Summary
Why were five virgins called wise for refusing to share their oil? In this Sabbath lesson from Matthew 25, Matthew 7 and Luke 10, Yahushua teaches that each of us must first be ready before the bridegroom comes, cast the beam out of our own eye, and choose like Mary the one thing that is needful. Through the parable of the talents, we learn why the servant who hid his master’s money was called wicked and slothful. Finally, Exodus 3, Ezekiel 37, Ezekiel 34, Genesis 30 and Ezekiel 20 show Yahushua as the shepherd with the rod who will separate the sheep from the goats, bringing his flock under the rod and into the bond of the covenant.
