Summary
What do we do when our own desires, good or bad, start pulling us away from God? In this Sabbath lesson from Exodus 20 and 31, Proverbs 3 and Galatians 5, we learn to keep the Sabbath holy, acknowledge Yahuah in all our ways, and walk in the spirit instead of the lusts of the flesh. Through the whole armor of God in Ephesians 6 and Yahushua’s temptation in Luke 4, you’ll see how truth blocks the trickery of the devil and how “it is written” lets us strike back. Finally, Moses in Exodus 4, Job 1, Romans 9, Ezekiel 24 and Luke 14 remind us that God’s purpose comes before our plans, and that loving anything more than Him keeps us from being His disciple.
