From Scripture. This answer is plainly backed by the text of Scripture.
No. God does not need to change, and He says He does not: “For I am the LORD, I change not” (Malachi 3:6). Scripture also says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8).
People change all the time. We update what we do when we learn new things. A phone company puts out a new phone every year. New discoveries lead to new technology, and they can make money from it. That is the big difference. We change for our own gain. The Most High does not change from the Word He gave through His prophets. There is real value in that.
Yah’s understanding has no limit (Psalm 147:5). So He never needs to learn something new or put out a “Scripture 2.0.” Even the New Testament, which came through the words of His Son, was foretold in Scripture (Deuteronomy 18:18). He waited for us to “evolve” before He revealed the mysteries of His Kingdom.
So are these “old” ideas still worth something? Yes. If nothing else, they are a map. They guide our hearts to true love for our Master and for His children. And at the end, there is a buried treasure: redemption.
