Peter Saith Unto Him, Thou Shalt Never Wash My Feet

Summary

Why would Yahushua not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes? In this Sabbath lesson from Luke 22, Exodus 24 and Genesis 31, Yahushua eats the Passover with the twelve, and we see how a covenant is sealed with blood and with a meal, as when Israel’s elders saw God and did eat and drink. Through John 13, Deuteronomy 25 and Ruth 4, you’ll learn why Yahushua washed his disciples’ feet, and how the loosed shoe marks the one who is not the redeemer. Finally, Exodus 3, Joshua 5, John 1 and Matthew 16 show Moses, Joshua, John and Peter each set apart from the one Redeemer, and Yahushua gives a new commandment that his disciples love one another.
