that you do not believe in this state you should expect [01:27] no good thing from the most high however anything that you do give whether it be a gift of tongues a gift of Prophecy or [01:33] any Supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against you in the day of judgment but that said [01:40] Peace to the saints that are in the room to the saints that couldn't make talked a little bit about Acts [02:00] chapter 10 um and Acts chapter n um and [02:06] Acts chapter 9 if you remember that was talking about we got introduced to to or [02:11] not introduced but Paul ended up being converted remember when Paul you I'm saying he was persecuting all of the [02:17] people with all of the disciples and then uh uh uh right you know I'm saying [02:23] bright light came down it blinded him yahua spoke to him directly right that's [02:29] something you have to tring kind of take note of right it's like you you remember you had Cornelius in chapter 10 right [02:36] Peter Peter end up going to Cornelius but before that Cornelius he he was a [02:42] gentile and an angel came and spoke to him and if you go back to even that before that in chapter 8 you remember [02:49] the Ethiopian unic he riding around reading the book of Isaiah and the spirit had to go tell philli to come [02:56] talk to him right so you'll see that the most high God and even yahua is not [03:03] dealing with people directly but Paul he did right Paul yahua spoke directly to [03:11] Paul but even when yahua spoke to him directly he was like yo I'm yahua he [03:16] still told him go to Damascus is somebody who will tell you what you need to do next right so even though the most [03:24] high God is not speaking to these people directly until you know what I'm saying until like they got the Holy Spirit he [03:31] spoke to Paul directly before he got the Holy Spirit then he told him go see go to uh ananas so you remember ananas he [03:38] prayed ananas wasn't with it at first y'all remember ananas was sitting there he is looking like uh I don't know if [03:44] you know who Paul is but uh he been raising a lot of Heck on us you know what I'm saying it boy been putting us [03:50] you know what I'm saying he been putting us through it you sure y she was like no man go ahead and take care of it know [03:56] what I'm saying go ahead and take care of it so he prayed for him and it something like scales that fell from uh [04:01] Paul's eyes and Paul was able to see and then it said it said you know what I'm saying he chilled for a couple days and [04:07] the book say straight away he went and he start preaching the gospel right that's something to Marvel at because we [04:12] ain't seen that before we ain't seen nobody who didn't know nothing about the gospel didn't believe it all they see is [04:18] a vision from yahushua and after that they're able to preach they got enough information where they can preach the [04:24] gospel from the scriptures right that's special and we going to learn later on [04:29] why Paul was able to you know why he was able to do that right and then again in [04:34] chapter 10 you remember Peter saw a vision and in that Vision he saw uh he [04:40] saw uh animals you know what I'm saying he started to see all these animals and then he is and the most high God said go [04:46] ahead and kill and eat and so Peter was looking at it like no I ain't never you know I ain't never gonna eat nothing nothing clean that's crazy talk you know [04:54] what I'm saying that's crazy ain't me you know that's crazy though I ain't eating nothing nothing clean and so um [05:00] and so uh you know what I'm saying after that he was introduced to Cornelius followed the three men he went to go [05:06] preach to the Gentiles and the Holy Spirit fell on the Gentiles before they was baptized that was the first time [05:12] that happened and the most high God gave that as a sign to show that the Gentiles was accepted remember we always had [05:19] Gentiles around right but it's different the Gentiles that we had around and the Gentiles that had become disciples up to [05:25] this point they had they had converted to live with our nation and live under [05:30] the LA laws of our nation because remember our book our scripture Our our law tells us that it' be one law right [05:39] for the Foreigner and for the uh Israelite right is one law so for us for [05:45] us for you to join the gospel you got to keep the law you got to be circumcised you got to keep the law right that's [05:52] just how naturally that's how we would have thought about it so that's the same way Peter was walking around with yahua [05:58] all this time and that still was his thinking right y the most high God had [06:03] to show him this vision and kind of let him know like no when I call something [06:09] clean don't you call it common right and so that kind of that kind of clued Peter [06:14] in to let him know like okay the Gentiles accept it even before he keep the law even before he converts to being [06:21] one of our nation right before he be he becomes a convert of somebody from Judah he's still accepted and so that was very [06:28] important the time of it so as we continue to read we going to see why that was so important that yah had to [06:35] show Peter that and show Peter that first right so for right now let's go ahead and pick up where we left off this [06:41] is acts 11 verse uh one acts chap 11 verse one let's see [06:47] what the book say and the apostles and Brethren that [06:53] were in Judah heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God right [06:58] so the and the Brethren that were in Judah they heard that the Gentiles also [07:04] received the word of God keep going and when Peter was come up to Jerusalem they that were of the [07:10] circumcision contended with him right so it says they that were of the circumcision what is it talking about [07:17] when it says of the circumcision the ones that keep the law [07:22] he's talking of so everybody was of the circumcision right so the writer is is [07:30] is is singling them out as they there they they that are of the circumcision [07:35] he's singling them out right there because at the time that he's writing it is they're a distinct group at that [07:41] point but when when this what he's describing at the time that it was [07:46] actually happening everybody was a circumcision right everybody had the [07:52] mindset that you have to keep the law and be circumcised and they didn't just [07:58] pull that out of nowhere that's what our law says that's what our culture says that's what we've been operating by our [08:04] entire history so it wasn't like that's just it's like there's no reason to think anything different because nothing [08:11] has been introduced yahua never came and said hey everybody stop keeping the [08:16] law right it's not like that's what that's the yahushua's message nobody had [08:22] any impression that that you know what I'm saying like the the normal impression was you have to be [08:27] circumcised and you got to keep the law that's just law that's just how it goes you know what I'm saying it was nothing else to think so the people who held [08:36] that thought process are called the circumcision since since Peter just [08:42] baptized and made Gentiles uh disciples and these Gentiles [08:47] are distinct in that they didn't keep the law right that's what made them separate they weren't of the nation of [08:54] Judah right remember we were talking about Gentiles in chapter uh [09:00] six right in chapter six there was an argument between the Hebrews and the [09:05] Greeks those were Gentiles those were converts it's called prosites when we read it in the book those were converts [09:12] those are also Gentiles those are not an issue the only ones that's an issue is the ones that don't keep the law that's [09:19] not under our law not under uh Israel not under Juda right at that point when [09:25] we look at him we looking like oh no you a gentile Gentile you know what I'm saying like no we can't mess with you we [09:31] can't even eat with you you know what I'm saying we not even supposed to be sharing food with you right that's kind [09:36] of how we look at it so that's important to understand who the circumcision is [09:41] right the circumcision are a group of Believers right so this is don't think [09:46] of the circumcision just being regular Pharisees or or regular people of Judah no no no these are people who are [09:53] disciples they believe that yahua died on the cross for our sins they believe [09:59] that you have to believe in yahushua to walk into the kingdom they believe that that is their understanding but they [10:05] also believe that listen you also got to be circumcised and you got to keep the law right so then the group was called [10:13] the circumcision keep going watch this saying you went into you went into [10:20] men uncircumcised and did eat with them but Peter rehearsed the matter from the [10:25] beginning and expounded on it by order unto them saying I was in the city of Jaa praying and in the trance I saw a [10:31] vision mhm a certain vessel descended and as it had been a great sheet let down from [10:38] heaven by four corners and it came even to me upon the which when I had fastened [10:43] mine eyes I considered and saw four-footed Beasts of the earth and wild beasts and creeping things and fouls of [10:49] the air and I heard a voice saying unto me arise Peter slay and eat right the [10:56] most high God said go up there and eat them things right and now so like the [11:01] Christian look at this and be like oo see God said we can eat [11:06] pork you know what I'm saying that's how they take it because these Christians have been taught by Gentiles notice that [11:14] our PE Peter saw that and said no I ain't about to eat that like his mindset [11:20] was I'm not about to eat it a Christian mindset because they've been brought their Doctrine from Gentiles right who [11:28] don't share our history don't know our law their mindset is see now I got permission to eat pork chops right so we [11:36] have to take our minds out of the Christian mindset and we got to look at it from from the from the mindset of our [11:43] people from Hebrew mindset right and when you look at it from Hebrew mindset we never stop keeping the law that [11:50] wouldn't make sense to us right it would not make sense for somebody who's in Israel keeping the law [11:58] doing it to pop up one day and be like yep I ain't got to keep the law no more in fact don't want [12:05] to right it just it doesn't make sense you don't just go somewhere just because [12:12] you got a one way of operating right you got one way always use the you know what I'm saying the dog you know that's just [12:18] an easy one you know what I'm saying if I don't eat dogs here then why would I start that's not us that's what these people do that's not us right what we were [13:54] looking at is how do you behave that's what separated us from you [13:59] you don't keep our law so we don't mess with you our law tell us we not even supposed to eat your [14:06] food you don't remember what Mo grab uh grab Exodus uh grab Exodus chapter 34 you [14:14] don't remember what Moses told us he told us look man when we go into this land you kill every one of them don't [14:21] make no marriages with them and don't eat with them don't eat of their [14:27] sacrifices what he said right because they don't behave the way [14:34] they got tainted sacrifice they got all types of stuff grab uh Exodus chapter [14:39] 34 watch this this is Exodus chapter 34:12 they got all types of stuff that [14:45] they do that we would never do right it don't align with our law so this is [14:51] where it come from where they looking like you remember when Peter walked in to the Gentiles he like look normally I [14:57] wouldn't even be able to come here and spend any time with y'all it ain't even lawful for me to be here the reason why [15:04] he said that is because of this law that we about to look at right now and it's the same reason that those of of What's [15:10] called the circumcision they came to them was looking like hold on Peter you was up in there with Gentiles you was [15:15] eating with them right this is uh Exodus chapter 34:12 watch the book say they [15:22] heed to thyself lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you go lest it be for a snare [15:27] in the midst of thee but shall destroy their altars break their images and cut down their Groves for Thou shalt worship [15:34] no other God for Yahweh whose name is jealous is a jealous God lest thou make [15:40] a covenant with the inhabitants of the land and they go a whoring after their gods and do sacrifice unto their gods [15:46] and one call thee and you eat of his sacrifice and you take and thou take up their daughters and unto their sons and [15:54] their unto thy sons and their daughters go whing after their gods and make thy Sons go whing after their gods Thou [16:01] shalt make thee no molten Gods the so you see he said look I don't want [16:07] you to have no dealings with them or you'll mess around and eat of their sacrifice so that is a law for us that [16:15] we can't eat of their sacrifice remember people would sacrifice their food or [16:21] sacrifice that animal and then they would take it and then cook it and prepare food from it so now we don't [16:29] know if you sacrificed this to to a if we eating of a gentile's table I don't [16:35] know what you did before you with before you got this meat so that's why we weren't supposed to eat that's why they [16:41] say you ate with a gentile because you don't know if they sacrificed that they don't keep our [16:46] law they might somebody might have sacrificed that and then brought it to them right so it would have been against [16:52] our law to take that type of risk so that's why they sitting there like oh no you can't that's why he said it's not [16:58] even lawful for me to be here right that's why he told him that jump back over there this is acts 11 verse3 or [17:05] verse four whatever verse we love where we leave up 5 four three eight eight this is acts chap 11 verse eight but I [17:13] said not so Lord For Nothing common or unclean has at any time entered into my mouth but the voice answered me again [17:20] from Heaven what God hath cleansed thou call not thou coming and this was done three times and [17:27] all were drawn up again into heaven and behold immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was [17:34] sent from cesaria unto me and the spirit bade me go with them nothing doubting [17:40] moreover these six Brethren accompanied me and we entered into the man's house and he showed us how he had seen an [17:46] angel in his house which stood and said Holy Spirit for right so he said look John he baptized with [18:17] water but ye shall be baptized with the holy spirit so he remembered that and he [18:23] was looking like oh so this is yah telling me that he's baptizing them [18:29] before I even get to it cuz remember he's just speaking a word he's telling them look let me tell you when Isaiah 53 [18:37] is talking about this this is actually talking about the Messiah let me show you in Daniel Daniel when Daniel said this that another that's actually [18:42] talking about the Messiah so that's why he had to die he died for your he's explaining the gospel to him and the and [18:49] the Gentiles sitting there like they believeing it they like oh this is crazy [18:54] man y'all got so powerful then all of a sudden all of a sudden the spirit fell on him and so he remember he looking [19:00] like oh this is them being baptized by the spirit that's the exactly what John [19:07] was talking about I mean what uh yahua was talking about when he said John would baptized with water but we would [19:15] be baptized by the spirit the Gentiles got baptized by God so then you remember [19:21] if you remember last week when he was like look they got the spirit just like we got it what keeps them from getting [19:28] to the water right so he looking like well usually you baptized by the water first and then [19:33] the Spirit come but if the most high God gave him the spirit first Spirit first who are we not to let him sit in the [19:39] water right keep going watch this for as much then as God gave them [19:46] the like gift as he had did unto us who believed on the Lord yahu the Messiah what was I that I could withand [19:54] God when they heard these things they held their peace and glorified God saying then as God also to the Gentiles [20:01] granted repentance unto life now they which were s scattered abroad upon the [20:06] persecution uh upon the persecution that arose about Steven traveled as far as [20:12] started to scatter and go all over the place even as far as Antioch right [20:56] even as far as Aleppo so you remember even even uh even uh uh Paul he was [21:03] chasing us out to Damascus right here that's super far away but we went even [21:08] further so we going further and further out as uh as time goes on because they [21:14] chasing us right keep going watch [21:21] this oh oh did I lose you no I'm here and some of them were men of Cyprus [21:27] and sirene which when they were come to Antioch spake unto the grecians preaching the Lord [21:36] yahua try to get a quick you gota be ashamed of [21:42] dark can't buy good help around here [21:51] boy and the Hand of the Lord was with them and a great number believed and turned unto the Lord the Tiding of these [21:58] things came unto the ears of the congregation which was in Jerusalem and they sent from barnab they sent forth [22:03] Barnabas that he should go as far as Antioch who then he came and had seen the grace of God is it Barnabas yeah or [22:12] is it Barabas uh Barnabas all right who when he came and had seen the [22:19] grace of God was glad and exhorted them all that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord he was a good [22:26] man and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith faith and much people was added unto the Lord then departed Barnabas to [22:32] Tarsus to seek Saul right so then Barnabas so if y'all remember Saul got [22:38] sent you remember you remember Saul he got sent up to tarus because that's where he from we gonna later find out [22:44] that's where he lives you know what I'm saying so you remember when when when uh [22:49] after Saul converted he was like I'm a disciple now and start preaching the word all of our people start chasing him [22:55] out he he went to ciceria and then he took a boat all the way to Tarsus up here right so now Barnabas is like uh [23:04] the Gentiles got put on let me go look for Saul right so Barnabas is headed [23:10] here to Tarsus too right we gonna get back to that watch this keep [23:16] going what verse we at uh 27 27 keep going wait wait wait no 26 and when he [23:23] had found him he brought him unto Antioch and it came to pass that a whole year they assembled themselves with the [23:28] congregation and taught much people right so now he found them he went to [23:33] Tarsus and he found them then after that he took them way over here to Antioch right and they spent a year [23:41] there and they're teaching people so I want y'all to understand what's happening our people are down here this [23:48] where the Hebrews are right the Gentiles are all up here we had to leave [23:54] Jerusalem because the the Elders of the Jews right the Elders of the of our people [24:01] are chasing us out because they looking like man stop preaching to us about yahushua we don't believe that mess so [24:09] those of us that didn't believe was chasing out those of us that did believe [24:14] those of us that did believe started to get out of Dodge right Paul went back to [24:19] his house he's he's a Hebrew like us but he lived in Tarsus right so then [24:26] Barnabas goes finds him in Tarsus then after that uh Barnabas takes them to Antioch who's in Antioch the Gentiles so [24:35] now they got evidence right from Peter that the Gentiles can be saved Paul is [24:42] telling the word at the same time to the Gentiles right he spends a year in [24:47] Antioch preaching to the Gentiles so Paul is like the first person doing this [24:53] right when Peter did it Peter did it up here he did it right by the crib right [24:58] by Jerusalem Paul is the one he's doing it far out deep into the Gentile [25:03] territory that's important to know we going we gonna talk about why keep [25:12] going and the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch so this is [25:18] why right the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch right [25:25] Christian comes from a Greek word there's no Hebrew word for [25:30] Christian right that comes solely from a Greek word so that means it started in Greek well that's because in Antioch you [25:39] have Gentiles a bunch of Gentiles there so the Gentiles called us Christians [25:46] because the way you say messiah in Greek is Christos so they called us Christians [25:54] that was their way of saying you guys follow Christos right followers of kristos so when they [26:01] called us that that was something that that Greeks called Hebrews who believed [26:07] in the Messiah right so the very first time that a disciple was called a [26:13] Christian was in the Gentiles land this is important because the stuff [26:19] that we follow in Christianity is primarily influenced by Gentile uh [26:26] Gentile um what what's the word I'm Traditions right even the name of what [26:32] they call it come from a gentile tradition it don't come from Hebrew you won't never see uh one disciple calling [26:38] another disciple a Christian matter of fact you gonna see right here it said Christian right this is when they was [26:44] first called Christian let's see keep reading and in these days came the [26:51] prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch all right go back go back read it again and [26:56] them and they assembled themselves with the congregation and taught much people and the disciples were called Christians [27:02] first in Antioch right and who was called what the disciples so he's saying [27:08] who are they they're disciples but what were they called Christians he didn't say the Christians that were also called [27:15] Disciples and he didn't say the disciples that are also Christians he said no the disciples so that's who they [27:22] are were first called Christians they're only called Christians I'll prove it to [27:27] you keep reading and in these days came the prophets from [27:32] Jerusalem unto Antioch and there stood up one of them named agabus and signified by the spirit that there [27:39] should be a great dir throughout all the world which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar then the disciples every [27:45] man according to his ability then the who the disciples why they didn't say then the Christians they already start [27:51] being called Christians why you didn't say then the Christians never you're not going to see [27:57] it no more you going to see Christian two other times in this book right and of those two other times [28:04] not once will you see a disciple calling another disciple Christian right the [28:10] next time we gonna see it is going to be in the book of Acts and it's going to be a gentile calling Paul a [28:17] Christian right then the last time you gonna see it is in the book of Peter and he's Peter talking about how [28:24] other people are shaming them for being called Christians [28:31] right but at no point do you see one disciple call another disciple a Christian there's a reason for that and [28:37] there's also a reason that the the the Believers today the common knowledge [28:43] would tell you that if you believe the Holy Bible that you are a Christian that's common knowledge so it should be [28:51] telling that you can find the word you can find Believers of the Holy Bible as we would call it today in in the [28:58] scripture or in the Bible you can find that those Believers are called [29:03] Disciples over I think it's over thousand times over a thousand times in [29:09] the New Testament you see disciple disciple disciple disciple disciple only [29:14] you can only find Christian three times and not once is one disciple calling another one yahu ain't call nobody a [29:21] Christian none of the Apostles called nobody a Christian not once however how [29:26] did this three times end up Dy Dom inating everything and now everybody nobody is called a disciple today [29:32] everybody is called a Christian when you see stuff like that you have to say um [29:38] this there's something wrong with this right same thing about Sunday worship we we we read all through we've [29:45] been reading the whole Bible yahua was alive yosua wasn't didn't exist yosua [29:51] was alive yosua die yahua Rose at one at one point show me where everybody [29:57] gathered on the Sunday tell me where yah we read it ourselves we just read through the whole [30:03] thing we read through the whole book tell me one occasion where yahu was like okay look Gather in my name and learn [30:09] about me every Sunday not once so you got to ask [30:15] yourself and say h if the book say the Sabbath if even after yahushua talked [30:21] about uh yahua died and Paul went and he started preaching and he went on the [30:27] Sabbath and Peter went on the Sabbath to the synagogue if all these things is [30:32] happening on the Sabbath where in the world did this Sunday stuff come from and you gonna get [30:38] some smart Christian that gonna take you to one verse and you gonna me to tell me all these instances of the Sabbath get [30:45] overpowered by one verse that's not even talking about what you think it's talking about you have to stop and you got to [30:52] ask yourself how did we come to this conclusion if we're being objective [30:58] but a lot of people when they read the book they not being objective they going off a tradition and that that sh [31:04] put fear in us because that mean if you are putting tradition over the word of God that means God is not in [31:12] you right this word is not given to descript I mean to uh Christians it's [31:18] given to disciples period Christians is blind to this [31:24] remember we talked about Matthew Chapter 13 and Mark chapter 4 right where the [31:30] the disciples asked yahua he said why do you speak unto them in Parables and yahua said it because it's not given to [31:37] them it's given to the disciples and the them in that statement [31:43] were all the great multitudes that was following yahushua if you just a follower of [31:49] Christ a Christian it's not given to you it's given to disciples the books [31:56] say that that's not mean making nothing up oh we God go to uh go to Isaiah chapter [32:03] 8 this is Isaiah chapter 8 is Isaiah chapter 8 verse1 [32:12] 16 whenever we look at the book we have to follow the facts follow the evidence [32:18] what does it say we can't jump to conclusions and get to connecting dots that's not there that's how these people [32:25] run off and start religions that don't make no darn sense I'm a darn Mormon what what in the world [32:31] that man ran up and found a whole darn book added to it twisted it did all types of stuff talking about he had a [32:37] darn Vision I'm a Seventh Day Adventist what you can't just jump out and just [32:44] start making stuff up follow my word and then you are my disciple again so now I [33:58] can tell somebody based off a book if you want to be yahushua's disciple you [34:04] have to follow his word he said that not me now tell me what it takes to be a [34:11] Christian there's nothing but I can tell you I can tell [34:16] you what's connected to a disciple I can tell you that Isaiah chapter 6 uh chapter 8 verse 16 tell you bind up the [34:22] testimony amongst my disciples that means listen the only people that's going to get a understanding of this [34:28] book is the disciples that's what that mean keep going watch this and I will wait upon yaha that [34:36] hides his face from the house of Jacob and I will look for him behold I and the children whom Yahweh has given me are [34:42] for signs and for wonders in Israel from the L from Yahweh of hosts which dwells in Mount Zion and when they shall say [34:50] unto you seek unto them that have familiar spirits and unto wizard that Peep and to mutter and that mutter to [34:56] not a people seek unto their God for the living to the dead to the law [35:01] and to the testimony if they speak not according to this word it is because there is no light in them right anybody [35:08] who's running their mouth if it don't line up with this book these people don't have any light you not on your [35:16] phone is you boy right it's because they don't have him he put him in prison and delivered him un [38:08] the four C cians of soldiers to keep him [38:14] intending after the Passover to bring him forth to the people right so you remember how [38:21] remember how pilate he was like it's our custom to let somebody go to you on the Passover who do you want do you want uh [38:28] barabus or do you want um uh uh yahushua and the people was like no give us give [38:35] us barabus you know what I'm saying we'll take barabus you I'm saying kill yahua right so this is Herod doing the [38:42] same thing he looking like okay I'mma lock Peter up but we always release somebody on on the Passover so he was [38:49] just thinking he gonna lock him up and then release him on the Passover but this the second time Peter got locked up [38:55] remember the first time Peter got locked up they angel came unlocked the doors and led him out let's see what happened [39:00] this time Peter therefore was kept in prison but prayer was made without ceasing of [39:07] the congregation unto God for him and when Herod would have brought him forth the same night Peter was sleeping [39:13] Between Two Soldiers bound with two chains and the keepers before the door kept the prison and behold the angel of [39:19] Yahweh Came Upon him and a light shined in prison and he smoked Peter on the side and raised him up saying arise up [39:26] quickly SM him on look the angel smote him on the side that's he woke him up by hitting him he like hey wake up I'm say [39:33] wake up you know what I'm saying and then he said arise watch this keep going and his chains fell off from his hands [39:40] and the angel said unto him guard thyself and bind on thy sandals and so he did right so now look he was chained [39:46] up to two soldiers sitting in between him sleep you know what I'm saying Angel hit him on the side bow he wake up he [39:53] woke up and all of a sudden the change just slid right off his hands you know what I'm saying then the angel was like [39:58] look man put some you know what I'm saying put your darn belt on put on some shoes right Peter sitting there half [40:04] darn sleep like okay you what we doing and watch what happened and he said unto him cast thy garment about thee and [40:11] follow me right put your jacket on come with me right watch this and he went out [40:17] and followed him and wish not that it was true which was done by the angel but thought he saw a vision right now in [40:23] Peter's mind he thinks this is just a vision he think he's having like a a prophetic Vision or something he don't [40:29] know that this is really happening right keep going watch [40:37] this and when they were passed at the fir when they passed the first and the second ward they came unto the Iron Gate [40:44] which leaded unto the city which opened to them of his own accord and they went out and passed on through one street and [40:50] forth with the angel departed from him and when Peter was come to himself he said now I know of a assy that the Lord [40:59] has sent his Angel and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the people of the [41:04] Jews and when he had considered the thing he came to the house of Mary the mother of John whose surname was Mark [41:11] where many were gathered together praying and as Peter right so this is John whose surname was Mark okay so like [41:19] the book of so some of the people that we talking about are you know they relate to some of the books or we know [41:26] Matthew was a was a Apostle and we know uh we know John was an apostle right but [41:33] then now you also have the Book of Mark and the Book of Luke right so the person [41:38] who wrote who's writing acts that's Luke is is the same person that wrote Luke [41:44] right his name is Luke but now you have Mark so this is where Mark gets introduced his name is John his surname [41:51] is Mark his last name was Mark so Mark is the one who wrote the Book of Mark [41:56] and this is where he kind of get introduced keep going where many were gathered together praying and as Peter [42:02] knocked at the door of the gate a damel came to Harkin named Roa and when she [42:07] knew Peter's voice she opened not the gate for gladness but ran in and told how Peter stood before the gate right so [42:14] look she they all sitting there in one house praying for Peter like oh Lord please let him Lo let him Lo so she he a [42:21] knock at the door she looking like I'll get it I'll get it and then she go to the door and like I like to m like she [42:27] had one of them little pulled down things where you can like kind of see and kind of see who it is so she pulled it down and she looked and she saw it [42:34] was Peter her butt got so excited that she didn't open the door and be like Peter come in she got so excited she [42:41] just ran and told everybody Peter he I don't know he got you know she just she lost her darn mind she Peter standing [42:48] out there like what in the world like let me in you know what I'm saying but she just got super excited and told everybody like listen Peter's at the [42:55] door he's out somehow he's out it's a miracle cuz remember they've been sitting there praying about it all night [43:02] right they thought Peter was about to be put to death cuz remember it's it's Passover is coming up and he's locked up [43:09] doesn't this sound reminiscent or something right this what happened with yahua yahua got locked up the night [43:15] before Passover and then the next day on Passover he died so we looking at Peter like this [43:23] about to be it everybody praying we don't want him to die CU we don't know if he go excuse me we don't know if he [43:30] gonna come back like yahua right and even though yahua came back think about it they walked around [43:36] every day with yahua yahua yeah he came back from the dead but after that he [43:41] left him so it's like they still feel like I lost my mans even though they [43:47] know like I got hope I'mma see him again he gonna resurrect us he gonna return we all believe that but at the same time I [43:53] miss walking around with my mans so now you got Peter and you think about okay well even if he get resurrected yahu [44:00] might take him anyway so they sad about this they praying they praying she got so excited when she saw him she pull the [44:08] thing down and she looking like that's Peter and she run to the other room and [44:13] she watch it there watch what the book say but she ran and told how Peter stood [44:20] before the gate and they said unto her Thou Art mad but they look like girl you [44:25] crazy when they say mad said girl you crazy you know what I'm saying watch this but she constantly affirmed that it [44:31] was even so then they said then they said it it is his Angel but Peter [44:37] continued knocking and when they had opened the door Peter still at the door like boom boom boom what's wrong with [44:43] y'all you say Let Me In he's still at the door door knocking he said what he kept knocking and what [44:49] happened and they and they saw him they were astonished but he beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace [44:56] declared unto him how the Lord had brought him out of the prison and said so he beckoned on in other word he made [45:02] a sign with his hand telling him to hold it down to be quiet because he wanted to talk so you can imagine how like it [45:09] probably erupted in there when they realized it really was Peter and so he had to use his hand like calm down calm [45:15] down calm down and then he had to talk watch what he said go show these things unto James and to the Brethren and he [45:22] departed and went into another place now right so he said why would he say show up onto J and [45:29] theen you got to encourage him James just uh his brother just died didn't [45:34] he no well J James James the brother of John just died uh because you got you [45:40] got the sons of zebede right so one of the sons of zebede just got killed by [45:45] Herod right so they looking at that's another thing right before Peter got locked up one of the son one of the one [45:52] of the Apostles died right so James the Apostle died now it's two James it's [45:58] really three but it's two it's two that go by James right and so James the uh [46:03] James the brother zebede you know I'm saying uh uh the son of zebede he died [46:09] right and he didn't get resurrected then you got Peter get locked up we know yahua died right on Passover Passover [46:16] the people that we talking about James that just died as an apostle pet is an [46:57] apostle of course you got John as an apostle and then you also got uh the other James who he just said you know let's keep going and he departed and went into [47:26] another place now as soon as it was day there was no small stir among the soldiers what was become of Peter and [47:34] when Herod had sought for him and found him not he examined the keepers and commanded that they should be put to [47:39] death and he went down from Judah to ciceria and there abod and right so then [47:45] he went down from Judah and he went to cesaria right and then he stayed there [47:51] right keep going and Herod was highly displeased [47:57] with them of Ty and zidon but they came with one Accord to him and having his throne [48:15] and made an oration unto them and the people gave a shout saying it is the voice of God and not of a man and [48:21] immediately the angel of the Lord smote him because he gave not God the glory and he was eaten of worms and gave up [48:29] the ghost but the word of God grew and multiplied and Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem when they had [48:35] fulfilled their Ministry and took with them John whose surname was Mark right so now Mark is with John uh [48:44] I'm sorry Mark is with Paul and Barnabas right so he running with them they went to Jerusalem and they left and so he's [48:51] running with them now right why would they be in Jerusalem remember they was in anoch [48:57] right they is way over here in Antioch they spent a year over there how in the [51:00] salua and from then they sailed to Cyprus and when they at so look they [51:06] they went here so they they they went to saloia and then from there they sailed to Cyprus which is this island right [51:13] here right so they went from here on the coast and then they went to Cyprus then what [51:19] else and when they were at salamis they preached the word of God in the [51:24] synagogues of the Jews and then had also hold on they preached it where [51:30] in the synagogues right they didn't go straight to no Gentiles they wasn't on the street [51:36] begging Gentile hey uh please found a certain [52:25] sorcerer a false prophet a Jew whose name was bar yahua which was with the deputy of the [52:32] country sergius p paulus a prudent man who called for Barnabas and Saul and [52:39] desired to hear the word of God uhhuh but elamus the sorcerer for so for so is [52:46] his name by interpretation withstood them seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith right so you had one [52:54] Sorcerer And you had this dude that's looking like I kind of want to hear what y'all talking about you know [52:59] saying what y'all was talking about over there in that synagogue come sorcerer like I kind of want to hear what they talking about this is a sorcerer he looking like I kind of want [54:07] to hear what they talking about but then you got this other sorcerer was looking called Paul filled with the Holy Spirit set his eyes on him and said oh full of all subtility and [54:26] all Mischief thou child of the devil thou enemy of all righteousness will [54:31] thou cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord and now behold the hand of the [54:37] Lord is upon thee and thou shalt be blind not seeing the Sun for a season and immediately there fell on him a mist [54:44] and a darkness and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand right so [54:49] now Paul notice that it said up front he was filled with the holy spirit because [54:55] now the most high God is speaking through them when we hear about holy spirit it's just like the prophets right [55:02] when we is reading the prophets you will see that they was filled with the Holy Spirit and then they started to prophesy [55:07] right so when we hear about oh the H Holy Spirit fell on them or they were [55:12] they were filled with the holy spirit it's because these people were prophesying or they had some gift from [55:18] the most high God that that that he was showing through him so that's what Paul started doing he got filled with the [55:23] Holy Spirit and he started to prophesy about this man right right and then all of a sudden he went [55:29] blind right it's no different from you remember um you remember [55:36] uh uh uh uh uh Saul right you remember [55:41] Saul when when uh Samuel talked to him we don't have to go back and get it but you remember Samuel was talking to him I [55:47] think it was like first 1 Samuel 10 maybe you know saying he was talking to him and he was like listen you know what [55:52] I'm saying you gonna go here you gonna grab this and then you gonna go to the prophets and then the Holy Spirit going to come on you and you going to start to [55:59] prophesy right it's the same thing the Holy Spirit touch them and then they start to prophesy so so Paul the Holy [56:06] Spirit fell on him he started to prophesy about this man and then the man ended up being blind so that was a [56:11] miracle but watch how the people react to it then the dep what verse we on this is [56:17] acts what chapter 13 verse2 okay it's acts 13:12 watch the book say then the [56:24] deputy when he saw what was done believed being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord right so after he [56:30] saw right after he saw that prophecy and after he saw the man go [57:41] also set up an altar in Dan and he put He made the two golden casts because he wanted to keep people from leaving and [57:47] going to the House of David and serving in Jerusalem so he set up there and he looking at him and then a man of God come to him watch [58:07] this and he cried against the Altar and the word of Yahweh and said oh altar alar thus says [58:14] Yahweh Behold a child upon thee and and men's bones [58:26] shall be burnt upon thee and he gave a sign and the sign and the he gave a sign the same day saying this is the sign [58:33] which Yahweh has spoken Behold The Altar shall be rent and the ashes that are [58:39] upon it shall be poured out and it came to pass when the king jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God which he had [58:45] cried against the altar in bethl that he put forth his hand of the altar saying lay hold on him right so now when jobor [58:52] heard him talking against his altar he look like who is this man you from Judah [58:57] lay hold on him cuz you know jarro borne wasn't really messing with nobody from Judah he felt like anybody from Judah [59:02] was trying to take his kingdom cuz the kingdom is split so remember you jeroboam except for the uh house of Judah right and then Judah was given to [59:33] rabo rabor was Solomon's son so now jeroboam had to establish his own [59:38] kingdom and separate it from one of the most popular King's bloodline being [59:45] David right and so you look at that and he looking like this a tough job so anybody coming from Judah as a threat to [59:51] his kingdom so he see a man hand stuck right how you think he feel after that watch [60:16] this the altar also was written and the ashes poured out from the altar according to the sign which the man of [60:23] God had given by the word of the Lord right so now he gave him a sign he said [60:29] this is the sign that these things is going to happen right this thing going to be ripped and Ash is gonna fall out [60:36] of it he reached out his hand go get that man hand dried up then all of a sudden exactly what he said was gonna [60:42] happen happen that thing ripped and Ashes came out so watch watch uh how King jerro [61:49] that my hand may be restored to me again and the man of God besought Yahweh and the King's hand was restored to him [61:55] again and became as it was before and the King said unto the man of God come home with me and refresh thyself and I [62:00] will give thee a reward right so now why don't you come eat with me right now we [62:07] could just a second ago he was trying to kill him but now he sees he's the real deal so now it's like man why don't you [62:13] come eat with me now of course the man of God had to tell him I can't do that right and and we should know this story [62:19] you know what I'm saying y'all might not but go ahead and go back and read it again and see what else happened but I use this just to show you that when Paul [62:27] made the man blind it made the people believer because they looking at the prophecy and then they see the sign and [62:34] they looking like oh no he's the real deal at that point right keep going our [62:39] uh go back this is acts where we leave on acts 13 what verse S [62:46] 12 12 is acts chap 13 ver2 what the book say then the deputy when he saw what was [62:53] done believed being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord now when Paul and his company loosed from paos they came [63:02] from they came to perga and pamilia and John departed from them and returned to [63:07] Jerusalem but when they departed from perga they came to Antioch and pidia and [63:13] went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down and after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of [63:19] the synagogue sent unto them saying ye men and Brethren if you have any word of exhortation for the people say on then [63:25] Paul stood up and beckoning with his hand said men of Israel and ye that fear God give audience right so who is he [63:33] talking to is he talking to Gentiles talking to Jews Hebrews I want y'all [63:38] look it's very important that we pick up the these details because we gonna find [63:44] wherefore he saith also in another time Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption for David after he [67:00] had served his own Generation by the will of God fell on sleep and was laid unto his fathers and saw corruption but [67:08] he whom God raised again saw no corruption be know to you therefore men and Brethren that through this man is [67:14] preached unto you the Forgiveness of sins and by right so notice what Paul is trying to do he started off with the [67:21] history very similar to what Stephen did very similar to what a lot of the the the Apostle did or a lot of the disciple [67:27] did when they trying to teach the word they start off with the history because that's what gets our people if you know [67:33] our history then it's like okay you might know what you talking about you got our attention right then after they [67:39] get to the history they break it down and start proving it with scripture they looking like look the scriptures say [67:45] that he will not see corruption you see a lot of them use that already so that's what they using because the idea of the [67:52] Resurrection wasn't so clear like right now we don't necessarily have to use that because we we we were raising [68:00] Christianity so the idea of the Resurrection is not foreign to us but at that point it would have been foreign to [68:06] our people so you kind of have to prove like no no the scripture been telling you about the resurrection what you [68:12] think it meant when David was saying you won't suffer me to see corruption then [68:17] he's like you think that was talking about David it can't be because we all know it's written in our scripture that [68:22] David was buried with his fathers so he absolutely saw corruption so he making a [68:28] point that David was prophesying about the Messiah and the Messiah was raised [68:34] from the dead because he would not see corruption keep going and by him all that believe are Justified from all [68:40] things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses look and now he telling you listen you could not [68:47] be justified by this stuff from the law of Moses but through him everybody is [68:53] Justified from everything if you believe right keep [69:03] going beware therefore lest that come upon you which is spoken of in the [69:09] prophets behold ye despisers and wonder and perish for I work a work in your days a work which you shall in no wise [69:15] believe though a man declare it unto you even if a man tell you you ain't gonna believe it you know what I'm saying [69:21] that's what happens right he said I work a work in your day that nobody going to believe even if somebody told it and [69:28] explained it to you you not going to believe it well that's where we are word and you keep getting motivated and you moved emotionally and you get up from your [72:41] Sunday church and then you go and then as soon as you get out the darn door and hit that darn traffic you got an [72:48] attitude you ready to hurt somebody and all that because your brain can't change your soul haven't [72:57] changed the only way for the soul to change is the word and can't nobody come [73:02] can't nobody reach you unless you got the word that's why when we do it we [73:07] teach from the word if your soul resist the word then [73:14] your soul is resisting the word but your soul don't even have a chance if you [73:19] ain't getting the word if you got somebody that read one little half a verse to you and then go on for three [73:24] hours trying to explain it and motivate you but they know that they know a lot [73:31] of this stuff they don't know it all now some of these boys is ignorant to some stuff but they know a lot of this stuff [73:37] they know enough to get spoken by Paul contradicting and blaspheming and Paul and Barnabas waxed [75:29] bold and said it was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you but seeing you put it from [75:35] you and judge yourselves Unworthy of everlasting life Lo we turn to the [75:40] Gentiles for so right so now they started to talk to the [75:45] Gentiles right but remember they have right now so they at first they were in [75:51] this Antioch right now they over here in where is it uh they in this Antioch [75:57] right so they have already been spreading this stuff speaking to [76:03] Israelites but Gentiles are hearing it right same thing here Gentiles are [76:09] hearing it they want to hear more of it but the Gentiles are already getting the word right now he's telling them oh [76:16] because y'all rejected it now we about to speak directly to the Gentiles right keep going watch [76:22] this for so has the Lord commanded us saying I have set thee to be a light to the Gentiles Thou Art Thou should us be [76:29] for salvation unto the ends of the Earth and when the Gentiles heard this they were glad and glorified the word of the [76:35] Lord and as many as were obtained to eternal life believed and the word of the Lord was published throughout all [76:42] that all the region for the Jews stirred up The Devout and honorable women and chief men of the city and raised [76:48] persecution against Paul and Barnabas and expelled them out of their Coast but they shook off the dust of their feet [76:53] against them and came unto Iconium and the disciples were filled with joy and [76:59] with the Holy Spirit right so now they came back here [77:06] the Iconium right so they was here and then they came back over here so they was in lisra Derby all these different [77:13] places right but now they back here I just want to get y'all a visual [77:21] like how far Paul is traveling all right keep going that's the end of the chapter [77:29] yeah all right talked about the circumcision right the circumcision that's what they call the [78:08] group of people that believe well yeah but to be saved you still got to be [78:15] circumcised and keep the law right so this end this is about to become a fight [78:21] but I want y'all to see how it becomes a fight everywhere that Paul's going you [78:26] see that these people are getting like our people are getting mad like what what is y'all talking about not [78:32] everybody is going along with what Paul's saying so you got some of the Hebrews that's like okay we rock with [78:37] that and some of them that don't the ones that don't they fighting against it and they trying to get the the the [78:44] Gentiles to turn against us and then when they see the Gentiles also believe [78:50] it's enraging them right so let's keep going [78:56] but the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles and made their minds evil affected against the Brethren long time [79:03] therefore abold they speaking boldly in the Lord which they which gave testimony [79:08] unto the word of his grace and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands mude of the city was divided and [79:16] part held with the Jews and part with the apostles and when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles and [79:22] also of the Jews with their rulers to use them despitefully and to Stone them they were they were they were aware of [79:30] it and fled to lisra and Derby cities of lonia and unto the region of that lith [79:36] round about and there right they preach so look they in Iconium right [79:43] they preaching the word they get they they the uh the the the Hebrews start turning everybody against them so they [79:49] spreading words about him like no man you don't want to mess with Paul them this that and other they just that they they do this at the other so then they [79:56] got to the point where they ready to Stone him so Paul and Barnabas got word of it and so they got loose and they [80:01] went to lisra and Derby right keep going and there sat a certain man at lisra [80:07] impotant in his feet being a from his mother's womb who never had walked the same heard Paul speak who [80:13] steadfastly beholding him and perceiving that he had Faith to be healed said with a loud voice stand upright on thy feet [80:20] and he leaped and walked and when the people saw that Paul had what Paul had done they lift up their voices saying in [80:27] the speech of the lon lyonia the gods are come down to us in the likeness of men right so they saying that in they [80:34] language right in they language they saying oh wow the gods have come down in [80:40] the likeness of men right keep going and they called Barnabas Jupiter and Paul Mercury because right so then they call [80:47] Barnabas Jupiter and they call Paul Mercury but Mercury is uh is really [80:54] Hermes right it's really Hermes so they call they call uh uh Paul Hermes so if you [81:01] know anything about Greek mythology Hermes wasn't an actual God I think he's [81:07] like a what they call demigod you know what I'm saying whatever you know what I'm saying but Jupiter was Jupiter is [81:12] Zeus right so Jupiter is equivalent to Zeus in in Greek mythology this would be [81:18] Roman mythology but it's it's it's almost one to one with Greek mythology so the way we learned about Jews uh [81:25] juice suffered [83:29] All Nations to walk in their own ways nevertheless he left not himself without witnessing that he did good and gave us [83:35] rain from heaven in fruitful Seasons filling our hearts with food and gladness and with these sayings scarce [83:42] restrained they the people that they had not done the sacrifice unto them and there came there certain Jews from [83:49] Antioch and Iconium who persuaded the people and having stoned Paul Drew him out of the City supposing he had been [83:55] dead so look they came from Antioch here and Iconium and I think the they was [84:00] prosperous you gonna get a promotion on your job so we take that and our minds is set up to believe [89:44] that stuff but this is not what this is not the expectation that the most high God said so you can see here Paul is [89:51] saying through much tribulations you will be saved right so that means it's going to [89:57] be rough and it's going to be tough if you set up your mindset that way then you might be like oh that actually [90:03] wasn't so bad because that's the expectation we not falsely manipulating ourselves that's the expectation that [90:10] the book set up is that this thing is GNA be through much tribulation you gonna get persecuted it's GNA be rough [90:16] people not going to like you if you walk into it and you know that's what you signing up for it's easier to deal with [90:24] right keep [90:32] going and when they had ordained them Elders in every congregation and had prayed with fasting they commended them [90:39] to the Lord on whom they believe and
