Behold, a Bright Cloud Overshadowed Them

[00:05] it's another opportunity for us to hear and learn that the word of truth that's given to us by the most high god [00:11] all honor goes to the father through the son whose name is yahweh all honor goes to the father to the son [00:16] whose name is yahushua in him lies the only hope for salvation we know that it is obtained by grace [00:22] through faith not of works lest anyone should boast and give him freely as a gift to all who obey him [00:28] we understand that if you do not obey him it is made manifest or made obvious that you do not believe [00:35] in this state you should expect no good thing from the most high however anything that you do get whether [00:41] it be a gift of tongues a gift of prophecy or any supernatural experience that you may have it can and it will be used against you [00:48] in the day of judgment but that said peace to the saints that are in the room so the saints that couldn't make it [00:53] but no peace to the wicked the only thing we say transfigured before them right so the man changed before them [04:59] he was transfigured so something changed about him about him before them right in [05:05] front of him right let's see what that looked like and his [05:11] clothes became shiny his clothes became what shiny okay exceedingly white as snow uh-huh so as [05:18] no fuller on earth can wipe them and there appeared unto them elijah with moses hold [05:24] on so his clothes became shiny and then what else happened [05:30] and there appeared under him elijah no before that wait yes exceedingly white as snow so exceedingly [05:36] white as snow the man was like a bright white light [05:43] what does that remind us of [05:49] the latter [06:01] i'm thinking of uh moses yeah remember when moses came down with the law and his face [06:46] what [06:57] and he was there with the lord 40 days and 40 nights he didn't either eat bread nor drink water and he wrote upon the tables the words [07:04] of the covenant the ten commandments and it came to pass when moses came down from mount sinai with the two tables of [07:11] testimony in moses's hand he came down from the mountain that moses was not that the skin of his face [07:17] shone while he talked with it and when aaron and all the children of israel saw moses behold [07:23] the skin of his face shone that's right so where did he come from the mountain and who was he up there [07:28] with god and most of our guys said he talked to moses how face the thing [07:35] thinking different you people don't know what they're dealing with they people don't know what they're as the sun and his [09:36] raiment was white as the light and behold there appeared unto them moses and elijah talking with him [09:42] so now you got moses and you got elijah talking to him after that right so at first you had his face [09:48] shining like moses right then all of a sudden moses pop up then you got somebody else with him [09:53] elijah right let's hear what happened after that and behold there appeared unto the moses [09:59] and elijah talking with him then answered peter and said unto yahshua lord it is good for us to be [10:05] here if you will let us make here three [13:16] performing the day that's right you got to do one day so that same cloud you see how god works in similar tools right just [13:22] like moses talked to god in the mountain and his face was say for they were so afraid [14:22] and there was a cloud that overshadowed them and the voice came out of the cloud saying this is my beloved son [14:27] hear him and suddenly when they had looked round about they saw no man except yahshua only with [14:33] themselves and as they came down from the mountain he charged them that they should tell no [14:38] man what they had seen until the son of came to pass about an eight days after these sayings he took [16:25] peter and john and james and went up into a mountain to pray and he and as he prayed the fashion of [16:32] his countenance was altered and his raiment was white and glistery and behold there talked with him two men [16:39] which were moses and elijah who appeared in glory and spake of his deceased which he should accomplish at [16:44] jerusalem all right so they spoke they spoke about how the man had to die if moses and a lot and [16:50] they talking to the man like oh yeah you know you got to die right they all just having the coverage they having a conversation with the most high [16:56] god's son right tell him like yeah you know how that thing got a blood now the way it got play out like this [17:02] yeah and almost like god told me to yeah we don't know how the conversation went but that's how i like to imagine it [17:07] right they talking about about the man's with his deceased how the man got to die keep going watch [17:12] this but peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep and when they awoke they saw his glory and the two men [17:19] that's still with him and it came to pass as he [17:32] does think there came a cloud and overshadowed them and they feared as they entered into the cloud and there came a voice out of the cloud [17:38] saying this is my beloved son hear him and when the voice was passed yahshua was found alone [17:44] and they kept it close and no man and told no man in those days any of the things which they had seen [17:49] right so they didn't tell nobody about that one right they had a cloud in every situation that we that we read [17:55] everybody who gives them the counter this there was a cloud that overshadowed them that covered everything up [18:01] right the man told them that before they die they gonna see the kingdom of god [18:08] right we look at that and we like okay what does that really mean they saw the kingdom of god with the man [18:14] transfigured he that's what he showed them and they might they might have been thinking like oh man before we die [18:20] this thing's gonna happen so if you look you have to think about this if you look at the writers [18:25] that wrote revelation right that wrote a lot of these epistle [18:30] letters you will see they talking like man listen the end is near that thing about to come [18:36] right now it's imminent it's the type of language that they use [18:42] right the reason why they using that type of language is because they just got told by the son of god [18:48] that before they taste death right some of y'all before y'all even taste [18:53] death this thing gonna happen they start seeing some of their friends dying some of the people around them dying [18:59] they look like oh i know this thing got to happen before i die [19:05] right and at some point you gotta realize oh the man showed me the kingdom [19:12] he showed me he's the kingdom watch this uh grab uh grab exodus [19:20] chapter 40. yeah i remember at the at the very [19:25] beginning when we started the gospel yahushua said to the pharisees destroy this temple [19:31] right we said we're going to come back to that because at the very end when when they charge them for death [19:36] that's what they use they use uh well he said he's gonna destroy the temple but really he said destroy this temple and it'll be rebuilt [19:43] in three days right so watch this [19:49] this exodus chapter 40 give me verse uh 31 [19:58] this is when moses was built building the tabernacle and moses and aaron and his sons watch [20:04] their hands wash their hands and their feet they're at when they went into the tent of the congregation and when they came near [20:10] to the altar they washed as the lord commanded moses and he reared up the court round about [20:16] the tabernacle on the altar and set up the hanging of the court gates so moses finished the word [20:21] then the cloud covered the tent of the congregation and the glory of the lord filled the tabernacle he said the glory of the lord did what [20:28] filled the tabernacle it filled the tabernacle then what moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation because the [20:34] cloud above thereon right was that a cloud [20:40] he couldn't get in there because the cloud was in there that sound familiar we looked at yeah [20:46] sure y'all his book said counseling has changed one writer said [20:54] his his face was like the sun but his clothes like white and snow a fuller can somebody who do clothes [20:59] can't even do nothing with that then after that they saw moses and they [21:04] saw elijah then a clown was there then the most high guy spoke look at [21:11] this watch this and the tabernacle wait and the glory of [21:17] the lord filled the tabernacle and when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle the children of israel went onward in all their journeys [21:24] but if the cloud was not taken up then they journeyed not to the day it was taken up for the cloud of the lord was upon the [21:29] tabernacle by day and the fire was on it by night in the sight of all the house of israel throughout all their journeys [21:35] the most high god was using the cloud to signify the yahushua with the one this is the tabernacle this is the [21:41] temple this is the kingdom of god this is who you follow right just like you follow the cloud in [21:46] the wilderness right this is where yeah then he gave his voice to put a further stamp on it is my [21:52] son in whom i am well pleased what we have to think about is why did he see fit to [21:57] only show three people that that vision [22:03] they gotta be the ones most likely could have showed that to everybody he could have
