This Is the Law of Jealousies, When a Wife Goeth Aside to Another Instead of Her Husband

Summary

How did the law protect both husbands and wives when trust was broken? In this Sabbath lesson from Isaiah 8 and Exodus 1, we go to the law and to the testimony and see how Israel multiplied in Egypt even while Pharaoh tried to wipe us out. Through the law of jealousies in Numbers 5, along with Deuteronomy 22, Exodus 21, Judges 19 and Genesis 24 and 31, you’ll learn that God gave a jealous husband a righteous way to handle his suspicion while also protecting a wife’s name, her care and her choices. Finally, Ezekiel 16, Revelation 10, John 8, Romans 6 and Leviticus 25 show that the word itself cleanses us, that whoever commits sin is the servant of sin, and that Yahuah’s law set servants free.
