Thou Shalt Not Sow Thy Field With Mingled Seed

Summary

What does it really mean to keep ourselves separate as Yahuah’s people? In this Sabbath lesson from John 6, Hebrews 5 and James 1, we learn that no one comes to the Father unless they hear and learn, and that putting the word into practice is what grows us from milk to strong meat. Through Leviticus 19, Matthew 18 and Proverbs 26 and 27, you’ll see that hating a brother in your heart is sin, so we must lovingly rebuke him, because faithful are the wounds of a friend. Finally, the law against mingled seed in Leviticus 19, along with 2 Corinthians 6, Matthew 5 and Genesis 1, teaches us to stay holy and not be unequally yoked, keeping everything after its own kind.
