Summary
What does it mean to earnestly contend for the faith? In this Sabbath lesson from Jude, 1 Corinthians 9 and Jeremiah 12, we learn that the faith is a race run to win, and when Jeremiah asks why the wicked prosper, Yahuah answers that if running with footmen wearies us, we must still contend with horses. Through Luke 14, Jude, Deuteronomy 33, Isaiah 63 and Daniel 7, you’ll see Yahushua tell the multitudes to count the cost of being His disciple, Jude warn that Yahuah destroyed those who believed not after Egypt, and the prophets foretell Him coming with ten thousands of His saints. Finally, 2 Peter 1, 2 and 3, Matthew 17 and 13, John 11 and 2 Kings 10 show how adding virtue to faith keeps us from falling, why the apostles were eyewitnesses on the holy mount, and how Yahuah separates the wheat from the tares and delivers the godly on the day of judgment.
