Then a Cloud Covered the Tent of the Congregation, and the Glory of YAHUAH Filled the Tabernacle

Summary

Who really gets the glory when we serve God our own way? In this Sabbath lesson from Song of Solomon 4, 1 Peter 5 and 2 Peter 3, we learn to stir up our minds by way of remembrance, and Leviticus 10 shows how Nadab and Abihu died for offering strange fire that Yahuah never commanded. Through Psalm 115, Exodus 20 and 32, and Gideon’s ephod in Judges 8, you’ll see how anything we make to represent God, no matter how good the intention, can turn into an idol. Finally, Hezekiah in 2 Kings 18, Jeroboam’s calves in 1 Kings 12, and the cloud that filled the tabernacle in Exodus 40 remind us that His glory rests on what He chose, not on traditions we invent.
