Summary
How does the book of Joshua point us to Yahushua? In this Sabbath lesson from Joshua 13 and Joshua 3, we watch the ark go before Israel across the Jordan on dry ground, showing that Yahushua must go first and lead His people into the land. Through Hosea 6, Isaiah 11, Revelation 20 and John 5, you’ll see His promise to raise us up, to recover His people a second time, and to bring the righteous into the first resurrection, over which the second death has no power. Finally, Joshua 7, 8 and 10, Psalm 8 and Genesis 3 show Achan bearing the curse, the king of Ai taken down from the tree before evening, and the kings shut in the cave with great stones, all pictures of Yahushua, who will put every enemy under the feet of those who serve Him.
