Summary
How should we comfort one another over those who sleep in the Messiah? In this Sabbath lesson through 1 Thessalonians 1 to 4, Paul praises the saints whose gospel came in power and in the Holy Spirit, reminds them how he labored with his own hands, and urges them to abstain from fornication and to sorrow not as others who have no hope. Through John 11 and Genesis 2, 3 and 5, you’ll learn why Yahushua called the dead Lazarus asleep and why the serpent’s half-truths about death were lies, for life is defined by access to the tree of life. Finally, John 15, 2 Thessalonians 2, Daniel 11 and Isaiah 11 teach that we abide in Yahushua by keeping his commandments, and that a falling away must come first and the man of sin be revealed before the day of the Messiah.
