try to make us believe all Pharisees is evil right but [14:03] we know that's not the case because of who Nicodemus right Nicodemus and who else [14:09] uh gel and um I think uh what's my man name was uh was Joseph uh Pharisee the [14:16] one that paid the one that buried yua that's right Joseph who buried yahua the one that paid all that stuff he was a [14:22] farise also right so not all Pharisees was like evil like the Christians were [14:28] try to try to make of them was really evil in that sense all of them was misguided and had it I mean all of us is [14:34] evil in in God's eyes right because we we disobey his word but in the sense of like being consciously evil in their own [14:40] brain uh you know many of them was wasn't that type of evil they all just thought that they stood on what they [14:46] stood on they believe what they believe and they couldn't be convinced otherwise right and that leads people to erors are [14:51] hard get up you know what I'm saying that leads people to error right any of us can fall into that same error we [14:57] stand on what we stand on we believe what we we believe you got so much faith that you can't even read the Bible you [15:02] can't see what the book you got so much faith in an idea that you can't even see what the Bible said right we gotta be we [15:08] gota like if one one thing got to move us it got to be the [15:14] word right when we read the word it has to move us we have to be able to look at [15:20] the word when we see something that seems like it contradicts the way we think we got to move it we got to look [15:26] at that and be like okay even if I don't know what the real answer is I know this [15:32] book is saying X right I know it's telling me that I need to turn from sin when I see the book say inappropriate [15:39] talk it's telling me to stop cussing it's telling me to control my words right that got to be our mindset we got [15:45] to make sure that when we look at the book and it tell us something that it moves us [15:52] right uh it's like a little bit of a mix she said am I hiccuping or burping it's a little bit of mix of both when I get [15:57] to eating too fast drinking too fast you know what I'm saying what they call that is it indigestion you know what I'm [16:03] saying a little bit of indigestion you know what I'm saying it's a little bit of both but um what happened is we have to [16:11] make sure that when we read the Scripture it moves us right it tilts us one way or the other even if it tilts us [16:17] back and forth that's the book chiseling out all the stuff that's not like God in us right it's too it's it's too hard for [16:25] us that we looking like okay we and our minds understand what we talking about [16:32] but we be wrong and so we be so focused on not making making sure nobody move us [16:38] from what we understand that not even the scripture can move us that means that not even the spirit of God can move [16:43] us right we got to make sure that when the when when we look at the book that we move we are movable that we are [16:50] foldable that we back down that we break based off of what the book say right it [16:56] got to penetrate our heart and we make our heart so hard hard that the book can't penetrate it then there ain't [17:01] nothing that the most high God going to do for us from there right ain't nothing the most high God going to do keep [17:08] going this is the Pharisees right these are the Pharisees that believed right so [17:13] these are Pharisees that know that yahushua is the Messiah and they do what [17:19] yahua says right they obey yahushua's Commandments but watch this that it was [17:24] needful to circumcise them and command them to keep the law of Moses and the Apostles and Elders came together for [17:30] the consider of this matter and when there had been much disputing Peter rose up and said unto them men and Brethren [17:36] you know how that a good while ago God made Choice Among Us that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the [17:43] gospel and believe right so now Peter Peter stood up right and when Peter got [17:49] up he looking like yo yo yo so everybody's arguing right the Pharisees came in was like Noah they got to be [17:54] circumcised and they got to keep the law of Moses that's NE that's a requirement the pH he told him like what you talking [17:59] about that's our law you know what I'm saying you can't just go teach this stuff to no Gentiles and then they just [18:05] keep doing the same thing they've been doing that's crazy he looking like no they got to be circumcised and they got [18:11] to keep the law there's no other way around that's how he thinking right he looking like man that there's no other [18:17] way around it so then the argument breaks out again like no they don't got to be circumcised this that and other [18:22] this that other right so then Peter getting he's like hold on hold on on men and Brethren right Peter got to stand up [18:28] cuz you remember you have to remember that the whole congregation was left to Peter yahua out his own mouth in front [18:35] of the the other disciples on two occasions said Peter feed my y'all right [19:21] that I went down to them Gentiles and the spirit fell on them let's read it watch this [19:29] and God which knoweth the hearts bear them witness giving them the Holy Spirit even as he did unto us and put no [19:35] difference between us and Them purifying their hearts by faith now therefore why temp ye God to put a yoke upon the neck [19:42] of the disciples which neither our fathers nor were able to Bear right so [19:47] now he called it a yoke he talking about making them get circumcised and keep the law is akin to a yoke on their neck that [19:56] neither our fathers the Hebrews or them are able to [20:01] Bear right they wasn't able to Bear it nor would the fathers able to bear so [20:08] then he's calling it a yoke on their neck and he's saying why are we doing that right so I want EV my Hebrew [20:16] Israelites that might be watching in y'all have to take note of this right [20:22] what side are we on this is Peter and if we believe this right yahua gave him the [20:28] whole congregation so if we believe that right then that means that we got to put [20:34] oursel in the mindset to say well if we believe it's required to get into the [20:40] kingdom to keep the law then what is Peter talking about right now where he's calling the law a yoke [20:48] that none of us was able to Bear right now this is where the [20:53] Christians get it from the talking about the argument itself right or is he talking about the [23:04] circumcision so let's it's good that we read in context right because the context of what they're saying is hey [23:11] Pharisee popped up and said they got to be circumcised and keep the law that's what caused the argument so he not [23:16] talking about don't put this argument on the Gentiles right but let's keep reading and let's see if the if the rest [23:22] of the text I want y'all to think of that I want y'all to think about both sides of it because this was a valid question right is it the argument or is [23:29] is is Peter talking about the argument as a yoke or is Peter talking about the circumcision and keeping the law as a [23:36] yoke right so let's read more in context and see which one make more sense keep going now therefore why temp ye God to [23:43] put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to Bear but we believe that [23:50] through the grace of our Lord yahu the Messiah we shall be saved even as they then all right so remember the [23:56] conversation was to be saved you got to have the circumcision and you got to keep the law of Moses he said we believe [24:03] through the grace of our our uh Messiah that we gonna be saved but let's see keep [24:09] going then all the multitude kept silence and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul declaring that Miracles and [24:17] wonders declaring What miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them and after now why did [24:23] why did they have to start declaring those wonders [24:28] right because Peter is telling them y'all remember when I told y'all when [24:33] the Gentiles the spirit fell on them right he had to tell them that story so now they looking like all right well [24:40] what happened to the Gentiles with y'all you know what I'm saying like we we heard about what happened with Peter and the people witnessed it what about y'all [24:47] you know what I'm saying when y'all preaching to the Gentiles the spirit fell on them so then Paul and Barnabas had to start telling them like yeah I'm [24:52] telling you this that and the other over here and when we is in this town the whole city got the spirit and when we is in this town this happened and this and [24:59] they was prophesying just like one of our people so they had to kind of retell and tell them like no this is real this [25:06] is the real deal right because we remember what happened with Peter in Acts 10 right remember Peter had the [25:12] vision and the vision told him I mean the most high God told him in the vision he said you know what I'm saying don't call nothing common that I call clean [25:19] remember he told it was the animals came down on the sheet on four corners of the sheet and he said go slay and eat Peter [25:25] was looking like no no no no no no you know what I'm saying won't be me eating those is unclean he said man don't call [25:31] nothing common that I made clean then after that you know what I'm saying three Gentiles popped up to him and he [25:37] walked him down you know what say like yeah no we got somebody for you to meet and Peter went on doubting nothing [25:42] because the book say don't doubt nothing so he went on doubting nothing and he went on he ended up preaching to these [25:47] Gentiles and he told him before he started y'all remember what he said he said it ain't even lawful for me to be [25:53] here you know what I'm saying according to our law it ain't even lawful for me to be here talking to y'all you know [26:00] what I'mma do it I had this vision and he ended up preaching to him and then the spirit fell on him right and then he [26:06] remember he told he talked to the other Hebrew he like look you know what I'm their peace right in other [27:11] words after Paul and Barnabas stopped talking and stop explaining so first people was arguing pandemonium Pharisees [27:19] on one side they got to be circumcised remembering what the things are I ain't been [93:16] flipping through the book lately I've been on this darn computer and on my phone find this cheating you know what I'm saying I be scrolling through the [93:22] computer so it's easy when you do that you flip through that book though you know what I'm saying it's a different way to interact with your memory right [93:28] you know I'm saying you start remembering like what section of the page is on you start to kind of you know what I'm saying you can you can kind of [93:35] visualize the whole chapter all in one view so you can know the long chapters versus the short chapters and all that [93:40] kind of help you remember oh no it's in that chapter and it's about halfway down know that's a sure it's probably only [93:47] about 12 verses in that chapter so you can kind of remember where everything is remember what verse you looking for you [93:52] get to reading on these computers and reading on the um on the phone you lose that because you see you only see a [93:58] small piece of that chapter at a time you don't see the whole view you know what I'm saying you don't get an idea what the next page is so your memory [94:04] can't retain it yeah I encourage all y'all read out of the actual [94:10] books and get you one book and stick to that one book you know what I'm saying because it'll help you it'll help you [94:16] it'll help you remember where things are if that's if that's a goal for you right it ain't required I ain't telling you [94:21] nothing that's required I ain't commanding nothing of you from like it's come from yah you know I'm saying but you know what I'm saying if that's a [94:26] goal for you to have a better memory of where you can find the specific words in the book you know what I'm saying and uh [94:32] that's that's the way you do it you get your an actual book read through it and your brain you may not notice it but [94:38] what your brain is doing is kind of taking pictures of of each time that you're reading it and so you start to [94:43] associate all that subconsciously you don't even realize you're doing it but you start to associate all that stuff [94:49] get to reading
