children manasseh here and here right they had like this land right here [17:32] he's saying that they couldn't they couldn't get rid of them canaan knights right so they're going they're trying to [17:38] they're trying to get rid of the canaanites they couldn't do it so what they did instead is they're like all [17:44] right forget it y'all got to be our servants right [17:49] they couldn't do and to manasseh [21:50] saying you are a great people and have great power you shall not have only one lot [21:56] but the mountain shall be yours for it is a wood for it is a wood and thou shall cut it [22:02] down and the outgoings of it shall be yours for you shall drive out the canaanites [22:07] though they have iron chariots and though they be strong right so he's talking about this area which had not yet received their inheritance [23:52] and joshua said unto the children of israel how long are you slack to go possess the land which the lord the god [23:57] of your fathers have given you give out from among you three men of each tribe and i will send them and they [24:03] shall rise and go through the land and describe it according to the inheritance of them [24:08] and they shall come again to me and they shall divide it in the seven parts judah shall abide in their coast [24:14] on the south and the house of joseph shall abide in their coasts on the north you shall therefore describe the land [24:20] into seven parts and bring the description here to me that i may cast lots for you here before the lord our [24:26] god but the levites have no part among you for the priesthood of the lord is their inheritance and gad and reuben and [24:32] half-tribe of manasseh have received their inheritance beyond the jordan on the east which moses the servant of the lord gave them and the men arose and [24:39] went away and joshua charged them that went to describe the land saying go and walk through the land and describe [24:45] it and come again to me that i may hear cash lots for you before the lord in shiloh [24:51] and the man went and passed through the land and described it by cities into seven parts in a book and came again to joshua to the host of shiloh and joshua [24:58] cast lots for them in shiloh before the lord and there joshua divided the land and to the children of israel according to their divisions right so think of [25:04] casting lots just like rolling dice like we talked about last week right so what he did is he said okay go search out the [25:11] land he's like man some of y'all ain't got no land we got we got judah taken care of we got ephraim taken care of we [25:17] got we got the uh half trap and manasseh taken care of both we got the whole monastery taken care of we got gab taken [25:24] care of we got reuben taken care of he's like all right so it's seven yards you ain't got nothing [25:30] all right why don't y'all go right out there y'all know the area y'all supposed to be in just describe the land divide it in border went up to the side of jericho on the north side [26:07] westward of the goings out where uh thereof were at the wilderness of beth aven [26:12] and the border went over from there toward lust to the to the side of love's which is bethel southward and the border [26:20] descended to eteroth adar near the hill that lies on the south side of the [26:25] nether beth haran and the border was drawn from there encompassed the corner of the sea [26:31] southward from the hill that lies before beth iran southward and the goings out where at [26:42] a city of the children of judah this was the west quarter and the south quarter was from the end [26:48] of kiryat yarim and which after so jump over to uh chapter 19 verse 49. [68:47] everything got to fit so it's like it's basic things that said in the book bible that we have to accept it's true then [68:53] you get like the age of adam the age of his sons and the age of his sons leading up to so you got time [68:58] everything has to fit into what the books say so now when we look at the world it's interpreted and it's [69:04] structured for us imagine like going discouraged because we are we are under the impression that [78:08] i mean it's not reasonable that like only one person is righteous [78:15] but like no that is reasonable like maybe there's only one really righteous person living right now [78:21] right maybe there's only two or three of them right maybe it's only one in every country right who knows [78:27] right but you can't set your mind up to think just because everybody messed up [78:32] that i must be wrong and maybe they're not really as messed up as i think they are your standard has to be set by the book [78:39] if everybody falls
