Summary
Why did Paul circumcise Timothy, and why did he stay in the prison when the doors were opened? In this Sabbath lesson from Acts 16 and Numbers 26, Timothy’s father was a Greek, and since inheritance and identity pass through the father, Paul circumcised him because of the Hebrews in those quarters.
